Today was a fun sunday. after tv we went to church. in dads sermon I learned that single edged sword cut off heads while double edged swords stab. and the bible is better then either. after that we had breakfast for lunch. this was followed by a dull 10 minutes when dad was supposed to play stubbs. 5 minutes later I had quiet time. in this I helped philip setup wordpress at http://209.197.42.122/hi.htm. I just found out that my server was turned off.

So I have finally gotten tired of my old layout that I had for my blog. it was getting old and like always I wanted something new. I tried a few different designs but I just didn’t look right, it looked as if it were missing something. I looked around a little more and found the one that you are looking at right now. I did some editing and got the city skyline that you saw in the last layout and I also added a twitter application so you can here more from me. I got a lot of stuff to say on here and want the whole world to know what I got to say. LOL. But I didn’t really want to talk you to death, come and check out my blog later this week for my new yearly Thanksgiving day special. There will be only one way to see what I got to say so check it out!

This is my first blog post. I’m feeling a bit unsure about how to go about blogging, but I understand it might bring benefits in the future and I look forward to seeing what I can do with this new technology.

Reading back on my first blog post, it didn’t flow very well at all. It’s because I need to just type out my thoughts and shouldn’t spend to much time trying to put it into words. I should just type it out and if I get it to follow my train of thought, it should come out more natural and flow better than my first one. It doesn’t seemed like I covered everything that came up in my mind and skipped over some stuff and that causes it to be kind of like awkward to read. I don’t know how to explain it, really, it just doesn’t go together well. I will work on that.

Even just after that first post, though, I did feel like I got to get in touch better with my own thoughts so that was good. Hopefully I will like this blogging thing.

gotta a few invites

a) skauda pirštukai – pradedu po truputį įvaldyti gitarą (iš pradžių žaidžiau su elektrine, bet paskui supratau, kad visai su akustine nesusitvarkau, tai grįžau prie mokymosi groti su akustine), pramokau šiek tiek RHCP “Other side”, va ir Antono pasiūlytą variaciją, kurią pagrojus skauda visą ranką ;D jau nebesijaučiu taip nevykusiai, kai nesiseka – juk tik mokaus ir nėr čia ko iš savęs iškart reikalaut perfekcionizmo ;D tad kai nebesijaudinu, visai neblogai einasi
b) noriu žiemos turim nuostabius žieminius drabužius, kuriuos norisi apsivilkti, o dabartinis oras toks netikęs – su žieminiais per šilta, o kažkaip rudeniniai drabužiai irgi ne iki galo veža, nes bet kokiu atveju grįžti namo šlapiom kojom, va :>
c) mokausi psichologija rules – kai pažiūri kokias Yale ar UCLA paskaitas ;D nes savose… toliau šia tema šiandien nekontempliuosiu gal.. Et, kad bent būtų laiko paskaityti kas įdomu iš tos pačios psichologijos, bet kam rūpi tai, kad domiesi kažkuo, ko programoj net su žiburiu nerasi.. bet vuolia – online lectures iš geriausių univerų šią spragą šiek tiek užpildo juk psichologija pagal idėją rimtas mokslas, juk gal galų gale paskui žmones konsultuoti reiks.. mažiukam geriau, jiem jau kažkiek ligtais ima derinti programą, o mes kaip ir likimo valiai – sena tvarka, jokio gilesnio supratimo ar daugiau specialybinių dalykų ar bent galimybės rinktis.. bet whatever ;D gal vis tik reikėjo po antro kurso išvažiuot Londonan mumi? Būčiau va sau UEL mokiusis tą pačią psichologiją, kur tieeeek įdomių paskaitų, kurias gali pasirinkti, mmm… tik va ekonominiai ir vertybiniai pamąstymai lėmė tai, kad likom na aš nesigailiu, nes dabar jau esu pagavusi, ką ir kaip reikia daryti – daugiau papildomai ir nesitikėti, kad univere galima kažko išmokti ;D
d) rašydama autoportretą supratau, kad man prie širdies kognityvistai – jau ir ankščiau buvo, kai dar mokymosi teorijas ėjom, o dabar einam asmenybės. Rašiau pagal G.Kelly konstruktų teoriją – sudėtingoka, ryt atiduosiu dėstytojui ir paskui pasidalinsiu savo rezultatais – ar nors man ir patiko, aš sugebėjau suprast ;D dar svarstydama apie kitas paradigmas, iš ko galima rašyti, susižavėjau egzistencine psichologija ir planuoju daugiau pasidomėti, nes dabar tik labai bendrais bruožais užčiuopiau bet paskutinis autoportretas greičiausiai bus iš socialinės-kognityvinės A.Bandura teorijos
e) nemėgstu Maslow, niu neužkabina jis manęs
f) Introduction to Child Development graudžiai žiūri į mane ir klausia – kada vėl sugrįši prie skaitymo? Nežinau.. Nes norisi daugiau ir gitara pagroti, ir paskaitas online pažiūrėti, bet pažadu grįžti ir vėl dalintis savo pastebėjimais čia per socialinės psi paskaitą skaičiau šiek tiek:
- gebėjimas atpažinti mamos balsą įgyjamas dar iki gimimo (čia susiję ir su girdimumu – nes geriausiai vaisius girdi, kai kažkas šneka, nes oda šiaip nėra labai pralaidi, tai tik atitinkami dažniai prasibrauna)
- gebėjimas atpažinti girdimą muziką formuojasi po 30sav (rock on)
- lytėjimo pojūtis susiformuoja apie 8sav – jei 8-9 sav paliečiamas žandukas, vaisius traukiasi, o nuo 14sav juda link lytėjimo. Nuo 13sav deda rankutes prie veiduko (jau būna jautri visa galva ir nugara ir aišku jie ypač daug stimuliacijos gauna jei yra ne vieni – dvynukų, trynukų ir kitų n-tukų atveju )
g) socialinė psichologija manęs neveža. Tad kai reikės kurso darbui (čia visai kas kita nei kursinis!!!! – tipo) tyrimą daryt, bus bėdos, nes ta preliminari idėja, kurią pristačiau truputį prasilenkia su realybe. O kursinis juk mano (ir Antono) tikrai ne iš tokių abstrakčių dalykų – o iš psichofiziologijos. Motorika, EMG and stuff, kur reikės išmokt su elektrodais draugaut ir pan. Tai nepatinka man socialinė. Bent jau tyrimą iš jos atlikinėti yra ne fun…
h) įsigijom fotografavimo priemonę that is awesome kai bus geras oras ir įsigysim tinkamą dėklą – judėsim į kadrų medžioklę

Obama ‘Reaches Out’ by Naming ‘Devout’ Muslims to Security Posts

(IsraelNN.com) U.S. President Barack Obama continues to “reach out to Muslims” by appointing them to key security posts amid charges he wrongly ignored internal Muslim terror. One recent appointee was harshly criticized for appearing on a British-based television station whose host is a member of a radical Muslim group.

His “reaching out Muslims” speech in Cairo last June has been followed by action, the latest being this past week’s swearing-in of a Muslim rights advocate to the Homeland Security Advisory Council, shortly after the Fort Hood massacre. HSAC members are involved in expertise on national security.

The new member is Syrian-born Kareem Shora, who was the national executive director of the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination (ADC), which previously has called on the United States to stop providing Israel with weapons because of alleged “atrocities” against Arabs. Her background for her new security post is having been a legal counsel and advocate for Muslim civil rights.

She also has been a frequent guest on the pro-Hamas al-Jazeera satellite network.

Shora, who has been described as a “devout Muslim, joins another devout member of the faith, Arif Alikhan, who was appointed as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development in the Department of Homeland Security. His qualifications for the job were listed as having been in charge of public safety in Los Angeles during his term of deputy mayor. One of his actions was to remove the plan that tracked Muslims in the city who were suspected of terrorist activities.

Americans have been jolted by several lethal attacks and confrontations with Muslims over the past year, including a plot to attack synagogues and down U.S. military aircraft, the manufacture of bombs, an alleged attempt to explode a Texas skyscraper, a plot to blow up malls in Boston, and last month’s Fort Hood massacre by a Muslim psychiatrist who was an officer in the army.

A desire to avoid the appearance of labeling all Muslims as terrorists lunged out from the shadows last month after President Obama faced criticism for not taking seriously the threat of Muslim terrorism within American society as well as in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Several months ago, President Obama appointed Dalia Mogahed, a “devout Muslim,” to his Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. She quickly came under fire for appearing in a telephone interview on a London-based Muslim television station, whose host is a member of an extreme Islamic group.

She said was unaware of the affiliations of her host, whose program included questions and comments favoring the implementation of Islamic Law (“sharia”).

Mogahed explained that she did not hang up the phone in the middle of the interview because “I assumed that very few people would watch this show but that doing something more dramatic would bring more attention.”

In the current issue of Newsweek, columnist Jacob Weisberg, citing former Secretary of State Colin Powell, wrote that “Obama’s [Muslim] heritage feeds a broader suspicion that he is too casual about the threat from America’s Islamist enemies.”

The journalist added, “With the massacre in Texas, Obama now confronts something that George W. Bush did not face in the years after September 11—not just a major act of domestic terrorism, but one struck from inside our security apparatus…. America does not face a threat from the perversion of faith in general. We face a threat from the perversion of one faith in particular.”

By all appearances, judgment seems to be heading for the United States of America.  As a watchman giving warning, I am urging everyone who is reading this to please follow the Lord’s Word from Isaiah chapter 55 verses 6-7 which is as follows:

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

May we all take heed to this warning while we still have the chance, because a time is coming when we will not.
