On Friday, February 19, 1993, Jennifer stepped off her school bus around 3 p.m., waved goodbye to friends, and started walking the short 200 yards to her home in rural Pasco County, FL. Children on the bus reported they saw a faded blue pickup truck slowly following Jennifer as she walked home. Jennifer never made it to her door.

During the next days, law enforcement equipped with police dogs and hundreds of volunteers scoured 60 square miles of rolling groves, pastures and woods surrounding the tiny Pasco town of Dade City.

Approximately two years later on Thursday, January 5, 1995, a couple hunting for scrap metal in a rural area of Hernando County discovered Jennifer’s missing book bag and clarinet case. The bag and case were found in Western Hernando County.

The suspect vehicle is a full size, older unknown model pick-up truck, blue in color.

Jennifer was last seen wearing a white zip-up “Hooters” sweat jacket with orange lettering on the left sleeve, a red long sleeve pullover sweater, possible cashmere or angora, a white turtleneck shirt, white denim pants and black lace-up style boots.

FARIBAULT, Minn. (WCCO) — Faribault Police are investigating the possible abduction of a 24-year-old woman and her three small children.

Authorities identified the woman as Andrea Moreno Ramirez and her three small children as 5-year-old Leslie, 3-year-old Lisbeth and 2-year-old Johnathan.

They were last seen leaving the Cannon Valley Clinic in Faribault with a man police identify as Angel or Luis Hernandez. At this point, police have been unable to verify his identity.

Hernandez is described as in his early-20s, 5- to 5-feet-4-inches tall, 140 pounds, well dressed with clean cut hair. He has a front gold tooth and often wears gold jewelry.

Lauren Spierer Case: Parents believe missing Indiana University student is no longer alive

(CBS) – The parents of Lauren Spierer, an Indiana University student who went missing last June, say they no longer believe their daughter is alive.

Robert and Charlene Spierer returned to Bloomington, Ind. this week, where they spoke with The Journal News, a local newspaper from just outside New York City, where the Spierer family is from.

When asked during the interview if she believed her daughter was still alive, Charlene Spierer responded, “I don’t.”

“We’re trying to be realistic. We know that if she had the chance to reach out to us, she would have done it,” Robert Spierer went on to tell the paper.

Spierer was last seen about 4:30 a.m. on June 3, 2011 at a downtown intersection after a night of partying with friends. A friend she was with that night told police Spierer walked home alone after being at a sports bar and a few downtown apartments.

There have been no clues as to what happened to her. Police and volunteer search efforts – including a search of 4100 tons of trash in a landfill – dug up no new information over the summer.

“It’s very frustrating to be talking about the exact same things we were talking about the first 30 days after her disappearance,” Robert Spierer told The Journal News.

Spierer’s parents also said they were frustrated with what they see as a lack of cooperation from two IU students, Jay Rosenbaum and Corey Rossman, who were reportedly with her the night she went missing.

Robert Spierer asked the parents of the two students to “take their sons to the police station and allow for the law enforcement to (perform) polygraphs.”

Although most of the persons of interest in the case will graduate in the spring, Robert Spierer told the paper that there is no “deadline on a person’s conscience.”

Tennessee police are still searching for 21-year-old Holly Bobo, who disappeared on Wednesday, April 13, 2011.

Cops say Holly may have been abducted from her home in Decatur County, Tenn., at around 7:30 a.m. Her family says that’s when she gets ready to leave for her classes in nursing school.

She was last seen by her brother, who says he saw her walking into the woods with a man he thought was their cousin. The man was wearing camouflage, but that was not an unusual sight in the area at that time because it was turkey-hunting season.

Moments later, a neighbor drove up saying she heard yelling coming from the garage 20 minutes prior. Realizing something was terribly wrong, Holly’s brother dialed 9-1-1. The neighbor had contacted Holly’s mother at work a few minutes earlier, and she had called 9-1-1 as well before rushing home.

When officers arrived and checked the house, they found evidence of blood on the floor of the garage.

In the days following her disappearance, cops say hundreds of volunteers came out to assist with the search, which stretched into parts of Henry, Carroll, Benton and Decatur counties.

On April 14, 2011, Holly’s cell phone and lunch bag were found on a roadside in Parsons, Tenn., according to the family.

Holly is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and 110 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes, though her natural brown hair may have grown out.

She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and light blue jeans.
