I love opinion pieces. I love them even more when I can express an off the wall analogy that smacks me in the face from out of the blue.

It’s Easter weekend, the NCAA tourneys going on (go Jayhawks), some people are out buying little outfits for Sunday’s church services- those of you that attend, and then there are those like me who have absolutely nothing better to do. So like you and others I was surfing the net, still researching an article I’ve been trying to write. Every where I go, everything I click on seems to do with Easter weekend and bunny rabbits. And then it dawns on me from way past half court.

Republicans ARE just like the modern day Christian in America. Personally I am an Agnostic so this weekend isn’t for me, although I must admit I do like the extra day off. The Christian community has been silenced for lack of a better term by crazy extremist within the Democrat party. You know it is true so don’t sit there batting your eyes and crossing your arms. “In God We Trust” going away, “Under God” gone, ten commandments ripped down and burnt (metaphorically of course) right along with the flag that it helped to create.

Political Correctness has said that all others are okay to worship, and say whatever and do whatever under the guise of religious freedoms (ie. The Mosque loud speakers in Michigan that sound off five times a day starting at 4:32am- just blasting through the neighborhoods, and it’s okay that’s okay to force on people.) but you Christians you need to be quiet. You need to sit there and shut up, yes you can go to church but don’t tell anyone. Don’t be proud of your heritage, oh no that would be racist, that would be discriminatory. You must except the view of everyone else (and for the most part we do). And so it is with the Republican Party. Oh yes it is. I’ve seen it, I’ve heard it, I’ve lived it.

Now Democrats on the other hand can say the damnedest things and no one will flinch. People have been so calloused by the hateful rhetoric of people the like of Senator Byrd (KKK member)  and of Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi that they aren’t shocked anymore. They are right there in your face, cursing you and everything you believe, and daring you to step off the moral high ground and defend it so they can yell some more. Declaring you’re a bigot and a sexist racist warmongering baby killing rich old white-man. It has almost reached the point were you may very well be required to don your little yellow crosses (used to be stars, but this isn’t Germany). It is their way or no way at all pal. They want your freedom, they want your money, they want your church- so they can turn it into an abortion clinic or mosque. These people are evil people. And so it is with the Muslim extremist. I’ve heard it, I’ve seen it, I’ve lived it.

Republicans = Strong Christian moral foundation that created this country (sorry no amount of your rewritting history will change that fact- and I think that pisses you off the most).

Democrats = Osama Bin Laden extremist moral values that believe theirs is the only way, that everybody besides them are infidel, zionist, “Neo-cons”. They demand that the country support their radical agenda that is destined to crash this country into the ground.

 Now, enjoy your once Christian turned bunny rabbit holiday weekend. Me I’m going to drink a beer and watch some hoops, March it really is madness.
