The first round of the 2007 Europrediction is over. The poll closed on time and our system gathered, analysed and proceeded to the voting. How the things worked?
Tonight at 20:15 CET, CyBC aired the fourth part of the Eurovision previews. Marina Filippidou and Yannis Charalampous hosted the show. The panel of the jury commented and voteed the video clips. The panel was made of: Aleksia Anastasiou RIK Radio producer, Vasso Komninou Eurovision TV commentator, Giorgos Papas representing oikotimes.com, Markus Gisslen representing escsweden.com and Barry Viniker representing esctoday.com.

Eight more video clips was commented and voted by the panel tonight.

THE COMMENTS IN BRIEF
Lithuania: a mainstream song which might leave the country out of top ten.
Malta: Aleksia Anastasiou said the song will get lost among the other songs unfortunately.
Moldova: nothing impressive and might get lost since appears after Switzerland.
Montenegro: too many rock songs and not a good performance from the debut state.
Netherlands: beautiful voice and typical Eurovision song and will proceed to the final.
Norway: sharing the same composer with Spain, but didn’t impressed our editor.
Poland: a gorgeous girl with a smashing performance, it has to proceed, hosts said.
Portugal: the hosts say the country is out of the Eurovision spirit, not bad oikotimes said.
Romania: hosts are excited and the panel seem to agree the song is very good.

With less than a month to go before this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, the betting offices can’t seem to make up their minds about this year’s winner. Switzerland’s DJ BoBo and his song “Vampires Are Alive” are still on the top of all betting offices, although in 2nd place and slightly behind the top are Sweden and The Ark. Not so far behind, in 3rd place we find Serbia’s Marija Šerifović, who according to the bookmakers is the second country to qualify for the Final (after Switzerland). Bulgaria seems to have even more success in the betting offices, as the country has climbed to 4th place, while the top-5 complete the Russian Serebro. On the second half of the bookmaker’s top-10 we find Ukraine, Belarus, Greece, Cyprus and Romania.
