Em edições anteriores não era possível comprar Berries, mas você pode comprá-las na Loja de Departamentos de Veilstone.

Você também encontrará uma variedade de Poffins disponíveis para venda. Dê os Poffins para seus pokémon para melhorar sua condição e aumentar suas chances de vencer concursos.

Você ganhará sua quarta Insignia Pokémon na Cidade de Veilstone. Empurre os sacos de areia para derrubar os pneus e abrir caminho dentro do Ginásio para enfrentar Maylena.

O leder do Ginásio, Maylene, usa predominantemente pokémon tipo lutador.

Como você vai batalhar contra muitos pokémon tipo lutador, leve pokémon tipo voador e psiquico no seu time.

Depois da batalha no Ginásio, você descobrirá que o Team Galactic (Time Galático) roubou a pokédex do seu amigo. Sua única opção é batalhar em dupla.

Em qualquer lugar que você encontar o Time Galático, Looker estará por perto.

Depois de lutar contra o Time Galático, você encontrará o HM Fly no Galactic  Warehouse. Se o seu pokémon usar o HM Fly você poderá voar instantaneamente para qualquer cidade que você já tenha visitado anteriormente.

Seria Dragon Quest jest serią… nierówną. I to bardzo. O ile w Japonii jest kochana od zawsze i zapewne zawsze kochana tam będzie, tak u nas – a landach białych – bum na nią zaczął się dopiero od ósmej części. Znaczy się bum z prawdziwego znaczenia. Niestety problem jest taki, że zagrać w parę Dragon Quest to jak zagrać w każdego, ale jeśli warto zagrać w jakieś – to powinny to być część III i VI. Niezwykłe, zbalansowane, rozrywkowe i wciągające – stanowią świetne podsumowanie dorobku serii i po prostu nie dają się specjalnie nadgryźć zębowi czasu. Dragon Quest III w wersji na Gameboya Colora to najlepsza, dostępna po angielsku wersja trójki – wzbogacona o nowe zadania, zbieranie medalionów, podkręcona graficznie w stosunku do oryginały i oldscholowa w dobrym tego słowa znaczeniu. Gra się w nią znacznie lepiej niż w remaki na DSa i dodatkowo przez obniżenie sztucznie zawyżanego poziomu trudności z jakiego słynie seria – jest tytułem wybitnie rozrywkowym i dobrym jako “lekki” jRPG po jakiś poważniejszych bądź/i bardziej męczących grach.

Sam tak naprawdę preferuję spin-offy tej serii – z Monstersami z GBC i Mysterious Dungeonami na czele, ale naprawdę cieszę się, że nawet wśród wielkich marek można jeszcze znaleźć ukryte perełki. Dragon Quest III GBC to gra, której naprawdę warto dać szansę.

Bat-Mite

I had happily managed to repress this awful childhood memory for a few decades, until I recently flipped channels and re-discovered “The New Adventures of BatMan” on the Cartoon Network.

I never had a problem with Batman or Robin, despite their questionable man/boy relationship. (Which, even my Mom had pointed out was a little fishy…)

But I have NO idea WTF Bat-Mite is.

All I know is I wish it would must DIE! DIE! DIE!

Partidge Family 2200 AD

Hah hah!  Bet you forgot about this one, didn’t you?

Again, another gem from the 1970’s, that Golden Era of creating Saturday Morning Cartoons from past-their-prime TV shows.

I never got into the regular Partridge Family that much in the first place. (I always considered them the B-Team, compared to the Brady Bunch.)

But to make a cartoon version, and to turn it into a rip-off of the JETSONS?

Strike one.  Strike two.  Strike three.  Yerrrr OUT.

Newton the Centaur

If you were a Canadian born between 1964 and 1975, chances are you know you all about Newton and The Mighty Hercules

For those who aren’t, just imagine an androgynous (possibly gay) centaur, who repeats everything twice, in an annoying  high-pitched, whinnying voice.

I watched Hercules for the first time when I was five, and even at that age, I could already recognize the extreme ass-hatted-ness of Newton.

But hey, at least he could SPEAK.

…unlike his autistic buddy, Toot, who could only communicate via flute-music.

Unless you’re a little boy, between ages 6-10, there is absolutely NOTHING of any redeemable quality, here.

Seems things started to go to Hell in a hand basket,  just at the precise moment when they brought out this cartoon.

I blame Pokémon for bringing the onset the decline of our civilization,  as we know it.

Passe-Partout (Honorable Mention)

Okay, you had to grow up in Quebec to have seen this one.  This gets an honorable mention, because they aren’t really cartoons, they’re puppets.

But puppets 100 times more obnoxious than Elmo.

Words fail to describe how ass-hat this is.  It’s best to see it yourself.

A partir da próxima segunda, dia 30 de novembro, o bloco infantil da RedeTV! passará por alguns ajustes, com o objetivo de diminuir a exposição de Pokémon e já ir preparando o terreno para as novidades de 2010. Desde a última semana o Tv Kids passou a exibir novamente a primeira temporada do anime estrelado por Pikachu, em uma overdose de 4 episódios seguidos.

Como a audiência não aprovou a mudança, o canal decidiu adiantar algumas novidades anteriormente previstas para o ano que vem, e já na próxima segunda começa a veicular a 2ª temporada de Chaotic, com dois episódios ao dia. O segundo ano de Dinossauro Rei poderá estrear ainda em dezembro, mas não tivemos confirmação por parte da emissora. E conforme o JBox adiantou , Digimon Frontier continua previsto para ir ao ar a partir de janeiro.

Para finalizar, Ryukendo regressará à faixa noturna do Tv Kids, voltando ao horário onde começou a ser exibido, desta vez sem nenhum corte, para a alegria dos fãs do gênero. Confiram abaixo como fica a programação do bloco a partir da próxima semana.

Growing up, cartoons were a big part of my life, be it transformers, G I Joe, Centurian and even Pokemon and Digimon(who could forget them)

Other then exposing me to tremendous amounts of violence as a young boy, it did do me at least one good. Acceptance of Augmented reality. Why you might ask? Simple these shows, although some in the late 80s were way ahead of there time. Transformers had robots even before the microsoft office( reminder for those who bought in school go go collect it), Centurian show that people could sync up with computers before the first mobile computer was build and pokemon and digimon brought it to a whole new level. Augmented reality

Remember the good o’ Pokedex,

Now this is where augmented reailty is headed. Point and the person with a device and TADA! All you need to know about the person is there. This will be a great addition in times like this where security its priority, all the cops or guards have to do is point the device at you and he will know all your legal records. Seems a fit far fetched? Not true! All they need is a device that works like the microchip planted in pets to be either in humans or simply placed in a card form like the IC. This also allows picture identification of criminals on the lose. Highly possible! It will be like crime watch on the go. And with face detection currently available in all new mac books world wide (get one at your nearest local dealer now) it will make it even easier to spot the person.

LCD TV market is getting huge now due to prices always dropping. This has allowed various technologies to be worked with such as virtual mirrors. These tend to be mirrors that hang on your wall, and also have a screen built in. When the screen it switched on the surface is no longer reflecting an image of you, but is showing a video.

Using this idea, a store in New York decided that clothes can be tried on by facing a mirror and displaying the clothes on screen. Where the clothes are not, you can see your reflection as though you are wearing the clothes. To add to this, a picture is then taken, emailed to friends and family and an opinion can be gained as to weather you buy the item of clothing or not.

Seems like an interesting idea and might help speed up things for those who get bored waiting for their wives to try on everything in a store.
