As many of you know Kay and Alex saved two dogs from the dog fighting scum who lived next door and then got arrested. Alex took in Bhaaloo and Kay took in little momma, who we renamed Amyrah.

Both Pooches where obviously abused. Bhaaloo seemed to have recovered better from it then poor Amyrah she was so timid, terrified of men and scared of her own Shadow.

As you guys might remember the fool who owned her prior had all his dogs chained to trees without shelter and often without food or water. At some point he put out one oil barrel for all four dogs that was never used by any of them because it had the tendency to roll down the hill and he never bothered to retrieve it.

Kay started feeding the pooches because we could not look at them every day and watch them suffer.Then I (Alex)organized dog houses for them as part of our give a pooch house program.

Two months went by where we had to watch the pooches miserable little lives, Amyrah’s chain was far too big for her and she would drag it behind her like the ball and chain of death. She was terrified of it so she would move slowly because she hated the sound it made.
Then Mario was arrested and we deliberated long what could be done …As you know Bhaaloo went to live with Me (Alex) and Amyrah first moved into one of our outside pens.

Slowly she warmed up to Kay, but it was a very painful process. Poor Amyrah was terrified and any wrong move could send her to crawl into her doghouse

A few days before Halloween We decided to bring her into the house because there was talk of idiots targeting Pitbulls on Halloween and we did not want to take a chance that the little girl could get hurt.
Amyrah was so grateful and happy and she got on so well with Kay and Tim’s cats that they decided to keep her inside permanently. She has not been integrated into their pack yet but we are working on it

At this point she is trusting and stable enough that we can finally take her to our vet. The last 2 months however have depleted our veterinary budget and we are hoping that maybe some of you can help us with her upcoming vet bill she will need to get a full physical including heartworm test and her shots.
We are thinking everything will run around $150-200. If you could contribute toward this we would be more than thankful as you know we are not a non profit yet and 99% is coming out of our own pockets.

Wer hat persönliche Erfahrungen mit oder Wissen über Brasilien?

Alle Eltern, Schüler und Lehrer sind herzlich eingeladen, ihre eigenen Erfahrungen oder Kenntnisse von Brasilien an die Pintafel der PTA (Annenkampus, Haus B, neben dem Getränkeautomat) zu hängen. Es wäre schön, wenn stetig neue Informationen dazukommen, die uns das Land auf eine ganz andere, nämlich persönlich erfahrene Weise

After getting home, I had the chance to go to my home church, one day of freedom to run about in the crunchy leaves, then rake them out of the driveway, and remember how lovely fall and scarves are together before checking in to the James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University Medical Center. The entire hospital is dedicated to treating cancer patients so I get more freedom to wander the building and in a way, the energy is very different because everyone is like me and no one is bothered by a bald head or a mask. My doctors specialize in treating my exact cancer and are two of the most intelligent women I’ve ever met and I feel very confident with the quality of care I am receiving. Word on the street is that the OSU football players come to visit the Fridays of home games and if I happen to be here for one of those Fridays, I will get you a signed poster Prof. Young.

I’m in the middle of the second cycle of chemotherapy and should be released Monday night or Tuesday morning. It does look like I get to spend a good portion of time at home between inpatient visits, but I have to come back at least twice a week for outpatient procedures, which is a lot of gasoline and a lot of opportunities for bad weather so please be in prayer about both of those things. Also, this particular chemo drug I am on right now can cause brain damage if it is not flushed out of my system as quickly as possible so please pray there is little to no difficulty getting the blasted stuff out of me. A praise would be that my platelet counts were finally high enough that they are able to start the spinal chemotherapy they wanted to do in Florida. I learned that my particular kind of leukemia tends to hide cells in the brain and spinal fluid and doing those injections is an extremely successful way to get rid of any of those cells and prevent me from going into a relapse later down the road, so while they are not fun, they are well worth the benefits. Thank you again for your continued prayers and support, I am so blessed.

You will have only 1 of 2 issues if your not Earning Money Online.

1.) You don’t have Traffic or Leads.

2.) You have Traffic and Leads but No Sales.

If you don’t have Traffic or Leads then you need to pick up the work. Place more ads Online, do Offline Marketing, do Paid Marketing, or your probably Chasing/Turning people off by what and how your advertising. 

If you have Traffic or Leads but No Sales then its because your Sale Presentation or Sale Funnel wasn’t strong enough to explain, inspire, motivate, give comfort, and etc. In other words, Convert. This is why its not recommended to try and close sells yourself unless you have an proven strategy.

Also, you must have a ratio of 50 Opt-In Leads or more to bring any sales. So if you have 20 Opt-In Leads then you may have real go getters in that list so its possible to have 1-2 signups. Otherwise, don’t let off until your hitting 10+ Opt-Ins a day.

If you have your Opt-In ratio and a proven Sales Funnel and your leads are still not converting then there not Targeted Leads. You want people interested in what you have to offer.

Your Followup Email is crucial. I have people that saw my ad 2 months ago still signup to this day because of my followup. Be sure to make it personalize to “The Science of Network Marketing”! These are the basic principles to your Success.

I’ve shown you the way..You have to walk the Path!

After the cabin burned down last year, all of our elderly dogs had to be kept in our Kennel manager’s kitchen, we simply had no where else to keep them. We would like to avoid having to do this again, this winter!

It’s been almost exactly one year to the day since the fire, and after alot of set backs, we are FINALLY able to re-build. We need to work quickly because we need this building for the coming winter. It was, and will be again, our only heated building. Our older dogs and very young dogs, and some of our cats, will be kept there, so they are comfortable and warm over the winter.

Construction is going really well, we have had some wonderful volunteers helping Bob, our president, who is overseeing and organizing the construction.

The foundation has been poured, the wooden frame for walls and roof are in place, and we have begun putting in the insulation. Last weekend we ran out of insulation and work has come to a halt. We are raising the money needed to buy 14 rolls of R19 15″ and 18 rolls of R38 23″ insulation, as well as 54 sheets of fire-resistant sheetrock.

Diese Datenbank soll Informationen von Eltern enthalten, d.h. dort werden freiwillige Angaben über Talente, Erfahrungen, etc. zu finden sein. In der Zukunft soll es dadurch einfacher werden, Familien gezielt anzusprechen, besonders bei der Planung von Veranstaltungen (Science Day oder Sportevents) oder bei Erfahrungsaustausch.
In den nächsten Tagen erhalten alle Familien einen PTA Brief mit den wichtigsten Informationen, entweder als Beilage im Elternbrief der Klasse 6-12 oder im “Wednesday Folder”.

Good morning everyone, I am so grateful that Hurricane Sandy has finally passed over  and is gone. It has been a very frightening time not only for me and my family but also for everyone living on the east coast. My home was without electricity for 24 hours, and I am very thankful that our power came back on last night. My children were really great through this whole experience and I am so thankful that they were not too scared about what was going on and that we were able to stay with my sister and her family and just make it through this experience.

So many people have been affected by the harsh and terrifying storm that swept over us over the past few days. My prayers go out to the families who lost their loved ones during the hurricane and also to those who lost their homes.

This is definitely a time for everyone to come together, pray and help out as much as possible in any way that they can because so many people have lost so much during these past few days.

Kevin’s mum, Anne Williams, has spent every single day since then waking up thinking about the Hillsborough disaster. She wasn’t able to grieve properly, because she knew the official version of events was a lie and that her son could have been saved had medical intervention not been with-held. Anne has spent 23 and a half long, tiring years putting in super-human effort to try and to get to the truth about how & why her son died. The truth should have been a basic human right in death, and for Kevin and the other 95 victims it should have been readily available on the day of the 15th April 1989. It wasn’t available, because the South Yorkshire Police were culpable and they lied and covered-up their actions in order to shift the blame from themselves onto the fans.

Hillsborough is the biggest cover-up in British legal history & on the 12th September 2012, David Cameron stood up in parliament and told the world the truth about the Hillsborough disaster. The PM’s words were educated by the Hillsborough Independent Report which was released on that day, and it concluded that the Liverpool fans were in no way to blame for the disaster, and the police lied and covered-up the facts. The truth was out.

This is a picture of Anne Williams (left) and Margaret Aspinall just after the Hillsborough Independent Report contents was revealed their findings. The truth was out, but the truth is only half of the battle.

Next had to come justice. Those who failed in their duty of care, those who lied to shift the blame, and those who perverted the course of justice needed to be held accountable. Justice was the only decent destination to arrive at once the truth was widely accepted.

Last week, Anne Williams announced to the world that she was suffering from terminal cancer. A woman who has been forced to spend nearly a quarter of a century campaigning to have her son’s name cleared, and the inquest verdict of accidental death over-turned, announced that she might not live to see justice done. She doesn’t want to know how long she has left so she can enjoy what time she has left with her family.The strength, courage and faith that Anne has displayed over the past 23 years has inspired so many, including myself. Being a dad myself, I don’t know how I would have continued to live, let alone fight in their honour for so long.

If you agree with me that it is simply unacceptable that the inadequacies and lethargy of the British legal system should rob Anne of the chance to finally see justice for her little boy before she dies, please, please, please sign the government petition to have Kevin Daniel Williams inquest looked at as a matter of urgency.

It will take you less than 2 minutes, and it means so much to a mother who just waved her son off to watch a football match, and as a consequence endured 23 years of hell.

Please help. Don’t let Anne be the latest family member to die before seeing justice served for their loved ones.

Before I know it, I am watching this video and it feels as if I AM the man in the video, sitting on the sidewalk. I have a sign at my side stating: “I’m Blind, Please help.” I can hear the pitter-patter of shoes clicking by me and birds chirping and flapping; I can hear the sound of horns from vehicles and water flowing through a fountain; and I can hear people hurriedly slinging change down at my feet.

As people continue to pass, I hear a specific pair of heels walk past, then immediately turn around and come back towards me. Whoever this girl is, she kneels in front of me and doesn’t say a word. I hear her pick up my sign and write on it. As she is writing I place my cold hands onto her shoes and can feel how shiny and polished they are. The lady finishes writing on my sign and then she just walks away.

Soon after the lady walked away, I hear the pitter-patter of several shoes walking and the sound of dropping change, change, and more change down at my feet and in my coffee can. This continues to happen for quite some time. Later on in the day, I hear what I think to be the same heels from earlier. I turn my head and ask, “What did you write on my sign?” She replies, “The same thing, just different words.”

Try to place yourself in each persons shoes, the blind man, the hurried people walking by that gave change, the people that never stopped to help, and the one lady that changed the sign. We often get so busy in our lives we forget how truly blessed we are!

We have the abilities to see, to write, to feel, to hear, to taste, and we all have the ability to make a difference. Would you care enough to be that lady that made a difference Would you take time out of your busy schedule to stop and change a few words?

If you are a salesman, do you truly understand the magnitude of the words you use? This video shows 4 words not making a difference, altered to 8 words that changed not only this man’s life, but the people walking by him as well. Are you using your heart, creativity, and power of words that you are capable of using?

I am sorry to not have written in almost a week. I was tied to a tree and left alone all week. No one to take pictures of me, no one to feed me, no one to play with, no one to walk me, no one in my pack. Just all alone bymyself and hurt. Maybe I was bad? Maybe I did something wrong?

It is awful scary and cold being all alone at night tied to a tree in some park far away from home. Well at least my mom and dad stopped beating me.

Now if you all just send me $100.00 each then they say it will get all better and I can come home and they will love me again.

Life Lesson: DON’T believe everything you read. (sorry for the emotional sob story)
