I finally have some energy to type this story which happened like 3 weeks ago. As I’ve said in my previous post, the one where I’m introducing Happy the rabbit, there was a story behind the reason why I bought another rabbit. This all happened during my holiday in Turkey so I wasn’t home when this happened, but of course my mum was… so actually it’s her story ^^

Anyway, this is what happened…

My mum went to check on Ripley before going to sleep. Everything was fine so she went away. The next day she didn’t see him, but she figured he was on the 1st floor! So she left for work…  After coming back and wanting to let Ripley out of his cage, she noticed he wasn’t there anymore. She looked around the neighbourhood and he was gone for like 2 days. Then she went to the vet to gather some information. She also wanted to do this at the petshop. Walking into the petshop and looking at the rabbits there, she saw OUR RABBIT in 1 of their cages…-OMG-… Of course she got our rabbit back from the shop.

Ripley was in this small cage together with a tiny rabbit!!! A salesperson from the petshop said that our rabbit was very sweet and didn’t mind the little rabbit at all. A few days later my mum walked into the petshop again to get some pet food and the same salesperson told my mum that the little rabbit was acting different since our rabbit left.

I got back from Turkey and a few days later I bought the tiny Rabbit. They are being very funny together. I think they like each other and they have a good time together =D So it wasn’t a bad choice ^^

Ini ada beberapa tips buat kamu-kamu yang pingin banget memelihara hamster. Binatang satu ini emang lucu banget dan menggemaskan deh. Nih, ada beberapa tips buat kamu yang udah gak tahan memelihara hamster.
Yang pertama, tentunya kamu harus punya uang dulu buat beli tuh hamster. Di daerahku (Denpasar) rata-rata harga Hamster dari Rp 25.000-Rp 60.000. Tergantung jenis Hamsternya sih!! Jangan lupa kamu beli kandangnya. Kandangnya (usahakan) besar. Masalahnyakan Hamster tuh binatang yang lincah kasian kalo kandangnya kecil. Kandangnya itu bisa dari Aquarium yang kotak persegi panjang, terus bisa yang ada di petshop. Harganya di Denpasar berkisar Rp 85.000-Rp 300.000. Kalo kamu pinter nawar kamu bisa dapet di pasar burung seharga Rp 65.000. Hahaha…
Yang kedua. Kamu harus sediain pasir halus/serbuk kayu tanpa zat kimia apapun. Ini untuk alas di kandang Hamster. Selain alas juga untuk menyerap kencing. Kalo gak ada pasti deh kencingnya menggenang. Terus sebagai alas tidur kalo misalnya dia gak tidur dirumahnya (biasanya ada dikandang2 yang dijual liat aja deh). Tempat berlindung dari panas dan dingin. Kasian dong kalo kepanasan dan kedinginan. Selain itu juga untuk buat sarang. Serbuk/Pasir diganti tiap minggu ya. Sayang entar bau kalo gak diganti. Ketebalannya bisa dari 2Cm sampai 4 Cm.
Yang ketiga. Deng-deng… Tentang makanan Hamster. Hamster adalah Omnifora yang memakan segalanya entah itu enak, gak enak, bahaya, atau sehat. Gak mau dong kalo Hamster mati cuman gara-gara makan obat nyamuk yang kamu pasang di kamar. Makanya Hamster jangan dikasi sembarangan makanan ya. Makanan Hamster
Makanan hamster terbaik sampai saat ini tetap dipegang oleh makanan-makanan hamster impor buatan pabrik. Walaupun begitu Anda juga harus tetap waspada dan lebih cermat lagi dalam memilih mana makanan impor yang baik. Beberapa makanan impor mengandung terlalu banyak bahan pewarna, terlalu banyak biji bunga matahari atau bahan-bahan lainnya yang bisa merugikan hamster itu sendiri. Beberapa jenis buah-buahan dan kacang-kacangan bisa diberikan seminggu sekali dalam jumlah terbatas (sedikit sekali!)
Beberapa makanan yang bisa diberikan sebagai snack kepada hamster: (Perhatian: Makanan ini hanya diberikan sebagai snack bukan makanan utama karena bisa mengakibatkan ketidakseimbangan gizi, kerusakan pada sistem kencing, diare, dan kelainan pada proses kehamilan karena obesitas)
Apel,Pir,Pisang,Wortel
Jagung manis (pemberian dalam jumlah banyak bisa mengakibatkan kerontokan bulu)
Kentang (harus direbus dulu)
Kacang tanah,Kacang kulit,Kacang mete,Kacang almond,Kacang kedelai
Roti tawar,Biskuit Cracker,Oatmeal,Corn Flakes

Makanan yang sebaiknya tidak diberikan kepada hamster:
Selada,Kangkung dan seluruh sayuran hijau lainnya (Cai sim, bayam, kai lan, dll),Ketimun

Makanan yang tidak boleh diberikan sama sekali kepada hamster:
Jeruk dan semua bangsa citrus
Cokelat
Makanan yang telah diberi bumbu

Berikut beberapa kesalahan yang sering dibuat oleh pemilik hamster pemula:
1.Memberi makan sayur, wortel atau jagung segar sebagai menu makanan utama. Percayalah hal ini hanya akan merugikan Anda! Pencernaan hamster tidak didesain untuk mencerna makanan-makanan yang mengandung kelembaban tinggi seperti ini. Jika Anda tidak percaya, coba teliti kondisi kandang hamster Anda, apakah selalu kelihatan basah dan kotor? Ini diakibatkan dari pemberian sayur-sayuran segar yang Anda berikan setiap hari! Coba ganti menu makanan hamster Anda dengan yang lebih sesuai yaitu makanan hamster kering yang bisa Anda temui di petshop atau di supermarket. Di Indonesia tersedia beberapa merk seperti : Ultra Blend, XtraVital, Vitakraft, Hamsfood, Hagen, Minimal Goods, Hartz, Nutriblocks, dan masih banyak lagi lainnya. Anda tinggal memilihnya sesuai dengan keuangan dan kebutuhan hamster Anda.

2.Membeli tambahan biji bunga matahari atau kuaci sebagai makanan tambahan. “Hamster saya suka biji bunga matahari dan kuaci, selain itu mereka tidak mau makan yang lainnya.” Mungkin Anda tidak tahu kalau tindakan sayang Anda ini justru malah membunuh hamster Anda. Biji bunga matahari dan kuaci adalah salah satu makanan yang mudah disukai oleh hamster tapi pemberian dalam jumlah besar dalam mengakibat beberapa hal diantaranya: obesitas, kurangnya kalsium sehingga pertumbuhan tulang dan gigi menjadi terhambat, kelainan dalam proses kelahiran (ini disebabkan oleh kandungan lemak yang terlalu tinggi pada biji bunga matahari). Kasus yang paling sering terjadi adalah yang terakhir, kelainan pada proses kelahiran. Kelainan ini berujung pada keguguran bayi-bayi hamster tersebut yang merenggut jiwa induk dan anak-anaknya. Jadi berhati-hatilah dalam memberi makan hamster Anda! Menyayanginya bukan berarti memanjakannya!

3.Pemberian susu bubuk atau susu cair untuk manusia pada hamster. Beberapa orang melakukan ini dan mereka mengeluh kalau bulu hamster mereka menjadi tipis dan rontok. Memang belum terbukti secara klinis tapi lebih baik mencegah dari pada mengobati. Susu untuk manusia diformulasikan untuk manusia jadi lebih baik jangan diberikan ke hewan. Gunakan susu khusus untuk hamster! Itu jauh lebih baik. Lagipula pemberian susu ini juga tidak menunjukkan manfaat yang mengesankan tapi rutinitas pemberian susu ini malah jauh merepotkan Anda.

4.Memberikan snack terlalu banyak. Snack sebaiknya diberikan hanya seminggu sekali, jika terlalu sering… Anda pasti rugi telah membeli makanan hamster karena tidak dikonsumsi secara maksimal. Sama seperti anak kecil yang diberi pilihan antara sayur dan kue kesukaannya, hamster pasti lebih memilih snack kesukaannya. Tapi sekali lagi kita tidak mungkin memberi makan kue cokelat setiap hari sebagai makanan utama bagi anak kita kan? Begitu pula dengan hamster! Pemberian snack terlalu sering akan mengakibatkan ketidakseimbangan gizi yang sebenarnya telah ditimbang dan dipelajari secara khusus oleh para ahli yang telah meracik makanan hamster. Ini pasti mempunyai efek negatif di kemudian hari terutama ketika hamster melahirkan dan menyusui. Jika Anda merasa ‘tidak tahan’ dan ingin memberikan snack lebih banyak dari seminggu sekali, Anda bisa menimbang-nimbang secara bijak jenis snack yang Anda berikan. Sesuai dengan sistem pencernaan hamster yang kurang bisa menerima makanan dengan tingkat kelembaban tinggi pilihlah snack yang ‘kering’ seperti kacang-kacangan, roti, biskuit, cereal dan lain-lain. Sedang untuk buah-buahan berikanlah seminggu sekali.

Yang keempat. Yaitu Minuman dari Hamster itu sendiri. Hamster memperoleh air dari sayuran-sayuran. Kalo misalnya kamu gak terlalu sering ngasi sayur sediakanlah botol minum kusus hamster yang dijual di petshop. Oh ya jangan lupa. Minuman hamster itu Air yang di masak jangan kasi air keran yang masih ada kuman-kumannya. Juga Kebersihan Botol harus senangtiasa bersih. Jangan juga memberikan susu manusia kasi saja susu hamster. Oh ya botolnya jangan sampai bocor. Nanti banjir lagi kandangannya.
Yang Kelima. Tips Lainnya.
1. Jangan Pernah Hamster itu basah. Boleh sih dimandikan tapi jangan sampai basah banget karena hamster itu sangat sensitive. Kalo udah terlanjur basah segeralah keringkan. Hamster itu sebenernya punya cara sendiri buat mandi loh.
2. Jangan Hamster jantan dan betina di dalam satu kandang. Sudah bisa ditebak pasti mereka berantem deh. Taruhan pasti!!! Jadi sebaiknya dipisahkan aja. Untuk ngawinin pelan-pelan aja kalo mereka berantem jangan dikawinin dulu kalo dah baikan ya! boleh.
3. Ada pertanyaan tinggalkanlah komen!! Doain aja bisa jawab. Hehehe aku juga baru memelihara hamster.
4. Daftar Ketidak Tahuan Dari (www.kaskus.us)
1.Hamster dijemur dibawah sinar matahari. Hamster adalah binatang nocturnal. Mereka adalah binatang malam. Di alam liar mereka tidur sepanjang siang hari dalam lubang mereka yang bisa mencapai kedalaman 10 – 20 meter dibawah permukaan tanah dan baru keluar pada malam hari untuk mencari makan. Jadi mereka tidak terlalu membutuhkan sinar matahari. Sedikit saja cukup… Tidak perlu sampai ‘dijemur’.
2.Hamster dimandikan dengan air. Hamster rentan terhadap air dan kelembaban. Hamster berasal dari daerah gurun pasir yang kering. Jika hamster Anda sedang sehat dan dalam kondisi prima mungkin terkena air bukan masalah, tapi jika kondisinya sedang menurun terkena air bisa berarti kematian bagi mereka. Hamster yang basah harus secepatnya dikeringkan atau mereka terserang flu, kemudian berlanjut ke pneumonia dan berakhir pada kematian. Jadi jangan mengambil resiko untuk tindakan yang tidak perlu ini.
3.Memisahkan induk hamster dari bayi-bayinya. Kedengarannya memang bodoh tapi percayalah banyak orang yang tidak sengaja melakukan hal ini karena ketakutan mereka pada gosip yang beredar tentang ‘hamster pemakan anak’. Ibu hamster yang sehat dan cukup akrab dengan manusia tidak akan memakan anaknya tanpa alasan yang jelas! Jadi jangan memisahkan ibu dan bayi-bayinya karena bayi-bayi itu akan meninggal dengan segera karena kedinginan dan tidak mendapatkan air susu.
4.Hamster jatuh dari ketinggian. Jika hamster Anda masih baru, cobalah untuk memegang hamster dalam posisi duduk jadi jika hamster Anda jatuh tidak akan terlalu tinggi. Ini kesalahan yang paling sering dilakukan orang. Hamster yang baru datang biasanya masih merasa asing dengan Anda dan dengan lingkungannya dan cenderung melompat secara tiba-tiba. Jadi Anda harus mengantisipasi hal ini dulu.

Well the sprays and the wash fest seem to have done the trick, and I write this whilst touching wood in accordance with the old wives tale. For those of you with smutty minds reading that last sentence, I did actually mean the table.
Normality is close to being restored in the house now, thanks to two nice days of sunshine drying most of the washing marathon out. I have put quite a few things away. Two airing racks sit presently loaded near my patio window awaiting tomorrow mornings sunshine.
The advice of washing everything seemed like quite a laborious task when first suggested, but it was even more laborious in reality. My mother kept popping over to the house and moving things around, supposedly ‘helping’ but actually cross contaminating, and meaning some piles of towels, clothes, and other items had to be washed twice, or even three times over. My mother certainly has a way of turning a drama into another Hiroshima, Chernobyl, or even, given the amount of washing and water involved, Tsunami. OK so perhaps this is a little bit of an exaggeration, but she does have a habit of making a bad situation worse.
Do excuse me if I lose a little of the thread in writing this, as I must step away from my computer a moment… Ahhh, that’s better. Sadly the mind numbing tedium of TV verbal, visual, and mental diarhorrea came on in the background while I was writing. I wish I could name the programme, but for potential legal ramifications, I shall not. Suffice to say the title of this piece parodies one of the shows catchphrases, and the name is somewhat akin to ‘little sister’, except larger, and male. This silly programme was encouraging the fame seeking crazy people they entrap on their stage to fight each other in a paddling pool full of oil. Please.
So anyway, back to the story. It is surprising just how many washable things a person can gather in their life. Even in my present state of being half moved into a new house, I still managed to use over half a new box of wash power, which states on the front of it that there are around fifty washes worth of power within. Over twenty five washes is a lot in two days and one evening. It seems I have been washing my little socks off. Piles of dry towels folded, but in need of a proper refolding sit around me. They all need putting away, but I feel I have done enough for one day.
My bed was perhaps the main surprise in terms of copious amounts of materials to wash. I can not honestly remember the last time I stripped it right back, but with this problem in the house I had to. I was always raised to change the bed sheets once a week, and to put at least two pillow cases on each pillow, so when you washed the top cover, you could leave on the one underneath, which kept the actual pillow fresh. A while ago, whilst running short of storage, I had a brain wave. If the one underneath stayed fresh, then why not put all the pillow cases on the pillows on the bed. That way, if I had a weekend where I was tired and just needed to change the bed quickly, I could literally strip off the top layer, stick the dirty ones in the washing machine, and go to bed straight away on the layer underneath. Almost. I still had to change the sheet underneath, and the duvet cover. Till I had another brainwave, and applied the same principle to the sheets underneath, reducing the actual new sheet hunt and covering to the duvet cover alone. This has worked beautifully, giving me back the airing cupboard space for towels, tea towels, flannels, and a space for hiding monthly girly necessities out of embarrassing view. This worked beautifully, saving me energy when I need it, and allowing me to restack pillow cases and sheets on the bed whenever I change the bed with decidedly more energy. Until today, when I had to strip the bed right back all at once, leaving me totally knackered. I think I shall return to storing the sheets and pillowcases on the bed, it makes it softer to sleep on, the house is tidier, and it is very easy to change the bed when I am tired. It does however mean a lot of restacking tonight before I sleep on it and make the sheets dirty, meaning it would need a top layer strip again before anymore could be applied. This means making several beds on one bed tonight, and all the washing of the day is tiring.
Still all the washing was definitely worth it. The airing cupboard, up until a few months back, was rammed full. There was a problem, and about two months ago, everything in the airing cupboard had to come out and be washed then. That may be what motivated me to put more sheets and pillowcases on the bed to be truthful, however that was a useful move. That amount of washing seemed like a marathon, but was nothing like the crazy amount of washing I had to resolve this problem recently. For this reason, my mother, in trying to help, was insistent that anything in the airing cupboard was recently cleaned, and as such cleaned, and so, could remain within the airing cupboard untouched during this exercise. An opinion I disagreed with. I kept repeating the fact that the chap in the pet shop, an expert in dealing with infestation, and the third pet shop I had driven to get some decent advice, had said that ‘everything had to be washed’.
My mother, annoyingly, kept questioning this, by repeating the phrase “even this” several times. It was akin to a five year old wandering around a toy shop asking if they could have a toy, being told absolutely no toys whatsoever, and then picking up different toys one after another, and asking for them one by one. In this scenario I could envisage a frustrated parent repeating the absolutely none statement many times over, and I, found myself repeating myself several times over to my mother and feeling like it was somewhat of a role reversal several years on. I think my mother just wanted to avoid the fuss. I however, was doing all the work, and the main person enduring all the fuss, but felt it worth it if it really did say goodbye to the bugs. My mother holding me back in this became increasingly frustrating when her labour saving efforts resulted in cross contamination and thus more washing for me.
Constant conversations where I was reminding my mother over and over that the word ‘everything’ in the phrase ‘everything has to be washed’ really did mean everything, and not just the some few things my mother believed could be washed became so tiresome. Essentially if it looked clean, or had been washed and put away not used my mother believed it did not need to be washed. Ordinarily I guess this is logical, but I could not seem to communicate to her that the spray I had purchased to treat the house was to harmful for sheets, towel, cloths. That despite these items looking clean, they were not. That material was perfect for harbouring these bugs larvae and eggs, and these could not be seen, and as such, everything needed to be washed. In the end I took to just ignoring her, and grinding my way through the washing, with the occasional outburst of ‘why did you MOVE THAT’ in response to her meddling cross contamination. All this and I have no small furry animals in my house, however if I had have had one, it would have spent two full days crated whilst I sorted out the madness!
I am amazed the process as so long, however it certainly as worth it. I took a spare duvet cover out of the washing machine today, still holding the fold marks of being neatly tucked away in the airing cupboard, only to find a smattering of dead bugs within it, when opening it out to put it on the line. I have ran this through the washing machine one more time to shake them off and wash them away. So I am glad I persevered and washed absolutely everything. I took the sheet upon finding the dead bugs to my mother, who had took up residence in my lounge after popping over for me to cook her dinner due to her suddenly being at a loose end today. I tried to show her it to explain again why I had washed so much. To me, the bugs showed me that the warm, secluded, fluffy material filled airing cupboard had seemed the perfect place for them to set up home and start breeding. Without all the treatments and washing, they could have carried on breading in the airing cupboard, and even if I had just treated the carpets, they could have carried on multiplying and biting from the airing cupboard. Dumfounded, after a moment of silence, my mother, surprised at this discovery, just repeated the fact that the entire contents of the airing cupboard had been emptied, washed, dried, and returned. I tried to educate again, saying that as a month or two ago, and the first sign of these bugs was Thursday of this week. I told her one or to may have come in, and then they started to multiply, obviously sneaking into the airing cupboard to do so. I think she as quite shocked, as all the shelves in the cupboard are quite high, as they sit above the tank.
Making that discovery really did reassure me that I had cut the little bugs off at source. The first day I spotted two leaping about in the house, the next day I saw five around the place. Since I started spraying with the hardcore spray, and washing like mad, I have not seen one live one leaping about. Just the batch of dead washed up ones in that one duvet cover fresh from the washing machine. I do however, appear to have developed a moderate paranoia about small bits of black fluff, and find myself prodding them with my nail to see if they move, which thankfully, they do not.
I am so relieved to think they have gone, and even more relieved to think that if that tin is correct, they ill be unable to return for the next twelve months. Blissful sleep without bites, some of which on me can swell to the size of a fifty pence piece. Someone kindly commented on my last post that bombs are effective. The comical value of the name made me laugh internally as much as it had when I had been discussing these in the pet shop. The reason for my laughter being that I had when first trying to get rid of these, thought that if I was rich, an easy way to be sure they were gone, would be to call someone in to demolish the house, and call some more chaps in to rebuild it. A bomb could be an effective way of demolishing the house. However the pet shop does not sell that kind of bomb, and this was not the kind of bomb the comment giver was referring to. Power bombs are sold for the treatment of fleas. Apparently they are rather messy, and you have to evacuate the house for a while, while the power from them settles. You would then return to the house to vacuum up the powder. As regular vacuuming leaves me with an itchy face, runny nose, and streaming eyes from a dust mite allergy, this seemed a road I hoped to avoid. These bombs were however well recommended as a good way to treat the infestation, and as such in the back of my mind, while buying the spray, I was dreading the idea that I may have to resort to coming back for a bomb. I might have bought one anyway to try as well as the spray from all the recommendations, however by the third pet shop I didn’t feel like travelling to any more, and they had sold out of bombs. As the spray seems to have proved so effective, I am now glad of that fact.

I still find myself itching a little, but I think that is just slight paranoia from the experience, and I hope that will fade over time.

Anyway, I think I have waffled on enough for one evening, and I need to prepare a few things for tomorrow, before I jump into my soft, clean, treated, relayered lovely big bed. So till my next post, goodnight.

Atualmente venho estudando sobre aquários, seus setups e descobri que vários artigos da internet são retirados de alguns especialistas no assunto.
No meu caso não sou especialista em diversos peixes, preferi concentrar minha experiência em um tipo de peixe apenas, o guppie, também conhecido como lebiste, este maravilhoso peixinho tem muitas particularidades e encanta em questão de reprodução.
A cada 28 a 35 dias tenho novos filhotes em meu aqua, atualmente estou pensando em montar mais um pois os dois que tenho estão ficando pequenos para a quantidade de exemplares que eu tenho, na minha cidade geralmente é calor então utilizo como regra, manter a água em 29 graus para quando acontecer uma queda de temperatura estes não sofrerem com a variação da temperatura que geralmente ocasiona doenças como o íctio. Mantendo esta temperatura, geralmente não tenho problemas com isso.
Posso afirmar que para iniciantes e para experientes em aquário este peixe é uma grande alternativa, pois encanta a todos.
Atualmente realizo TPA’s 1 vez por mês no demais apenas completo a quantidade de água com agua tratada para não haver cloro, utilizo Aquasafe, mas atualmente descobri um produto de uma industria quimica que retira o cloro da água e como em minha cidade não tenho problemas com metais pesados posso utilizar sem problemas este novo produto que sai bem mais em conta.

Nossa cachorrinha, a Lola tem apenas 2 meses. Faremos acompanhamento de sua vida! Abaixo um pouco da historia de sua raça:

O Lhasa Apso é uma raça antiga, criada durante séculos apenas pelos nobres e monges do Tibete. “Lhasa” é o nome da cidade sagrada da região e “Apso” poderá ter origem em cabra, devido à pelagem lanosa, ou “leão”, devido ao seu papel de protector de templos.
O Lhasa Apso é considerado um cão sagrado na sua Terra Natal. Os tibetanos acreditam que a alma de um homem virtuoso descansa no seu animal preferido, depois de morrer.
Como guarda de templos e mosteiros, ladrando furiosamente a desconhecidos, o Lhasa Apso é tido como um amuleto de boa sorte, mas teria de ser oferecido, não podia ser comprado. Assim, estes cães permaneceram desconhecidos do resto do mundo até ao início do século XX. Por volta da década de 1920, Dalai Lama começou a procurar apoios internacionais para a causa tibetana e ofereceu alguns cães desta raça como presente a diplomatas, sobretudo a britânicos.
A raça só se tornaria conhecida nos Estados Unidos da América uma década mais tarde. Mas a popularidade que conheceu foi imediata e em 1935 já tinha sido reconhecida pelo AKC, apesar de ter sido mal classificado como Terrier.

Um pouco sobre sua aparencia:
O Lhasa Apso é um cão de pequeno porte, cuja altura deverá ser de 25,4 cm de cernelha para os cães e um pouco menos para as cadelas.
A cabeça é larga, o focinho de tamanho médio e o nariz preto. Os olhos são pequenos, de cor escura e estão tapados pela pelagem da cabeça. As orelhas têm franjas e caem pendentes para cada lado da cabeça. Tem barba e bigodes compridos e de cor mais escura que o resto da pelagem. O pescoço é curto e guarnecido de uma juba. Os membros anteriores são verticais, e tal como os posteriores, estão totalmente tapados pelos longos pêlos. A cauda possui franjas e é mantida sobre o dorso.
A pelagem é comprida, lisa e pesada. As cores permitidas são o dourado, cor de mel, ardósia, areia, cinzenta, preta, branca ou castanha.

Um pouco sobre seu temperamento:
Tendo sido criado como um cão sentinela por monges budistas do Tibete, Lhasa Apsos tendem a estar atentos e ter um forte senso de audição com um rico, grandíloquo casca que desmente a sua dimensão (algumas são conhecidas como “cantantes”). Eles também podem mover muito silenciosamente, o que lhes permite deslocar-se sobre intrusos, bem como os familiares desavisados. O ideal é a Lhasa com temperamento muito cuidadadoso com estranhos sendo fiel aos mais próximos a eles. O Lhasa está no rank 68 em Stanley Coren’s A Inteligência dos Cães, sendo de trabalho equitativas / obediência inteligência.
Lhasa Apsos, embora pequenos, podem exibir breves períodos de energia explosiva. No entanto, Lhasas em geral não são uma das mais ativas raças de cão e, muitas vezes por horas sentado em um sofá-cama ou simplesmente para ouvir intrusos. A maioria dos Lhasa Apsos não gostam de longas caminhadas e que normalmente marcam um perímetro à ser verificado em intervalos freqüentes, em vez de um parque infantil. No entanto, em condições meteorológicas nevado seu património tibetano maio superfície. Com pesados cabelos protegendo os seus pés, eles são bastante confortáveis na neve e podem tornar-se mais divertidos do que são, em tempo quente. Tendo sido desenvolvido no terreno acidentado do Himalaia, são surpreendentemente seguros de confiança em terrenos quase verticais como falésias com uma confiança comparável à confiança de caprinos das montanhas. Indoors, muitos Lhasa Apsos desfrutam escalar diversos objetos.
A raça tem uma alta incidência do alfa instinto, o que leva a traços de personalidade única. Muitos Lhasa Apsos são altamente tolerantes de solidão.
Lhasa Apsos geralmente agir mais como fria, distante gatos do que a ideia estereotipada de um pequeno “, yappy” cão. Características de personalidade única Lhasa Apsos eles ganharam uma reputação em alguns círculos como sendo uma raça muito emotiva que, em alguns casos, revelar-se completamente destemido. Eles tomam o seu papel como guardiões da família muito a sério e podem ser muito assertivos sobre a não permitir que um visitante para entrar na casa.Esta característica, aliada à sua tolerância à solidão e baixo nível de energia, a raça se tornou popular com as pessoas que vivem sós em quartos pequenos.
Se devidamente treinado, o irá apreciar banho, pentear cabelos e recorte, más eles geralmente não gozam de banho ou nadar. O Lhasa Apso é uma raça de vida longa, com alguns vivos em boas condições de saúde em seus primeiros 20s. Existem alguns problemas de saúde específicos para a raça. Sua visão pode deteriorar com a idade mas não estão à vista e orientada para cães e eles suportar cegueira com poucas mudanças perceptíveis no comportamento.
Devido à tendência de alfa comportamento, um macho intacto Lhasa Apso pode ser extremamente dominante e agressivo para outros cães machos inteiros, ainda muito maiores, e obstinado sobre marcação território com urina. Neutering numa idade precoce é fortemente recomendada.

Sobre cuidados:
O Lhasa Apso é na generalidade um cão bastante saudável. Alguns dos problemas mais verificados na raça dizem respeito a mal formações nas articulações, complicações renais e oculares.
A abundante pelagem do Lhasa Apso exige cuidados particulares: o pêlo deve ser escovado todos os dias, de forma a eliminar riças que poderão causar infecções na pele. Este cão larga bastante pêlo durante todo o ano.

Fiz uma breve pesquisa nas petshops e na internet, e encontrei esse bebedouro para cães o mais bonitinho… é porque agora com dois, simples potinhos com água não são o suficiente.

Well I just sat down to eat pizza when Prince comes flying over and tries to eat it first.  I move him off, he comes back, I push him away gently, he comes back, I say “no Prince” he still comes back!  Cheeky sphinx!  My kitty cat as I’ve already said loves tomatoey stuff and all things Italian!! Now after badgering me for food and the dog keeping a close eye on the fact that the cat doesn’t get any, Prince is chasing his tail going round and round!

Küçükken lepisteslerimiz vardı. Her zaman içimde balık beslemenin güzel olduğuna dair, akvaryumun adamın stresini aldığına dair düşünceler vardı. 2 hafta önce kız arkadaşıma ufak 6 litrelik bir akvaryum aldırdım. ufak istedim çünkü hemen yatağımın yanındaki sehpaya koyup yatarken arada seyrederim diye. O ufacık akvaryuma 5 balık koymanın aptalca olduğunu hiç düşünmemiştim. Daha önceki fanus maceramızda balon moly adlı balıkla tanışmıştık. Fanusta yaşayamayacak olan moly yi 2-3 sene yaşar diyen petshop’çuya güvenerek almıştık. Canlıları bilgisayar parçası veya mp3 oynatıcısı alır gibi araştırmam gerektiğini öğrenmiş oldum.

Mevcut 6 litrelik mini akvaryuma bir adet suya oksijen katan şelale iç filtre taktık. 2 Adet ay moli (Poecilia latipinna) 2 adette black moli (Poecilia sphenops) birde arada temizlik yapar diye vatoz (Hypostomus plecostomus) attık. Aldığım süsler akvaryumda çok yer kapladığı için koymaktan vaz geçtim. Suyunu değiştirmem sırasında 4 cm dudak payı bulunan kaptan dışarıya atlayan ay moliyi tekrar akvaryuma koyduğumdan itibaren 2 gün yaşadı. Diğer ay molide 3 gün sonra sizlere ömür. Şu an 2 erkek black moli ve bir vatoz gül gibi geçinip gidiyorlar.

Bir ara dişi moly almayı düşünüyorum ama erkeklerden birini hayrına akvaryumcuya geri vereceğim. Onların daha büyük akvaryuma ihtiyacı olduğunu hissediyorum çünkü. İleride büyük bir canlı doğuran akvaryumuna sahip olacağım. Balık beslemek güzel birşeymiş. Bilmediğim şeyleri www.akvaryumforum.com ve benzeri sitelere göz atarak öğrenmeye çalışıyorum. Bundan sonra a blogumda  balık beslemekle ve balıklarımla ilgili konulara da yer ayıracağım.

A priori, ils sont censés être gentils ces petits cabots du petshop. Et il le furent. Coups de langue et poils qui restent dans les mains. C’était avant de passer à la toilette.
