At times it felt like it was dragging on forever, and now that I’ve reached 60 days I don’t feel like much has changed.  I’m actually looking forward to 100 days.  I would however, like to revel in a few thoughts that will make me smile today:

1.  I will never have to deal with Mickey Mouse again.  No yearly vacations to the not-so Magical Kingdom.

2.  No more back shaving.  Vom.

3.  No more flossed food particles all over my bathroom mirror.

4.  No more finding a #2 in the toilet because someone “forgot to flush.”

Well that feels better.  Ahhh what a relief that is.

No joke though – the he-tox was tough.  I am stronger than I ever thought I could be.  The last day I saw him, I told him I was deleting his number and I never looked back.  The he-tox served it’s purpose and I have no desire to contact him or see him.  I have nothing to say to him.  Done and done sir.

I’m planning a party this weekend to celebrate this major milestone.  I have to give a huge thank you to all my friends (and Mom) for supporting me the last few months.  I would have never made it without my girls checking on me daily.  Thanks to Mom, Sister, Margarita, Special K, Slululemon, A&A, Father Friend, and Life Coach (just to name a few).

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… and incredibly fucking bitter.

Semisal, bagaimana kalau ternyata sang pangeran seorang gay, hmmm…. pasti menarik. Dan secara kebetulan, gue nemu gambar-gambar pangeran-pangeran yang setelah dipermak sedemikian rupa, akhirnya menjadi pangeran yang “pangeran” banget….arrggghhh!!!!

Hmmm… percaya kan kalo mereka-mereka akhirnya terlihat “gay”"??? Well, dari semua “pangeran impian” di atas, mana yang kau idam-idamkan…..???    

Hadeeeh… Si Flynn Rider ini gak banget deh… kostum abad pertengahan tapi “stripper” banget jadinya…

Totally cong!!!! Masih mending Si Flynn ketimbang si Edward ini deh…. Walopun sama-sama ada Enchanted-nya…. tapi gue lebih respect sama mas-mas di Enchanted/Rapunzel….

Tetap ajah sih, “Serem”nya….. hihihihihiiii………

Shortly after I was dumped by Peter Pan, I decided to resort to self-help books.  “It’s Called a Break-up Because It’s Broken” got me past a lot of emotional road blocks and led me to the direction of being the Super-fox I knew was hibernating deep down all along.  The author recommends going through a 60 day “He-tox,” which boils down to no contact whatsoever with the shithead that broke your world apart.  I decided to try this he-tox out, and I can proudly say I’m currently 50 days Peter Pan-less.  They give no recommendation as to what you do after 60 days, but I assume you get to that point and no longer give a rip about your ex.  I will give an update in the next 10 days, but I have to give credit to my friends Ambien and Klonopin for getting me through the last 50 days.  One day at a time…

Theatre photography is something I’ve been toying with for a long time now, even though it was the hardest thing i have ever shot, and i pushed my old Canon 400d (need a upgrade) to its limits, it confirmed for me this is what i want to do. I’m going to post to small sets of photos. One black and white backstage set, from my 1970 35mm Chinon camera (I’ve left the dust, scratches and watermarks on the images, i like the effect.), which i am very new to using so the pictures aren’t perfect but thats what i like about them, and the other a colour set shot on my Canon400d.

Some people even get words that inspired them tattooed on them.

I came across this neat post today by a woman who is inspired by words: A Permanent Relationship With Words: Literary Tattoos and I just had to share it with you all.

It amazes me that as a writer, I could potentially write something one day, that people would want to tattoo on themselves. We all could. It’s a bit of a mind-boggling concept. It makes me wonder how many people have tattooed themselves with Harry Potter quotes or images, or Shakespeare, or Jane Austen, or e.e. cummings. How many teenagers of today will do it with Twilight quotes, or The Hunger Games. I can see it now. Millions of Mockingjay images tattooed around the world, after all… it is now a literary symbol of freedom from suppression for anybody who has read those books.

I like the idea of writing something in permanent ink on myself. There is a Shakespeare quote that I have always loved: What’s past is prologue. Definitely a quote that I can see myself getting one day. I like the fact that I could have it in white ink even more. You wouldn’t see it in Winter on me, but it would show up nicely in Summer. I suppose it would be more like a part-time tattoo.  And if I didn’t want it anymore, I would just have to make sure I didn’t get a tan.

Anyway – have a look at this amazing little tattoo site – The Word Made Flesh. It’s an entire site of literary inspired tattoos. You never know… Some of your words may end up on that site one day. Now how awesome would that be?
