Kelly Osbourne sembra aver trovato una nuova forma fisica ed una nuova eleganza. Infatti indossa uno splendido abito D&G, che la fascia ed esalta le sue curve.

Anche Danielle Panabaker sceglie un abito D&G, con particolare sulla schiena. Perfetta ed elegante.

The latest political support from the fashion industry: The French designer label Paule Ka named its new bag creation “Yes, we Ka”. Why is the bag named in allusion to Barack Obama’s slogan? Beige croc leather and a chain strap. Hmm. Reminds me of to be enchained and threatened with extinction.
I hope the folks at Paule Ka just wanted to say that they’re happy to design and launch a new bag in these tough times.

Okay, here’s the deal with Twilight’s Japan Red Carpet Premiere Event on the 27th of February. It’s a 3 part event that takes place concurrently – the Press Conference, the Red Carpet walk and the Fan Meeting. Its all done back to back so Aishah and I had to set up for each event to get the video footage as well as still photos. It was ultimately well organized and timely but the rain didn’t help much. But we managed to work with it though.

As for Robert, Kristen and Taylor – they were whisked off somewhere in the building each time and had to make a grand entrance at every event. I guess it just how things were done, and actually it made a great effect cos the audience were always different.

Note that Kristen had to change for each event and the guys didn’t have to, coz they were wearing suits which were appropriate for each event. As for Kristen, she had to change into the greek goddess white dress cos its more ‘red carpet’ (I think. ) And lastly, at the Fan Meeting, she changed into the white t-shirt (tied at the side )and jeans ensemble that looked more casual for meeting the fans. But then again,  the guys looked over-dressed for that event! Haha… But I don’t mind they look spanking in those suits!

It was raining lightly and we found all the fans who were in a line before were asked to assemble onto the plaza, and they were divided into 2 groups on both sides of the red carpet.

The fans seemed to be in the rain for some time judging by the complaints we heard and the expressions on their faces.  But for the love of Twilight, come rain or shine..WE WILL BE THERE!

The fans were asked to keep their umbrellas as the main cast were about to arrive.

The  first of 3 Volvo XC90s drives up to the red carpet. (Black for the boys and Red for Kristen) 

Taylor steps out onto the red carpet.

He heads straight to the fans with that drop dead gorgeous smile!

Kristen then arrives and starts signing autographs for the fans. We see her for the first time in that lovely Beautiful greek goddess white flowing dress.

Time to play where’s Kristen and where’s Taylor?…

They’ve reached the finish line… Phew!

WOW! Oh my just look at the three of them…

Hmmmm… wonder what is Robert telling them?

A photographer at the press camp called out for Kristen to wave and be happy (I heard him!)  - she smiled and waved back!

Apparently, a rush of wind blew by and Kristen got major shivers! Poor girl! Great that they just laughed it off! Believe me it was COLD & WET!! They were a class act too cos despite this they stayed quite a while on the red carpet to sign autographs for the fans!! Thank you guys!

They’ve been asked to go up to the Chateau Balcony.  At this point, the cameras were instructed to move and we were all told to turn around. The cast makes their way up…

HAHA Now its Taylor’s turn… looks like he’s saying, “IT’S COOOLD!!!”

Red Carpet – She “wore a one shoulder white silk jersey gown by Parisian couturier Herve Leroux“….”swept lines, and the chiffon skirt. This really is an elegant gown”.  Yaa…ha!!

La crise est bien là, le froid aussi sans oublier cet “insoutenable désir de belles choses”. Toutes les fashions dépendantes moi y compris, résistent avec beaucoup de peine. Alors faisons comme si, ne parlons pas de prix, quand on aime on ne compte pas.

C’est le moment de mettre son portefeuille en orylag Minority  bien au chaud dans un sac molletonné Premier Flirt en orylag et cuir, Lancel.

Vos pieds seront bien au chaud eux aussi  dans ces boots en daim fourré, Michel Vivien .

Letzte Folge der Kollektionsvorstellung zur Pariser Modewoche. Zwei Labels habe ich noch, beide schenkten sich die Show zugunsten einer Vorstellung an Puppen in ihren Geschäftsräumen bzw. im Hotel Ritz. Ich möchte jeweils einen Gesamt-Eindruck vermitteln, ein paar Teile vorstellen und ein Accessoires zeigen, dass in erschwinglichen Preislagen angesiedelt ist.

Zuerst die kommerzielle Kollektion von Tara Jarmon. Sie kreiste um schöne Tage Anfang der 70er in St. Tropez in The Hampton’s. Starke Farben, viel Seide, lässige Silhouette.

Und das Accessoires:  Die Nietensandalen. Farbe und Form ist gut. Preis wussten die noch nicht, aber Tara Jarmon ist in der Regel echt erschwinglich.

Nun zu Paule Ka. Designer Serge Cajfinger hat sich diesmal ein Baukastensystem ausgedacht. Die ganze Kollektion ist in Weiß, Schwarz sowie Puderfarben (mit ein paar wenige Farbakzenten) und kann wild durcheinander gemixt und kombiniert werden. Ein schwarzes Büstier zu Nude-farbenen Rollpulli zu weißen Rock mit schwarzer Leder-Rüschen-Schürze. Ziemlich genial.

Und das Accessoires (das oben ist auch schon eines, aber teuerer). Ich meine das da unten, den Klippgürtel. Einfachste Elasthan-Band mit Verschluss in verschiedenen Breiten, Farben, Längen, den man mehrmals um den Körper schlingen kann und der aber wohl nur ab 40 Euro kosten wird. Genau ist der Preis noch nicht festgesetzt.

Why have I never heard of Paule Ka before? This is one of the best labels I have ever come across, love love love it! There are so many pieces in the current a/w collection I would buy. Simple, tailored dresses and jackets kept in grey, black, white or red with dots of electric blue and adorned with bow details and clever gathering. Not to mention the towering black bondage heels. I am in awe.

Le week-end dernier ma très bonne amie Philomène a épousé mon bon ami Super Mario.

Je ne sais pas vous, mais moi ça me met toujours dans un état dingue les mariages de mes bons amis. Et si en plus j’ai l’honneur d’être témoin, c’est la cata, j’hésite entre le rire et les larmes d’émotion. Là j’ai vaillamment résisté, versé 2 petites larmes seulement, et plutôt passé la journée le week-end à sourire de bonheur.

Oui parce que ce n’est pas seulement une belle journée que les mariés nous ont offert, c’est un week-end – à rallonge – en Tourraine complet! Pour Mr Papillon et moi ça a commencé dès le vendredi, et ça ne s’est terminé que mardi matin. De vraies vacances…encore merci les jeunes mariés!!!

Vendredi a été passé à décorer, mettre en place, accrocher, se percher, ne pas se casser la figure, housser, fleurir, admirer, rassurer, et finalement savourer un délicieux dîner en famille avec les mariés à l’ombre d’une maison troglodyte comme on en trouve tant en Tourraine.

Samedi…samedi c’était le BIG DAY.
Commencé tout doucement dans les allées du parc du Château de Villandry. Si vous aimez les jardins vous devez aller voir ce château, ils sont sublimes, et une ôde à l’amour.
Tellement une ôde à l’amour qu’ils étaient aussi remplis de couples de mariés en train de se faire prendre en photo. Kitsch et ridicule garantis: 3 couples habillés quasiment pareil, prenant les mêmes poses dans le même jardin. A vous dégoûter de jamais vous marier.

Eh eh…il y a les mariés copiés-collés, et nos mariés à nous. Pas de longue meringue blanche pour la mariée. Plutôt du Nina Ricci en mousseline de soie, léger, léger et un style que la belle Marilyn ou ses copines n’auraient pas renié. Que tu étais belle ma Philomène!!!

Nous aussi nous nous étions faits beaux pour la noce. Pas de photo de Mr Papillon, mais disons juste que sa cravate et mes chaussures étaient faites pour aller ensemble…la cravate était malgré tout un peu moin bling-bling que mes chaussures que j’aime d’amour même si elles sont oranges.

Les mariés ont dit oui, nous avons fait des milliers de photos, très bien mangé, très bien bu (mais sans excès), dansé, ri, fait des discours, trois petits tours, et c’est toujours trop court…

Heureusement que dimanche a été une autre délicieuse journée, passée sur les pelouses du joli prieuré de Lavaray, à buller, buller, buller, au son des guitares, des rires des p’tits bouts et de conversations aussi légères que la robe de la mariée. Des vacances quoi! 
Nos bulles nous ont mené dans les allées du Château de Chenonceau (vous savez, le beau château qui fait pont aussi), ce beau château de femmes (Diane de Poitiers, Catherine de Médicis, entre autres) dont les jardins et le domaine sont une merveille verte où il fait bon se promener.

Et miracle! Nou sommes dimanche soir, et il ne faut pas prendre le train pour rentrer à Paris. Pas d’école demain, pas de blues du dimanche soir, lundi c’est le 14 Juillet!!!!!!!!
Nous sommes en Tourraine, Mr Papillon veut voir les châteaux de la Loire, nous allons donc à Chambord.

Aaaahhh Chambord….
Mon château préféré. Aussi masculin que Chenonceau est féminin, dont les jardins sont aussi sauvages que ceux de Chennonceau sont sculptés. J’aime ses immenses cheminées où flambent des troncs entiers pendant l’hiver, son sublime escalier pour amoureux (ou pour fans de cache-cache), sa jolie chapelle et ses toits couverts de cheminées et tourelles . Et j’adore son écrin de verdure.

A admirer à Chambord en plus du château et de son escalier, les beaux papiers peints anciens, Salami la salamandre et une chouette expo sur le tourisme et Chambord

Une très belle visite donc, suivie d’une escapade dans les vignes avant de rentrer à Tours pour un dîner en amoureux et le feu d’artifice. J’adore les feux d’artifice: tous ces gens avec des yeux d’enfants, le nez en l’air, le bruit des fusées qui partent dans le ciel, l’air qui s’enfume un peu, l’odeur de poudre qui finit par arriver jusqu’aux spectateurs, et toutes ces étoiles multicolores qui emplissent le ciel. C’est bon d’avoir 4 ans à nouveau.

Et mardi est arrivé, et il a fallu retourner travailler, avec cette étrange impression d’avoir été faire un tour dans une autre galaxie où on vit à son ryhtme, où on prend vraiment le temps de buller, de savourer l’instant présent et où le fil conducteur est un truc qu’on appelle l’amour. Ca fait tout bizarre et drôlement du bien. 

Le prochain grand week-end c’est le week-end du 15 Aout, alors si vous ne savez pas quoi faire, pensez à la Tourraine et à sa douceur de vivre.
