Ha! I was just itching to write about it. Before purchasing it my dad was reading articles on the net and was not sure whether to go for it. But then available cameras were so limited … and another problem he read about was dust, dust which is abundant in India that he ruled out Canon which has protruding focus lenses.

Anyway he bought this one, and the first test image (mine) came out so good that we all forgot all we had read about. This was (as anyone could see) shot inside our drawing room with tubelights & camera flash, with the TV running in background. We got this camera to utilise it for the long tour of sea-side Ganapatipule, a beach-resort town. And believe me, the results were spectacular. It appears that reviewers get money from other manufacturers to downplay their rival’s products … so sad.

BTW I learnt quite a few things as I saw my dad adjusting the settings. With the Sony Ericsson in my possession, I got very few opportunities to use this one, but still I managed to shoot a few. Instead of adding them here, I will post them into a new “Post”.

I hate to be of 9 years age because no one allows me to carry either mobile or a camera along. But equally happy that I can throw tantrums that my parents can’t. They just look at me, take a deep breath, then look at each other with a wry smile. Why do they do that? Any answers?
