Getting to the peak of the mountain (where I took this shot) took us more than 3 and a half hours. Unfortunately, we didn’t proceed to the monolith which was around 60 meters tall due to scarcity of time and lack of preparation (it’s either we rock/wall climb or use the rope there to reach the top). 17 more words

While the mountain itself is a relatively easy trek, the Monolith or “Toreng Bato” as some would call it can be a bit challenging. It will work to your advantage if you have superior upper body strength, or long legs (to make that steep first step) or have a friend who’s willing to push and pull you up. 48 more words
