this will be my first post!!.yay!.well actually, it already obvious! it is already said in the title..haha..lol…

anyway!.. this will be my second or third blog that i made(i think?)..hehe..

ok!.. now, im going to introduce myself!…

my name is Denize..im seventeen yrs old!(im getting old? ayt??).i used to live in the philippines but right now, i live in my aunt’s house here in florida!(yeah! the sun!lol!)..i have a little sister, a mom, a dad, aunt’s,uncle’s and two grandma!! i dont have any grandpa anymore! T_T..so,basically these are the people responsible for the gifts i receive when there’s a holiday..XD.. i wish im a jew! because dont they receive alot of gifts during their passover? right??i mean those kids that are same age as me or younger?.. right?.. right?.. wait!.. happy passover!!!..haha.. im just kidding by the way!..sorry for my randomness!!..im happy being a catholic person!..

ok!..now, let’s go back to the main topic here..im gemini ( so, my birthday is on May..duhh??lol), ahmm.. i love taking pictures of the sunset i dont know why, it just amaze me the color of the clouds, the pink, the purple, the orange color that lit across the horizon and when the sky or the clouds turn into a blanket of blue and black..it’s just amazing right?..you better agree with me!..haha..just kidding!..o0ohh wait let me show you a picture of a sunset that i took weeks ago!!..did you see it?.. o0h.. i have to go now my mom wants me to sleep already eventhough it’s spring break!!.ok..bye bye!

Digital Camera White Balance Secret Revealed: Leaving you digital camera white balance set to ‘auto’ can be a big mistake and may result in disappointing results according to editors at DCMag.

Digital cameras, though, can compensate for different-colored lighting by altering the ratios of red, green and blue as the image is processed and saved.

Auto vs Preset

You shouldn’t leave your camera set to auto white balance permanently because it won’t always get it right. The camera will attempt to analyse the colours in the scene and ‘normalise’ them, but it can often fail to differentiate between the colour of the light and the intrinsic colours in the subject itself. In addition to this, it may attempt to compensate for atmospheric lighting conditions early or late in the day that are actually part of what you’re trying to record. Finally, where you do want to ‘normalise’ the colours, you’ll find that auto white balance systems usually fail to compensate for extremes of lighting, like the excessive warmth of domestic tungsten lighting or the pronounced ‘coldness’ of the light in deep shade. Indeed, you may find it better to choose your white balance settings manually to suit the conditions, because at least then you’ll know how the camera is going to respond.

Exploring HDR (high dynamic range) photos seems to be gaining momentum in photographic circles, both professional and amateur. HDR images present overall tone values that match the what the human eye records. Almost all digital and film cameras compromise when it comes to registering the overall tonal range of a particular scene. Until HDR anyone who has ever taken a photo understands that all cameras are limited in how much they can record. HDR breaks those barriers and present images that look very close to how they actually appeared in real life. Yes, it is an emerging artistic format, and yes, as more an more people begin to experiment with the process it will become easier for the average digital photographer to produce consistent HDR pictures.

Unfortunalty, to create an HDR photo requires specialized software, Photoshop CS2, which has a built-in HDR assembler and Photomatix a dedicated HDR software are two popular choices. There are those that believe that Photoshop is the superior HDR engine. One of the reasons is that Photoshop sophisticated tone-mapping capabilities creates more realistic looking images.
