So i have heard about this thing some people call yarn storming,or yarn graffiti, and i am officially joining the club.

I live in a small neighborhood somewhere outside Renton, washington and i am going to “yarn storm”

so for people who don’t know what yarn graffiti is, it’s where you knit things out of yarn scraps and such, then wrap it around poles, on trees, benches, basically anything that can be wrapped, covered or knitted upon.

I was looking at this group called Knit The City.

Personally, i think they’re amazing.

So i am planning on doing my first knitting run tomorrow. Yes, Christmas Day!

I was thinking Christmas themed paraphernalia.Any ideas? Comment

I was planning a miniature snowman brigade?

good?

I think so. So, I shall post pictures for all of my knitting enthusiast friends.

Although, after this post i am quite unsure of how many people are viewing this. I feel like I am typing away to no one.

OoO I definitely found a picture for all you visual-knitter-people!

Snowmen bowling, but i like this as my brigade

Should i add carrot noses?

Or small sweaters?

I am not entirely sure, so give me some feed back you avid knitters!

Oh, they’re just so cute, and small, i love small things! I recently discovered a website (click website)

They have a bunch of small things and patterns on there, not going to lie, they’re quite addictive!

Hmm, i am pretty much thinking i should start knitting now, ever think you’re a cat lady? Even when you don’t have cats? I do. I am feeling it particularly today, especially when i talked to my pug and fitted him for a sweater. Oh my,

Knit on lovelies!

“Nine, are you a good kisser?”

It was about a month since I’d split up with #182. #184 and I were at QueerMutiny, drinking at a table near the dancefloor.

“I don’t know. I mean, people have said so before, but I’ve just been kissing the same person for two years, so I don’t know if that’s affected my technique.” #184 lunged forward and kissed me before I knew what was happening.

“You’re all right,” he concluded.

#184 was my partner in crime. He volunteered at my workplace and we wound up hanging out all the time. We got drunk together a lot and he’d make pronouncements about how we had THIS CONNECTION and we REALLY UNDERSTOOD EACH OTHER. After that night, he’d lunge at me and make out with me on numerous occasions. Our song was Pass This On by The Knife. We’d get drunk and dance to it and he’d inevitably pause and demand, “Nine, who is leading?” I guess it was me.

It is good to cultivate friendships with people who are bigger train wrecks than you are. You can then trick everybody into believing that you are the responsible one.

#184 helped me with my Polish; he gave me a list of useful phrases.

On(a) jest gorący/gorąca
He/she is hot

Zpałam z nim/nią
I slept with him/her

Nie mów o tym teraz
Don’t talk about this right now

His stories went like this: “And then: blackout. And then: it was 6am and I was in a youth hostel. I don’t know how I got there.” The pair of us regularly navigated our way through Edinburgh in a drunken haze, making friends with everybody, forgetting what happened two minutes ago, and seeking people to get off with. The difference between us was that I had some kind of homing mechanism whereby I always seemed to make it back to my flat unscathed, even if I didn’t know how (one time, he apparently put me in a rickshaw). #184, on the other hand, would suddenly find himself stumbling around a housing estate far from the city centre, 2pm, still drunk, and without his jacket or wallet. Every time we went out somewhere, one of us would text the other the following day: “What happened?” Together, we were an advertisement for the perils of alcohol. “I’ve got almost everything,” he crowed one morning after, as if this was an achievement, “except my bandana and my hat.” If I expressed an inclination to go home before the very end of the party, he’d look at me like I’d just shot his dog.

Here’s another thing about #184: his attention span.

- Nine, how are you?
- I’m ill.
- What are you doing tonight?
- I’m staying in because I’m ill.
- Oh, well there is a party on Niddrie Street, do you want to come?
- Thanks, but no. I’m ill.
- Oh, you’re ILL?!

After all the late nights and lunacy, something happened. #184 fell in love. He moved down to England in July to live with his boyfriend.

This is the problem with Edinburgh: people come and go. I get used to it.

Still, they’re not a million miles away. They’ve welcomed me into their home. If even one of us could get a proper income, we’d see more of each other. I don’t think our chapter’s closed, it’s just on hold for the time being.

In a London workplace (not here, somewhere far more in Vogue), there is a thief working its way around the desks.

He or she moves through darkness, dodging delectable heels and moving through shawls of satin, avoiding the made-up stares of vacancy.

It is a trend, a theme that has emerged and one that this merry bunch are charting. They spotted it. And it has legitamised their suspicions. A thief is here. We told you it would be. The thief, it already existed, but, you know, we made it happen.

And the identity of the thief is the subject of much debate. Behind the gloss and the framed pictures of wafer-thin delusion there is, though, the truth. They all look to the cleaners.

Why it would be the cleaners, with their broken English and their poverty, who would risk their jobs for the sake of a hastily bought Christmas present, they do not discuss. Why, with the CCTV cameras they dust and the security systems they are most restricted by, the cleaners would endanger a job that keeps them with money, small though it may be, by stealing items from desks that will be missed and to do so at the most vulnerable time - the empty office time where the CCTV can see you nakedly – they don’t discuss either.

How shocking it would be to them to discover it was one of their own.

It would be easier for them. A busy office, people moving, the CCTV camera impotent in the whirl of activity.

And more likely? A crime of opportunism and stupidity. A room of coke heads and fail-to-keep-up bankruptcy.

I’d say as, or more.

Easier, though, to blame the cleaners. They don’t know enough English to defend themselves. Maybe one will get the sack. Token, like. Take the heat off.

How’s the conscience Christmas morning, guys?

Oh, look at that, your nose is bleeding and you don’t seem to be making a great deal of sense. And this receipt, it’s got someone else’s name on it…

Badec Bros Deco has manufactured a wide range of impressive Cubedec pots over the past 2 years. We recently combined our stylish Cubedec A pots with inspirational laser-cut slogans. These stylish décor pieces act as interesting and encouraging exterior decorations. Also remember that we can laser-cut your very own address, logo or picture onto any of our Cubedec pots.

Our Cubedec A pots are manufactured from 1,6mm mild steel sheets, which we fold and weld. All our pots are manufactured with a round inner steel bar to support plastic planters, which come standard with all our pots, unless otherwise specified. You can choose between three finishes for your Cubedec pot: rusted, mild steel finish, or powder coating in any colour you can dream of. Our powder coating is SABS approved.

How to choose towel stands Towel stands clear up space, since you can toss you towels on the stand r

How to choose towel stands

Towel stands clear up space, since you can toss you towels on the stand rather than in the floor or on a chair. Online you will find a nice selection of stands created by Drop, Onda, Premier, Freestanding, and so on.
lirik lagu gita gutawa
How do I choose stands?
It depends on your style of bath and taste. If you want modern styles check out the line of Drops.

Onda also has a nice collection of contemporary fittings and other bath accessories. If you have a regal taste, you may want to re view the Freestanding Spas, or the line of Premiers. If you want décor yet are on a budget, checkout the line of Freestanding Holders.

Just out of curiosity, I thought I would check out the line of spa stands. The stands are made of chrome and brass, such as Satin brass. In addition, you have a choice of oil rub bronze, brass, chrome, and satin nickel. Preferably, I like the brass in regal, modern, or Victorian environments. On the other hand, the brass will go well in nearly any bathroom. The oil rub is nice if you have a country bathroom or antique atmosphere.

How much do the stands cost?
It depends on your choice. If you choose the spas, you can find the items online in the price range between $67 and $82.

How do I choose modern stands?
Again, I am not into chrome, yet in the instance of Drops products I like the triple stands, which could go well with matching mirrors in the background. Add a little gold trimming to your layered mirrors and you will have a combination of modern and regal patterns. The item looks well with a vanity glass shelf in the background as well. Keep the gold at bay in this instance; rather offset it with minute trims of gold. Of course, your taste is different from mine, so check out the images for your self.

Chrome and Satin Nickel texture is not up my alley, yet Premier has created a nice line of dual spa stands. In a peach, tan, or antique environment I would sit the stands in a corner to offset the atmosphere. Throw a few light color towels on the stand, such as tan and you have a very nice antique pattern. Premier stands are a bit pricey, so if you are on budgeting, check out the line of Freestanding. You have a choice of Satins, Brass, Chrome, and so on.

How do I choose from the line of Onda?
Onda has a nice selection of stands, yet you may want to save a few bucks before considering the items. If you are not worried about price, you may enjoy the chrome triple polished stands, gold/chrome polish, brass and/or chrome polish. The styles go well in white and tan textures.

If you are searching for gorgeous vanity stands, you may consider the rings and stands made by freestanding collections. You have choice of one, two, or three arm stands, or else you can choose the dual ring stands. The oil rub bronze three-arm stand would look great in an antique bath, or a country setting.

On the other hand, the 3-arm Satin Nickel stands would look great in antique environments, or country settings, especially if you sprinkle a few white/yellow flowers at the base. Throw a white towel on and you are set. The stands however, I believe are designed for modern baths or master bathrooms. You may like the ring stands, but keep in mind it will take more effort on your part to place your towel. If you are in a hurry often, go for the arm stands.

I was recently asked to take a photo for my good friends Art In Thesis’s EP cover. With a very vauge subject of telephone poles the ideas to be had were endless. With a failed attempt up north in Clearield/West Haven/West Point/Roy/Clinton/etc. I took it upon myself to travel into the middle of nowhere. The first place that came to mind was Magna, UT. Magna’s claim to fame is the Saltair and the Kennecot Copper Mine. Magna is about 20miles West of Salt Lake City. Well one morning with nothing to do and a due date about 24hrs away I decided to venture out there and see what was there. Well I was brilliant, apparently middle of nowhere= telephone poles heaven. With about a billion options to choose from I stopped about every 5 minutes and scoped the area. Even with about a billion poles there was always a tiny thing wrong, making the photo pretty useless.

With a little bit of luck and lack of direction I found a spot that looked very promising. I got out of my car to a very cold air. And with my luck I forgot to bring any sort of glove or hand warming mechanism. Also my (bad) luck brought traffic for about 15 mintues. I mean this was out in BFE and no cars in sight when I parked off the side of the road on a dirt mound but the second I step out my car 15 tractors decide to come my way. Even with all the struggles of hustlin’ a photo I managed to get a shot I’m pretty pleased with. I’ve included some of my edits of the photo. None of which are the actual cover, which I haven’t even seen but I’m sure looks awesome. I think edited by Mason or Jeff or maybe Skyler but most likely not Jaron or Mike and for good reason. lol

Be sure to check out Art In Thesis on Myspace and Facebook. Most importanly pick up a copy of the CD when it drops, be sure to check them out live too. Their EP release show is December 18th at The Basement in Ogden, UT.

The director of the Cultural Center stressed out the significance of such events aiming at strengthening ties among European countries, through history and culture.
Addressing the event, the Greek Ambassador in Warsaw referred to the contribution of Greek civilisation in the evolution of the European culture. He further suggested that tourism can act as vehicle in cultural exchanges and invited Poles to visit Greece and meet the culture from up close.
The event involved happenings with Greek folklore music and dancing as well as the screening of a documentary film by Wieslaw Dabrowski titled “Hellenic Poles,” about Polish people living in Greece.

Finally managed to get to CVS this morning. Picked up the various supplements I take. At the advice of my doctor a few weeks ago, I stopped taking normal multivitamins, and started taking a more personalized vitamin regimen. It’s working well so far, but sweet baby Vishnu it sure is a lot of pills to take. And now I have more water bottles sitting on my desk than the C.E.O. of Poland Spring (I really am bad when it comes to actually finishing a bottle of water).

My neighborhood is getting all set up for Christmas. Every year, they put up these unsightly green wooden poles that are held up by tension wires. They attach them to buildings, other poles, pretty much whatever they can. I for one fail to see why they don’t secure the base of those poles. Seems to me that if a car ran into one, not only would it come crashing down, but it might very well bring a few other poles with it. I’m not a fan of them.

I’ve been really interested in these new wireless charging pads they came out with. I’d love to make the 15 or 16 charging cords I have for various things disappear. There’s already been talk of more powerful ones that could be built into furniture and whatnot, and would power any items on it without power cords, save the one for the desk or table. Just bam, put a lamp on the table and it’ll work. It’s funny how things you never thought you’d see – or never even imagined – can just happen before your very eyes. Technology is cool.

That’s about it for now. See you later, internet.

Nordic Walking has been proven to help improve aerobic capacity, increase oxygen uptake and maximize calorie burn compared to regular walking. Nordic Walking Poles also help to eliminate many joint pains and they help to improve upper body mobility as well.

Cross country ski racers have been hill bounding and ski walking for decades as a means to get a jump-start on ski season when deprived of snow. Nordic Walking Poles can help you get a jump-start on ski season as well.

Real Nordic Walking Poles are equipped with removable rubber Nordic Walking Tips/Asphalt Paws – ideal for pavement and other hard surfaces. Nordic Walking can be done on any surface – including indoor/outdoor tracks and even in the mall. Remove the rubber tips and the metal tips provide traction on trails, the beach, snow and ice.

The best Nordic Walking Poles are equipped with special Nordic Walking Straps – kind of like a fingerless glove. SWIX and EXEL Nordic Walking Poles utilize comfortable straps patented by the Salomon Ski Company. The best cross country ski racing poles are also equipped with these proven and tested straps patented by the Salomon Ski Company.

The American Nordic Walking System provides three basic levels of exertion – providing at least one comfortable level of intensity and effectiveness for any age and any fitness level.

Level 1 – burns up to 20% more calories than regular walking

Level 2 – burns up to 30% more calories than regular walking

Level 3 – burns up to 40% more calories than regular walking

Go to: The American Nordic Walking System for additional info and instructions

REAL Nordic Walking Poles differ from typical hiking and trekking poles in that they can accommodate the rubber tips/paws. Nordic Walking Poles are typically lighter – especially the one-piece poles that prove to be safer, lighter and much more durable than cheap twist-lock and flip-lock poles that often rattle, vibrate, collapse/fail and or freeze up. One-piece poles that are sized correctly prove to be user-friendly and hassle-free.

The Nordic Track is also a great way to get ready for both downhill and cross country skiing. Downhill skiers will benefit from cross country skiing as a means to get ready to hit the slopes too. Snowshoeing with poles (Nordic Snowshoeing) is also another great way to get ready for ski season. No snow? No problem – try Nordic Walking. No snow, no skis required.

We just received a call from a happy customer ordering her 3rd and 4th pair of one-piece Nordic Walking Poles from us – quality one-piece SWIX and EXEL Nordic Walking Poles. They had two pairs of expensive twist-lock poles from REI and she referred to them as “garbage” due to the noise (rattle) from the twist-locks and the hassle of the poles locking mechanism. We hear this type of feed back every day about 2 and 3 piece telescopic/collapsible poles – twist-lock and flip-lock. Skiers only use one-piece poles and they prove to be ideal for Nordic Walking when sized correctly by a professional.

I just got off the phone with a lady that just returned some expensive poles from Dick’s Sporting Goods because her husband, who has MS, couldn’t get the poles to stop collapsing. She ordered one-piece poles from us costing half the price. Our one-piece poles will prove to be far superior and stronger. Individuals with balance issues should avoid twist-lock and flip-lock poles.

How to operate car insurance in the UK and that the offer will be most appropriate? How to lower the price of insurance and how much the formalities? Anyone who first encountered the insurance scheme in the UK concentrates on these and similar questions. The mere fact that the vehicle may drive only a designated person at first glance it seems to us absurd and incredible. However, living in this country and taking advantage of its many benefits, we must also comply with current rules here. The problem for many Poles, it is primarily the language barrier and lack of a single source of information. As an employee of a broking firm “One Call Insurance” fullness of the role of insurance adviser to the Poles living in Britain. My work is not limited to insurance sales, but also to provide any advice on our range of insurance and the rules funkjonowania within our company, but of course the vast majority of this information will be universal for the whole insurance system in the UK. Types of insurance Usually at the beginning should explain to customers the difference between different types of insurance: – Third Party Only – this is the minimum insurance, the Polish equivalent of OC. – Third Party Fire and Theft – This is intermediate between the Polish insurance OC and AC. It includes in addition to liability and insurance against theft and fire. – Comprehensive – this is the best value for comprehensive insurance, the equivalent of the Polish AC. This includes everything that was included in the other two types of insurance and further damage caused by an accident caused by the fault of the policyholder and the vandalism and damage to windows. Prices Often, I meet a question which has an effect on the price of insurance. Here the most important factor is the age of the driver, his experience and no-claims discount for the ride. Is also influenced by the type of car, its class and value, engine capacity, and where it is stored at night. Who is eligible to drive? At the conclusion of the policy is necessary to designate the persons entitled to drive a car, usually (though not always) preferably will give only the owner of the car. Certainly the addition of a young and inexperienced drivers will increase the cost of insurance. However, if we add the driver in the same age and with the same experience, the price should be at similar levels. Discounts Clients often ask whether the British insurers recognize the discount from Polish. Of course, they, but not all of the company and only if the certificate meets all requirements of the insurer. Among the companies represented by the One Call Insurance are many, that they discount the Polish, but always required is the original document attesting to the no-claims discounts for driving. If it is released in Polish, it is necessary to the translation, which if necessary can also be obtained from us. English is always on the certificates is given in the No Claims Bonus years – expect the same from the local insurance companies, Polish certificates. We must, therefore, bear in mind that only information which is given as a percentage there will be adequate. The most important, however, is that to take advantage of discounts from the Polish, the insurance in Poland must be resolved, and the rest can not be longer than two years. It is a requirement for all insurance companies since, under the rules in force in this country, discounts may be used only for one vehicle. If you have insurance, however, still valid in Poland, and so it is worth drawing up the valuation inform the consultant. The fact that we have for example 8 years No Claims Bonus on another car, can reduce the price of insurance, but in some cases, the insurance company has the right to request a relevant document. Excess Excess is a very important element of policy Third Party Fire and Theft and Comprehensive. There is always this kind of insurance, and therefore particularly worrying to me is that many of my clients – even insured in the UK – do not know what is excess and how they operate. The reason may be that the previous policy of concluding they did not draw attention to it, did not understand the rules of the contract signed by them, or simply the previous company did not give them the necessary information. Excess, in other words, his contribution, it is part of the damage that the policy-holder will have to pay from its own resources. Once again I emphasize that the buying policy of Third Party Fire and Theft or Comprehensive, doczynienia always have a certain excess. There is the possibility that your policy of this kind does not occur, his contribution (excess), in our company can, however, Secure buying tzw.excess Protector service. It is a service on which our company covers the excess on behalf of clients, it can be purchased only within the first seven days of insurance. Own contribution is not only on policies Third Party Only, or OC. Excessu height is calculated individually for each policy, and depends both on the degree of risk (eg age of the driver) as well as the type of injury. For example, for 20-year-old driver excess for damage accident may be up to £ 300, and theft for just £ 150 In the case of experienced drivers may be at £ 100 for all types of damage. But they are only theoretical examples. Let us go back to that, the titles which may occur on the excess policy. In the case of Comprehensive Insurance, we are dealing with all the possible excessu, namely for: – Accident damage (accidental damage), – Damage caused by vandalism (malicious damage), – Fire (fire) – Theft (theft), – Destruction of the glass (windscreen). As for insurance Third Party Fire and Theft, we have to deal only with the excess for fire and theft, because it only covers this type of policy. Own contribution, to which the customer is obliged under the contract is defined as a compulsory excess. There is also a voluntary contribution of their own, or voluntary excess. Drivers sometimes opt for this type of excessu to reduce premiums, but if the price difference is not very large, I do not recommend this solution. Always remember that volunatry excess is an additional contribution, so we must add its value to the mandatory own contribution to give the total excessu. What additional insurance worth buying? As for the additional insurance, especially recommend purchasing insurance from a legal (Legal Cover). It affords us the opportunity to claim compensation for injuries incurred (including passengers) by legal means, without incurring any costs from the person guilty of causing the accident. The second type of insurance is Breakdown Cover, a car breakdown insurance. It has many types, so you should read the detail of the offer and choose the most advantageous for us. Prepare to call in order! By doing this you will save time, because the valuation of the phone – even if you already have all the data – takes several minutes. The basic data that you may need are: – Full address, – No phone – If you have already bought a car, the registration number and make and exact model. – The date of first registration (first registration date). – The date of purchase of the car, – Current meter, or mileage in miles, – Think about it, how many miles you travel per year, – NCD, a no-claims discount for the ride – if you have them, check exactly how many years. If this discount from the Polish, make sure that the certificate was issued in the years or other intervals, such as 60% can be both 10 and 6 years no-claims the license, which has a large impact on the price of insurance, – Date of birth, – The date of issue of driving license, – The date of arrival in the UK – When you need insurance right away, it is a payment card details and in case of permanent transfer of payment (direct debit), we need the sort code and account number (account number). If you have all these data, it certainly skrócisz to a minimum the time spent on the valuation and pricing will be very reliable and certainly will not be any surprises later Frequently asked questions: 1. What is the difference between different types of insurance? Third Party Only – only insurance against civil liability. Third Party Fire and Theft – liability insurance + from fire and theft. Comprehensive – liability insurance + of + fire and theft from the damage caused by an accident caused by negligence. 2. What affects the price of insurance? Car insurance rates are calculated be on the basis of many factors. This is to the best estimate of the degree of risk. The most important factors are: – Age of the driver, – Experience and type of driving license – The precise parameters of the vehicle, – As long as the policy holder is in the UK, – Or add additional drivers, – Are a no-claims discount driving, – Where the car is kept at night – Address, – Whether they were accidents or claims in the past 5 years. 3. Do I need to resolve insurance policy if you sell your car? It depends on whether the driver gets rid of the car for good, if only temporarily, and will want to buy another. In the first case, of course, need to resolve the polis, but the second may be preferable to simply freeze the policy and change into another vehicle. Here, however, one must ask about specific insurance, not all have the feature freeze. Insurance policies in England have a very individual character and is not worth its own decisions based on the tooltips friends. 4. Does the Polish discount will be accepted? Yes, One Call Insurance accepts discount from Polish, but our offer then narrows slightly as not all companies represented by us take into account. We will always be you all available options, and decided by themselves. You have, however, guarantee that no rozmyślimy after week and did not find that but we can not accept your discounts. In addition, all the time negotiating with insurers and certainly more and more companies are cooperating with us will be decided on the acceptance Polish discounts. 5. What is excess? Excess, which own contribution, it is part of the damage covered by the policy holder from its own resources. Excess is always on policies Third Party Fire and Theft and Comprehensive (so if you have or have such a policy and nothing about any excessie you do not know, it means that either did not listen carefully, or simply the consultant did not explain to you all). Excess is not present on policies Third Party Only. 6. How long should I wait for the entry into force of the insurance policy? The One Call Insurance we are able to commence the insurance immediately. If you are in our office, the stock will receive all the documents. By contrast, the telephone conclusion of the policy documentation is mailed. However, you are insured right away, and you can drive a car without fear. 7. Whether the full insurance, Comprehensive, my car will be towed to a garage and a car or get a replacement? Everything is an individual matter and such details should be checked at the conclusion of the policy. However, usually the insurance company offers a Comprehensive vehicle replacement and repair organization (including towing). However, it is only the damage caused by accident, do not crash the car. In the latter case, you would take out additional insurance – Breakdown Cover. 8. Do I have to redeem the extra driving to the Polish insurance? It depends on what type of insurance you have – again, best to ask for such details at the conclusion of the policy. In most cases, full insurance gives you the right to use the car in the European Union for about 90 days. Some of our companies, however, designate restrictions, for example, once you can be outside the UK niedłużej than 28 days. While free European insurance is rather standard with Comprehensive insurance does not mean that you’re certainly not authorized to do so by Insurance Third Party Fire and Theft or Third Party Only. Always check. We must also remember that before you go tell your insurer about the planned date of departure and return.

We have had quite a few requests to provide décor ideas to hide unsightly air conditioning units in gardens. Badec Bros Deco specializes in feature walls, such as gabion feature walls. These designer walls are ideal to hide air conditioning units, unsightly views, or ugly old walls, without having to remove the existing wall.

We manufacture our gabion walls from 30mm x 3mm angle iron, which is welded together to ensure a strong frame. Then we weld strong, steel mesh onto the frame to create the shape of the wall. Once the hollow wall structure has been manufactured, we install it on site and fill it with pebbles, slate stone or chunky quartzite gravel.

Alternatively, we can also construct mild steel feature walls and add intricate detail to the surface of the steel to decorate it. There are three finishes to choose from. We can powder coat the feature wall in any colour imaginable, or we can apply mild steel finish or a rusted finish. Our powder coating is SABS approved.

Badec Bros Deco can also manufacture mild steel screens. These screens can be used to create privacy or to hang Cubedec hanging pots or hanging sculptures onto. We can customize our mild steel screens to any size and shape and with a wide range of finishes, such as powder coating in any colour, mild steel finish or a rust effect or even wooden cladding.

The name antartica was coined to mean “opposite to the Arctic”. Antartica is a high, ice covered landmass. In the Arctic the landmass are grouped around the ice-covered Arctic Ocean. Because of this difference, the climate of the two areas is very different. So the land animals and plants of the two regions are very different. Antartica is the coldest area in the world. A temperature of -127 degrees Fahrenheit was measured in August 1960. It is the world’s record low temperature. Ice is the great feature of Antartica. More than 4.5 million square miles of ice sheet cover the area. And the icecap is very thick, averaging nearly 8,000 feet. If this great volume of ice were to melt, the volume of the world oceans would increase, so it would make environment bad effect and would be dangerous for human life.
