Yo,

I am playing now in the second season in the eSport Liga, our Team (poker-wolfs) managed to get up in the 1. Liga, but now we suck. Not only the Team, I suck. I dont know if it is the higher Level in the 1st Liga or just my incompetence. Yesterday I played very patiently was waiting for the right Hands and made some Chips in the beginning. Then I got 3-3 in my hand. Ok in early Position a fold, but the blind have still been low and I was UTG, so I made small raise. SB Folds and BB calls. Flop A-J-3 Bingo. I raise, BB Calls. next 7, I raise, BB calls. I put the guy on A-K or A-J. Anyway I have him covered. The River is a 10. Now the board is A-J-3-7-10 rainbow. I have the nuts !!! All in BB calls imediatly and shows me A-A. What the Fuck…….Luckily the guy was low stack and I had still 800 chips left.

So went to play tighter. 10 Minutes later I get A-10s and I am SB. ok so 200 Raise. BB Calls. Flop A-7-9. nice Flop for me…. 200 Raise BB Calls next is A. so I go All in he calls and shows me A-K.

So I am out in 17th position and Feel like a total Fish. Hopefully on Sunday I will play better Poker.

I’ve been playing poker for a few years now. I learned how to play at a home game and fell in

I’ve been playing poker for a few years now. I learned how to play at a home game and fell in love with the game. I started playing online on pokerroom.com with play money. I chose pokerroom because that was the only site with a mac interface. i found myself starting with $1000 in play money and the winning enough to reach $350,000 in a few month. i did this for about a year or so and when i got bored of play money. i decided to finally start playing with real money. I made my first deposit using my credit card thru click2pay. I deposited $200. I figured that i am willing to lose that much to play online poker.

My deposit went thru and i started my online poker career. My first game was in the $5 SNG’s with 10 players. I was so nervous and excited on my first game. But from what i recall, i think i lost…. but what a rush it was. From that first game, my online poker career was born!!!!

My user name on pokerroom is idealmind. After about 6 to 8 months on pokerroom, i started having alot of problems with my connection to their site. I kept getting disconnected in the middle of a game and thus i would lose. It was very frustrating. I emailed customer support several times and i only got an apology at best. When your losing money because of problems with the site, it gets very frustrating. And for the people that are thinking that it was my internet connection, i assure you that it was working fine. Since i could download stuff and even chat online while playing poker.

My poker career on pokerroom was flourishing. i had was winning more than i was losing. my first 100 games set me back about $120. But by the next 100 games, i was in the black by $400. I kept playing and i eventually hit $800. Not bad!!!!

due to my connection problems on pokerroom. i decided to try out fulltiltpoker.com. I downloaded their software and transferred$200 from pokerroom.com to fulltiltpoker.com. I was playing on two sites simultaneously. I started winning on full tilt and was really happy. The colorful site and the funky avatars took some getting used to. I started on the $10 SNG’s immediately. My user id is idealminds.

After a few months playing on both sites, i still kept getting disconnected on pokerroom. i tried complaining to pokerroom one more time, and again, i get an apology. So, i decided to pullout the remaining $460 out of the site, and started playing exclusively on FULL TILT POKER. Its been over 6 months and i have been happy with full tilt so far. My initial $200 is hovering around $1200. Not bad.

I staked two of my poker buddies to go on Full Tilt. Ton Gatmaitan and Genghis Khan. I tranferred $100 each. and our deal is that whatever they win, we split 50/50. I think Genghis has lost all my money. But Ton is still up. nothing substantial, but as long as he is up, i am happy.

About a month ago, i went on this awful downward spiral of bad beat after bad beat, and my $1300 went down to $900. it was frustrating. I started to question my skills. I started to doubt myself. I couldn’t do anything right. But i kept at it and persevered. I played a consistent game based on the fundamentals, and i soon found myself back on the winning path. I am now back up to $1200. but it has been and up and down trend. I yet have to break the $1400 barrier to go to the next level.

I am starting this blog to document my poker stories, bad beats, streaks, tilts, and all other stuff. So, i hope all of you enjoy and learn from my experience on line.

SEE YOU AT THE TABLES!!!!

There is one thing that is certain in this crazy world of Online Poker The sharks are always going to win the battle against the fish in the long run. Typically I don’t share my online poker theories and secrets in my articles, but what the heck its been a great couple of months. People often ask me how I can consistently do so well in the $10 -$20 games online. Well it’s actually quite simple. Like anyone else I have my swings, but at the end of the month when I am looking at my scorecard I am never down.In the beginning I was forced to learn the hard way about money management. I would come home after a night out with the guys, log onto PartyPoker (always PartyPoker) and decide I was the best damn player in the world. I would take my last $300 in the account and hit the $10 – $20 game with vengeance. Well that seldom panned out, typically I would go broke. Sure I had my swings where I could turn that $300 into $1500 but usually it was just out the window.

That is what is considered playing recklessly! If you can spot reckless players like I was, it is easy to take all their money, in other words Eat the Guppies!! Almost all of the success I have had in the last year playing online has come from using this method and theory.

Here’s how it works. And just because I play 10 – 20 doesn’t mean you can’t apply this principal to the lower limits. My available bankroll is ALWAYS over $10K when I play at these limits. First thing is that you need to have accounts at more than just one poker room. If not your really limiting yourself to finding the weakest players at any given time. I look for 5 handed 10 20 tables that are full and everyone at the table has less than $300. Of course you have to look around but they are there every night somewhere. These players are sitting there just hoping to get lucky. Obviously they are not pro’s unless they wouldn’t be in a 10 -20 with $300.

Having 100 times more bankroll at my disposal, it is almost certain that if I play solid I am going to be able to crack at least half the players at the table. These players are a goldmine. You can get away with check-raises, slow plays, calling to the river, and all kinds of things that won’t fly in a game with big bankrolls. Why in the world would you want to sit in a cash game and have a bankroll 100 times less than your opponent?

Likewise as a professional with my livelihood depending on my cash-outs every night, why would I want to sit at a 10 20 with a bunch of players who all have $3K+ in front of them. Right there tells me that most of them are obviously somewhat experienced to be sitting with that kind of bankroll.

Like I said before, you can apply this principal even in the micro-limits. Too many people just sit down at the first available table to open up. The best time to find the guppies is between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 3:00 A.M because you often will stumble upon the drunks who have no regard for their game and are looking for that quick rush.

The other thing that made a noticeable difference in my online profits was when I began playing at 4 -5 different sites. This way you can be selective and wait for the right table to open up. This is just me but I have found that PokerStars WILL force you to play you’re A game and make you a better player, but if you’re looking to go fishing the best sites are PartyPoker and Pokerroom.

Hopefully this can help some of you young aspiring online players to increase your profits at the tables and give you a new strategy to work with. I always look forward to your comments or questions about my articles.

So,

Naja, was solls, mal abwarten.
