• Todo lo que brilla: La Federación de la Costura Francesa anunció esta semana que durante la próxima edición de la Fashion Week de Haute Couture se incluirán las presentaciones de las creaciones más extravagantes de las joyas de Boucheron, Cartier, Chanel joyería, Chaumet, Christian Dior.

La Fédération dice que la adición de estas piezas creará una “verdadera semana de lujo”.

El próximo 28 de enero (la próxima edición de la semana de la moda se lleva a cabo del 24 al 28 de ese mes) será exclusivamente dedicado a las presentación de los joyeros.

El último escándalo photoshopero esta vez es protagonizado por la Revista W, la actriz de 47 años Demi Moore y la modelo Anja Rubik.

Al parecer, según dicen los que quieren opinar, la portada de la última edición de W estaría retocada de manera exagerada: arrugas, caderas, ¡hasta el cuerpo entero!

Los representantes de W  declararon que  ”no se hizo nada raro o fuera de lo común en Demi Moore para la foto en la portada”.

Sin embargo muchos se han preguntado qué es exactamente lo que la revista hizo para que la cadera de Demi casi desapareciera de la foto, luego la falta de cualquier tipo de arrugas en la cara o el cuerpo de Demi, en particular el área de la axila (lo normal para una mujer de 47-años).

La teoría ha ido un poco más lejos y distintos medios sugieren que la Revista W photoshopeó la cara de Demi en el cuerpo de Anja Rubik, la modelo que lució el mismo vestido en el desfile de Balmain.

Según la revista “no hay necesidad de contratar a Demi Moore que haga una tapa para luego cambiarla totalmente” pero los expertos en retoques fotográficos de las celebridades dicen que esto sucede muy a menudo.

La obsesión por mostrar una imagen de eterna juventud está completamente fuera de control.

la edición 2010 del  Calendario Pirelli ya ha salido a luz, este año fotografiado por primera vez por el desinhibido y audaz Terry Richardson quién ha tomado las instantáneas, al igual que su última editorial de la Revista Purple dónde se ve una orgía de chicas, con reconocidas modelos… desnudas.

first thing to make clear for those who don’t know me very much is that i love nudity pictures. one of my future goals as a researcher is to study representations of body and also to distinguish erotic nudity from porn nudity at its different degrees. which doesn’t mean i may not appreciate porn in some cases. i am actually interested in representations of sexual nudity out of heterosexism. so, what i mean now, my negative review of 2010 pirelli calendar is not because of puritanism or feminism.

my negative opinion is first of all because of a sense of disappointment towards photographer terry richardson, the author of the calendar. he is a very trendy photographer, one of the most sought of at the moment. yet, while i have loved his ironic provocative raw xxx-shots and his fashion editorials done in collaboration with vogue paris stylists, i definitely think he gets lost when he should stay at a less strong level than pure representation of sex. let’s say he can’t shoot erotism, he can only shoot sex. his imagery is pornographic.

at this point we should have a definition for what erotism is and for what porn is. i don’t think i am so good with those definitions yet, but for sure it seems that while erotism is more like a promise of sex, a hint at something-to-come, a game between veiled and unveiled, shadow and light, reality and mystery, porn is a matter of sexual evidence. from the highest degree of genital close-ups to the softer degree of imitations of sexual acts (for instance with particular positions or phallic objects), porn seems to deal with explicit contents. again, i am not saying eros is good, porn is bad. and those look like the extreme concepts, then you may get a mixture of eros and porn.

going through the many editions of pirelli at their site – as i have done with pleasure a few times – you get it that pirelli has steadily done with erotism more than with porn. even in those early years when it was aimed to tuckers and mechanics, there was more a promise of sex than a representation of it. that doesn’t mean it was always classy, cos i see ppl tend to confuse erotism with class and elegance, which isn’ true. erotism may be trashy too and partially early pirelli was.  so, if 2010 calendar was aimed to recover the spirit of early pirelli, it’s a failure. cos this year we have porn, not eros. this year we have richardson.

failure comes from another point too though: not only this calendar is soft-porn with its use of phallic objects and poses of butts and bodies ready to be penetrated, instead of being erotic as in the pirelli tradition, but it’s also a poor pornographic thing. lack of ideas is evident: there is a sense of repetition, of random, of boredom. there is no sexual joy in those pics, but like it is like a gallery of naked young women pretending to be joyful and ironic. that leads to a further point, concerned with the young age of the girls, but i will talk about it in the next post. for the moment let me say that one of the best things in terry’s porn shots is their life, like sex is exploding in the pics, be it joyful or just miserable. that’s the realistic porn i love in terry. here it’s not fish neither flesh. it’s just a full lack of ideas and pics don’t create any representative system. i remember last year i was rather negative at 2009 calendar too (apart from daria’s sub-calendar that was great), but at least there was an idea behind, pictures were linked in an authorial project. here there is nothing of it.

so result is a poor clumsy porn with an additional disturbing lolitic effect i will deal upon next time!

Concretamente me acordé de un anuncio de televisión que me pareció espectacular en su momento.
Total, que me he puesto a buscarlo sin muchas esperanzas, porque habiendo pasado más de diez años no creía poder encontrarlo en Youtube. Pero mira por dónde, allí estaba y me he sorprendido de la calidad que sigue teniendo a día de hoy. Perfectamente lo podrían emitir mañana y seguiría siendo totalmente actual. Lo mismo que el tema de Chemical Brothers que lo acompaña, “Elektrobank”.

La potencia sin control no sirve de nada, así que ya sabéis, llevad buenas gomas…

Por tercer año consecutivo, la aerolínea de bajo coste Ryanair publica su polémico calendario de azafatas, anuario que este año tiene de fondo España. Nuevas tripulantes de cabina de la compañía aérea posan para el calendario del año 2010, cuyos beneficios irán dirigidos a la asociación benéfica ‘Kids’, que da apoyo a niños discapacitados.Este año las fotos han sido tomadas en la base alicantina de Ryanair. Con el título ‘Cabin Crew Charity Calendar’ (Calendario de Caridad de la Tripulación de Cabina), la aerolína espera vender en sus vuelos unos 11.000 ejemplares a un precio de 10 euros.

Pero Raynair no son los únicos. A la moda de los calendarios se le ha unido la compañia de neumaticos Pirelli. Este año el famoso calendario vuelve a sus exóticos orígenes rememorando aquellas sugerentes imágenes de los 60 y 70, cuando las modelos eran retratadas en playas salvajes de forma natural, espontánea y simple. Los que tuvieron oportunidad de ver el making of de la producción hace unos meses ya se pudieron hacer una idea; pero seguro que ni aún así imaginaron las potentes imágenes (y mujeres) que este año encierra entre sus páginas. Lily Cole, Miranda Kerr, Catherin McNeil o Georgina Stojilijtoric son algunas de las 11 ‘tops’ que se han sometido a la provocadora mirada del fotógrafo Terry Richardson, que, acostumbrado a moverse en el reino de lo explícito, eligió las paradisíacas playas brasileñas de Porto Seguro para romper con la inocencia estudiada de sus angélicos rostros. La presentación ha tenido lugar en Londres.

Visto lo visto, no dudaría en afirmar que a más de uno le está entrando ganas de hacerse un viajecillo por Raynair o cambiarle los neumáticos al coche por unas buenos…..¡¡ Pirelli !!

O famoso calendário Pirelli, versão mais phyna dos calendários de borracharia, que todos os anos reúne algumas das modelos mais importantes do mundo e algum super fotógrafo, vai ter a cara do Brasil em 2010. O fotógrafo Terry Richardson esteve em Trancoso para fotografar 11 mulheres, entre elas as brasileiras Gracie Carvalho e Ana Beatriz Barros.

Terry Richardson já publicou também um livro todo fotografado no Rio, que chama “Rio, Cidade Maravilhosa”. Vários famosos participaram das fotos como Luiz Brunet, Camila Pitanga, Dervy Gonçalves e Thaila Ayala, que disse ter se arrependido de participar.

A 37ª edição do calendário Pirelli convidou o fotógrafo safadinho Terry Richardson para fazer um ensaio pra lá de sexy em Trancoso, na Bahia. Ui! Já caiu na rede algumas fotos prévias e dá pra ver que te muito verde muito coqueiro, muita preguiça (?!) e até uma galinha preta (porque a Bahia é dessas).  Epêpêo!
