JOLIET — Prosecutors want a Canadian publisher who penned a book about Drew Peterson to stop playing reporter.

Derek Armstrong, the operator of Kunati Publishing and the author of the account “Drew Peterson Exposed,” invoked journalistic privilege when the state police contacted him about testifying before a grand jury in November 2008.

But prosecutors filed a motion Tuesday claiming Armstrong was no reporter when he was supposedly “spending hundreds of hours interviewing key players” in the Drew Peterson case.

According to the motion, “Armstrong was not a reporter” since he was not “collecting, writing or editing news for publication” on a full or part-time basis.

In some situations, news reporters are protected from handing some information over to police or the court. That privilege isn’t ironclad and doesn’t extend to all people who write.

Armstrong failed to return calls for comment, as did Peterson’s attorney, Joel Brodsky.

Taped interviews
Peterson also could not be reached, but he is being held in the county jail on a $2 million bond while he waits to stand trial for the 2004 murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. Peterson is also a suspect in the 2007 disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson. The state police continue to investigate the mystery of the missing Stacy Peterson, a case they called a “potential homicide,” and have yet to bring charges against Drew Peterson or anyone else.

The state’s attorney’s office wants Armstrong to turn over taped interviews with Peterson, which he had previously refused to do. Charles B. Pelkie, the spokesman for State’s Attorney James Glasgow, declined to comment on the motion filed this week.

Allegations in books
In his book on the Peterson case, which was released in October 2008, Armstrong’s descriptions of some events contradict what members of the media witnessed. He also claims Stacy’s brother, Yelton Cales, “sexually touches (Stacy) several times” in 1990, when Stacy would have been 15 or 16 years old. Armstrong attributes this accusation to Stacy Peterson, but he apparently had never met or spoken with her.

Cales is a convicted sex offender, but he was never charged with abusing Stacy.

Besides the prospect of being forced before a grand jury, Armstrong might also be contending with his publishing house going belly up.

According to an Aug. 28 news story on the Web site for publishing trade publication Quill & Quire, “After just over two years in business, Kunati Books is folding.”

We’ve all seen it at some time or another….You’re sifting thru someone’s page and you run into THAT picture…That ONE picture that tells you that they are saying to themself, “I UNDENIABLY AM HAVING A GREAT TIME BEING…THE SHIT!” ..Then, and only then, have you experienced….”THE MYSPACE FACE”.

I can’t tell you how many foolish profile pics, I have seen with people giving the MYSPACE FACE. It makes me think that somehow everyone thinks that being COOL is what this face is all about.  The only thing this face is all about is LOOKING LIKE A FOOL.

The Myspace Face is a hybrid blend of the 3 worst picture poses imaginable…

1. THE PEACE SIGN
2. THE BLACK GIRL LIP PUCKER.
3. THE FACE SCRUNCH-UP

The MYSPACE FACE is pulled off properly by using bodily GEOMETRIC ANGLES. The poser’s Head is usually cocked at an ODDLY JANKY degree, as well as the GIMPY yet STRONG poised PEACE SIGN HAND.  If you are a Social Networker, you will notice that this pose is FAVORED with White and Asian Women on MYSPACE, but  It ‘s NOT AT ALL limited to Women.  MEN do this un-DAMN-cool face all the time. ESPECIALLY Black Men, which usually present the MySpace Face accompanied with the signature.. BOTTOM LIP BITE!! (Most commonly used by Gentlemen like Omarion, Lil MaMa and Tre Songs, etc.)  Somehow the MySpace Face pic gives you the impression that they are somehow screaming the word..”YEAAAAAAAAYAH, I THINK I’M FLY” in their mind. They believe that it gives them a whole RAPPERY/ I’M DOPE/I BUST MOVES type of image that only actually makes them appear EXCITED  yet ANNOYING at the same time.

There are a lot of things I am cool WITH…..BUT “THE MYSPACE FACE”???  ….IM COOL ON THAT!!!

Laut einer Pressemeldung sind in diesem Jahr die Fan Poster teurer geworden. Es geht darum, dass viele Fan Poster von Michael Jackson verkauft wurden. Interessant dabei ist, dass auch viele selbstgemachte Fotoposter gekauft wurden. Es wird erklärt, dass wegen der großen Nachfrage die offiziellen Poster nicht mithalten konnten. Dies soll einen neuen Trend eröffnen, da immer mehr Fans ihre eigenen Fotoposter machen lassen.

Tatsächlich habe ich das auch bemerkt, denn damals habe ich auf Ebay geschaut was so an Michael Artikel verkauft werden und für wie viel. Ich ernnere mich noch, dass ein Poster mit ganzen 45 Euro verkauft wurde, und es war ein selbstgemachtes Poster.

Scheinbar lohnt es sich heute sein eigenes Fotoposter zu machen, nicht nur weil es einem gefällt und schön ist sondern auch weil es jemand vielleicht irgendwann kauft, und sogar für mehr Geld als man selbst darin investieren musste. Interessante Entwicklung.

Lassiter’s aerospace company, Lass-Jet’s civilian configuration for it’s heavy lifter.  Conceived as a competitor to the C5A, the ship has VTOL and STOL capabilities, and can carry a full company of troops, a M1-A1  tank, two armored personnel carriers, or several tons of palleted freight.

Our heroines use their ship to move ground support personnel and equipment to and from various global operations, but it typically does not fly into forward areas, as it is completely unable to defend itself.

ho cambiato atteggiamenti e situazioni, ambienti e persone. aggiunto persone, più precisamente.
e ne sono soddisfatto.

mi chiedo solo perchè le persone ritengano futile questo percorso e si fossilizzino in se stessi, disprezzando chi percorre percorsi diversi. purtroppo la mia critica arriva a poco, scontrandosi con il mio modo egoista di analizzare il percorso di coloro che a volte ritengo più deboli.
