Kom precis hem efter att ha sett New Moon, och tänkte berätta för er om den.

New Moon är alltså del två i Twilight-serien, filmatiseringarna av Stephenie Meyers så kallade “vampyrböcker”. Visst, det ingår vampyrer i historien, men om man förväntar sig Dracula eller En vampyrs bekännelse lär man ju bli besviken. Twilight-serien är romantik, med målgrupp tonårstjejer. Och New Moon är kärlek, ångest och triangeldrama med en skvätt action.

Filmen börjar med att HappyBirthdayGirl!Bella lyckas skära sig i fingret på kalas hemma hos sin vampyrpojkväns familj (dålig idé) varpå tumult utbryter. Det hela utmynnar i att OverProtective!Edward bestämmer sig för att lämna Bella för att han tror att det är det bästa för att skydda henne. Angst!Bella blir Zombie!Bella och gör inget annat i flera månader än att tänka på Edward, sakna Edward och drömma mardrömmar. Hennes liv är totalt meningslöst. Enter Cute&Charming!Jacob.

Jag älskar Jacob så jävla mycket. Tvärtemot alla andra (jag ska ju alltid vara så tvärtemot) har jag aldrig gillat Edward, varken i böckerna eller filmerna (och nej, Robert Pattinson är fan inget speciellt). Edward är överbeskyddande, gammalmodig, könsrollsfixerad och litar inte att Bella klarar att fatta rätt beslut om sitt eget liv, och därför försöker han hela tiden beskydda henne mot hennes vilja, som i exemplet ovan. Jacob däremot. Pojkaktigt charmig, behandlar Bella som en jämlik kompis (även om han uppenbart vill mer än så), skämtar och driver med henne, hänger på på hennes korkade upptåg. Och New Moon filmen är Jacob i överflöd. I likes.

Men, som Sleepless påpekar (länk i förra inlägget), det som är fantastiskt med den här egentligen ganska medelmåttiga filmen är fanservicen. Jag förstår att vissa har reagerat på mitt objektifierande av killar här i bloggen, men jag tycker fan inte det är mer än rätt efter alla dessa jävla år av omotiverat sexualiserade och halvnakna tjejer i filmer & tv-serier (och överallt annars). Exempel, om ni behöver: Scrubs. True Blood. Death Proof. Det finns tusen till, men hur många finns det med sexualiserade killar? Och då pratar jag inte om Brüno eller annat som är gjort för att skrattas åt. New Moon innehåller massor av scener som är så sjukt uppenbart gjorda för att kåta upp unga tjejer. Edward går i slowmotion med den uppknäppta skjortan fladdrandes i vinden, och ett tajt linne som inte lämnar något åt fantasin.  Edward går i slowmotion och knäpper upp sin skjorta för att blotta sin skimrande hud (och sina höftben, mind you). Jacob sliter av sig sin skjorta för att stoppa Bellas högst moderata blödning (ett sus går genom publiken). Jacobs grabbgäng går omkring i bara shorts, under HELA filmen. Jag skojar inte. De är aldrig mer påklädda än så.

Och inte en enda sexualiserad tjej i hela filmen. Ingen. Noll. Jag är inte säker på att killar kan förstå hur fruktansvärt befriande det kan vara att se en sådan film.

Andere verweisen darauf, dass die Krise auch die Porno-Industrie getroffen habe. Insbesondere auch deshalb, weil viele Internet-Kunden sich heutzutage mit dem kostenfreien Material begnügen würden. Die Kauf- und Leih-DVDs wie auch kostenpflichtige Nackt-Portale seien kein Selbstläufer mehr.
