The infiltration of the Truth Movement by the henchmen (and -women) of the very same forces it tries to expose began long before Zeitgeist.
Some years ago (shortly after 9/11) Henry Makow wrote me about a guy called Brian Desborough whose book apparently labels every thinkable religious movement as “Illuminati.”
Upon googling him up I found an article of his (which he since seems to have withdrawn, probably since it exposed too obviously what side he is working for), in which he basically stated that the Bible including its God were cooked up by the Illuminati, basing his statement on such grounds as that he knew for a fact that there were no camels in the regions of the Old Testament during that period of time. Wow! Shattering evidence!

It sort of resembles the pitiful argumentation of Acharya S and Peter Joseph, the minds behind “Zeitgeist” in their recent attempt to refute their debunkers. Not much more than a lot of ho-hums and whining over the fabricated “fact” that the naughty Christians destroyed all their evidence…

I guess you can recognize these people by the tactics which they copy from their god, the father of lies, and one must never underestimate their boldness in stretching the truth to the most gruesomely thinkable extent.

Brian Desborough also appears to be one of David Icke’s sources, which perhaps explains why he seems to have gone totally bonkers, and has become one of those who make “conspiracy theorists” look like a bunch of loonies, which is precisely what the NWO-clique intends by planting their cuckoo’s eggs into the nests of the various branches of the Truth Movement.

If they can discredit the voices of truth trying to expose their shenanigans, the public is going to stay in their trance until they’re past the ever speedily approaching point of no return…

I could imagine that David Icke may have started off as a sincere seeker for the truth. But the quest for truth is a tricky little thing on which one has to stay determined to focus on accepting the truth and nothing but the truth, no matter how many shiny and scandalous temptations mark the path.

Personally, I am even leery of such supposed geniuses as Noam Chomsky, because no matter how much truth they bring out about “the other side,” by their public stance against God they’re implicating that man is the solution to his own problems, which is the same lie the NWO-camp has been telling ever since Cain and Abel (even though you must remember that that’s just another one of their staunchest lies, since they are the ones preparing the perfect solution for you, buddy!), and the Bible simply and unmistakably states that “the fool has said in his heart, there is no God,” no matter how “wise” whatever amount of groupies deem him.

When it comes to infiltration, people should not underestimate the Enemy of their souls. If he has done it with God’s very own people (both versions 1 and 2), then he’s also going to do it with the Truth Movement. “If you can’t lick’em, join’em” has been the Devil’s slogan latest since the 4th century.

What sort of hope and way out of the NWO dead end are people like Brian Desborough, Jordan Maxwell, Acharya S, Peter Joseph, David Icke and Noam Chomsky offering to the world? Especially those who decry Jesus as a fake, and claim that once the church and religion will have been wiped out, everything will be honky-dory?
- A miraculous rising up of all the good people in the world against all the bad people in the world, and they lived happily ever after?

Have we learned anything from history at all?

Lenin? Stalin? Mao? – And who will guarantee that the next head honcho is going to be that much better?

In fact, I can prophesy to you right now that he’s going to be the worst this world has seen yet, and that wonderful New Age you think you’re ushering in will turn on you as the worst nightmare of history!

“Imagine there’s no Heaven” sounded kind of cool in the 70s, but John Lennon knows better now.

Nobody’s saying that established religion has done any better than the big dictators from history. Yes, by and large, Christianity has been a disappointment.

But just use your brains for a second: Never in all of the history of mankind has there ever been any known process or force that would have produced one single shred of information from lifeless matter – no, not even billions of years of lucky coincidences could do that, if you study the carefully calculated odds.

So, what makes you think that the Gigabytes of information in every single one of the billions of cells your body consists of, (information that has been not only been encoded, but is being decoded by devices specially placed there in that tiny galaxy called a living cell for that purpose), all came about without an Author?

No wonder the Bible says you’d have to be an idiot not to believe in God.

And just the fact that we all think we would have been so much smarter and done it so much better than He doesn’t actually make us smarter.

If you could just put aside your self-righteous grudge against God long enough to be able to think clearly, things would actually begin to make some real sense!

But I guess many simply don’t want to believe it until they get to the end of their rope.
And that’s precisely where we’re headed.
Let’s see Who’s going to be standing at the other end to catch you when we get there…

Money poses limitations, not ability.

L’altre dia parlàvem de The Yes Men en l’article que enunciava la nova edició de Cine Ambigú, cicle que estrenarà la seva darrera proposta: The Yes Men Fix The World. Els presentàvem com un grup activista que utilitza els mitjans audiovisuals per dir les veritats que ningú s’atreveix a dir en veu alta; són una associació d’impostors, com ells mateixos diuen, que vol desemmascar els abusos de les empreses que fan diners amb una praxis totalment criticable i censurable.

Indagant en la seva biografia, observem com aquest grup va néixer amb la única intenció d’expressar la indignació que sentien amb l’actitud dèspota i inhumana de l’anomenada corporació. Un bon exemple és quan van aconseguir que les accions de la química Dow Chemichal baixessin 2 milions d’euros, després de que un tal Jude Finisterra, un yes man que es va fer passar per un executiu de Dow, reconegués la seva culpa en el cas Bophal. En aquest vídeo s’explica el cas:

The Yes Men, que dóna un cop de mà a qui creu necessari canviar el sistema i de pas, intenta despertar les ments anestesiades. Les dues pel·lícules que han fet fins el moment, The Yes Men i The Yes Men Fix The World, són dos clars exemples de crítica cap a les empreses que no coneixen cap límit alhora d’obtenir beneficis i de lucrar-se a qualsevol preu.

The Yes Men, Oliver Stone, Noam Chomsky, Serge Latouche, Enric Duran, The Black Angels, Michael Moore, John Pilger, Colin Beavan, Leonardo Di Caprio, Eco-Site, Concern Worldwide, Peter Joseph, Eerie Investigations i d’altres, cadascú a la seva manera, però tots amb una mateix missatge, ofereixen un altre punt de vista, totalment diferent a l’establert.

The Yes Men intenta despertar consciències, crear dubtes, i donar a conèixer qui domina el sistema i com el domina. És més senzill no pensar en res i viure amb el pilot automàtic encès, aliens a preocupacions que creiem que no ens afecten directament. Però si sou dels que considera que s’ha de canviar d’estil de vida, dijous 27 al Verdi Park podreu veure The Yes Men Fix The World.

Per acabar, un exemple de com empenyen a la gent a pensar per sí mateixos:

LONDON (Herald de Paris) - “They call me a dreamer,” told me industrial designer and author Jacque Fresco with a hint of surprise. At the end of the day he only wants to change the world.

For over forty years he has been challenging all kinds of authorities, be them political, religious or economic, saying out loud that our system is not working to make everybody happy and wealthy but is oppressive and unfair. Finding hard to respond with strong arguments, authorities prefer to boycott him or, at best, ignore him.

As a matter of fact, it’s by no means easy to respond to his attacks: Fresco, founder and director of the Venus Project (www.thevenusproject.com), and his associate Roxanne Meadows have scientifically proved that world’s resources are more than enough for everybody and that the elites in power are not using them properly, but instead causing poverty, injustice and one crisis after the other. Fresco’s and Meadows’ unapologetic call for revolution is being welcomed worldwide, increasingly after the economic downturn that has hit all countries and made the middle class the new poor.

“At the moment we are lecturing and explaining what the Venus Project is all about, and we hope to gather enough people to put it into practice in many countries,” explained Roxanne Meadows. “In the society we envision people would carry on with what they like to do, without the need to work ten hours a day, because resources will be available to everybody.”

But what about the next step? “The next step, after education” said Fresco, “is to do a global survey, to see what resources exist, what diseases exist, what arable fields we have. We need to do a survey of materials such as concrete, cement, wood, everything. After your survey you’ll know what is, for example in America, the capacity to build, and after we study what diseases dominate, AIDS, heart disease, we’ll know what to assign hospitals to work on, the dominant diseases. We assign that by survey, not what Fresco believes! After that we need to build the cities, designed to meet the needs of people that live there, not what the architect thinks.”

Jacque Fresco doesn’t believe there is shortage of resources and advocates for a society where human rights are a way of life instead of mere paper proclamations: “If we have a high-tech nation we can make replicates of materials we have shortage of. If we have a shortage of building materials, whatever it is, we work on other things, right away, not one lab, thousands of labs are assigned. For example, we have a lot of people in this area but not arable land, so we work on soil recycling buildings. And near the ocean we start working on materials suspended under the ocean in different layers of sole water cultivated food, loads of research in that area. See? We have a lot of things to do.”

What about energy? “People think of photoelectric cells” he retorted, “there are temperature differences in the ocean that can generate electricity. Under the earth there is the geothermal energy, enough for thousands of years. Then there is solar, wind power, wave power, underwater turbines, all energy generators we are not using efficiently. As long as this civilization goes on, it may come to a point of no return, then we can’t do anything, I can’t control that, I can only say today we can solve most of the problems.”

In a world where the elites in power control natural resources, wasting them and causing starvation to two third of the earth’s population, what can we do to prevent that? In a system where the erroneous belief of the scarcity of resources is used as a means to control the population, how do we force our political class to share abundant resources fairly? “We can’t,” Fresco answered, “we need the system to collapse, which is happening all over the world. If you belong to any clubs or any groups, run films on the Venus Project and then invite criticism, participation and read what the Venus Project has found in relation to human nature: if someone grew up in a house of abundance, they don’t even know what scarcity is and then a guy says ‘How would you like to run a political office?’ he answers ‘That’ll be nice’ so he’s elected but he doesn’t know a damn thing.”

Fresco doesn’t put any trust in the political class: “Politicians, not one of them, throughout American history ever gave us anything, like the electric light, air conditioning, agricultural improvement, education. No politician ever gave us anything except words. ‘Be nice and proud to be an American’: politicians say things people would like to hear, nothing to do with the truth.”

Jacque Fresco is the most revolutionary thinker of our times, he sees earth’s resources as common heritage of all its inhabitants and the current monetary system as corrupt and contradictory: “It’s shortage that makes the monetary system, but monetary system can’t exist if there is abundance. The things you learn in school,” he went on, “are things that will keep you working to keep the system go on, they don’t teach you how to think, how to relate, how to share ideas with people you disagree with, without getting mad. No people are civilized yet, as long as we have war, prison, police, we are not civilized.”

Does Fresco have the hope that the Venus Project will be soon realized? “I can’t answer that,” he said, “that depends on what people do, I have no power at all. It’s what people do that determines what the future will be. I heard saying that what I was doing will make the world a better place: if I was that way, I would be romantic. I don’t know what the future will be, nobody does, so you do the best you can, and that’s all you can do.”

Unlike intellectuals who only criticize the current system, Fresco offers practical and feasible solutions to our present problems, drawing a plan for a new society, based on human and environmental priorities. The resource-based economy envisioned by Fresco and Meadows emphasizes the intelligent use of modern technologies to ensure abundance for all, reducing humanity’s worst afflictions such as poverty, crime, homelessness.

Jacque Fresco very outspokenly points his finger against today’s society: “In this monetary system there’s no such a thing called democracy, we need to base the economy on resources instead of money. Every job is social, repetitive and as boring as hell, education is more propaganda than information. We’ve never tried to bring democracy to another country because we don’t even have our definition for democracy. What we need is to organize a society that makes everybody live at the very top level, a multidisciplinary society where people wouldn’t be stuck in one field.”

The Venus Project has inspired activists worldwide. In the UK the non-profit organization “The Venus Project Design” has recently launched its website www.thevenusprojectdesign.com with the aim to recruit volunteer architects, engineers, animators and scientists to work on the Venus Project, and movie director Maja Borg is shooting “Future For Sale,” documentary on Jacque Fresco and his suggested society.

Zeitgeist Addendum es la segunda parte del documental Zeitgeist que hace unos meses reseñé aquí y que toca temas tanto religiosos como políticos bastantes interesantes y en donde la controversia y las luchas de poder se hacen presentes de manera constante.

Dicho documental es de la autoría de Peter Joseph que magistralmente y de manera sencilla, nos muestra como los sectores de poder a nivel mundial manipulan el sistema para su provecho, creando ambientes de doble moral, y en donde el oportunismo impera.

Al igual que la primera parte lo recomiendo 100% y les aseguro que no tiene desperdicio.

Zeitgeist, o Filme (Zeitgeist, the Movie, no original) é um filme de 2007 produzido por Peter Joseph, aborda temas como Cristianismo, ataques de 11 de setembro e o Banco Central dos Estados Unidos da América (Federal Reserve).^[1] Ele foi lançado online livremente via Google Video em Junho de 2007.^[2] Uma versão remasterizada foi apresentada como um premiere global em 10 de novembro de 2007 no 4th Annual Artivist Film Festival & Artivist Awards.^[3]

Em 2 de Outubro de 2008 foi lançado um segundo filme, continuação do primeiro, chamado Zeitgeist:Addendum, onde se trata temas com a globalização, manipulação do homem pelas grandes corporações e instituições financeiras, e aborda a atual insustentabilidade material e moral da humanidade, apresentando o Projeto Vênus como solução para o problema.

O filme é estruturado em três seções:

• Primeira parte: “The Greatest Story Ever Told” (“A maior história já contada”) – Aos 00:13 min
• Segunda parte: “All The World’s A Stage” (“O mundo inteiro é um palco”) – Aos 00:40 min
• Terceira parte: “Don’t Mind The Men Behind The Curtain” (“Não se importem com os homens atrás da cortina”)- Aos 01:14 min*

Primeira Parte: The Greatest Story Ever Told (A maior história alguma vez contada)

A primeira parte do filme é uma avaliação crítica da religião com principal incidência no cristianismo. O filme sugere que Jesus seja um híbrido literário e astrológico e que a bíblia trata de uma miscelânea de histórias baseadas em princípios astrológicos pertencentes a civilizações antigas (Egito, especialmente). A atenção do filme se foca inicialmente no movimento do Sol e das estrelas, fato este que é uma das características das religiões “pagãs” (pré-cristãs). É então apresentada uma série de semelhanças entre a história de Jesus e a de Hórus, o “deus Sol” egípcio que partilha de todos os predicados do messias cristão. Há referência sobre o papel de Constantino na formação da Igreja e seus dogmas.

Segunda Parte: All The World’s a Stage (O mundo inteiro é um palco)

A segunda parte do filme foca-se nos ataques de 11 de setembro de 2001. O filme sugere que o governo dos Estados Unidos tinha conhecimento destes ataques e que a queda do World Trade Center foi uma demolição controlada pelo próprio Governo norte-americano. O filme assegura que a NORAD, entidade responsável pela defesa aérea dos Estados Unidos, tinha sido propositadamente baralhada no dia dos ataques com exercícios simulados em que os Estados Unidos estavam a ser atacados por aviões seqüestrados, justamente na mesma área dos reais ataques; mostra dezenas de testemunhas e reportagens que sugerem que as torres ruiram não por causa dos aviões, mas por explosões internas e sabotagens; demonstra as ligações entre a família Bush e a família Bin Laden, parceiros comerciais de longa data, entre outras teorias intrigantes e alarmantes acerca da política mundial atual.

Terceira Parte: Don’t Mind The Men Behind The Curtain (Não se importe com os homens por detrás da cortina)

A terceira parte do filme focaliza-se no sistema bancário mundial, que supostamente tem estado nas mãos de uma elite de famílias burguesas que detém o verdadeiro poder sobre todos os países a eles associados, e na sua conspiração para obter um domínio mundial total eles tem modelado toda a mídia e cometido diversos crimes, muitos deles encenações para fins ocultos. O filme denuncia que o Banco Central dos Estados Unidos da América foi criado para roubar a riqueza dos Estados Unidos e também demonstra, como exemplo, o lucro que foi obtido pelos bancos durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial, Segunda Guerra Mundial, Guerra do Vietnã, Iraque, Afeganistão, e a futura invasão à Venezuela para obtenção de petróleo e comércio de armamento. O filme descreve a conspiração destes banqueiros, argumentando que o objetivo deles é o controle sobre toda a raça humana através da implantação de um chip localizador e identificador através do qual todas as operações e interações humanas serão realizadas, escravizando por fim a humanidade. Estão secretamente criando um governo unificado, com exército unificado, moeda unificada, e poder unificado, e que servirá apenas aos interesses dessa elite. Segundo o filme, o aspecto mais impressionante disso tudo é que tais mudanças serão aceitas pelo próprio povo naturalmente, pois está sendo manipulado pela mídia, que distrai a população dos assuntos importantes e pertence à elite.

Informações tiradas do Wikipedia (acessado dia 1 de setembro de 2009). É um filme interessante que faz com que se pense muito a respeito de tudo que foi passado a você até hoje. Na minha opinião é uma quebra de paradigma em toda as histórias que você lê em livros, jornais, etc… Enfim, vale muito a pena conferir.

Rupert Wyatti täispikk debüüt laseb uskuda, et tal on ka tulevikus midagi öelda. Mõneti loodan, et mitte enam vangladraamas, see oleks potentsiaali ilmselge raiskamine. Filmi hoogsalt hüplev ülesehitus koos klappiva muusikaga on sobiv kaasaegse kino jaoks, aga teeb selliselt kompromisse, mida mitte alati filmiajaloos hiljem ei aktsepteerita kui kõrget kunsti. Filmikunsti selles siiski oli omajagu, sest koos muusika valiku ja rütmiga ehitati üles üha eskaleeruv lugu, mis vaheldub tuleviku, oleviku ja minevikuga (mitte tingimata üheski järjekorras). Kõik võtmes, mis ei lase keskenduda ning kõige sügavusest põhja võtta. Sellest rääkimata, et põnevuse reegel number 1, ära ütle kõigile kõike – on vaja ka siin lõpuni säilitada, vähemasti lavastaja/produtsendi arvates (teisi ei oska häbiposti paigutada). Seega lisandub filmiloosse hulk udujuttu ehk arusaamatust reaalsuse ja tegelikkuse vahel, millest ju teoorias vaatajad võidavad. Taseme erinevuse tõttu ikka. Sellest kõigest hoolimata olin klammerdunud kõigi iminappadega ekraani külge ja tahtsin sealt kõike endasse imeda. Nii soojendav oli vaadata, kuidas inimestel, kel pole lootust väljas, on lootus sees ning nad suudavad koos tegutseda, luua plaani ning sellest ka hälbida. Hälbimata samas oma unistusest. Vangladraama kohta võibolla liiga positiivne stsenaarium.

Näitlejatel paistis olevat kaunis lihtne seda kõike mängida ehkki nende repertuaarist ei tahaks ära võtta kõike tehnilist ja kokkumängulist saavutatut. Kuid kalasid tuleks siis ka hakata eraldi rookima. Võiks väita, et mitte kellelgi pole reaalset midagi muud olemas, kui unistus millestki väljaspool nende reaalsust, mida pole raske kokku võtta mõistega “vabadus”. Olgu see teie jaoks mida iganes. Kellel on vabadus, tõstke käsi!

Eerie Investigations | Peter Joseph on the growth and progress of The Zeitgeist Movement.

Peter Joseph, author of the controversial Zeitgeist films, has recently released an orientation documentary containing the principles, concepts, and tenets that characterize the activist movement he has started. The Zeitgeist Movement is the activist arm of The Venus Project of Jacque Fresco which promotes a resource based economy as an alternative to the monetary system in use today.

The video is 1.5 hours in length and a brief list of the concepts introduced in the video are as follows (also taken from the orientation guide in the Zeitgeist Movement website):

Part 1: Monetary Economics

The video demonstrates the concepts behind the current use of a monetary system and its flaws, mainly the use of cyclical consumption, scarcity, and the profit motive which results in a distortion of values and rampant crime. This section ends with the growing trend towards automation and outsourcing which ultimately undermines the reliance of a monetary economy on consumption.

Part 2: What is Relevant?

The video then elucidates the benefits of the scientific method and the concept of dynamic equilibrium. Then it furthers the general means to achieve the solutions to the current societal problems.

Part 3: A Resource-Based Economy

This part describes in detail the concepts behind a resource-based economy as championed by the Venus Project.

Part 4: Overcoming Mythology

The video then challenges the current misconceptions in place in society today that have held it back from development, namely the concept of human nature, legal systems, and religion.

Part 5: Taking Action

Finally the video is a call to action to join their movement and concrete steps to undertake.

The video is a lucid and thought-provoking thesis of society’s problems and a possible solution. Zeitgeist touches on some ideas we have put forth here in the past–especially regarding the financial system. Like all calls for panaceas, we will tackle Zeitgeist’s concepts critically in posts to come.

Zeitgeist es un documental escrito, dirigido y producido por Peter Joseph el año 2007, que tuvo una amplia difusión por Internet, en la web del proyecto y mediante Google Video; aunque fue grabado originalmente en inglés, es posible descargarlo del sitio web oficial con subtítulos en español. Al no haberse distribuido por los canales convencionales, no existen datos fiables acerca de cuánta audiencia ha tenido, pero el director del vídeo afirma que los documentales Zeitgeist han sido vistos por cincuenta millones de personas en todo el mundo desde su publicación gratuita en Google Vídeo en la primavera de 2007.

Contexto

El título, Zeitgeist, es una expresión alemana que quiere decir «espíritu de una época», aludiendo a la experiencia del clima cultural dominante. El comunicado del sitio web oficial declara que Zeitgeist, The Movie y su secuela Zeitgeist: Addendum fueron creadas como expresiones sin ánimo de lucro para comunicar lo que el autor siente que son conocimientos sociales muy importantes de los que la mayoría de humanos no son conscientes. Según el autor, el documental se centra, con información histórica y moderna suprimida, en las actuales instituciones sociales dominantes, al tiempo que explora lo que puede esperar a la humanidad, si las estructuras de poder en general, persisten en sus patrones de egoísmo, corrupción y consolidación.

Sinopsis

El documental está estructurado en tres partes. La primera es una exposición del cristianismo como un mito, un híbrido astrológico-literario. Este mito, argumenta el documental, constituye el terreno abonado sobre el que pueden funcionar nuevos mitos en los que las masas crean ciegamente y así ser manejados con mayor facilidad. La segunda parte, analizando los atentados del 11-S, expone el funcionamiento de la propaganda y adoctrinación mediática, logrando que los propios ciudadanos acepten ser más controlados por sus gobiernos pese a que eso suponga una reduccion de sus libertades. La tercera sección habla sobre la política y economía global, enfocándose en el monopolio del dinero (junto a la especulación financiera) y el gasto militar.

Primera parte: La historia más grande jamás contada

En la primera parte del documental se describen las similitudes que existen entre los mitos de distintas religiones antiguas con el cristianismo. Para ello el documental compara elementos extraídos de la Biblia y de la posterior tradición católica romana con descripciones de dioses de otras civilizaciones anteriores al cristianismo, principalmente de la mitología egipcia, llegando a la conclusión de que la figura de Jesús es una copia de diversos mitos heredados de dichas religiones.

Se hace hincapié en que ciertos atributos de mitos anteriores fueron copiados y atribuidos por los primeros cristianos a la figura de Jesús de Nazaret. El documental sugiere que la figura mitológica de Jesús de Nazaret se corresponde, como la de Mitra y Horus entre otras deidades paganas anteriores y contemporáneas a la suya, con la de un Dios solar. Jesús sería el Sol, figuradamente, el que es «visto venir desde los cielos», «andando sobre el agua», etc. La muerte y resurrección del Dios Sol se corresponde con el solsticio de invierno: durante el mismo el Sol (el Dios Sol – Jesús) llega el día 22 a su punto más bajo, muere, en las vecindades de una conocida constelación llamada la Cruz del Sur. El sol detiene su viaje por tres días (al menos aparentemente) hasta que otro grupo de estrellas bien conocidos, el Cinturón de Orión («las tres Marías» o como se les llamaba en la antigüedad «los tres reyes»), apuntan hacia la salida del Sol, su resurrección, en la mañana del 25 de diciembre. Simbólicamente hablando: El Dios Sol ha muerto en la Cruz para luego de tres días volver a la vida.

Posteriormente el documental plantea que la mayoría de las religiones comparten los mismos rasgos mitológicos, atribuyen las mismas características a sus dioses, indicando que las primeras religiones se formaron mediante la observación del cielo, y explicando la relación que se puede observar entre la astrología y las religiones. También señala otros mitos compartidos, con paralelismos entre el Diluvio universal y la leyenda de Gilgamesh, y varios ejemplos de mitos similares a la historia de Moisés en las culturas de la India, Creta y Egipto.

Finalmente plantea que la Iglesia, como institución vinculada al poder desde el Imperio Romano, ha usado la figura de Cristo como justificación para reprimir y manipular las sociedades.

Segunda parte: Todo el mundo es un escenario

En este capítulo se afirma que los ataques del 11S en Nueva York y los atentados del 7 de julio de 2005 en Londres fueron en realidad perpetrados por algún grupo de poder de EE. UU. Según el autor, se trataría de una operación de bandera falsa encaminada a conseguir el beneplácito de la sociedad estadounidense para iniciar las reformas necesarias que permitirían el comienzo de una serie de invasiones de puntos estratégicos como son Afganistán, Iraq e Irán.

Tercera parte: No prestes atención a los hombres detrás de la cortina

En el último capítulo se detalla la abolición del Banco Central de EE.UU y el nacimiento de la Reserva Federal, la evolución del sistema monetario y por último los supuestos fines de los hombres detrás de la cortina, grupo organizado de poder formado por las grandes fortunas mundiales, que irían desde la creación de la Unión Norteamericana e implantación de chips RFID en todas las personas del planeta, hasta la declaración de un gobierno mundial.

Es el capítulo donde se explica que los postulados del segundo capítulo forman parte de una serie de acontecimientos históricos planificados, entre los que se incluyen la caída de la bolsa de 1929 (el llamado Jueves Negro) y la consecuente Gran Depresión y el ataque japonés a Pearl Harbor que propició la entrada de Estados Unidos en la Segunda Guerra Mundial entre otros, mezclado con proyecciones sobre sucesos futuros específicamente en el tema de la geopolítica.

En efecto, la manipulación de la sociedad a través de la generación de miedo y división ha desvinculado completamente a los seres humanos de su sentido del poder y la realidad. Este proceso ha ocurrido durante siglos, si no milenios: la religión, el patriotismo, la raza, la riqueza, clase y cualquier otra forma de identificación arbitraria y separatista, así concebida ha servido para crear una población controlada y totalmente maleable en manos de unos pocos. Divide y vencerás es el lema. Y mientras la gente siga viéndose a sí misma desvinculada de todo lo demás, se presta a ser completamente esclavizada.
Los hombres detrás de la cortina lo saben y también saben que si la gente se da cuenta de su verdadera relación con la naturaleza y su verdadero poder personal, todo el zeitgeist manufacturado del que son presos (la gente), se derrumbará como un castillo de naipes.

No recuerdo ni siquiera cómo me enteré de la conferencia que Peter Joseph daría en Londres. La entrada me costó ocho libras. Nada, si lo comparamos con los exorbitantes precios a los que a veces hay que acostumbrarse viviendo acá. Todo fue muy fácil, en menos de 5 minutos ya tenía comprado y asegurado mi lugar. Esto por supuesto fué destinado para cubrir los gastos del viaje de Peter.

La conferencia tendría lugar en Goldsmiths University of London, no tenía idea donde quedaba, pero encontrar el bus apropiado no sería problema. Al llegar, vi varios posters, en las paredes de las puertas lo que me indicó que estaba en el lugar correcto. Una serie de flecha puestas en las paredes de los pasillos o a veces en el suelo de los corredores me ayudaron a llegar hasta el auditorio. Estando allí, solo di mi nombre y listo. Me ofrecieron ambas películas de Zeitgeist cada una en un CD, y me informaron que una copia de la guía de orientación activista estaría en frente de cada asiento del auditorio.

Básicamente la presentación fue basada en la Guía de orientación activista. También Peter hizo unas anotaciones muy importantes con relación a la crianza de los niños, y la importancia de la educación en etapas tempranas del desarrollo humano, que fueron aplaudidas por el publico.

Peter Joseph es un tipo común y corriente, como el mismo dijo. Lo vi acercarse a la tarima unos 20 minutos antes de empezar, ajustando el sonido, y la resolución del proyector, ayudando con las cámaras. Muy normal, muy bacano el tipo. Nos contó que cuando hizo la primera película, la gente le mandaba correos preguntándole ¿qué hacer? El no tenía ni idea, y empezó a preguntárselo también. Dio con el Proyecto Venus y con Jacque Fresco, como si fuera una Epifanía. Nos dijo además que no quería que el movimiento fuera algo centralizado, que le gustaría ver más gente haciendo películas sobre este cambio social, que él solo era un “tipo común y corriente” y que todo esto empezó para él como un proyecto personal, nada pretencioso -incluso tomo muchas de los contenidos audiovisuales sin permiso-, y simplemente lo subió a Google Video como mucha gente hace.

Yo tenia muchas ganas de poder hablar de Gaviotas, teniendo el cuenta la cantidad de personas que verían este video en todo el mundo. Peter, mientras respondía otra pregunta, implícitamente respondió en parte mi pregunta. Yo alcé la mano todo el tiempo esperando poder hacer mi pregunta, y finalmente cuando tuve el micrófono, uno de los organizadores del evento me dijo que desafortunadamente el tiempo se había acabado y ya no podrían atender mas.

La pregunta era: qué pensaba él y Jacque Fresco de si sería vital para la transición intentar alejarse de las ciudades -para que el sistema tuviera menor control sobre nosotros- para poder hacer aldeas como Gaviotas en donde hacer investigación y construir modelos de sostenibilidad donde la gente pudiera ver pruebas de que una sociedad así sí era posible, y de este modo, teniendo una red de estos centros de investigación que trabajaran sincronizadamente, poder constituir un base real para la transición. Personalmente creo que ésta sería una buena forma de empezar con algo, teniendo algo tangible, y al mismo tiempo promoviendo la educación y la conciencia. Se trata de mostrarle a la gente alternativas reales al modelo de sociedad que tenemos actualmente.

Los asistentes eran de muchos lugares. Escuché italianos, alemanes, un señor latino (por la pregunta que hizo relacionada a latinoamerica), la señora de al lado con quien me puse a hablar era de Polonia, en fin. Bueno, es que de por sí, en Londres hay mucha gente de todo el mundo. Había estudiantes, personas mayores, unos que parecían ser profesores universitarios; muchas edades mezcladas. Aun así creo que uno de los más jóvenes, si no el más joven, era yo.

Hubo buenas preguntas, pero también algunas algo alejadas de la realidad, muy hipotéticas, cosas que a veces me parecían algo irrelevantes. Esto por supuesto solo es mi punto de vista. Sin embargo supongo debe haber espacio para cualquier pregunta, ya que se trata de no ser excluyente de ninguna manera. Peter las respondió todas, enfocándolas un poco.

Llegando el final de la conferencia se sugirió la posibilidad de vender camisetas y así recoger fondos para el sostenimiento de las paginas web. Peter expresó que no le gustaría hacer eso porque la gente empezaría a dudar de lo que el proyecto propone. Por eso se había negado muchas veces a poner publicidad en el sitio web del movimiento, aun cuando el dinero que traería bastaría para mantener lo que cuesta el dominio y el mantenimiento de la pagina. Sin embargo parece que resolvieron hacerlo según lo muestra la sección de apoyo, en la pagina del movimiento.

Finalmente, un fuerte aplauso llenó el auditorio. Mientras todos salían, algunos otros se acercaban a Peter para charlar, el joven organizador del evento, Mark Bass, de Italia residente en Inglaterra, nos despidió y agradeció por todo el apoyo y por haber hecho esto posible, entre todos.

Being a follower of Scott Kurtz’s PVP, I’ve subscribed to the comic’s site and I view everything Kurtz posts. The motivational speaker whose video is featured on his site, now, had some interesting ideas to bring forth, in a round-about way of proposing the idea that the collective human subconscious is more responsible for creativity than any individual, which goes along with my understanding that we are all connected with everything around us in ways we refuse to acknowledge, generally speaking, as a society.

This society of men and women who turn away from our connections to the Earth, Sun and moon, find no bond between the human individual and the human collective, and see everything around themselves in relative to its shorthand uses and hindrances is what we’ve allowed humanity to be ruled by, within our own minds. It isn’t difficult to see through the conventions that this novelist used in her speech to relay the ancient and enticing idea that I take for granted as truth: creativity is not a product of the individual alone. These conventions of “spiritual connections” and “divinity” that she alludes to is the same set of misguided conventions that invented beliefs in embodied deities, who were all once just poetic expressions of the source of life (the Sun) darkness (forces polar-ly opposing the natural occurrences that kept us alive and healthy) health (a connection and understanding of our origin from combined elements and conflicting energies) and the mind itself. She is very well onto something, but harnessing that something and cutting it free of its fatal confines within a religious perspective will benefit the human understanding, and bring it closer to the truth.

After I’d finished watching her speak, dad asked if I knew anything about what she’s written. I haven’t the slightest clue who the hell she is, let alone what she’s written, and it baffles me why any of that should impose on my desire to listen and learn from my fellow human beings. It feels like he’s so fucking deluded to the value of communication and expression. These are things that our souls thrive on! (That is an easy way of saying that without communication and expression between humans, its race is doomed to fall short of its potential rapidly. I’d love to take the Peter Joseph route on this point, and refer to a story about a king raising isolated children who died without human interaction, but I can’t remember it very well and I don’t feel like going through the trouble of finding anything more than its synopsis, which is more than enough to voice my thoughts.)
No offense to Miss Gilbert, but I really don’t care who she is, and that’s perfectly fine as long as the message she gets out is listened to. Hunter Thompson never had that kind of luck, with so many people caring more about his public image than his public message, man. This is a more substantially justified fear than not being noticed at all: being noticed for the wrong reason.

Over the past few meetings it has become clear that there is some interest in the idea of building the first Resource Based Economy research centre/test city. To pursue this initiative, the Barrie, Toronto and Ontario Zeitgeist Movement chapters are planning to take a tour of Whole Village Eco-Community at 1 pm on Sunday August the 2nd. This is a great opportunity to see an Ecovillage in action and to learn what would be involved in starting a research centre/test city of our own.

I have heard great things about Whole Village, they have a successful farm operation and have built impressive accommodations using green building techniques. The tour starts at 1 pm and should go to 3 or 4 pm, then we can sit and meet as a group for another hour or so if we like. The tour costs $10 per person and includes snacks and refreshments.

It is close to Orangeville, they say it’s about a 1-hour drive from downtown Toronto and about the same from Barrie. There are car-pooling options from Downtown and Barrie – let us know if you have a car you can take a few people in.

Encontré en la red este documental intitulado “Zeitgeist”, escrito, dirigido y producido por el norteamericano Peter Joseph en el año 2007. Su difusión fue por Internet y Google videos, por lo que no fue transmitido por los canales convencionales de comercio.  Su autor afirma que el video lo han visto alrededor de 50 millones de personas alrededor de todo el mundo, pues en la página oficial hay versiones gratuitas en varios idiomas.

La palabra zeitgeist es un término de origen alemán que podría traucirse algo así como “espíritu de una época” , y este excelente documental retrata con inteligencia el clima cultural y social que domina nuestra era.

Mister Joseph’s podcast is interesting, and inspiring, and though he uses it to speak for the Venus Project, I’ll keep taps on his bi-weekly cast while distancing myself from the Project itself. Learning Zeitgeist’s stance over time and observation is definately more beneficial than unquestioningly subjecting myself as a follower, for now.
He certainly seems to believe in his message, and only time can tell me whether he’s worth investing my trust, which is a thing he says is unnecessary for such an evolved form of humanity, and I’d like to agree with him.

The connections between the Zeitgeist films and the Venus Project are presented outright by the message of the second Zeitgeist release, as Peter Joseph apparently serves as the coordinator of the active branch of Fresco’s futurist project known as the Venus Project. The outright denouncement of money’s value and corruption is something that I admire and accept with open arms, but this message seems to clash with the “store” section of the Venus Project site, which allows visitors the option to buy Jacque Fresco’s books and DVDs, though the same material can be viewed online for free. Am I to accept that these acts of charity are merely that, or can I safely assume that something is out of place?

I’m still fresh in my investigation, and I want more than anything to believe that Fresco’s intentions are to the benefit of the human race, altogether, but a single doubt can lead to larger and bolder divisions between visionary and activist, which seem to have been the same divisions between representative and banker, in their own infancy. This is not a connection that I feel comfortable implying, so believe that my doubt is as heartfelt as the pride that I’d found after having seen both Zeitgeist films.
No matter what I find out, and decide on the matters of futurist Fresco and his propaganda, know that I am still on humanity’s side, which is my own side, your side, and the side of everyone I love. It doesn’t matter what individual person or organization I support, the only matter of importance is that I support the values that I see great and admire about humanity as a whole.
It’d feel damn good to know that I can be supported by those with a great following, but it’s nothing when their goals contradict my own: our own.

Had he not informed of the existence of these films, I would be in the dark over whether or not my “realizations” on the seat of power in the world today are shared by anyone else alive. My ideas have always been sketchy, and in the constant presence of those who argue the invalidity of my ideas, have been incomplete. Peter Joseph’s Zeitgeist documentaries have given voice to thoughts that I thought unspeakable. When I enter conversation on the subject of our role as humans in the world, I’ve been scoffed at, looked at in awe, and insulted in the most demoralizing ways, and I always play into the role of the failing revolutionary, giving all of my friends and family the benefit of living their lives without asking a single question about the importance of their own submission, and the harm they cause everyone else by this…

Of course, it may seem that I am trying to give myself a little more credit than is due, since I’d just seen the films, and they are very easily treated as propaganda. To this frame of mind in the reaction to my statements, I say:
It doesn’t matter if I came up with my ideas before or after viewing accused propaganda, the point of realization is that it was my decision to make, as it is anybody’s, and the only imposition being made by thinking of me as a victim is the harm done by those who think they’re doing good by thinking of ANYBODY as a victim who believes in the decisions being made by an individual who thinks openly, freely, and without consequence…
I’ve yet to investigate Peter Joseph’s movement, so I cannot say whether the propositions of his films for said movement’s success are beneficial to a minority, but I am certain that despite the true intentions of his movement, the message of his films are very clear, and can easily be detached from any organization posing as what it is not, and used as a guide for a movement for equal benefit to all of humanity, seeing as I can draw the same conclusions as Mister Joseph, my American History teacher, and every assassinated government leader and literary revolutionary who ever died to oppose that which destroys the value and progression of humanity, and as long as we are all capable of reaching these conclusions, then it is beyond a single man’s role in getting the message across. Before even considering joining this movement, I know, right now, that I am supporting the fundamental rights that humanity owes itself by acknowledging that I have these ideas, showing them to others, and letting people know that they are much more to me than the physical power that they can provide a dying system, as I expect the same degree of respect and love from others.

I recommend that everyone view these films. Take in the message, and decide for themselves. I’ve offered to do this by voice, many times, in class rooms and public locations, but it seems that Mister Joseph’s voice is preferred than mine. That’s fine, as long as you recognize what I am telling you through his words. These are words I tell my dearest friends, who look at me in pity for not following the same pointless routines that they do, my teachers, who defend their ideas like children defend a toybox from bullies in another class, my parents, who think that there is something for me to lose in choosing to agree with anybody but themselves, and to me, who was a damn fool for ever thinking that I was alone, and felt so powerless to the things that look so big from far away, who sometimes contemplated suicide as the only escape from the immense depravity that everything that I love can be seen struggling under the weight of, and…

I’m getting a bit emotional. Few of you read my blog. Those few of you may not recall my zealous rants in person. To those who do, I recommend viewing, once more, so that you understand my frustration without hearing my message escape in a cracking voice. I love you all, despite what you may think, because of the behaviors I’ve adopted in anger, but I do.
