Their intimate ceremony held at the Andalusian Courtyard of the Loews Lake Las Vegas was accented with oranges and yellows that fit in perfectly with the desert setting. We used hardy blooms such as mokara and cymbidium orchids, and callas to with stand the heat and give a sleek modern look.

When I heard she was coming back to Vegas for WPPI this year I jumped all over the chance at putting together a photo shoot for Amy and some of her photographer friends to shoot. We got the girls of Plush Weddings and Events involved in the planning process and came up with a decedent vibe for a roof top wedding. Our friends at Trump International were so kind to let us take over their outside deck and transform it into this sweet little wedding set up.
The timing of this shoot worked out perfectly because we were able to make full use of some of our favorite seasonal flowers including peonies, parrot tulips, daffodils, ranunculus, amaryllis, and garden roses. The gold vases and trims that we used pulled the look together so well.

Lacey and Kaila of Plush wanted to come up with some way to display escort cards that was a little different and fun so we collaborated to create this floral accented lamp.

The candy bar provided by For the Love of Candy (check them out on facebook) was so cute. Than to top it off with a couple of adorable cakes by Gimme Some Sugar made it perfection.

Jen had a ton of great inspiration and oozed style, she knew what she wanted but was open to ideas and an element of surprise.Fast forward to Saturday October 9, 2010 and see Jen and Tyler’s visions come to life. Their wedding, held at The Henderson Convention Center was transformed into the perfect night for our sweet couple. Emily at MLE Photographs did a great job capturing all of the big day and all of the little details.
Jen’s bridal bouquet was her first glance into what to expect during the rest of the day. We did a fun mix of floral and greens to match her Mustard, Plum and Slate color scheme perfectly. For a fun twist we accented the bouquet if purplish gray succulents and yellow bead globes to add another texture to the design.

Since the venue had such a large stage to get married on we knew we needed to really work hard on bringing guests eyes to the center. We brought in the talents of the team at ReLovin’ It to create a collection of paper flowers, kites and pin wheels to cover an arch. Perfection!

One of the special touches we did for Jen was the key on her bouquet to match the heart of Tyler’s bout.

The centerpieces were composed of groupings of different vases filled with blooms in yellows and purples. Each and every table was different so guests could enjoy looking at all of the different collections around. 

I adore this cake by Las Vegas Custom Cakes and the cake topper by ReLovin It.

It was such a beautiful day. Jen and Tyler congratulations on a beautiful wedding and what I’m sure will be a beautiful life.
