Many of us talk to ourselves on a daily basis; we may ask ourselves out loud if we’ve remembered to switch off the heating before we leave the house or utter a verbal list of things we need to do that day. Ask around, you’ll be surprised how many people that do this.

But some people don’t like to admit that they talk out loud; they’re embarrassed as it is often perceived as strange or abnormal…but is it?

Inner dialogue

We all have inner dialogue with ourselves. When we try on a new outfit in a clothes shop, we might ask ourselves if it looks good or if we’re about to do something stressful, we often try to calm ourselves down by saying that everything will be ok. This is normal and healthy. Without this we wouldn’t have any thoughts and where would we be without those?

Self-talk

Athletes have been practising positive self-talk for years – it helps them psyche themselves up for winning a race and performing with confidence. Positive affirmations in the form of self-talk (spoken out loud) provide a healthy way to reconnect with ourselves and tell ourselves positive statements that our brains will then start to believe. The next time you prepare for a run, look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are strong and fit, speak out loud with conviction and you may just be surprised with how well you run that day. PMA – positive mental attitude isn’t just a myth; positive affirmations are a proven way of maintaining a healthy outlook on your life with outstanding results if practiced regularly.

When it becomes a problem…

The definition of ‘normal’ and ‘abnormal’ isn’t black and white – there are no rules and right answers as the question ‘what is normal?’ is subjective. If it feels ok to chat out loud in the privacy of your own home and you’re not telling yourself negative things then carry on as you are! However if you find yourself saying ‘I am stupid’ or ‘I am worthless’ or unhelpful statements along those lines then you need to speak to a counsellor and get to the bottom of your problems. Reinforcing negative thoughts by verbalising them is detrimental to your mental health and requires outside help. Also when you’re talking out loud are you responding to your own inner thoughts or someone else’s? If you’re hearing a different and perhaps unfamiliar voice then again, you need to chat to you GP or counsellor.

I may have had an insight into my own “persistent episodic visual amnesia” (PEVA). This is what I call the problem talked about in the Visualisation FAQs page. “PEVA” is my own name for the problem, which others have shared here too. None of us have found any facts about a known medical condition.

One of the things that I notice is that I have vivid, full-colour dreams. But these dreams are almost always set in the distant past. They almost never take place in the period after my early twenties when PEVA first started. But in the early hours I awoke with a migraine. The dreams I had after I fell asleep were in the present. The setting was not the usual stereotype of a past family home. The characters in my dream were my current partner and one of her boys.

I am diagnosed with persistent migraine aura, and frequent and severe migraine. About half those who have commented on this site have a migraine diagnosis. This is a high number, but it is a statistically small sample. One of the ideas my family doctor has is that PEVA is due to my persistent aura. This is a constant electrical disturbance in the brain. So, it is interesting that I should have rare dreams of the present during a migraine. The attack was still there when I awoke after the dreams. I don’t know how that may work, as the theory is it is permanent aura that disrupt my memory. Also, it is not scientific. One example is not statistically significant. And one person’s anecdotal report is also suspect. But without facts we can find, it could be a start.

• If you have been diagnosed with migraine or not,
• If you have persistent aura such as visual snow or not,
• If you have vivid, full-colour dreams or not, and
• If your dreams are usually set in the past?

New data from National University illuminate research in headache and migraine. www.newsrx.com November 23rd, 2009. “To delineate if the change in cortical excitability persists across migraine attacks, visual evoked magnetic fields (VEF) were measured in patients with migraine without aura during the interictal (n = 26) or peri-ictal (n = 21) periods, and were compared with 30 healthy controls. Yesterday (November 19), Both CFM and Chromalloy released statements concerning the June 30, 2009 in-flight failure of a CFM56-5A engine.  We found the CFM statement particularly disturbing, as it appeared to be using this event as a marketing opportunity, when the companies really should remain focused on finding the root cause of the accident.  The Chromalloy statement-in-response explained that “Chromalloy will continue to work with EASA, the FAA and other interested parties to
determine the root cause of failure with the engine.”

The incident was described in an EASA press release, and can be summarized as follows:

On 30 June 2009, a CFM56-5A engine experienced a stall during take-off.  Turn back was completed without further incident.  Borescope inspection revealed Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) damage, with several blades broken off.  The engine was fairly recently out of a shop visit with only 21 hours and 15 cycles since release from that shop visit. Disassembly revealed the LPT stage 1 disk had fractured.  The disk remained in one piece.  The disk displayed evidence that it had been subject to unusually high temperatures (over-heat condition), but the cause could not be identified by the preliminary examination.

The investigation of this engine failure is ongoing within both the EASA and FAA.

The engine was manufactured by CFM and repaired by Chromalloy.  So what is interesting about the Chromalloy and CFM releases?  Both of them have performed their own investigations of the parts in the engine, and found no anomolies in their own parts/services that could have caused the accident.  CFM vouches for its own parts but concludes that they cannot define the impact of the Chromalloy repairs and parts.  Chromalloy responds, explaining that they have verified the integrity of their own parts and repairs (including a review of air flow inspection records).  Chromalloy points out that some of the CFM statements seem counter-intuitive and recommends waiting for the investigation to be complete before starting to point fingers.

CFM makes reference to the “continued risk” associated with using non-CFM parts, without providing any data to show that there is such a risk (in fact they explicitly state that they have cannot define the impact of non-CFM components and repairs).  They suggest that operators re-evaluate the continued use of non-CFM parts; but it seems premature to start pointing fingers at Chromalloy, given these facts:

• CFM has not come up with a cause of the failure;
• Chromalloy has re-evaluated their parts and found no problems;
• the Chromalloy data was FAA-approved to the same regulatory standards as the CFM’s data); and
• the results of the government investigation are still not yet available.

Chromalloy notes in their statement that they have not been permitted an opportunity to review any data relating to the disk failure analysis nor the manufacturing history of the disk.   Chromalloy also notes that the Stage 1 LPT disk from the incident engine does have some significant history.  Based on this history, CFM’s call, for operators to independently reassure continuous airworthiness before the (independent) government analysis has been completed, seems incongruous.

Je n’arrive encore pas bien à croire ce que je viens d’entendre. Je commençais à me résigner, à accepter tout doucement ma stérilité, alors que l’espoir est encore de mise, alors qu’il reste des pistes à explorer… Quelle nouvelle !

Nous avons laissé passer quelques semaines pour reprendre des forces après l’échec retentissant de notre première tentative de FIV. Mais l’idée de solliciter un deuxième avis me trottait dans la tête depuis le jour où Grand ponte nous avait annoncé l’arrêt de tout traitement médical. Trop dur à encaisser, trop brutal quelques semaines seulement après être rentrés dans le protocole de PMA (Procréation médical assistée).

Pour ce deuxième avis, nous ne sommes pas allés bien loin, enfin quand même à l’autre bout de la France. Nous avons frappé à la porte d’un cousin de mon homme. Gynéco de profession (c’est mieux pour rendre un avis médical ! ). Vous savez le genre de cousin très sympa mais qu’on ne voit jamais parce qu’il habite à 1 000 kms de chez vous. Il nous avait déjà fait passer le message qu’il était à notre disposition si besoin.  Le besoin s’est fait sentir. Alors, il y a quinze jours, quelques peu requinqués, nous avons pris notre courage à deux mains et nous lui avons fait parvenir tout notre dossier médical. Depuis, silence radio. Il a pris son temps, a demandé l’avis d’une consoeur pour être sûr de ce qu’il avançait. Et ce soir, il nous a rappelés.

Je m’attendais à entendre le même discours que celui de Grand Ponte. Je n’avais pas misé un kopek sur un avis divergent. J’avais juste besoin d’entendre les choses une deuxième fois d’un deuxième médecin pour tourner la page. Et là, surprise… Grand ponte en a pris pour son grade. Le Cousin ne nous a pas caché la réalité: mon cas est compliqué, je cumule les problèmes et, quoi qu’il arrive, ce sera difficile. Mais, il y a un MAIS. IL EST TROP TOT POUR BAISSER LES BRAS (je l’écris en majuscule pour bien en prendre conscience !). Le Cousin ne comprend pas que Grand ponte ait arrêté la première tentative “si vite” et surtout, surtout, il ne comprend pas qu’il tire des conclusions au bout d’une seule tentative, d’un seul protocole. Il faut essayer autre chose, d’autres médocs, une autre méthode. Après si ça ne marche toujours pas, on pourra tirer des conséquences. Mais pas tout de suite. Ouahou… Il m’aurait annoncé que j’étais enceinte, je n’aurais pas été plus heureuse. Je sais bien que rien n’est gagné, je ne vais pas sabrer le champagne. Mais on m’a déjà annoncé le pire, alors je n’ai plus rien à perdre. Je ne pourrais pas être plus déçue, plus au fond du gouffre, qu’il y a quelques semaines.

Voilà. Pourquoi Grand Ponte n’a pas voulu aller plus loin reste un mystère. Pour ne pas faire chuter ses statistiques de réussite ? Pour ne pas s’acharner ? Parce qu’il s’est trompé ? Je ne sais pas et je n’ai guère envie d’aller lui demander. Il s’est cassé la figure de son piédestal en quelques minutes. Le Cousin va essayer de nous trouver un nouveau gynéco à Paris, un médecin des cas désespérés, un acharné de l’ovaire qui voudra bien nous proposer un nouveau protocole. Mais l’espoir renaît et, plus que jamais, l’espoir fait VIVRE.

My vision of my wedding look consisted several hairstyles, so it was in my best interest to keep it long.

My “going out hair” usually tacks on an additional 20 minutes to my “getting ready” routine due to my slavery to my curling iron. With multiple, failed attempts, the end look NEVER measured up to my vision and curls would never stay. With the digital perm, I now have beachy waves and I don’t have to do much! Now, I just use the additional 20 minutes for my hair towards my makeup! Oh what a patient husband I have

Pengertian

Surat Izin Usaha Perdagangan (SIUP) adalah surat izin untuk dapat melaksanakan kegiatan usaha perdagangan. Setiap perusahaan, koperasi, persekutuan maupun perusahaan perseorangan, yang melakukan kegiatan usaha perdagangan wajib memperoleh SIUP yang diterbitkan berdasarkan domisili perusahaan dan berlaku di seluruh wilayah Republik Indonesia.

SIUP terdiri atas kategori sebagai berikut :

• SIUP Kecil yang diterbitkan untuk perusahaan dengan modal disetor dan kekayaan bersih Rp. 200 juta di luar tanah dan bangunan.

CV atau Comanditaire Venootschap adalah bentuk usaha yang merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat dipilih oleh para pengusaha yang ingin melakukan kegiatan usaha dengan modal yang terbatas. Karena, berbeda dengan PT yang mensyaratkan minimal modal dasar sebesar Rp. 50jt dan harus di setor ke kas Perseroan minimal 25%nya, untuk CV tidak ditentukan jumlah modal minimal. Jadi, misalnya seorang pengusaha ingin berusaha di industri rumah tangga, percetakan, biro jasa, perdagangan, catering, dll dengan modal awal yang tidak terlalu besar, dapat memilih CV sebagai alternatif Badan Usaha yang memadai.Apakah bedanya CV dengan PT?
Perbedaan yang mendasar antara PT dan CV adalah, PT merupakan Badan Hukum, yang dipersamakan kedudukannya dengan orang dan mempunyai kekayaan yang terpisah dengan kekayaan para pendirinya. Jadi, PT dapat bertindak keluar baik di dalam maupun di muka pengadilan sebagaimana halnya dengan orang, serta dapat memiliki harta kekayaan sendiri. Sedangkan CV, dia merupakan Badan Usaha yang tidak berbadan hukum, dan kekayaan para pendirinya tidak terpisahkan dari kekayaan CV.
Karakteristik CV yang tidak dimiliki Badan Usaha lainnya adalah: CV didirikan minimal oleh dua orang, dimana salah satunya akan bertindak selaku Persero Aktif (persero pengurus) yang nantinya akan bergelar Direktur, sedangkan yang lain akan bertindak selaku Persero Komanditer (Persero diam). Seorang persero aktif akan bertindak melakukan segala tindakan pengurusan atas Perseroan; dengan demikian, dalam hal terjadi kerugian maka Persero Aktif akan bertanggung jawab secara penuh dengan seluruh harta pribadinya untuk mengganti kerugian yang dituntut oleh pihak ketiga. Sedangkan untuk Persero Komanditer, karena dia hanya bertindak selaku sleeping partner, maka dia hanya bertanggung jawab sebesar modal yang disetorkannya ke dalam perseroan.
Perbedaan lain yang cukup penting antara PT dengan CV adalah, dalam melakukan penyetoran modal pendirian CV, di dalam anggaran dasar tidak disebutkan pembagiannya seperti halnya PT. Jadi, para persero harus membuat kesepakatan tersendiri mengenai hal tersebut, atau membuat catatan yang terpisah. Semua itu karena memang tidak ada pemisahan kekayaan antara CV dengan kekayaan para perseronya.

Doug Richards talks about business both of common sense and about stuff that is intuitive and counter intuitive. He really knows how to seek those hidden assetts and opportunies in a business and then help you to realise them. He demonstrated that money is not the only asset, but a creative mind and some balls are equally as powerful. Doug is really amazing and if I could get him to be a partner or a mentor I would pay the price. He would certainly shake my little world up!

I decided to go into properties. so I learnt about properties by reading and attending courses. now I have 11.

I find daydreaming helps and I write them down. everything from my relationships to the house and toys I want as well as what I want my business to be like. and in detail I add dates or length of time it will take then I fold up the piece of paper and put in my wallet. One guy calls this process a Pocket PromiseAnyway for now I hope this has been useful

Well the answer to this question is,

Yes! it’s that simple, really. tell enough people about your product in a particular way and you’ll get a new customer.
