C’est de l’autosuggestion…laissez moi continuer…laissez moi j’vous dit…tout ce qui ne me tue pas me rend plus forte….paraît que l’autosuggestion est un moyen très très puissant pour stimuler les forces qui sont en nous et plutôt que de s’entretenir dans la négativité et le doute, elle permet de reveiller le positif qui ne demande qu’à grandir en nous…siii, c’est vrai!…c’est m’sieur Emile Coué qui a dit un truc dans l’genre…Coué de la célèbre méthode Coué…

Ce putain de positif …il veut pas grandir ce soir…il veut pas…il fait de l’obstruction…la grève du zèle…une grève sauvage et pugnace…et sauf votre respect m’sieur Nietzche…suis pas certaine certaine que toute cette douleur, ce bordel dans ma vie vont me rendre bien bien plus forte… là, j’ai comme un gros doute…s’affranchir du toument d’une présence…s’amputer d’une assassine absence…paraît que c’est ça être libre…mais pour tout vous dire, certaines libertés me séduisent, pour le reste, j’étais si bien attachée à lui…si bien…

Je me sens comme un lapin dépecé prêt à cuire, un poisson écaillé, un poulet éviscèré…une chose…je suis devenue une chose…mais si vous m’affirmez que tout ce qui ne me tue pas va me rendre plus forte…suis prête à me fouttre à poil au milieu de mon jardin…à raison de deux heures à neuf degrés, mes défenses en seront stimulées…

J’veux que ma colère dure…encore…encore…parce que dès qu’elle va faiblir, l’enfer sera à mes pieds.

Mais attendez m’sieur Coué, je reprends…

Hello bloggy friends

See this adorable, just been born, brand spanking new calf? Well, this is the cutest picture I have of it.

My question, for the photographically inclined among you, is; what is the cream coloured spot about? It doesn’t look crisp like my normal lens flare issues, so I wondered if anyone can demystify it for me?

It didn’t appear on any of the other photos.

Bird of Paradise - Strelitzia Reginae

One flower that I have been hoping to take some great photographs of is the Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia Reginae). I’ve taken many photos of Bird of Paradise at various botanical gardens, but until recently, hadn’t managed any photos that I was really happy with.

While visiting Longwood Gardens in October, I photographed the Bird of Paradise flowers in the Conservatory. I was surprised to see what looked like two flowers growing from one stalk since I’d never seen them growing like that before.

About a month later, I returned to Longwood Gardens – and finally took some pretty spectacular photos of the Bird of Paradise flowers. There were several plants that had multiple flowers on a one stem. I spoke with one of the gardening staff and at Longwood – and she showed me several of the twin flowering plants. The staff at Longwood Gardens is wonderful – they’re always happy to answer questions about what they’re growing.

I then took several photographs of individual Bird of Paradise flowers. I don’t ever recall seeing so many of these flowers in such great condition.

Having finally gotten the type of photograph I’ve been wanting to create – I tried photographing the flowers from different angles. Here’s one close in photo showing the intricate details of the petals.

And finally – my favorite photograph of the Bird of Paradise flower. This blossom was growing quite low to the ground compared to most of the other ones. So I tried photographing it from above. I love the way the petals resemble the flames on a torch – or the feathers of a bird.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing the photographs of the Birds of Paradise flowers as much as I enjoyed photographing them. While I’m sure I”ll take more photographs of this flower in the future, I’m not sure I’ll take photos that I like more than the ones I’ve taken recently.
