More falling off of the blogging wagon, three letters in one. Then tomorrow I think I’ll post two in one and I should hopefully be caught up on it. Life has been life, things have been changing, interviews happening but no callbacks yet.

Any ways, on with the show.

Day 5 — Your dreams

Day 6 — A stranger

Day 7 — Your Ex-partner/love/crush

Day 5-Your Dreams

I am slowly working to achieve you even as you change. The path to success is a somewhat tedious one at the moment, complete Bachelor of Arts, then a Masters for the basic foundation. I know that I think that I need a form of financial stability before I attempt you, well the larger yous.

I know what I want sort of. I know that my dreams have changed over the years, over the past couple of months and this reflects on how I have changed also. I know that deep down my biggest dream and defeating factor is that I want to be happy. That’s about it. And I want to be able to live with myself after the choices I’ve made to achieve my dreams.

Someday, hopefully one day soon, I will be closer to achieving bigger dreams. For now I am good with the smaller ones.

Day 6- A Stranger

I hope that if you approach me, be it at a bar or some place else, you refrain from saying something steeped in misogyny or just douchebaggery. If you are a large manly man, with a lifted truck and work in the oilfield, if you attempt to flirt with me I do not think it will go well. You see I am not as straight as you believe. In fact it is somewhat deceptive, as I come either really straight or as a butch. In reality I prefer to be labelled as queer. Yes, this may be slightly offensive to you, that I am not into you but honestly I would rather you know now than later.
It is probably nothing against you, this is just sort of a public service announcement.
Also if you’re one of my friends or aquaintences who asks me what my sexual preference or sexuality is, I would like to think that you’re willing yourself to believe I am as straight as you think. Or that you haven’t known as long or you don’t know me very well.
I don’t hide that much, instead I like to think that I have somewhat “good” camouflage.

Day 7-Your ex partner/love/crush

Wasabi.

You are probably doing well. I hope you figured out what was eating you so much when we dated and that you are happy with your marriage. I also hope that religion has not become a crutch for you; you seemed reasonably coherent and strong enough to deal with it.

By this point I hope you have your lyme under control. You appeared to be a little a bit more perky the last time I saw you. However you still seemed to be the status seeking douche who buys into societal norms, who has to have everything that society dictates. Do you have your white picket fence, with the 2.9 children, dog, cat and two cars in the garage? Have you climbed higher in your companies hierarchy?

I do not really care. You ended things badly and I do not believe that we would see anything even remotely eye to eye anymore. You have changed and so have I. You took the path more worn down by the steps of everyone else, I opted for the less picked path.
Who knows who’s right.

À Bientôt
