I hope the answer to that is yes, but that’s for you out there to decide. So, to help you with that decision, i’m gonna give you a short “story of my life” and an outlook on what you can expect from my blog.

I grew up and studied in Germany. My childhood was a good one I guess: child of loving upper-middleclass parents, a smart and beautiful sister and I can’t remember that we ever missed anything. I had a pretty decent talent for football, even playing for Bayern Munich’s youngsters at the age of 12 – but that sort of changed rapidly when puberty kicked in… Well, not the talent, but the discipline. I – and I sure am sorry for that today – chose the dark side, namely girls, drugs and rock’n roll But it all didn’t turn out too bad. I finished my A-level, started Law studies and besides worked as  a Multimedia Designer. I was into computers since I got my first C64 and during that first Internet boom I found out that I could suddenly earn 5-digit numbers monthly! Didn’t take long to forget about university and literally work my ass off. The result was a stuffed bank account and a completely burned-out me. I had depressions (No, money may help, but it doesn’t guarantee happiness!) and didn’t think I’d be able to work in that area ever again.

After about a year (i call it the “black year” now) one of my best friends convinced me to at least pick up University again, instead of sitting at home doing nothing. He was right! I enjoyed that time sooo much, because I got the chance to re-live those days on the campus I had missed because of my job. And I started playing poker… First it was just for fun, but soon I realized one could easily make a living out of it. Well, and here we are now in the year 2011. I meanwhile moved to the Netherlands to live with my beautiful fiance, I still poker  (though i wouldn’t consider myself a pokerpro – semi-pro at best) and I started designing again. It seemed the best way for me to combine my abilities with my passion. And to be honest, my fiance would love to see the designing part of my life to further improve. Somehow women don’t seem to look at that “gamble-for-a-living” thing as warm as degenerate gambling men do

So, this January I started to make my own, mostly Poker-related designs and set up my first store on zazzle.com. You can find any customizable merchandise you can think of there. Ipad and Iphone cases, Mousepads, T-Shirts and much more. I also setup a Facebook page (you’d really help “liking” me there) and opened a Twitter Feed.

In this blog I wanna keep you up-2-date with my progress in starting up my little online-business as well as give stories from my life as a pokerplayer. For example I will soon blog about how I became a true (IQ) facist just playing poker. And I will provide a mathematically proven ranking of the best and worst poker nations… So, be sure to check back here!
