Or, used to live in the city but moved to the 2nd largest town in another country (instead of Paris) and miss the city, and want your kids to know they’re city kids at heart (but not so much that they can’t run in the country and fall and get grass stains on their Stella McCartney for Gap Kids Kanga pants)? This Thorsten van Elten Pigeon Light is perfect for your kids’ room. Ok chances are you may like this even more than your kid. It has a nice clothespin grasper. I don’t have one. Khoi said “Do you really need that?” to which I said “yes?” but then didn’t buy it (yet?) (Christmas is coming.) (Possible gift for me, or for junior.)

My very first photo. Big Day Out, 2007.

A pigeon reduced me to the  state of sobness, with its delayed wings reaction ,it got under some its car who run it over,with its left-wing flapping ,it tried hard ,with  best intentions ,in fear of its life  ,it tried to fly away ..unable to ,it sadly looked around ,cried for help..at that minute ,I look at the poor thing , with a lump in my throat ,I tried hard shouting at the car to stop.

With Speedy Gonzales coming our way ..I stood in the middle of the road ,a red beret,red coat ,with my guitar hanging at my back and a seven year olds roller blades I became the traffic warden ,reduced to tears by a pigeon ..hanging on to  its dear life ,with my quivering lip I stop the first car ,the tabloid brain wash suddenly kicked in ..a voice said ..

what if it’s carrying A dicease  ,bird flu? another voice said ,look at it ,its going home to  its  mother and father ,maybe brothers and sisters..by this time I had managed with the bird in my arms ,hiding the wimpness of tears. crossed over .

I placed bob the pigeon on the grass..I wondered what to do next?  should   I  call the RSPCA?,reality check kicked in ,dont be silly it  said ,they wont just come for a dying pigieon..I walked across ,went into the nearest house ,with the earlier description of me ,I wasnt  surprised  to come across an unopened door  ,in case I  start singing cumbaya..

I had to go and leave the  pigeon to be ,I hope it survived ,flew home to mum and dad ,if it dies ,I will be distraught , listened to my inner voice ..

Two British men have been fined for throwing pigeons in the air at a market in Krakow, Poland. The birds were unable to open their wings, which then broken when they fell to the ground. The pair of men both pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and were fined 600 zlotys each. It was not known whether the pigeons survived.
