One of the worst kept secrets in the United States is the increasing threat coming from homegrown terrorists.  They are the most dangerous since they live and work among us.  However, in the name of political correctness the issue has been swept under the rug since to discuss it requires discussion of the source.  Sadly, the media spends more time on Tiger Woods’ marital problems.

With increasing acts of homegrown terrorism exposed weekly, the issue can no longer be ignored and recent activities are telling.

Five American Terrorists Detained in Pakistan

Last week five young Americans were detained in eastern Pakistan after they contacted al Qaeda and the Taliban.  The five include two Pakistani-Americans, two Ethiopian-Americans and one Egyptian-American.  So much for their diversity: now for the similarities.  All are Northern Virginia students in their 20’s and all are of the Islamic faith.

As reported by Pakistani authorities, the men admitted they went to Pakistan with the intention of joining Jihad and stated that they felt it the duty of all Muslims to wage Jihad against those killing Muslims; i.e. American solders.

Chicago-American Involved in Mumbai Massacre

Also announced last week, an American living in Chicago traveled to India and Pakistan to videotape targets and brief terrorists in preparation of their assault in Mumbai, India last year that resulted in the deaths of 166 people.  David Hedley, a 49-year-old son of a Pakistani diplomat and socialite American mother, was not only involved in the Mumbai massacre, but also planned an assault on the Danish newspaper that published cartoons Muslims found offensive.

Somali-American Extremists

A month ago the FBI charged eight people with recruiting Somali-Americans to join an Islamist extremist group in Somalia.

Afghan-American Extremist

In September, airport shuttle driver Najibullah Zazi was charged in an al Qaeda plot to bomb US targets.  Zazi is an Afghan national with a green card living in the United States.

Fort Hood Massacre

The worst terrorist act carried out in the United States since 9/11 was the Fort Hood massacre perpetrated by Major Nidal Malik Hassan.  13 US solders were killed and 30 wounded in this premeditated attack.  Hassan’s radicalization into extreme Islam played a role in the massacre, but politicians try to sweep such discussions under the covers in the name of political correctness.  The same phobia resulted in the military allowing this avoidable massacre to occur.

Seeing the pattern here?  Only one blinded by political correctness or extreme leftist philosophies would not.

This Blog has quoted Chinese General Sun Tzu about the importance of knowing ones “enemies and know yourself”.  OK, we seem to have the first part started.  The enemy is defined: a virulent form of Islam that is accepted by a small percentage of the total Islamic community.  However, its tentacles go far beyond the minority and it is evident that a growing number of young Muslims living in the United States and elsewhere are attracted to its Jihadist message.

When considering the reasons behind the radicalization of Islam and its terrorism we can no longer take an “Alice in Wonderland” perspective.  It grows because it is achieving the desired goal; it is working.  Each time an act of terrorism occurs, the Dr. Phil’s in the State Department, Western Europe and the leftist press, seek to understand reasons, i.e. justifications, for the group’s disenfranchisement.  That dog won’t hunt any more!

While our law enforcement and military must take aggressive action, they can only be a piece of the successful effort.  This Jihadist movement will continue to grow unless the larger Muslim communities in the United States and elsewhere stop offering even tacit support for the gangsters.  But, before we can expect these Muslim communities to act, democracies worldwide must stop making excuses for evil.  World leaders, including our President, must publically call our “friends”, the Saudi’s, the Egyptians, and others on the anti-western and anti-Semitic propaganda they promote in their schools and press.

For decades the West employed a head-in-the-sand approach with radical Islam that played a role in creating the ugly Genie.  It will take a long and concerted effort to put it back in the bottle and this must start with clarity.  While George W. Bush made errors, his clarity on the issue of terrorism will be required to win this battle.  As President Bush said in 2001, “You’re either with us or against us in the fight against terror.”  He was spot on!

I just came across Hebrews 5:8-9. This just leveled me.

Although Jesus was a  son (God’s), he learned obedience from he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.

I run from the suffering I don’t want. I run from it trying everything I can to fix it or just not deal with it. I even curse my suffering in my mind, indirectly in my words and creatively in my works.

God however, even taught his own physical son through the suffering in his life. What did he teach Jesus? Obedience. The ability of discernment and recognition of God’s voice. I want that but show mercy on me lord. Through that suffering which Jesus did endure and ultimately died from, Jesus was made perfect.

So in my suffering, should I long for something else I can compare myself to or run? No. I should consider every trial in the will of God from which he allowed and from which he will deliver me if it glorifies him. Each trial can teach me to be more like Christ. How stubborn I am when faced with the work of the perfection my spirit desires to become.

It is hard to understand but a continental shift in faith is occurring in my life. The form of it can not be presented in well crafted words or works and revolves around the same words I have been reading in my life for as long as I have been able to read. The shift isn’t measured in locational standards or by distance of thought but by a centering of existence in and around Jesus.

When the early church was teaching about Jesus, I have just read/researched, they taught about what Jesus did more than his teaching. What he did for us by dieing on the cross.
Using the common sunday school model of a wheel spoke; the center hub being Jesus and the spokes being various parts of life, I now see that instead of being with jesus in the center, my life is lived accordingly hanging on along the outside wheel. When opportunity approached, aka a spoke, for example a film, I, with the film am outside of Jesus, looking at Jesus, looking at where Jesus is, from me and the film’s perspective. I can not say that I have changed until Jesus reveals to me that he has changed me.

Jesus Centered faith is walking with Jesus, next to Jesus, focusing on what God has done for us and not what we are doing for God. I prayed a few weeks ago that I would stop hiding Jesus in God, stop hiding my faith in Jesus by just telling those I was ministering about God in my life without mentioning Jesus.

A lifetime of recalling what one person did for God will never equal a lifetime pointing to the one thing Jesus did for us.

If you support a missionary please don’t gauge whether or not to give to them or to continue giving to them by the number of people that have been saved because of their ministry.

Pray for this man who just emailed me and know the He who began a good works in you will complete those works. Meaning God is moving in your ministry while you believe it or not.

…I just visited your site and I am touched by your love and faith for Christ.  Recently and over a period of several years, my family and I have gone through some pretty amazing trials, two of our children had serious problems with depression and drugs, we had to have our teenage son locked up for 18 months, my wife had cancer, I had to close my business of over 20 years, and we lost our home.  All I can say is that it has only been through my faith in Christ and my surrendering continually to Him that He has sustained my family and myself, and has kept me sane as I nearly lost that too.

Your email came at a great time in my life as the lord is moving and you are witness to that. You have felt great pain as life unfolded un-according to your plans. требовать универсального метода преобразования реальности,

Здесь можно согласиться с Жириновским, Россия — транспортная держава.
Но с важным уточнением: понимая шире, не как связь внешних
(напр. Европы и Азии через Россию), но как внутреннее определение.
Более того, само управление и есть прохождение “сигнала”, связь.
Чем более сложна система, тем важнее роль коммуникации.
Россия, очевидно, многоликий и многообразный общественный субъект,
и значение транспорта и коммуникации будет только нарастать.

Вторым важным симптомом перемен, движения сущности видится то,
чего жаждут в форме “дискуссии”. Действительно, были времена,
когда “дискуссия” (т.е. демагогия) легко и быстро обеспечивала доступ
к бадье с едой. Поверхностность и лицемерность таких сугубо медийных
фокусов очевидна, сейчас они не помогут. Но посмотрим глубже:
в процессе созерцания “дискуссий” симулировалась “причастность”,
т.е. воплощение (хоть и убогое) той самой всеобщей взаимосвязи,
истины бед и побед. В этом была тогдашняя правда бесконечных бла-бла-бла.
Но сегодня “фокуснические фразы” не помогут, не накормят.
“Дискуссии” должны быть опрокинуты в реальность, в материю.
А там уже увидим, на каком уровне они смогут зацепиться.
Здесь можно согласиться с Ириной Ясиной и её практикой “малых дел”.
Но также с важным уточнением:
на смену лозунгу “никакой поддержки кровавому режЫму” приходит
вовсе не компромисс (о котором говорит Ясина), но следующая ступень процесса.

Не компромисс, но и не отказ от принципов, а понимание того, что принципы,
если они “живые”, изменяются и развиваются в своем существе.
Не дискуссия для победы над “противником”, не компромисс через обоюдное
поражение принципов, но сотрудничество для дела, для людей.
Тогда и “дискуссия”, и “компромисс” принимают форму ограниченных,
подчиненных моментов. Это не универсальные методы, но инструменты.
Главное — результат и “дело”. Наше дело — Россия, живой народ.

их общечеловеческой идеи, Россия порочна
уже одним своим существованием.

Вспомним недавнее прошлое, памятные попытки
ускорений и модернизаций: Горбачев бросил весла
и упивался европейскими радостями, пока мы тут
выбирали на свободных демократических выборах
начальников транспортного цеха и прочих мэров.
Ельцину в уши вдували Идею и он видел в грабежах
зарницы великого рыночного освобождения.
Чой-то нехорошо получилось.

Рыхлое, эклектичное, громоздкое нынешнее Послание
содержит, будете смеяться, великую идею.
Эта идея прописана также и в Конституции:
Россия суверенное социальное государство.
Благополучие народа — это и есть смысл смыслов,
а Свобода, Справедливость и прочие “ценности”
его атрибуты.

Отсюда понятно, что ни наивный импорт,
ни самотёк повседневной жизни, но лишь внутреннее
раскрытие сущности, утверждение российского народа
как субъекта во всем его многообразии и универсальном
единстве, в определениях свободы и справедливости
и есть действительное содержание истории России.

Сегодняшний этап можно назвать “вопросительным”:
что вы, граждане, думаете и можете?
Ответ — “давайте все разрушим и затем построим” –
на двойку. Сохранение России принимается за аксиому.
Также предполагается, что нынешняя “среда”, сегодняшнее
общественное пространство уже достаточно развито
для обнаружения активности.
Эклектичность и рыхлость Послания — та вынужденная форма
в которой “изображается” современная Россия.
Это не “единственно верное” и всесильное, но “одно из”
и “вероятное” изображение. Оно могло быть и другим.
Это оценка, предложение и вариант.
Как вариант Президента он, само собой, имеет преимущественное
право на утверждение и воплощение. Но это право не является
исключительным.
Детали и оболочка необходимы, но не в них существо дела.
Вопрос в том, что российские граждане могут и чего хотят.
Кнут (в отличие от известных эпох) не будет “двигателем” прогресса,
но таки пока останется “ограничителем” для особо увлекающихся
и наглых.

здесь и сейчас есть одна великая идея — Россия
на её пути к самой себе, к свободе и справедливости
как естественным атрибутам жизни народа.

Die Killerspieldiskusion wird wohl in den nächsten Tagen und wochen wieder angeheizt werden. Mit dem Release vom neuen Ableger von Call of Duty wird verschiedenes Kanonenfutter geliefert. So ist eine Sequenz des Spiels schon sehr umstritten, obwohl das Game noch nicht im Handel ist.

Zuerst mal gleich das Video, damit wir auch wissen wovon wir sprechen:

In der Szene ist man ein Undercoveragent und ‘muss’ als dieser mithelfen Zivilisten zu töten. Die Darstellung der Szene habt ihr ja grad gesehen. Die Reaktionen der Gamer ist unterschiedlich.

Die Frage ist für mich wieso ein Publisher ein Spiel auf den Markt bringt, das nicht Öl in ein loderndes Feuer ist, sonder eine Tankwagen voller Kerosin.

Ist es ein PR Gag um das Game noch bekannter zu machen? Kaum, denn Call of Duty ist ein klassiker und sehr bekannt.  Anscheinend wollen die Entwickler die Abscheulichkeit des Terrorismus zeigen und es dem Spieler ermöglichen, sich in die Gedankenwelt der Verbrecher zu versetzen.

Wie seht ihr das? ist es möglich in einem Game die Sicht eines Terroristen so zu simulieren, dass man sich wirklich in diesen hineinversetzen kann? Und ist diese Umsetzung der richtige Weg dafür?

I love Detroit, and well, now that my video is out, many Detroiter’s have expressed that they don’t love me or my video. Most people consider word choice more than meaning. Too few actually acquire the freedom to photograph. To photograph what comes along the way is to be living with a camera in hand. What am I but just another chamber of Detroit’s orchestra.  In my city, Shooting only adds to the music. Passing prophets for your purpose makes your works more than your meaning.

When you find your name on Michael Moore’s homepage, that is when you know you have done something polar. The Wall Street Journal purchased my content and my story on a dump truck that was hanging forever out of a fourth floor window at the Packard Plant and ran it front page in today’s paper. An editor told me it was the first time ever a photographer had pitched a story to the WSJ that they ran.  I am interested in telling my side of the story.

I just returned from doing a film series in China on the renewable energy sector to show to Congress/the Obama administration when I learned that this story was actually going to be in the WSJ. Not only in, but on the front page. If I didn’t have to edit all day tomorrow, I would tell you more about China, More about how I got to the actually film/photograph this dump truck event, and how my laptop with all my china work on it was stolen in SF today, only to be returned in 2 hours. Maybe more tomorrow.

У анархической, внесистемной оппозиции отняли последнее:
Марину Литвинович и диагноз. Теперь в сумасшедших,
“больных” и обжигающих глаголом ходят простые депутаты,
а чемпионы по шахматам лишены и этой радости.

Естественно, правовые последствия, оргвыводы и т.п.
на данном этапе будут не столь значительны, как это
могло бы показаться со стороны. Важнее другое
и уже совершенное: юродивые вошли в медийное пространство
не как отдельные личности (чем существовал Жириновский),
но как образ мысли. Медийная коробочка затрещала,
заскрипела, но выдержала. И это позитив.

Системная оппозиция завершила освоение и присвоение
энергетики внесистемной оппозиции, вплоть до юродства
как метода извержения “правды”. И это второй позитив.

В результате (результате пока еще виртуальном, “медийном”)
оформилось единое политическое пространство.
И это третий, главный позитив.
Пока это дикое поле как в смысле диких форм реализации,
так и в смысле неосвоенности.
Здесь важно отметить, что развитость, простроенность,
“разумность” политической среды очевидно много ниже
“разумности” и профессионализма каждого отдельного участника.
В дикой среде всякий дичает, это нормально.

Таким образом, если и не сами выборы (что было бы естественно
в “нормальных”, “цивилизованных” условиях), но обсуждение
(всего лишь обсуждение) их результатов стало политическим
событием, обнаружением политического пространства,
об отсутствии которого так долго плакали революционеры и шахматисты.

Пока это настольный футбол, да.
Но если будут хорошо себя вести, в бассейн нальют воду.

測試與評價

原理：
Frixion 的祕密不在擦頭上，而是墨水！Frixion 的墨水在高於攝氏 65 度的溫度下就會發生物理變化，變成透明的，所以才會有被「擦掉」的效果。Frixion 擦頭實際上在做的，只是利用摩擦生熱的原理，將紙的表面熱到 65 度而已！

然後我自己測試一下
寫落普通紙，用手摔佢真係有機會會變透明，最起碼會淺左色，我隻手冇hi到墨
用膠擦，非常乾淨，膠上沒有墨水

再寫落d光面字度，一摔就甩，今次成手都係墨
用膠擦，非常乾淨，膠上黏上墨水
證明d墨既黏附力唔夠

寫落油印紙一類吸墨力強的紙上，的確好難摔到透明
不過非常遺憾而可惡的是當用螢光筆一油，全部字化晒
更遺憾的是用那擦膠擦學校用的油印紙時，會把部分墨化開，留下污跡

結論：

Signo Eraseable與Hi-tec-c

Last week, David Letterman, host of CBS’ the “Late Show with David Letterman,” made headlines when he admitted to have had sex with women who have worked on his show. He announced this news on his late-night talk show along with the fact that he was a victim of extortion resulting from these acts; $2 million (USD) was the asking price to keep the news quiet.

A fan of Letterman, I experienced some mixed emotions upon hearing the news. Because of the way he presented this story, I found myself having a strange sense of tolerance and feeling quite nonchalant about the matter. Moreover, I was quite impressed with how he did apologize to the public voluntarily.

Overall, I do believe that he made the right decision. Now, instead of the media trying to dive into his life for the truth, the media is now focusing on whether he should have apologized on national television. This is a faux pas if there ever was one. In a sense, by using humor, Letterman added naïvety to his actions and made his story easier to digest than if he had maintained silence or denied the claims altogether. On a historical note, when President Clinton found himself in a similar situation, his actions—and the fact that he was President of the United States—led to much greater consequences than Letterman will ever face. Who knows what would have been if Clinton had taken the same route as that of Letterman.

Yes, what Letterman did was wrong, and yes, he probably deserves a little more public heat than he is receiving, but he handled his conduct with perfect political poise. The only question now is whether these surfacing truths will result in the last of his marriage.

The police took my camera and erased an approx 15-20 images, none of which I believe could have been viewed as negative towards the police. I have 12 images  left and 2 videos. here are some of the images and the story. This story is a work in progress and will be updated as I have time. look to the comments for how advice was given by more veteran pros. I did not write all of this to complain but to inform others about how i was treated and more so as a news piece about what happened to these kids. They are the ones I really care about.

A newspaper in Hamtramck is doing a story on this and asked me for a reaction to the police response to my story. Here is what the police said not verbatim, “The camera was left in the car and we asked whose camera it was and the journalist said it was his and the other kids said it was theirs so we took it.”  Which is not what happened. The video with the arab kids ends with me leaving the car with my camera. I have the rest of the 10 minutes of footage on my computer which ends with the police driving with the camera on in the car. Arab kids taunt police and later are detained. There are 10 more minutes in the video of the police ride that is not shown in this film. The camera was still recording which was not my objective as the police officer drove the kids to station.  In the video at 1:03  there is a moment when the police car arrives by the kids and I take a photo while in video mode. If you click the shutter release button while recording video with the Canon 5d Mark II the video will pause while the camera records the image. A shutter will sound too. I do not have this moment when I clicked the shutter. I should have a photograph of that moment, but the police erased it. Neighbors who watched this scene that I was in said that the police had sprayed all races equally and did not subject one more than another to the mace or interrogation.

Hamtramck is a city within the city of Detroit and has 26 nations living in a very small area of two miles by two miles. It was a Polish majority to the point that Pope John Paul stopped by in his trip to America.  It is now a very dynamic town with many immigrants that I kind of see could resemble an early Ellis Island. I was at my church in Hamtramck and saw a fight forming across the street near the high school. (photo example-erased)

I ran with my camera to photograph. There was a large group of Arab kids walking in a very tight group, maybe 50 of them in total. I photographed that from afar (photo erased) and watched the police trail the group of kids away through side streets. I walked through some alleys and jumped a random fence after taking the photos shown above of the kids running. I interviewed a few black students walking away form the fight and then walked towards the police controlled intersection. I found a group of about 15 Arab (sorry for the generalization) students who had been maced. I introduced myself and told them who I had shot for in the past. The group of Arab kids were taunting the police officers before I arrived with curse words and yelling, and eventually the cops came by and sprayed us down with mace. The kids kept on saying one of my clients that I mentioned. The kids ran away when the cops came. The group split and some ran back to my position. The cops came over and sprayed the area again. I went in the car with the kids to follow the story but more to escape the crazy amount of mace in the air. The car hadn’t moved and the cops came up and got us out of the car. They took my camera immediately after I told them I was a photographer.  I was told to have my hands on the trunk. We were there for what seemed like 30 minutes as the cops yelled at the kids about respect and tried to cross interrogate them.  I told them that I was a freelancer they asked me who I had shot for and I told them. They then asked well if you shoot for them (citing examples of organizations i gave him) why don’t you have credentials? I told them as a freelancer I didn’t have credentials. I wasn’t carrying my NPPA card. Come to think of it I don’t think i have received that yet. The cop then told me that I need to get another day job if all i did was follow kids causing fights. I don’t think I will cite examples of whom I have worked next time I am asked in this type of situation. It was used more against me than I could have thought of.

I understand now that the choice to get into the car was not a wise one when the cops were around. Like I said, I thought it was the best choice at the time.  My hands were on car on the account that I was “guilty by association”. I don’t that that is a law. I wanted to ask, “Aren’t I innocent until proven guilty by association?” But I didn’t.

On the way to pick up my camera an hour later I ran into the mayor, the former chief of police and the superintendent campaigning in the streets. I did not know who they were when I asked them for directions. I told them my story and the mayor called the police without me asking her for the release of my camera. The former chief of police asked me my thoughts on how the police handled the situation and I told him my thoughts that were not negative. Then the superintendent asked me my thoughts and I told her that we live in a broken world that needs fixing.

I biked to get my camera at the police office. When I arrived the police officer behind the desk, who was not at the original scene, tried to reprimand me. He told me my 1st amendment rights were “Canceled” when I didn’t leave the scene when the cops told me to. Well the cops didn’t tell me to. “Its like calling fire in a crowded theater”, the police officer behind the counter said.

They gave me back my camera after 20 minutes. I biked to my church to continue a film I was making for my church. Turned on my camera and the screen popped up, “No Card”. I was like, “What the junk?” The cops had taken my card. The cops gave me the camera without the memory card in the camera. I should have checked at the station. I biked back and they said they didn’t know where it was and couldn’t find the memory card even though it had been there a few minutes ago with only a few police in the building. The main police officer behind the desk that I was working with couldn’t believe that someone had taken out the card after he, who was in charge, looked at the images. He was called into the back with a whisper from the police officer who originally took my camera. I did not see whom actually whispered but I assume it because he is the one who went into the back of the station to look for the card. Many times he repeated that he had no idea how to open the memory card compartment to take out a memory card. In his words, “I have no idea how to work them things.”

About 20 minutes later they said they found it in a cops pocket who was driving home to a suburb.  The officer behind the counter said it had been taken out of my camera in a mix up between shifts and that the officer with the memory card was on his way back and that he would arrive in 20 minutes. I found it quite strange that possible “supporting evidence” was in an off duty officers’ pocket on the way to his home.  1.5 hours later the police officer who originally took my camera, told me to get another day job, told me i was guilty by association, met me at my church down the road and handed me my card and said it was all his fault. I told him I forgave him. I reviewed the card to find the images of police and some of the arab kids had been erased and those images couldn’t be recovered by a software program. I am assuming that the police did not erase my 2 movies because they saw the first frame of the movie as a bad photograph.

Habib taunts the police because he and the other Arab kids in this crowd felt the police were racist. Later after I was released, the neighbors said the boys taunted too much. One neighbor commented that the cops were not spraying one race more than another.

There was a  fight between the black students and the arab students at the high school in Hamtramck last year that i was told was about 150 vs 150 students. In another fight over a bike, I tried to break it up by talking calmly between the two cultures and that time, love prevailed.

but for now, i am so frustrated because of the police stories not matching up about my memory card and since the images were erased without them telling me, I felt lied to. The most frustrating part is I am trying to tell stories that will change people. The more I am cut down by those who don’t want the truth to be told, the stronger the desire to fight for the provision and documentation of truth becomes in my heart.

I believe the police did what they thought was best at the time. It was very aggressive atmosphere. I did not ever lose my temper or raise my voice. I could understand why they took my camera, why my hands were on the trunk, why I was asked questions. I can not understand why they erased images and can not understand a few others things.

Personal thoughts; About my faith, I will say that it was strengthened today. God’s plans are bigger than me, bigger than my plans. The images are gone and I am safe. The way that things went down at the police station it seemed very likely that the police made a story up in front of me about where the card was. The fact remains that there are children tomorrow who feel they need to find security in their appearance and their status and that the eye for an eye judgment system is the main determining factor to fight or not to fight. I have not covered any wars and have only had my life threatened twice before. I have only been maced twice before. The scene wasn’t that crazy, it was more unexpected. It is my goal with truth and integrity to creatively achieve engaging storytelling.

I unfortunately wrote over the card because I was on deadline for another assignment and had to use the card. I did not use much of the 16gb card but later went back and tried to recover the files and they were already written over. Everything happened really fast and it was a very tough decision but I had to use the card.  Recovering the files through software did not occur to me quick enough.

My understanding (and again, you want a lawyer to give you proper legal advice relating to your situation) If police take someone into custody, they have a right to take a camera for safekeeping. There may also be limited rights if they had probable cause to believe that it had evidence of a crime. But they do not, under any circumstances, have a right to delete images, or to demand the deletion of images. In fact, that could be viewed as destroying evidence. Destroying evidence can lead to a presumption against the party that destroyed the evidence.

In fact, you might find out if any of the kids were arrested. If so, be sure to tell their lawyers that the police deleted images which may have contained evidence that would prove or disprove wrongdoing. Having their case affected is the primary way that police officers are encouraged to stay in line.

You should also consider filing a complaint with the police department. They might not have a policy relating to handling of cameras and digital images. If they don’t, this incident is evidence that one is needed. Use your connections with the mayor and others to encourage such a policy.

Не понимаете, даже когда вам американским языком объясняют.
Я уж не говорю, чтобы кто-то из вас взял свои обидные слова взад.

Il più macroscopico esempio di sistema chiuso entropico del XX secolo fu l’Unione Sovietica, ovvero la patria del comunismo. Nel corso degli anni mi è capitato di sentire critiche di tutti i tipi su questa ideologia che ha scorrazzato per tutto il XIX ed il XX secolo, ma le cui radici si possono far affondare nell’archeologia del pensiero politico, fin dai tempi degli esseni, dei dolciniani, della Città del sole di Tommaso Campanella, dell’Utopia di Thomas Moore. Una delle critiche più insistite in cui mi è capitato di imbattermi è che in effetti si tratta di un ideale irraggiungibile, perché in ogni società comunista c’è poi sempre qualcuno che comanda, per lo più in modo dispotico, e chi invece ubbidisce, per cui il principio di uguaglianza tanto sbandierato è in effetti solo una mera impostura dietro cui si mascherano dittature illiberali ed odiose. Difficile dissentire, ma secondo me non è questo il punto. Se oggi l’Unione Sovietica non esiste più non è certo per una rivolta della sua popolazione contro il sistema tirannico che la governava da ben settant’anni. Apro una parentesi: chi studia con passione la storia sa bene che quasi mai i sistemi tirannici crollano in quanto tirannici. Già Machiavelli aveva notato che gli uomini, di norma, non sembrano soffrire più che tanto della perdita della loro libertà (semmai della perdita del loro portafogli). La Germania hitleriana è rimasta fedele al suo tiranno fino a quando i russi sono entrati a cannonate nella Cancelleria del Reich, e ben pochi italiani hanno seriamente messo in discussione il loro tiranno Mussolini, finché è rimasto al potere. Chiudo la parentesi e ritorno all’Unione Sovietica.

Il crollo del comunismo è avvenuto per implosione, ovvero il comunismo è morto di morte naturale. Per quasi trent’anni Stalin aveva provveduto a massificare i suoi concittadini, uccidendo e deportando chiunque non si conformasse, cioè chiunque dimostrasse di non essere esattamente come tutti gli altri. Dopo di lui, per più di vent’anni Breznev ha tirato avanti sulla base di un patto non scritto con tutti i russi, secondo il quale tutti erano autorizzati, anzi obbligati a non far niente in cambio di niente. I russi chiamano questo periodo Grande Stagnazione. Ma se vogliamo usare un’espressione più dotta, possiamo parlare di Grande Entropia. Ovvero, la completa omologazione di tutti gli individui del sistema, attuata per di più in modo forzoso (come se ce ne fosse bisogno), ha prodotto un equilibrio inerte che può esprimersi come una totale entropia del sistema, ossia una temperatura uniforme e priva di qualsiasi possibilità di trasformare il calore in lavoro. Od anche, in altre parole, la totale potatura di tutte le differenze ha generato un’uguaglianza paragonabile solo a quella di un camposanto. Come ogni biologo ben sa, l’uguaglianza è sinonimo di morte, la diversità è fonte di vita. E non solo in termini di biodiversità, ma anche di semplice vita individuale. La morte di un singolo essere vivente consiste nel rimescolamento irreversibile degli elementi materiali che lo compongono, così che tali elementi non potranno mai più costituire l’organismo di cui fecero parte. Citando Foscolo, si tratta dei “miserandi avanzi che Natura con veci eterne a sensi altri destina.”

Passiamo ora ai sistemi capitalistici e liberali, cioè al mondo in cui viviamo. Esso prospera proprio grazie alle infinite diversità che coltiva in nome della libertà, limitando il principio di uguaglianza al solo ambito della legge (umana e divina). Ovvero, siamo tutti uguali davanti alla legge, abbiamo tutti gli stessi diritti e gli stessi doveri, siamo tutti figli di Dio. Stop. Dopo di che, nel rispetto di Dio e degli uomini, siamo liberi di fare e di dire ciò che vogliamo, siamo liberi cioè di esseri diversi, e questa diversità è il motore della nostra vita, della vitalità del sistema.

Ma attenzione: il secondo principio della termodinamica vale anche per questo nostro così celebrato sistema. Anch’esso è ineluttabilmente sospinto verso un sempre maggiore grado di entropia. Il sistema economico e sociale liberale e capitalistico si fonda sulla libera concorrenza, ma come ben sappiamo il libero gioco delle forze economiche tende a seguire le stesse leggi che regolano l’evoluzione naturale delle forme di vita animale e vegetale: il più adatto all’ambiente sopravvive, il meno adatto soccombe. Il più forte elimina il più debole, o meglio se lo mangia, e trae da lui quella nuova energia che poi trasforma, in parte, in lavoro. Prima o poi resteranno solo i pesci più grandi, e non sapranno più chi mangiare. O meglio: il sistema potrà ancora, per un po’, continuare a trasformare calore in lavoro, ma non ci sarà più nulla con cui rinnovare l’energia. È per questo che in molti stati esiste un Antitrust, ma ormai non basta: oggi il mercato è globale e non esiste un governo internazionale che possa istituire un Antitrust mondiale. Quando l’omologazione fosse completa il sistema mondiale cesserebbe di esistere: in ogni settore produttivo resterebbero solo alcuni colossi che solo artificialmente potrebbero continuare a coesistere, per un po’. E quando dico artificialmente, intendo a scapito del principio di libertà: l’Antitrust è un mezzo coercitivo messo in piedi dai governi per ridurre la libertà economica dei singoli operatori.

Prima o poi, dunque, il sistema imploderà.

The Jailor, a free man, ran into a jail to talk to a Jesus filled man and asked what must I do to be saved. When God does miracles like opening up the jail cells of our lives, it is often, most often for those around us he is talked to bring them closer to him.

Jesus stepped out of heaven for your personally. He is the only one in all religions who say, “I am the Truth” and he continues, “the way and the life”. If you believe in Jesus you will be saved.

Look at what Jesus taught. How does that experience affect you? We are kind because he is kind, but that is not enough. Look at the Word and the Wonder. Look at the miracles Jesus has performed.

WE have a savior that just doesn’t live, but lives in us. WE have to tell the story. It is the gospel. From Gen 1 to Rev 22. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Mark 2:6 “What is this wisdom that has been given that he even does miracles!”

Take the passage John 14:6 and compare it to any other religion. You will not find it anywhere else.

Chicas Praying For Healing, Real Church, Hamtramck

When I was 21 I could not convey my idealism or dreams in one 5 minute sitting. I was told I did not know what I want. In response I told everything I wanted but not in a Christmas list manner but in an idealistic matter. Everything could happen and my words could be the push factor for the happening.

At 23 I could not convey to a New York Times editor what I wanted to do as a photographer in less that 5 minutes. It was 2 am in a barn in New York. Words upon words and many dreamed filled metaphors brought out not a single tangilbe dream of mine. Explanations that never ended only compounded to find some other realm to talk about.

Now 6 years later, I find that my idealism exits stronger than before yet I use less words because my search is more refined. More faith meets the greater questions that exist. The stakes are higher with larger budgets and bills. I have become patient knowing in a confident sense that I am young and have much to learn.

Wait and be patient, everyone who is younger, Your purpose will come. It is ok not to know but waist not in the reality that you are young but with ambition and contentment, await eagerly the dreams you have in your heart only to be brought by God and your mind will be blown.

My 6th trip to Asia, 2nd time to China, 19 days from now.

I was exploring an abandoned building last night and came across this group of people from the suburbs who were tipping had spent 3 months trying to push this truck off the 4th story of the packard plant for the fun of it. Not sure what the photos are worth, but wanted to send them along in case. I have more, just wanted to send you two for now. I have been doing a story the scrappers and urban spelunkers for the past 2 years. Crazy city.
