On 11th of November I’ve also met with Mrs Grażynka. What should I say more – Perfect Woman!

One of my dear friends Christi has been an a weightloss jouney for the last year and a bit. In this time she has lost 180 pounds. Knowing that I do photography she approched me and asked if I would help her trach her weightloss sucess. I couldn’t have been more honored. Christi is one strong, motivated and determined woman. I just wish I had her willpower. So Christi asked if we could do some 180 pounds lost shots and then when she reaches her goal of 170 pounds we are going to do another goal reached shoot.

So we took advantage of one of the few nice sunny days in November and headed to Cambell Valley park for a photo shoot. It was a beautiful day and Christi looked amazing. I am so proud of her success and was thrilled to be apart of her journey. I am still in the process of editing but keep checking back to see her photo’s. Thank you again Christi and congratulations.

While Cindi and I were in Butte and Helena, Montana to photograph our friends Heather and RJ’s wedding (photos still to come) we had a few other photo diversions.   We have already shown you Amanda’s senior portraits here and here.  Another was headshots for Cindi’s younger sister, Teri, who was moving to Chicago at the end of our stay.  (Pssst…you’re wondering why she needs headshots…she’s a theater arts major…and directors like headshots)  So, I just knocked these out quickly one afternoon.  I hope these help Teri take Chicago’s theater scene by storm.

Mckayla expressed her heart’s desire to be an actor and has convinced not only her parents, but me as well that she has what it takes!  Of course, she needed some head shots for promotion and that’s how I got so lucky to photograph her. Mckayla was so awesome to work with and took direction like a pro. Mylie might be her favorite right now, but I’m looking forward to see what Mckayla’s going to show the world…you go girl!

It was a beautiful sunlit afternoon that I first met Shannon and Jermaine for their engagement session on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill. As an alumni of the university, Shannon was  familiar with the lay of the land and enthusiastic about having their engagement session on the old stomping grounds. And as you can see, the sunshine flooding through the trees gave us some beautiful soft light to work with.

Here’s some images of Vanessa and Rich’s engagement session from last night.  We almost canceled the session at 5:00pm because of weather … I’m so glad we didn’t.  The session was short but we created good images after good images.  I love the top photo …. as I’m photographing the two of them all of a sudden out of the blue comes a sail boat right on cue. The session did not start off so well …. within minutes from the start my right flip flop broke so I was left with one, hopping from one jagged rock to the next.
