Humanity at the Finish Line

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Shawnee on Delaware PA hosted the Poconos’ Revolution3 Triathlon Series event today. Swimmers started the morning at 7 am in a frigid lake in two categories: Olympic length and half Triathlon (which is half the length of an “Ironman” triathlon, and almost twice as long as the Olympic distance.) The last finisher of the day, a 53 year old woman who was in the ‘half’ category, finished about 10 1/2 hours later. 87 more words
