Shylah Ray Sunshine, from Canada, raises the vibration during Ecotopia, a festival that happened on the weekend of Oct. 22nd & 23rd in the golden hills of Ojai, Calif. The intention was to gather talented people that would bring consciousness to the community in many different levels. The love and kindness between each other were evident, leaving great memories of powerfull healing and growth moments.

You can find more of her songs at

Shine and his brother Evan Rilling, from Ojai Valley, California, are the creators of a new revolutionary game called Peace Sticks. Different from mainstream sports this practice is based in collaboration and friendship. By simply throwing sticks to each other, the players go into a deep meditation state, cultivating Inner Peace, Outer Peace And World Peace. Just as everything else on planet Earth the game also has its own cycle. The sticks come from nature and once they break they go back to nature, bringing absolutely no harm to our planet. It is a great way to establish connection and harmony between people, families, schools, groups and even organizations. It is also part of the tradition to light some white sage, bringing good energies, and to do tribal paintings on sticks and our bodies, since the brothers feel it may be an ancient game that has been brought to our realities again.
“I have a vision of people of all ages, all races, in all parts of the world, playing peace sticks, having fun and bringing our minds and bodies into focus..”, says Shine Rilling.

I feel really happy to help spread this seed. The game brings everything our new generation believes in: eco-friendly practices, union, cooperation and love.
You should try it! Take a walk in nature and find your own sticks. It will be a good experience, guaranteed!

You can find more information about the game on their website peacesticks.com/ and also on Facebook: Peace Sticks group

Peace Sticks

Similar to my dorm room, LaxUNation lacks that feminine touch, which is why we’ve been recruiting the NJ Divas to guest blog occasionally. Today, our guest blogger hails from the 203, but resides at Rose Hill, which is bizarre if you think about it. Fordham doesn’t have lacrosse, but they do enroll lax babes. Sammie is a babe who won’t tower over you, but her uncanny knowledge about the game and ability to rock a sun dress will leave your jaw scraping pavement. It’s official. Brittany, and the LU Diva’s have some competition.

What better way to promote world peace through global lax? I guarantee that if we just handed everyone in conflicts zones wands instead of guns, we’d be making some serious diplomatic moves. This new trippy women’s tee colorfully tells those checking you out to ‘Give Peace a Chance” in a very laxy way. A cool tee that is pretty dope in its super simple way. So, peace brahs, spread the lax.

PS: Tara who runs the show in Babylon played a big role in the design, so thanks for the input!
