I missed out on last week’s photo challenge what with me being super busy, it was something that had been on my mind as it was asking for wintery scenes. When I woke up to a crispy frost covered morning late last week I made the most of an opportunity to take some photos of the frost covered trees in the gardens where I work.

This week’s challenge is ‘delicate’ and I think the above photo meets that challenge well, the delicate but stunning coloured berries against the frosty green of the leaves stand out well, showing that even in the most wintery of scenes nature is still beautiful. While most people stay inside when it’s cold I go out and take photos, enjoying the respite from the rain and wind.
