Ormai è da un bel po’ che seguo Heroes, devo dire anche con una bella pausa lunga perchè ultimamente era un po’ “scagato”…ma poi non ho resistito e sono ritornata a seguirlo, in contemporanea con l’America adesso

E tra tutte le abilità che hanno i vari personaggi, devo dire che ce n’è una ultimamente che mi ha particolarmente colpito per la sua originalità…e perchè è romanticissima

Dopo l’abilità di poter volare di Nathan Petrelli, la potente elettricità di Elle, o il potere di assorbire la paura, di diventare acqua e ghiaccio, di rigenerarsi come la cheerleader, di leggere nel pensiero come Parkamn, che sono bene o male abilità che tutti sognano di avere, o che comunque sono nell’immaginario collettivo, sono apparse ultimamente altre abilità simpatiche…

Come ad esempio quella della bella Lydia (che vedete qui sotto mentre Sylar mi tradisce con lei ) di creare tatuaggi premonitori (or something like that), o quella del “padrone del circo” di gestire l’inchiostro come vediamo nella puntata Ink…

Ma c’ quella della nuova ragazza entrata nel cast da poco, Emma, che mi ha lasciata senza parole.

Emma è sorda, non sente nulla e riesce a parlare a stento, ma anche se non riesce a sentire con le orecchie…riesce a “vedere” i suoni.

Ogni suono per lei ha una curvatura morbida e un colore nello spazio che la circonda, per cui un applauso, come qui, prende tutte le sfumature del celeste, e la avvolge in questa nuvola colorata.

E’ sicuramente l’abilità che mi ha colpito di più fino ad oggi…

E voi? quale abilità vi ha colpito di più?

¿Qué está pasando en “Héroes”? Muchos se hacen está misma pregunta ya que no hace mucho tiempo han surgido rumores que catapultaban a la serie a un final efímero. Pero las audiencias ponen el punto claro, y parece ser que “Héroes” sigue siendo un gran referente en NBC.

Y aunque los datos han descendido bastante respecto a otras temporadas, hay que recordar que es la serie más descargada de Internet y que otras series que se han estrenado este año no han elevado esos datos. Así que opino que la serie no corre ningún peligro de ser cancelada, no por ahora. Y menos después de confirmar los 19 capítulos que se emitirán esta temporada.

El caso es que la muerte vuelve a rondar por el cast de “Héroes”. Muchos son los personajes que han ido desapareciendo a los largo de las temporadas, pero parece ser que esta vez será de verdad uno que se mantiene desde la primera. Por ahora, como es totalmente obvio, no se conoce la identidad del susodicho pero al menos desde los foros y personas mas destacadas de este mundillo se dice que es un personaje masculino.

Algo totalmente corriente si pensamos que Claire, Tracy y mama Petrelli están dando mucho juego esta temporada, y son los personajes fijos desde la primera. Como chicos, pues yo pondría en la ruleta rusa a Sylar/Nathan, Hiro o Mohinder. Matt no creo que corra mucho peligro, al igual que Peter o Ando que no tienen mucho que perder.

Sin embargo los anteriores son personajes que han ido perdiendo gancho, sobre todo Hiro (por el que yo apuesto) o Mohinder que ha desaparecido en los primeros episodios de la cuarta temporada o Sylar/Nathan para saber quien se queda al final con la personalidad perdida de Sylar, si Nathan o el mismo. Parece ser que antes de que nos demos cuenta el misterio se resolverá, pero yo os pregunto ¿Quién creeis que sobra en la serie? ¿ de quien podemos prescindir?

I am surprised that I am actually thinking this, but this episode was not that bad. It was interesting, it had some great scenes, it was not predictable and it was entertaining. Claire’s story was not simply stupid and it opened some good storylines for the series and in one of her scenes they even used the song Grapevine Fires by Death Cab For Cutie, which gives her a gizzilian more points. The best storyline evidently was the one revolving around Sylar and Matt, which still weirds me out considering how much I used to hate Matt. It also seems like they decided to give out more Sylar scenes because he is just so cool. The fact that he managed to manipulate completely Matt was awesome and Sylar holding a pink bunny has never been more manly!

It’s been awhile since I watched this episode to be honest, but even if that does make it harder for me to write this post, it helps in mentioning how this episode pulled off the good afterthought that a series needs to have. If later on when I think back about an episode and it just doesn’t seem that great, then series can’t really hold up for me. It also seems like we have a new character introduced as well. It is some deaf girl who likes cats and she can see sound. I do not really see what her role will play in the series, but I can already tell how her power may be useful for future episodes about anything.

Anyway, Ink boy is also pretty cool with what he does. His interaction with Milo in this episode was good and I wonder if they will ever hang out more. Though, Ink boy seems pretty pissed at some people, which can be seen when he completely destroyed that person’s house. I mean, they were having a party, he could have came the next morning, but I guess the woman did not treat him with much respect either…I do not really understand why he can move the ground at will, but also control ink, the two powers do not really go hand in hand after all. Anyway, form what I heard about the next episode, it seems it will still have some Sylar (yay!), but no Hiro. I guess there is a big lack of Hiro because his storyline can only go so far…Well, let’s hope tonight’s episode is just as great as this one!

En fin, de nuevo ha tenido la “leche” de visitas el post de Anatomia de Grey, así que “sus” pongo aquí la nueva temporada de Heroes (también por Darkville y por Descarga Directa, y por si alguno no lo sabía, en VOSE)

After a disappointing season 3, “Heroes” is back and it is still unclear whether or not the new year will redeem the rapidly declining show. The first episode seemed to be travelling down the same, slow-moving road, where the characters are still struggling with the exact same problems as they have been for the entire show. Claire is still trying to keep her real identity at bay; Noah is still lying to people and is conflicted about the new company once again; Angela is still controlling everything from the outside; Hiro and Ando are still having problems with time travel; Matt Parkman is still trying to deny who he really is so he can live like a normal human; and Peter Petrelli is once again running away from everyone. Not to mention the fact that Tracy is brought back AGAIN, so ridiculous.
I do like some of the new characters, but it might take a few episodes to see if they were actually worth bringing into the show. Overall, I’m very skeptical and might be kicking this show to the curb after episode three or four due to the lack of a decent storyline and the repetition of that storyline. The pace will need to pick up considerably in order to keep the audience from falling asleep. Although I guess it won’t be a total waste, it will give families and friends an extra hour every Monday to catch up on each other’s lives or work on their taxes.

La próxima temporada de Héroes se estrena el próximo 21 de septiembre. Para esta ocasión, se estará abriendo con un especial de una hora completa, en donde se develaran algunos nuevos misterios, y algunos de  los personajes enfrentarán experiencias que cambiarán sus vidas para siempre. Por lo pronto, y en lo que esperamos, tenemos aquí les dejamos los vídeos promocionales.

Hoy, como me veo inspirado escribiendo (¿serán las lágrimas de San Lorenzo?) voy a hablaros sobre las series que se avecinan a la vuelta de la esquina. Y si alguno aún no lo sabe, para mí la mejor estación es el otoño, así que, ¿por qué no empezarlo viendo buenas series?

Empezamos con Sobrenatural (Supernatual en inglés). Esta serie ya va a empezar su quinta temporada en estados unidos. Empezará el 17 de septiembre en The CW. Si alguien aún no la ha visto, le recomiendo hacerlo. La fotografía de la serie es genial, el argumento quizá un poco repetitivo, pero House lo es y nadie dice nada, ¿no?. En cuanto a la trama, podría resumirse en que son dos hermanos que trabajan en el negocio familiar. Este es cazar cosas sobrenaturales, muertes misteriosas y cosas por el estilo. En España, tendremos la cuarta temporada en AXN el 31 de Agosto. Si alguien no la ha visto… ya sabe

Seguimos con otra serie que no puede faltar los fines de semana y que me tiene enganchado desde la primera temporada. Y es que ya son nueve las temporadas que Smallville. El 25 de Septiembre será cuando la 9ª temporada se emita en The CW. Al parecer no será la última temporada de la serie del, ya no tan joven Superman. Uno pez gordo de The CW ha dicho que la décima temporada parece estar asegurada! Mejor para mí, por supuesto jeje. ¿La historia? Simplemente cómo vive de joven su vida el mítico super héroe: Superman. En España no sé por qué temporada van, ni me interesa, realmente… a esta serie la han tratado muy muy mal en general, tanto en FoxTV España como en Televisión Española, aunque hay que decir que mucho peor ha sido en TVE.

Continuamos con otra de mis series míticas: Héroes. Alguno estará pensando que la tercera temporada fue una caca, sí, es posible. Pero sólo el vol. 3, el vol. 4 fue genial, a medias jijiji. Lo malo de la nueva temporada, que vuelve el 24 de Septiembre, es que hay cosas del tráiler que no me gustan mucho (atención a spoilers…) Por ejemplo, que Claire se morre con una tía.. ahora va a ser lesbiana??? Anda ya! A ver cómo van los capítulos…

Y aunque me gustaría seguir hablando de más y más series que espero este otoño… es hora de cortar, Otro día más!

So NBC’s Heroes is having some serious issues…  Sure I get that it is the most watched show on NBC for the 18 to 40 age bracket (or however the hell that works) but really… what the hell?

The writing consultant  / idea guru (whatever his title is) Bryan Fuller, who was around for the awesomeness that was known as Season One has left again….  NBC brought this guy back at the end of Season Three after Dweedle Dee and Dumbshit Two were fired… The guy was supposed to come in and fix the show…  Instead he made it all kinda wonky…  It was almost like it was too little too late…

And now Fuller has left AGAIN to pursue other enterprises!
Personally, I think the guy can sense a sinking ship and is getting the hell outta Dodge before the whole thing goes under… Being such a creative guy, I”m sure he’ll always be able to grab a job somewhere… but really…

I mean, really people, having a good show isn’t that hard.
Listen to your fans…  Watch the show from your audiences perspective.  Take yourself out of your Hollywood positions and actually LOOK at your work.

Do you guys even pay attention to your own story lines?  Really?  I mean, do the writers just sit around a table and write their own individual story, not even bothering to make sure it goes with their companions’ work?

*SPOILER ALERT*

Like at the end of Season Three / Volume Four… wen Sylar kicks the crap out of the Petrelli Bros…  okay sure, we don’t get to see any form of cool fight scene, because the show is about the PEOPLE and not the typical superhero stuff (which is CRAP by the way) but okay Sylar flies off with Nathan Petrelli, gets into a room and slices the dude’s neck open.  Oh no!  A main character is dead!  Dun dun dun!
Exit villain stage left, other characters show up and mourn the loss of the dead superhero… namely Mrs. Petrelli the dead guys mom, and Noah Bennett (Mr. Horn-rimmed Glasses, the indestructible cheerleaders adoptive father)…  They mourn the loss of Nathan and come up with a scheme to trick everyone that he is still alive, and at the same time defeat/get rid of Sylar the villain….

Does anyone see the BIGGEST issue here?

Noah Bennett the character standing RIGHT THERE, has been brought back from the dead AFTER BEING SHOT IN THE FACE THROUGH HIS EYE WITH A FREAKING HANDGUN!!!!!

Does NOBODY remember this?!?!

All it took for his speedy recovery from death was an IV drip of his indestructible cheerleader daughter’s blood…
Sure a cheap-ass way to have main characters come back from the dead if they find it convenient to the damn storyline, but OH NO we suddenly forget this now that it’s a different character?  If the dude was reduced to a pile of ash or something, it THEN would at least make sense!

Si creíamos que no íbamos a saber cosas de “Héroes” hasta el estreno de la nueva temporada, estábamos bien equivocados. Tim Kring, creador de la serie, ha dado a grandes rasgos las que serán las líneas argumentales aunque sin avanzar demasiado para no romper el encanto. Y es que pensar que a la semana que viene ya se empieza a rodar por lo que deben tener bastante clara como será parte de la trama. (Posibles spoilers)

Temas a destacar de la nueva temporada: la trama girará en torno a cómo las personas con habilidades viven su vida ajenos a todo ¿ocultarán sus habilidades a los demás? No se ha dejado claro.

Los hermanos Petrelli intentarán llevar sus vidas a la normalidad. Peter tratará de recobrar el sentido de héroes, salvando vidas ¿volverá otra vez a ser el enfermero perpetuo? Tendrá relación con una poderosa mujer que tiene muchas cosas que ofrecerle, mientras que Nathan comenzará a descubrir cosas sobre sí mismo, que mira que es complicado ya que en realidad no es Nathan sino Sylar. Matt por su parte se sentirá culpable de lo ocurrido con Nathan ya que él es el artífice de todo, e intentará recobrar a su familia (se ha confirmado la presencia de Matt Jr.).

Se intentará crear otra nueva compañía en parte gracias a Angela Petrelli, Tracy Strauss y Noah, aunque reflejara otra nueva línea centrándose en las personas. Y se rumorea ya la posible muerte de uno de los personajes, en especial el personaje que se baraja es Hiro, que seguirá con sus dolores de cabeza y sangrando a causa de usar sus poderes.

En cuanto a las nuevas incorporaciones tenemos en primer lugar a Madelina Zima (de “Californication”) que interpretará a Gretchen, la compañera de habitación en la universidad donde estudiara Claire. La eterna animadora tendrá que aprender a llevar una vida normal, aunque el tortuoso divorcio de sus padres y un suicidio en el campus universitario compliquen las cosas. Además también llegará Robert Knepper (de “Prison Break”) que dará vida a Samuel, un personaje bastante retorcido aunque estará en el bando contrario, papel que le pega a las mil maravillas.

También se pueden añadir a estos dos fichajes (que vemos en la fotografía) el de Ray Park, un especialista del cine que ha sido conocido por interpretar a Darth Maul en “Star Wars: Episodio I: La Amenaza Fantasma”. Seguramente será uno de los personajes viviendo en el circo que dará mucho juego en la nueva temporada. Y también entra a formar parte del cast de la nueva temporada Deanne Bray que supuestamente vendría a interpretar el nuevo interés amoroso de Peter Petrelli.

¿Qué os parece lo que está por llegar? Tiene buena pinta… aunque es mejor no aventurar nada ya que eso parecía la 3ª temporada y después fue una gran decepción.

This episode was truly a bundle of joy, arguably the best 40 minutes of Heroes this entire Season. We end Volume IV, to begin Volume V, ‘ Redemption’. The preview for the next volume didn’t impact me as well as the one for Volume IV, but it looks like there going to be back at the same place. We also get repercussions for having powers through Hiro!

Speaking of Hiro Nakamura, the writers have finally come around to show Human side-effects for having abilities. As far as i remember Dr. Suresh had side-effects with his strength ability. But never was he told that when he’d use his power again he would die. Hiro Nakamura was given an unsightly fate, and it might mean we won’t be seeing much of Hiro next season. Or Dr. Suresh or maybe the company might make a magic potion to help Hiro. Who knows? Maybe there might be another time traveller? If peter touches Hiro, he will inherit his powers, or atleast know how it works because he now has Sylar’s power.

The final showdown between Sylar and Nathan Petrelli ended in a unilateral blood bath. When your going against Sylar you need more fire power than just the ability of flight. Even if your travelling at mach speed, Sylar can probably move out of the way. So we see the last of Nathan Petrelli? Oh no. The producers really like Adrian Pasdar so they got Matt Parkman to change Sylar into Nathan. To what end? I mean there is a significance, i think that if Sylar finds that constant or that crystal ball, which his mother gave him. That he’ll go back to being Sylar. It’s confusing, because we don’t know how developped Matt Parkman’s ability is. Can Matt Parkman really do this? I think we need the Haitian to really erase Sylar’s memories. But knowing Sylar, he might overcome that and piece together random things together.

Dr. Suresh’s narrative at the end is true, we are really made up of disjointed memories and experiences. Thats who we truly are, taking upon another host body or trying to be someone else won’t do it. You need their memories, but you also need to loose your own. I just remembered something! Sylar tried to start a relationship with Claire, and i remember in a previous season where he lived in the same house. This time Sylar was good, so maybe they do end up together. But it would be a sort of incest if Sylar was in Nathan’s body? I doubt it, anyways we also have to check out the return of Tracy Strauss. She also reminds of a character in x-men mutant cartoon, i just can’t recall. So it’s going to be interesting season 4? Maybe, but they need to stop putting these fillers and give the audiences more substance!

I cut and pasted a few different pictures, and merged them into the poster above. I’ll be using this from now on. But tonight is the season finale of Heroes so there won’t be much updates on Heroes.

A brief recap of Heroes is in order. So were at Season 3, i started following Heroes on TV from Season 3. The previous 2 seasons i watched re-encodes of HDTV captures. With season 1 we had a solid story, and a plausible plot. What kept the show running was Hiro Nakamura and his interesting subplots. With Season 2, i don’t really remember but it was all about Sylar and his need to take everyone’s powers. Season 3 really fell apart after the first few episodes, they started with this powerful way by using ‘The Second Coming’. The season premiere was epic,  but it went down hill from there on end.

The unnecessary relationship between Sylar and Elle dragged on for atleast 5 episodes, pushing my patience to the next level. After this i stopped following Heroes religiously and sat back to watched the show much more slowly. I prioritized Lost and other shows over Heroes at this point. The recent episode 23 – 1961, really drove me insane because it was a complete and utter filler episode. Heroes has become more and more improvised, their tieing up wierd ends, and i really don’t know where there going with Heroes. They’ve dumped so many characters, and there revisiting certain elements like:

• Why Angela stole socks in Season 1?
• Angela let Sylar kill someone to gain the power so that he knows the history of everything he touches.

It’s as if the writer just remembered these things, and are randomly bringing them back. Lost has it’s own website called Lostpedia, i visit this site after every episode to find out some tid bits and bloopers. But Heroes has absolutely nothing, it’s mundane and just a continuing story with no goal or ending. I’m more lost watching Heroes than Lost, because Heroes there is no end, the producers are giving a very vague picture.

What makes Heroes sell? The fact that Heroes started recently means that it has the support of the younger audience, whereas the Lost, 24 and House audiences are much older. Heroes has the audience, but they also have comic book audience, who loves superheroes. The Smallville and maybe Marvel/DCComic audience might also appreciate Heroes for what it’s worth. Many of the audience feels a connection to specific characters, in some way, shape or form.

One more review for me, and it’s the end of the road for Heroes. I guess i’ll be writing about Heroes in a few months, if i choose this blog alive. It’s time consuming but it allows me to get somethings off my mind. And i might re-read it some day.

Hells Kitchen
In the U.K The Hells Kitchen final will be from 8pm to 10pm. The battle is between Linda Evans and Ade Edmonson. I am supporting Linda Evans. some of the the fired will be back tonight when the kitchen is split in 2 tems, Lindas team and Ades Team. Ade picked Niomi McLean-Daley and Danielle Bux whilst Linda brought back Anthea Turner and Bruce Grobelaar. Who will win with Marco Pere Whites watchfull eye following them.

Heroes Finale
Over the pond in the USA Heroes is finishing with the episode “An Invisible Thread” which will pick up from “I am Sylar” with Sylars indentiy Crisis finished he will kill a Heroes that has been here since season 1.

… have been busy! I worked about 26 hours just on saturday and sunday… I just had my interview with walt disney records! I will hear back from them later this week. I also found out that the tv show I’m working on will be getting pitched to bobby flay as well! and I am getting my mixes and scores done for some of the films I am working on. Sunday I volunteered at this event called Heroes For Autism, Band from TV played a benefit concert for the Autism Speaks charity. and the cast from the TV show Heroes was there. I hungout with them and some of the musicians and got to work backstage as a tech. I set up gear for Doyle Bramhall (Eric Clapton’s guitar player), Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre’s Bass Player), and Jeremy Stacey (Drummer for Sheryl Crow &  Black Crows), I watched the show standing next to Jeff Beck (Clapton & Page’s replacement in the Yardbirds, Jeff Beck Group). Pretty cool day even though it was a long one (15hrs)! I also got to talk with Greg, Jamie and Adrian again, this whole networking thing out here is kinda sweet! My record label is also a few steps closer to existence, I have been able to discuss it with the people I want to work with, and they are all on board with me and as excited as I am about it! The next couple of weeks we will be finalizing the business plan and setting up meetings with venture capitalists.

As the slow period before the big summer movies draws to a close, and most TV shows begin entering their final few episodes, it seems an appropriate time for me to share my thoughts on this season of TV. I don’t watch an enormous variety of TV shows– between movies and theater, it’s hard to find the time– but that having been said, here are my thoughts.

Best New TV Show: Eastbound and Down

Remember how I said I hated Observe and Report? These are the same people responsible, giving me 3-dimensional characters, an anti-hero you still reluctantly root for, and a supporting cast of hilarious actors who all get the tone. With all-star directors like David Gordon Green and Adam McKay lending a hand, Jody Hill, Ben Best, and Danny McBride have given HBO a mini-classic– a six-episode season of blissfully uncomfortable comedy, resulting in a pitch-perfect conclusion. HBO has announced an eight-episode second season that will wrap everything up. I can’t wait– this is the best new comedy on TV since the first season of Fight of the Conchords June 2007.

Best Character on TV: (tie) John Locke and Ben Linus, Lost

For three seasons running, they win the award. Lost is probably my favorite show on TV, and whenever I get caught up in some of the nonsensical things that go on in that show, Locke and Ben bring me back. Terry O’Quinn and Michael Emerson have simply been in the zone– they just GET IT. Every turn of phrase, every decision as an actor that they’ve made for the past three years have never failed to be spot on. I could probably say that Locke has been the best character on TV for five years running. All of the stuff with Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and everyone else are simply the human elements that carry the plot forward. Locke and Ben get into the spiritual and mysterious sides of the island, the sides that you can tell the writers have loved most since Day 1. Out of the Top 25 Lost moments of all time (sounds like a good idea for a future article), I can guarantee at least 15 belong to Ben or Locke or both.

Best Addition to a TV Show: (tie) Charles Miner and Holly Flax, The Office

Last season of the Office hit a major speedbump. At times it was like a silly soap opera– Michael and Jan issues, Dwight, Angela and Andy love triangle, and Jim and Pam dating. The minor characters got very little shine, and the comedic potential of these relationships were rarely exploited to the fullest (“The Dinner Party” was one of two shining moments in the season), instead giving way to making the characters broader and less sympathetic.

However, the season finale introduced a brilliant comic device, Holly Flax, the replacement HR rep who was beautiful and (bizarrely enough) uncannily like Michael. Portrayed by Academy Award nominee Amy Ryan, she never played the character for laughs, which is how the series is when it works best– more grounded, toeing the line between believable and outrageous. She injected serious life into the show at season’s beginning. Now, nearing season’s end, Idris Elba’s character Charles Miner has shaken the cast dynamic to its core. No longer is Michael forgiven for his terrible boss tactics– he’s out the door. No longer is Jim excused for his lazy behavior and pranks– he’s now on Miner’s bad side and having to work hard to save his job. No longer is Andy simply pathetic– he’s now back to sucking up to his superiors and feuding/bonding with Dwight, the two things Andy is best at. Finally, a character who would run a REAL WORLD business has come to Dunder Mifflin, and the entire company doesn’t know how to respond. Another terrific turn by The Office team, a turn that has saved the show from its downward spiral.

Best Subtraction from a TV Show: Stella, How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother has been constantly trying over the past two seasons to live up to the magic created at the beginning. Due to its hard work putting on celebs and creating big character changes, it’s been able to rise up in the ratings enough that it hopefully doesn’t require any more gimmicks to survive on CBS. And thank the Lord, they got rid of the worst gimmick of all, Stella. Stella’s introduction into Ted’s life was fantastic, but after that, the show draaaaaagged. Another lame conflict with Stella, and, even worse, they clipped Barney’s wings and made him fall in love with Robin. Although they quickly realized that Barney needed to stay as bawdy and despicable as ever, the Stella plotline sunk downward and took the show with it. Finally, Stella went back to her daughter’s father, and the show has since been working its way back into the realm of the funny.

Best Reality TV Show: American Idol

Yep. It’s still Idol. At this point, it’s like comfort food. You know how the judges will react, you know they’re emotionally manipulating you into liking certain people, but you don’t care because it’s so much fun. Woe betide the show if Simon Cowell actually leaves after next season like he’s hinted.

Best Reality TV Moment: The After The Final Rose special for ABC’s The Bachelor

Who would’ve thought the nicest guy in Bachelor history, Jason Mesnick, with his adorable son Ty and genial persona, would propose to Melissa at 9:55 PM on my TV screen, and at 10:05 PM tell host Chris Harrison that months have passed and he can’t stop thinking about runner-up Molly… so he will be dumping Melissa and asking out Molly in the next hour? You always think The Bachelor is dead, but it keeps finding ways to top itself. Well done, Bachelor. Well done.

Best Underrated TV Show: The Big Bang Theory

It’s a very simple premise: some nerds live in an apartment across from a hot girl. But what distinctive and unique characters this show has, and how smart and funny the writing is. It’s never going to be an emotionally deep show, but it will always be the equivalent of cotton candy– light, free of substance, but a very satisfying quick eat.

TV Show that Fell Off The Hardest: Heroes

Season 1 of Heroes was engaging, pulpy, suspenseful and terrific. Season 2 was boring and suspenseless, but introduces some interesting characters, giving me hope for Season 3. Too bad that despite the introduction of some cool villains, it took forever to get going, was filled with even more logic problems than before, and was never able to suck me in. I gave up halfway through the season, and have never really regretted it. That’s the sign that a show that has truly fallen off– you don’t even wish it was back to being good, you’re just glad it’s gone.

Season Finale to Look Forward To the Most? Lost

Although I’m very curious to see how Michael inevitably regains his job at Dunder Mifflin, the number of things I’m curious about on Lost far outweigh that. I could list the things I want the answers to here in this post, but I don’t have the time. That’s the beauty of Lost– it gives you enough to satisfy you on a weekly basis, but never fails to leave you wanting more. Parts of Season 3 left me wanting… but this season has kicked along at a rapid pace, heading towards what is sure to be an explosive finale.

Well what can I say of this episode…it was great, awesome and absolutely fresh, well I would like to have the 1961 story in color, please it would be great, anyway the episode, Laura Marano and the woman who played old Alice were awesome better than Alexa Nikolas and Cristine Rose, but I’m not saying the both girls didn’t do a good job, I’m just remarking the work of the Alices, I loved specially when Angela was begging to Alice saying Peter is her son, so Alice’s nephew and they’ve got a family, Cristine is a terrific actress I loved her, what I liked the most is that there wasn’t Danko or Sylar or even Parkmans or Hiros around, it was enough, the sexual tension between young Angela and yound Charles was also good, but it’s too bad young Linderman and young Bobby only had few lines, anyway I love this episode it’s a 9.7/10, watch it now!!

Alexa and Laura did a great and awesome job

Angela and her sister Alice are brought to Coyote Sands Relocation Center (a nice name for a Nazi-like camp), and they are received by Dr. Chandra Suresh. Once she’s installed, three guys come to see the new girls in town, they’re Charles (Devoux), Daniel (Linderman) and Bobby (Bishop), it seems Bobby and Charles find Angela very attractive.

Anyway Daniel, Charles and Bobby show Angela their in a Nazi-like camp, and that can be seen because the whole place is filled with soldiers; so they must not only escape but destroy the whole facility. She says that they shouldn’t trust in doctor Suresh.

Later Angela confesses to Alice she’s been dreaming that doctor Suresh is going to kill everybody in the camp, Alice comes clean too and she confesses she can control the weather.

Charles, Daniel and Bobby asks Angela to go outside the camp, Alice wants to go with them, but Angela states it’s just a plan for teenagers not kids, so she promises she’ll be safe in that place because she dreamed about it, so she needs to stay. When Angela and three wonder boys are in the cafeteria (after Charles ask her for a dance interrupted by the fact Charles is black and the revelation of Charles to be a Matt Parkman) they hear in the weather report that a huge storm is coming to the Relocation Camp.

In the camp, Suresh tries to inject something to Alice, but she freaks out and the weather goes crazy, Alice escapes but then Suresh catches her, and in order to calm her down she hits her, Alice’s father attackers Suresh so the soldiers go crazy and everybody starts shooting around, Alice gets to hide, but everybody else is dead.

Later after watching the whole scene, Angela decides they must form a team, a company in order to keep all the evolved humans secret and hidden, so despite Bobby states they’re just kids, Angela says that it’s not anymore like that, they must to do that necessary evil.

Mohinder discovers his father was not such a piece of cake

Peter, HRG, Claire and Nathan are still digging, so Peter gets enough and asks Angela what the hell are they doing, so Angela states that her dreams had led her to that place to find a sister she thought as dead.

Angela also thinks the only way to keep all the evolved humans safe is by creating a new company and coming back to the old methods, HRG of course agrees, even when the company wasn’t perfect (erasing memories, lying and lots of dead bodies yah it wasn’t perfect) was the only thing that kept the secret of the evolved humans for fifty years.

Peter thinks this is wasting time and he leaves, Nathan goes after them. In the same cafeteria where Angela used to go when kid, so Peter and Nathan talks about the world series of 1986 and all the Mookie Wilson stuff, and how Nathan took from Peter the chance to watch that game, so Nathan tells Peter he’s sorry and he wants to do the right thing.

In the camp, Angela remains a little time alone with Claire, Claire asked HRG to leave them alone, Angela recognizes that if she were strong enough as Claire is now, everything would be different and everything Coyote Sands and the company. So she tells Claire she thinks her sister is alive, so a huge sand storm starts, and Angela goes outside.

HRG also is outside and he’s hitted and he’s rescued by Mohinder, they make clear that HRG is not working for Danko anymore, so Mohinder reveals he’s there to find out more about his father, he thinks he’s guilty of all the dead bodies found, so HRG states that working with the enemy doesn’t make you the enemy. Then Peter and Mohinder goes with Peter to look for Angela while Claire stays with Noah and Nathan.

Claire states she’s been mistaken and stupid for trying to be an agent hunting the bad guys, and that she only wants to be a normal girl, who reads, to watch movies and normal things, so suddenly it’s a good idea to form a new company, Nathan and Noah confirms that and they talk about the alliance between Danko and Sylar.

You look so old sister, get a plastic surgeon, oh wait I need it too, hehe

Angela wakes up in a basement she finds Alice, she tells Angela she’s survived by stealing food and that he stayed there because Angela told her to stay there when kids, (Oh dear god) so Angela states she’s sorry and it was her fault, Alice holds Angela (or Banana oh they talk about how old they are hehehe) but when Angela comes clean to Alice revealing that she lied to her, Alice goes crazy, and thunders and stuff start coming around, Suresh and Peter shows up, and it’s not helping Suresh looks a lot like his father, the one who slapped Alice when kid, but Angela dares to talk to her, Angela says Alice’s got a family and they’re not guilty for her mistakes, the weather calms down, but Alice disappear.

Peter and Mohinder talks a little, Mohinder tells Peter he’s weak and corruptible but Peter says that indeed he’s a good man, but he’s got to get back to the right path. Mohinder says he have to find it on his own.

In the cafeteria, Claire, HRG, Nathan, Peter and Angela are together eating they say a new company is not exactly the solution, but a family is, so the first step is for Nathan to go back to Washington, but it seems he already did, so it’s Sylar who has taken Nathan’s place.

Dude, it stinks in here, oh wait it's the dead people, lol

Oh my god this episde is gonna be awesome, awesome, awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

O episódio começou chato: temos Claire and Nathan no México se escondendo, e pra variar o cartão de crédito do Senador bloqueado (tão típico). Vemos Syler querendo ajudar Danko (o caçador). Agora Sylar tem o poder (acho) tele-transportar. Temos Peter e Angela em uma igreja onde a Sr.ª Petrelli tenta pegar no sono pra ver se tem alguma visão que possa os livrar das mãos dos caçadores. Esse carinha (Peter), sempre achei forçado demais e agora ele não tem força pra nada…péssimo ator.

Outras coisas: Nathan bebendo todas, e depois pra finalizar Claire se embebedando…

Na igreja, Peter reza, questionando Deus pelo que esta acontecendo. E pede pra que ELE dê um jeito, nessa hora as velas da igreja se apagar (ohhhh).

Enquanto isso, bem longe dali vemos Nathan e Claire, discutindo a relação.

Chegando nos momentos finais do episódio Sylar adquire o poder de se transformar em uma outra pessoa. Cansei. Esse é o clichê mais usados em series e filmes de super-poderes: quantas vezes já não vimos isso? Me diz quantas? Agora que Sylar poder ter outra aparência a coisa ficou mais chata do que poderia estar. Sempre vai ficar aquela dúvida besta: será que é o Sylar será que não e ai em um momento ou outro vamos ter a “surpresa” de que certo personagem que agia bondosamente é Sylar.

Talvez o poder de Tracy Strauss alcançou até o episódio 21 o tornando very, very boring.

Posso dizer com certeza que a única coisa boa foi a notável música de fundo. Que a propósito, a música que encerra o episódio é: "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" by The Animals.

I’ve been following every episodes of Heroes since season one. I LOVE THIS SERIAL due to the story (even if it’s irrational sometimes) and love it more because there are many good-looking actors! Every scene pleases my eyes. And the recent hot guy is….
