Marc was completely focused on Rugby! And Janine was focused on having a pink wedding! The best time to distract the groom… This lovely and out going couple chose cerise pink and white as the colours for their wedding day. We included a hint of orange into the flowers just to break the cerise and included willow for a more natural feel. The main flower of choice was the gorgeous and ever happy Gerbera daisies which added great colour and fun to the whole room. Janine added a personal touch, incorporating beautiful beaded key rings and hearts for the table numbers.

The bright and happy colours reflected in the flowers and decor showcased the fun, loving and exciting personalities of the couple.

Pink anemones with navy centers fit the color palette and distinguished Erin’s bouquet from the others of ranunculus, garden roses, peonies and dahlias. The bride carried a similar, but larger bouquet of coxcomb, roses, tulips and dahlias, with some cream and red-tipped roses tucked in.

The Inspiration: ButterfliesStriped ribbon and paper butterflies accent this bouquet of dark pink peonies, pink garden roses, Leonidas‘ roses and orange freesia.  To match her romantic dress, Zena loosely tied roses and in-season red and pink flowers. Hot pink added color to the black-and-white theme. The girls’ bouquets included peonies, dahlias, and roses, and the striped ribbon tied around it brought the whole look together. A departure from her main colors, Jaimie‘s pink bouquet stood out from the navy and aqua details. Since her favorite flower, peonies, were out of season, her florist gave her the same lush look with English and garden roses. Allison filled her summer bouquet with ivory and pink roses with berry accents. The bridal bouquet consisted of white roses, white mini calla lilies, and pink orchids, while the bridesmaid bouquets were made up of different shades of white, pink, and red roses. Ragan gave her florist (a friend of her family‘s) free reign for the decor -- as long as the bulk of the flowers were pink. "I was a little pickier about my bouquet, which ended up being various shades of pink roses dotted with pearled stephanot... Danika carried a bouquet of fuchsia roses with bright green hypericum berries, and her maids carried similar bouquets with freesia. The only tough spot was the flowers. "I couldn‘t have pure white flowers, because of my dress -- and I did not want roses!" Carla says. Her florist came up with a gorgeous compromise: cymbidium orchids with godetia. Amy carried a bouquet of coral-colored roses and white hydrangeas and peonies. Brooke carried a bouquet of roses and orchids in shades of pink and red. Crystals were strewn among the flowers, and orchids also hung down from the bouquet. The night before the wedding, the couple held a mehendi party, where Brooke and her maids receive... "I was nervous about everything coordinating and looking right, but I shouldn‘t have worried at all!" Sarah says. "Dragonfly created the most beautiful, vivid bouquets and arrangements I have ever seen." The bride carried a bouque...

Red

(I love this one. It is so simple but it makes such a great statement due to the contrast)

A lush bouquet of deep red roses was simple, elegant and matched the celebration’s color palette. “I love how the flowers really stood out next to my dress,” says Holly.

In lieu of traditional flowers, Carrie carried a bright red bouquet of paper blooms, designed by the matron of honor.  Emily embellished her red paper wedding bouquet with red ribbon and crystals. She and her mom and sister made all of the bridal party’s flowers.

Jason arrived a few minutes early to get his white rose boutonniere pinned on the lapel of his tan linen suit.  He was just plain cute as he grinned from ear to ear with excitement!  He beamed as he told me he and Janie were expecting a new baby and she had not told him yet whether it was a boy or a girl.  He said she had decided to surprise him at the elopement and he thought it could possibly be by the color of her bouquet.  “Well, we’ll just wait and see, then!” I said.  

Jason and the photographer, Luke, took the sandy path down to the beach, along with his friends and waited for Janie to arrive. 

 

I love a good secret!  A pale pink bouquet of gerber daises, hydrangeas, and babiesbreath!  It’s a girl!

 

Janie wore a white strapless sundress and white flip flops and carried her pink bouquet for Jason’s big surprise.  Her mom and sister, along with her tiny niece led the way so Janie could make her appearance.  Jason was peeping over and around the driftwood to get his first glimpse of his beautiful bride and to finally know… it’s a girl!  As Janie walked to the chosen spot, Jason could not contain himself any longer and hurried to meet her to scoop her up with a big hug and kiss.  Tears welled in his eyes as they both walked over to be joined in marriage forever.
