ya se había dado la noticia de que Resident Evil: Alternative Edition saldría a manera de contenido descargable [DLC] para las consolas de Microsoft y Sony, después que siempre no, que este título sandría en formato físico… en lo que se deciden aquí les dejo estas imágenes:

Yo espero que se concentren en renovar el sistema de juego de RE porque eso de no poder moverte mientras apuntas me llevo a dejar el juego a las pocas horas.

IGN reports that the classic Capcom beat-em-up is making it’s return. Despite the name, this is not a new or updated version of Final Fight, but rather a double pack consisting of the original versions of Final Fight and the much lesser known (and not as good) Magic Sword, which is also a side scrolling beat-em-up.

So both games are in the one download, and both boast two visual modes. One is the normal untouched graphics and the other will “make the games shine in crisp and clear HD glory”. So a filter like Super Eagle then I guess. Leaderboards and drop-in online play are present in both games.

Release date and pricing has yet to be announced.

PSP Minis è una simpatica raccolta di mini-giochi ad un prezzo contenuto e dall’assoluta praticità. I titoli presenti in questa collezione centrano in pieno, e molto più di altri, il concetto stesso di “portatilità“, cogliendone la vera essenza. Non a caso ne sono già stati rilasciati di altri e così avverrà anche nel prossimo futuro. Il progetto prevede infatti l’apertura di una sezione apposita presso il PlayStation Store, ove scaricare questi titoli che, ricordiamo, non possono superare i 100 MB.

Giochini, quindi, alla portata di tutti e ai quali tutti possono concedersi per tanto o per poco tempo, a seconda dei propri gusti o esigenze. In un primo tempo ci si è chiesto se questo nuovo canale potesse fungere da brillante valvola di sfogo per tutte quelle piccole realtà, indipendenti e non, che hanno voglia di fare ed una creatività all’altezza di questi loro propositi.

Il risultato, come avremo modo di appurare, riesce nella misura in cui non tradisce le premesse poste. Difficile, se non impossibile, disporre solo ed esclusivamente di progetti di alto livello, ma in generale il quadro risulta di buona fattura prima ancora che incoraggiante.

In mezzo a tanta carne al fuoco, emergono taluni titoli che non hanno vergogna di mostrarsi per ciò che sono, vale a dire poco più che dei rifacimenti. In certi casi trattasi, a nostro modesto avviso, di scelte un po’ azzardate, mentre in altri non possiamo esimerci dal premiare lo sforzo profuso e l’ingegno nell’essersi serviti dell’opera originale “tanto quanto basta”.

Hey readers, I’m picking up a power level…Could it be…OVER 9000?! Okay sorry, had to do it. But what we’re really picking up is some downloadable content for Dragon Ball: Raging Blast! And you don’t need a scouter for that, in fact, you need nothing at all. It’s free! Thanks Namco Bandai for being so generous. Amidst all of the DLC out there that will usually cost you just for silly things like lame costumes and such, it’s nice to see some free DLC every now and then. Especially some that you can actually appreciate. With these DLC packs come a plethora of customizations with new power-ups for all your favorite DBZ characters. Here’s the word from Namco, along with a list of descriptions for the DLC packs and their release dates:

NAMCO BANDAI Games will release a series of free DLC packs for Dragon Ball: Raging Blast for Xbox 360 and PS3. The first pack in the series is now available on PlayStationNetwork and will be ready for download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 on Nov. 26, 2009. The series includes customized character packs that will be released as free downloadable content every two weeks between now and April 2010. Each pack will include customized versions of popular characters, each with different powered-up abilities, which can be used in exciting versus battles in the game.

The following customized Dragon Ball character packs will be available for free download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 and PlayStationNetwork biweekly (note: packs will be available on same days for both platforms, except holidays as noted):

Muchos rumores son los que corren sobre Sony y PSN por la red, uno de los más populares y que han hecho saltar la alarma de miles de usuarios es sobre que Sony planea poner de pago los servicios de su PlayStation Network, que hasta ahora a sido siempre gratis, de pago. Según los rumores este nuevo plan habría sido presentado por la multinacional japonesa en la última reunión de inversores.

Con esta medida planean incrementar el volúmen de sus ingresos, o dicho de forma más clara: para ganar mas dinero a costa de nosotros.

Por ahí leí que el juego online de Tekken 6 dejaba mucho que desear, pues ahora con esta actualización probablemente se solucionen los errores que dejaron los programadores…

Namco bandai por medio de un comunicado de prensa a informado que este mismo día 26 estará llegando el primer parche que traerá las siguientes mejoras:

• Respuesta mejorada: se ha mejorado la respuesta del juego a la pulsación de botones y la realización de técnicas.
• Selección de prioridades en partidas igualadas: los jugadores podrán indicar las prioridades en la búsqueda de oponentes en las partidas igualadas, basándose en el ranking o en la calidad de la conexión, así como el país de origen.
• Transmisión de datos optimizada entre luchadores y espectadores: se optimizarán los datos de combate para reducir la carga sobre el ancho de banda de la consola del anfitrión.
• Barras para indicar la calidad de la conexión: la barra que indica la intensidad de la señal reflejará la calidad de la conexión con mayor precisión.
• Poder cancelar un combate: en las partidas igualadas, los jugadores podrán cancelar un combate antes de que empiece, una vez se haya mostrado la barra de intensidad de la conexión.

Namco bandai también a querido agradecer a todos los jugadores de Tekken 6 por los comentarios y criticas hacía el juego ya que con ello han podido resolver algunos de los fallos del juego. Que tiernos…

Guy, Cody y Adon se presentan y verlos en 3D es todo un hit, yo me sigo preguntando… ¿Valdrá la pena comprar este nuevo Street Fighter por los personajes que ahora van a incluir? O sea… Si se están llevando al baile gacho a los gamers porque estos personajes es obvio que ya estaban desarrollados desde hace mucho tiempo.

Erik Estavillo, this is for you.

Back in July this year, Game Politics reported on the case of one Erik Estavillo, a gamer who attempted to sue SCEA for allegedly violating his free speech and stealing his money.

Thankfully, common sense prevailed and the case was thrown out in September, although it didn’t stop Estavillo from appealing. It’s comforting to know, at least, that in this lawsuit-happy world we now live in, no lawyer was stupid enough to represent him.

Of course, not content with wasting the US Legal system’s time twice, Estavillo is at it for a third time with probably his most ludicrous claims yet (of course, I could be proven wrong given time if he files yet another case).

This time his complaint revolves around his inability to afford repairs to his 360 which has suffered from the dreaded RROD (although he’s probably not the first to have attempted this, I’ll wager), which, in itself isn’t as ridiculous as his other complaint – that of Nintendo interfering his “pursuit of happiness” as his Wii no longer plays his Homebrew Channel or Ocarina Application, both of which I would assume are 3rd party, unofficial software hacks.

At least the knobber who had his chipped 360 banned from Xbox Live only moaned to the press about it.

Let’s raise a glass to Erik Estavillo, king of the Douchebags.

As mentioned before, a couple thousand lucky people were given early access to the Xbox 360  Bayonetta demo at the beginning of the month.  The good news is that all the people who didn’t feel like signing up for a Sega Pass just for a chance for the early download code won’t have to wait too long for a public demo as it was announced that the 360 and PS3 demo are slated to be available for download on Dec/03/2009.  The game so far has been a critical darling and looks to carry that momentum over to their Jan/05/2010 North American release and now a month before it’s release, anxious gamers will be able to get a glimpse of perfection (at least according to Famitsu and Edge UK).  Sean C.

SEGA of America Inc. and SEGA Europe Ltd. can today announce that a demo for the much anticipated third person action title BAYONETTA will be released on Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network in the US and across Europe on December 3rd.

So it looks like the PS3/Xbox 360 arguement of the PSN being free may be slowly coming to an end.

It has been confirmed (original article from Engadget, link at the bottom) that Sony is going to start offering a “premium” pay service to the PlayStation Network that will leave existing services intact and free, but add new stuff for a monthly fee.  Now, my question is, how long before they start moving services from the “free” category to the “premium” category.  Check out the full article at the link below and let us know what you think!

Kotaku recently posted news about a new Dynasty Warriors title set for release in February. This insanely addictive button mashing “strategy” game has been the focal point of my shelves for countless years.
