As he had recently promised, Super Junior‘s Yesung enlisted quietly as possible.

SM Entertainment had announced, “His military training area is far away, and he wants to enlist quietly. The Super Junior members will not be accompanying him this time.”

Even though he enlisted quietly, hundred of fans from Korea and overseas gathered in front of his enlistment site.

As he wished for a quiet enlistment, Yesung didn’t exit his car and drove straight into the reserve enlistment site. He did tweet, “Thank you for coming so far.. I told you not to come.. Everyone, be healthy. See you again, ELF ^^”. Even though numerous media outlets stood in front of the driveway, they were unable to snap a photo of him.

The day Super Junior fans have dreaded has finally arrived.

May 6 marks the day when Yesung will start his military service. He previously mentioned through his agency that he wants to quietly leave for duty, but his fans still decided to go all the way to Jeolla Province to take a glimpse of their beloved celebrity and maybe send him off.

His fans represented many different countries, but all wrote messages in Korean varying from “Yesung, I’ll be here,” “I love you, I’ll wait,” “Oppa, I’ll wait for you.”

Quite a few Japanese fans bought airplane tickets and flew to Korea just for this occasion. The fans vary by age. There’s an ahjumma fan who brought her young child and there were high school students. One high school Japanese fan shared, “I came to Korea today to see Yesung. I’ll love him forever.”

Thanks to pure coincidence, the Shinhwa members ran into Super Junior’s Leeteuk during the filming of jTBC’s Shinhwa Broadcast.

On May 5’s episode of Shinhwa Broadcast, the Shinhwa members were given ten minutes to find a celebrity lookalike at Daejeon station.

As the Shinhwa members scrambled around the station to find a doppelganger, Andy spotted someone perfect, but was unfortunately unable to film the person and went on his way to find a different lookalike.

Lee Min Woo also spotted this person, finally revealing that it was Super Junior’s Leeteuk, who is currently serving in the military. Due to military restrictions, Leeteuk was not allowed to be filmed on camera, but his voice was aired through the broadcast, as he explained that he and Mighty Mouth’s Sangchoo were in the area for a promotional duty.

“I really wanted to say hi,” said Leeteuk to Lee Min Woo, who chatted with him for a little while.

Meanwhile, the Shinhwa members scurried around different cities in Daejeon, trying to complete missions for clues of the celebrity’s mother they would be cooking with.

Super Junior’s Yesung bid his fans goodbye on his twitter page the day before leaving for the military.

On May 5th, Yesung posted on his Twitter, “I will miss it all. Stages, songs… I look forward the day we meet again, ELF. No worries, love you all!”, and attached the above photo.

Yesung is leaving for the army today, May 6th. He will enter through the army division located in Jeonju and receive basic training for four weeks before serving as a public service worker for 23 months.

His final stage performance before enlistment was on March 24 for Super Junior’s “Super Show 5” performance in Seoul.

Lee Da Hae proved that she is very close to Heechul.

The May 4th episode of KBS2′s ‘Entertainment Weekly‘ visited the set of a Lee Da Hae photoshoot.

It is known that Lee Da Hae and Super Junior‘s Heechul are very close.  Lee Da Hae spoke on this saying, “Heechul is correctly serving his time in the army alternative service well.”
