And, let’s say that: he’s a genious! I’m not talking about talent. I said GENIOUS.

We’ve been waiting for so long!!!!!!!! Last album with THE STROKES dates back in 2006. Than Julian featured different projects: Albert Hammond Jr.’s “101″ and “Scared”, The lonely island’s “Boombox” (btw Andy Samberg is freaking cool!!!), Danger Mouse’s “Little girl” and “My drive through” featuring Santogold and Pharrel for Converse 100th anniversary.

But now we’ve got a solo album titled PHRAZES FOR THE YOUNG that will be released on October 19th in the UK and has already been performed live in Japan on august 31st.

In this video Julian talks about this new solo project but not only.

Word on pavement is that Pharrell and RiRi are working on something special in the studio and we are not talking about music.  Dude was/is in London over the weekend and the paps over their claim they are spending an interesting time together.  What could that all mean? It could me nothing.  But the UK Mirror said the following.  “It’s no secret that Rihanna and Pharrell have chemistry and not just in the studio – they seem mesmerized by each other. But Chris will be gutted to learn he could have lost Rihanna to one of the sexiest men in music. Rihanna and Pharrell talk on the phone all the time and whenever she can get a break in her schedule she’ll go and support him at a gig.” Pharrell is in his 30’s and RiRi is early 20’s. Age is a number, I guess.
