I ate alot. No really, trust me. Alot. Thursday morning for breakfast we had chips and dip provided by my sister. And than an amazing buffet at 11:00 am that included turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes (sweet and regular), butternut squash, corn, salad, fruit and of course dessert.  Since we obviously didn’t eat enough at the ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet we snacked all day and night on chips, M&M’s, Goldfish crackers, candy corn, ham, potato salad and cookies. And then just for kicks we ordered two pizzas at 7:00 pm.

We played Scattegories on Thursday night with my family.  My favorite answer of the night was with the letter E and the topic “reasons for being late”…  Ended up in jail. Ex-boyfriend slashed my tires. Exorcist was on. Ok, I guess you had to be there.

Angel’s new love is her ponies. She has 9 My Little Pony’s, two of which are a little bigger and so they are the mommy and daddy. She’ll brush their hair one at a time and set them all in a line. And then brush their hair again and lay them down to go night night. On Thursday night she played with them for quite awhile and then my sister and brother started traumatizing her by stealing them and hiding them from her. She’s one smart cookie though. At one point she glared at my brother, pointed at him and yelled, “Jimmy, you did it!”.

My parents had their house rented Wednesday and Thursday night and so we stayed in a hotel. This is the hotel that my mom, brother and sister-in-law all work and so we were able to get really cheap pool side rooms. There were only a few people there and so we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Angel loves to swim! And so she was in heaven, swimming Wednesday night and a couple times on Thursday. Unfortunately the one thing I forgot was her swimming diaper. But we weren’t going to deprive her of swimming just because I forgot her swimming diaper. Even if it did cause her to have major backside issues.

At one point during the weekend Angel took my face in her hands, looked lovingly into my eyes and said, “Mama. I want M&M’s.”

Princess and Prankster drove 7 hours to spend Wednesday night and Thursday morning with us!  Even though Prankster had to leave Thursday morning for Wisconsin. Yes, we felt honored to have them with us!  They also played “1 – 2 – 3 weeeeee” with Caleb and he loved it!

All four of our kiddos were with us for Pat’s family’s Thanksgiving dinner on Friday night. It was great and something I never take for granted. And Angel picked out her outfit. It was a size 18 months and I could barely get it zipped – but she’s still a little dolly.

I paid Princess to go shopping at 5:00 am on Black Friday. I realized after she came back without being able to acquire anything on my list except 2 scarves for me that my payment should have been based on what she was able to get for me.

I have a friend who has two babies. She also has a brother and a mom and sister-in-law that work at a hotel. This friend stayed at the hotel on Wednesday and Thursday night. There was no one else in the hotel and so everything was pretty much shut down early Wednesday night.  This friend and her family, including the babies found themselves in the bar (that was closed) on Wednesday night. Her sister-in-law had made a big batch of amazing popcorn – seriously the best popcorn my friend has ever eaten in her life. They also ate cherries and olives and drank Coke-a-colas and watched cartoons on the Sprout channel.  It was probably the highlight of our weekend. I mean my friend’s weekend.

We had Pat’s family over for supper on Friday night. We didn’t get home from my parent’s until about noon and I was supposed to work until 4:00. Pat was going to watch the kids, clean the house and cook for our supper. Yes, he is amazing. But he’s not that amazing. Thankfully I was given the ok to work Saturday instead of Friday and was able to stay home and help. Pat was being all possessive on me though and wouldn’t let me help much in the kitchen. Doesn’t he realize it is MY kitchen? And that I feel like a complete failure when I’m not allowed to help? Yes, I know I have issues.

Well anyway by the time 3:00 rolled around the house was somewhat clean, the kids were napping, the table was set and everything ready to go – well except for the food that Pat wouldn’t let me touch. And so I went shopping. I was pretty much unsuccessful because everything I wanted was of course sold out by then. But I did find a few good buys and have a nice hour of me time. And yes that me time did include popcorn and slushy from Target.

Saturday and Sunday we did pretty much nothing. Well if you consider playing with the kids, cleaning and napping nothing. Recently I’ve come to realize that that is not nothing. It’s awesome. Well the playing with kids and napping part.

OK, if you happen to be walking around the Routeburn track in New Zealand you might want to ignore some of the signs. Hmm, some prankster has been having a lend, by making bogus signs which look identical to the Department of Conservation ones. Only difference is you don’t need heavy duty tramping nappies to walk the tracks, nor “if you fuck up, it’s your fault”. One sign directs people to a public toilet up a steep rock face. The fake signs have been mysteriously appearing for months and despite the department seeing the funny side of the prank they are concerned foreign tourist may misinterpret them and get themselves some heavy duty nappies!

A Rancho Penasquitos man is pretty peeved that someone post-it noted his daughters car with nasty words like “pig”, “oink” and “Jesus loves you”.The man, who doesn’t want to be named, is Jewish and thinks it is a hate crime and not just some prankster. Some of the other notes posted on the car read “secret admirer” and “pigs are cool and so are you”. Geez, mixed messages or what? Altogether the notes spelled out Have fun. Hmm, I am inclined to think dumbassed prankster because if it was a hate crime they would have simply used a friggin key and scratched it into the ducco.

Thursday.

Around 10am, an unexpected client connect in our site, then ask for help. //not really a help// His problem is that his “Porn is Broken” //I didn’t get it!// So I did my spiel and some probing questions. And finds out that this client named Bob is making his late “Trick or Treat” joke. **eyebrows raised!** He reply with my questions with his silly questions too.

9:34 AM bob: are you a robot?
9:35 AM bob: what color is the sky?
9:36 AM bob: and grass?
9:38 AM bob: you are a robot
9:38 AM bob: also the ball came out off my mouse and i cant put it back in
9:38 AM bob: can you fix that

9:44 AM bob: and if a puppy or a new processor where to fall of a building which one would you save?
9:46 AM bob: Are you or have you ever been involved with skynet?

After chatting to him and wasting my time, I politely says my closing spiel and advise him that I’ll disconnect //the stupid session// our session. I just for another minute in case he’ll response seriously, but like what I assume, he’s just another “Treat or Tricker!”

We had a jam packed weekend, most of which involved celebrating Angel’s 2nd birthday.

I already shared that Princess came home for the weekend – surprising us! That was Thursday night and so we all had fun hanging out and playing together.

This is obviously not Princess, but Prankster.

Pat and I had taken Friday off and the kids slept in until 8:30 am. It was amazing to sleep in that long. We were up and at ‘em soon after that though because we had family pictures at 11:15 am and still had to do baths and all that fun stuff.  Our family pictures were at JC Penny and they turned out pretty good. I guess my only complaint is that there weren’t that many to pick from. But we still got a few nice ones.

After pictures we went home and the kids crashed for a few hours. I think I cleaned the house or did something productive. Can’t really remember right now!  We always go out to eat for birthdays and of course we had to do the same for Angel! So we went to Pizza Ranch where they have an arcade/game place. Not only did we stuff ourselves with good food but also played some fun games.  Angel (with mommy and daddy’s help) won 250 tickets and was able to get a Dora ball!

Saturday was Angel’s actual birthday. She was up bright and early and the first thing we did to celebrate was go out for donuts.   We decided to get groceries right after that. Not sure what the problem was but she pretty much had meltdown after meltdown. Pat sure did enjoy this little grocery trip. I think it was his first time experiencing the multiple meltdowns of Angel out in public!

After grocery shopping we went home and thankfully the kids crashed. Again. Saturday night we had supper at home and of course had to have birthday cake. Even though Angel’s party wasn’t until Sunday we couldn’t let her actual birthday pass without birthday cake.

Caleb enjoyed it too!

Her party on Sunday was at the Butterfly House. She was very overwhelmed by all the attention. I don’t think she smiled or said one word the whole time. She did give everyone hugs after she opened her presents. And then we walked through the Butterfly display and she finally came alive. She loves her butterflies.

Even though it was crazy busy and sometimes stressful we had a fabulous weekend celebrating our baby girl’s birthday. And for the third time, Angel crashed!

From MAC’s Magic, Mirth, and Mischief holiday 2009 collection is the Devil May Dare eyeshadow palette ($36). This collection of 6 new, exclusive shadows was described as “warm” on MAC’s website, and therefore, I never considered trying it (I’m a cool). But when a MAC artist applied it to my eyes, the effect was stunning.

The combinations within this palette are endless. At first, I tried a smoky eye with Oh My Darling, Sorcery, and Devilishly Dark (a shimmery plum). It was amazing. For work, I experimented with a layer of Oh My Darling all along the browbone and lid, with Prankster (shimmery earthy green) in the crease and Dare Ya (metallic pink) in the inner corners. The Prankster and Gold Tease also complement each other and can be daytime appropriate, or layered for evening drama.

Warm, cool, or anywhere in between, you can wear these colors!

At $36, the price is certainly right. This palette will last you quite a long time, provides an endless combination of looks, and can be worn long after the holiday season has come and gone.

1. I always want to start 7 Quick Takes Friday by saying, “It’s Friday!”. But isn’t that obvious? Anyway.

Tomorrow is Angel’s 2nd birthday! I was able to take today off to spend it with my baby girl and Pat surprised me and took the day off too! We don’t have alot planned other than family pictures at 11:30. It wasn’t going to be family pictures just some shots of the babies but we figured since we’re there we might as well get a family picture too. I’m a little stressed about it because last time we went there (JC Penny) they turned out really crummy. Unfortunately they are very cheap and so we’ll have to make do and I’ll just pray the babies are super happy. It’s looking good though because as I write this both babies (and Daddy) are sleeping!

2. I was also bummed about taking a family picture because Princess wasn’t able to come home this weekend.  Well guess who came waltzing in the door last night:

Princess and Prankster!  What a wonderful surprise. They are here for the whole weekend and I’m so excited they were able to come. Angel’s birthday wouldn’t have been the same without them.

Princess is feeling alot better. She still has a long road of healing – probably the hardest part is the up and down of Mono. One day she feels amazing and then the next day she’s hit hard again. Thanks for your continued prayers!

3. We aren’t doing a whole lot for Angel’s party. She loves butterflies and so we are having her party at The Butterfly House. It’s a neat little place that has…yes, you guessed it… butterflies! But there are also a few other rooms with other animal displays and a play room. The butterflies are so tame they usually land on you. Which is very creepy but Angel loves it. This was at the butterfly house last year (sorry bad picture):

We’re keeping it simple. Invited just family and a few close friends. We’ll have cake and ice cream, open presents and then go on a tour of the butterfly house.  Angel is very excited though. She’s been counting down the days and also reminds us multiple times a day that she is going to have birthday cake. Pat better come through for us ~ he’s convinced me that he wants to make Angel’s butterfly cake.

4. We had a close call last night.

For the past four nights Angel has been waking up at 3:00-3:30 am wide awake wanting to read her books or play. The good thing is that she will usually stay in her bed and just cry for us. She doesn’t get out of her bed.

Last night we decided to let her “cry it out” a little. She doesn’t really cry too hard, just kind whines and whimpers. She started that at 3:30 am. I waited probably just 5 minutes and she went back to sleep. Or so I thought.

At 5:30 am I heard her crying again. I decided to just go get her and put her in bed with us. When I opened her bedroom door it was about 150 degrees in her room. Turns out she had gotten out of bed, turned up her space heater and for some reason moved her little chair right next to the heater. This is what I saw when I went in there:

The chair was very very hot. And it seriously felt like a sauna it was so hot in her room. It makes me sick to my stomach to think of what could have happened. If she would have put one of her plastic toys next to the heater it surely would have started on fire.  Thank you Jesus for protecting our baby girl – and the rest of us!

And I guess it’s probably time to eliminate her morning nap. Not sure if that’s why she feels the need to get up in the middle of the night or not. And we definitely need to come up with an alternative to the space heater!  And I will probably never let her “cry it out” again!

5. I was writing a devotion the other day for our youth group blog and I was trying to find the scripture that says we need to be in the world but not of it.

Do you realize there is no scripture that says that? At least I couldn’t find it. I looked up every single scripture with the word “world” in it. There are many verse that imply that – to be in the world but not of it – but I always thought that was an actual Bible verse.

If there is a verse with those actual words let me know!

6. Angel does not like chocolate. No really, she doesn’t. And I also did not let her have four Dove chocolates right before bedtime.

And she does not lock herself in the bathroom with the light off. Because that would really annoy her mommy and she’d never do that.

Did I mention that she does not love chocolate. She also doesn’t love our friend (and one of her babysitters) Gloria. Really, she doesn’t.

7. Because I can’t get enough ~ here’s my little man earlier this morning as we played together in our jammies (because I have today off!).

OK, here’s the thing Illinois lady who found a cryptic note in an antique rocking chair supposedly leading to a chest of gold. The dude that wrote it some 30 years ago, Chauncy Wolcott (aka John “Jay” Slaven) was a prolific prankster, so spending your time back-hoeing the shit out of a vacant block of land is pretty much a big friggin waste of time, except if you like bricks and old bottles .Patty Henken bought a rickety old chair at auction and while she was prying off the seat she found an envelope with the words “Finders Keepers” written on it. Inside the envelope she found a note, instructions and a key (to open the treasure chest).Well wouldn’t you know she took it seriously and got permission to dig up a property in search of the buried treasure. Unfortunately a woman who knew the prankster notified a newspaper bursting Ms Henken’s bubble! The bastard was having a lend beyond the grave. How cool, I am definitely going to do that when I am old.

Psst What a total mind f***, if she stops looking the “what if?” will forever haunt her and if she continues looking and finds nothing she’ll question whether the clues were right!

I guess I’ll just come out and say it:

I’m a prankster. I know to most of you this is a REAL SHOCK…..or probably not.

I like to have fun. I enjoy (as some as you may have read) to make people uncomfortable and awkward. I fill the role of jokester or court jester well. It once took a lot to get me to open up and be talkative around new people, and that has for the most part changed. I’m very friendly and at points can be very outgoing. Of course a good 40% of that time I’m just pulling the leg of whomever it is I’ve just met. Much to my wife’s dismay (sometimes) I enjoy introducing myself as Jacob to people I’ve just met. This is something I really enjoy and pride myself in. Two instances that stand out are the fiancé incident and the neighbor one.

The fiancé incident took place in Columbus whilst visiting Linzi for one of her famous bashes. I showed up and introduced myself to everyone as Jacob, Linzi’s fiancé. Yes my wife was there (we were together though not married yet) and she actually enjoyed it. I succeeded in confusing more than one person.

The other took place in our apartment building. While at a neighbor’s party I again introduced myself as Jacob, and it stuck. To this day there is a dude in our building that thinks my name is Jacob.

You should try it. Hell Jacob even has a pair of eye glasses he wears. He’s developed quite a personality. One thing is for sure he’s a lot friendlier than I am. Wait, what? Anyways some of my other forms of amusement are as follows. I’ve been known to ask for someone wearing a jersey for their autograph. For instance (dude is wearing a Lebron James jersey) I’d go up to him and say “oh my god Lebron can I get your autograph? It can be quite fun.

One time at work with a new coworker I convinced him that aisle 3 was haunted. He was very afraid to go into that aisle.

Another famous gem involves my wife, Linzi and a sweaty kiwi. Get your mind out of the gutter I mean Duncan Oughton who is from New Zealand and plays for the Columbus Crew. We had been at a match between Columbus and The U of Akron. Afterwards as the wife and Linzi walked ahead of me I saw him limping out of the field. I struck up a conversation with him. After wishing him well went back to my group. My wife saw him as he passed and said “Oh he’s cute.” So I go over towards him and say “My wife thinks your cute and says you’re her new crew boyfriend.” He turns and looks as the wife tries to flee and Linzi throws her hands up and says “I’m not the wife.” Classic. Well, he’s a cool fellow and jokes with us when my wife yells “we’re divorced.” He says “so you’re available then?” Cue their swooning because of his fun response and of course his accent. My wife was fuming but also thought it was funny. I mean you think we’d be together for 12 years if she didn’t enjoy my strange brand of humor?

The women at work thought it was mean and threatened to hit me if I was their husband. This sparked the continual telling her that they feel sorry for her and that it must be horrible to be married to me. I’m just a harmless little jokester. For the most part I put my little green and red jester suit for her entertainment. Okay I don’t put on a jester suit but I do often wear various animal noses. I do this for her. I’d jump through hoops, fall on tacks, get hit with a pie to the face, or creep out my boss to make her laugh. I love nothing more than seeing her smile and making her laugh. It really doesn’t take much. Linzi, kat and I are pretty easily amused. Proof?

How about me as Hannah Montana?

I’m going to try and pull off an idea from long ago when I decided to make profiles of all the people that were hanging out in my circle of friends. Back then, many of the descriptions were less than flattering and overall the whole thing was subjective and flawed in so many ways, so I scrapped ever releasing it on the Internet.

This time I’m starting fresh, and each person I describe will be lovingly portrayed with nothing but the best of intentions in an effort to share all that is great about them with the world. This is a celebration of positivity and a tribute to the people I meet on the road. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I do writing them.

Our first legend is “Dead On” Kaptain Randy Turley. More simply known as just Randy, this man is one of the most amazing characters you will ever meet. His prime focus in life is to hit the open road on adventures around the country, and do so in impossibly old vehicles that have a high probability of breaking down. In the case that anything quits working on the vehicle, Randy will usually fix the problem within a small period of time under great duress, using basic tools from his famous toolbox. To someone who doesn’t know him, it can be more simply stated that he is a McGyver of automobiles. Originally from Oklahoma, he ended up in California during the early 70’s and became owner and driver of the infamous “Dead On” bus (as well as many others). He brought passengers along on many Grateful Dead tours from the 70’s-90’s. He has also driven the Prankster’s new Further bus, and has been a great friend to many a fellow bus owner over the years, helping secure parts, perform repairs, lend rides, and generally bend over backwards to bail a brother or sister out.

I met Randy through our mutual friend Jesse Mosher (soon to be added to the Legends series), and had heard a lot about him from his close friend Scotty Don’t (also due up for a Legends entry), who had borrowed one of Randy’s vehicles to help drive us on (my rock band) Strangefeather’s ‘08 Summer Tour. My first interaction with Randy was when we took the aforementioned vehicle (aptly named “Sky Beast”) on a road trip to play a couple of gigs in Phoenix, AZ. It was a precarious ‘84 4-cylinder Toyota with Chinook-style camper on the back, towing a crap-colored Datsun truck trailer behind with all our gear in it. I remember the tires kept exploding as we went down the road. Randy would usually find a throwaway tire at a gas station, pull the dead tire off the rim, and remount it with the “new” one in about 30 minutes, using a jack, tire iron and screwdriver. He drove us about 12 hours straight from Phoenix to SF before finally handing over the wheel to someone else so that I could get to work on time at 8am the next morning. He was splashing himself in the face with water to try and stay awake towards the end there.

The next adventure Randy signed on for was Strangefeather’s two-month US Spring ‘09 “Get on the Bus Tour” that covered 30 states and 50 gigs in about 60 days. This time, he broke out the Sunchaser, a 1964 International Harvester school bus, painted white w/ blue trim, complete with 2 beds and PanAm airline seats from the 70’s, reupholstered in 80’s neon orange, green and black. This experience was life-changing on so many levels, and Randy was there for almost all of it (more on that in a little bit). He drove us from New Orleans to New York without power steering. Most memorable moments were when we going through a snowstorm in Arizona (yes, I said snow), and the engine shut off coming around a corner and I woke up to the bus skidding around a tight corner with the power steering gone. Randy remained cool through it all (he is unflappable). I also remember it took us 4 hours to get from the Holland Tunnel to downtown Manhattan in a rainstorm. Randy had his CB radio hooked up to a loudspeaker on the outside of the bus. He was navigating downtown New York with only one windshield wiper and no power steering, and he kept telling people on the street to watch out or they would get hit!

This same tour coincided with the Dead tour that Spring, and we stopped in the parking lots at most of their shows and played in front of the bus down by Shakedown Street using generators. Randy was there for all of them except for one, the famed show at the Gorge in Washington. He usually got miracled into the Dead’s performances, and would take riders from show to show for a little gas money, and he would almost always be there when Strangefeather played a set on the tour. He left the band under Scotty Dont’s supervision once we reached Denver in order to attend the anniversary party of the Acid Test in San Francisco with the Merry Pranksters. After that he followed the Further bus up all the way to Grants Pass, OR, with plans to meet up with Strangefeather at the Gorge. Instead, the Further bus blew an engine and he stayed behind in Grants Pass to help them install a new one. He missed the Gorge show altogether and it turned out to be the best show of our tour! I know he was superbly bummed by this, but Randy is the kind of friend who will stick by you no matter what – it is a very endearing quality that is rare to find in this day and age to be sure.

I just got back from another Summer tour through the Pacific Northwest, and we had a great time. It’s complicated, but Strangefeather broke apart the day before the tour, and Randy was the one who suggested I go on the road and play the shows anyway, and I’m glad I did. As soon as he pulled up in his giant Ford Centurion, rusted and falling apart with doors that didn’t lock and a hood that didn’t go down all the way, I felt like everything was going to be alright. When we ran out of gas in the middle of a busy intersection in Eugene, I watched as he pulled out his can of “ether” and popped open the hood, sprayed a little on the starter, switched over to the backup tank and got the truck rolling again in under 2 minutes without barely blocking traffic. All I could do was laugh and smile, because I know Randy is made for those kinds of situations, and everything was going to be just fine.

Randy is filled with nothing but generosity, empathy, kindness, and wisdom from years of experience driving trucks and buses for employment and fun. I have never seen him be anything but gentle and thoughtful towards all of the people that he meets. His spirit is very young, and his excitement for life without material comforts is both inspiring and respectful. He is usually covered in oil and grease (a by-product of being such a great mechanic), and he dresses very simply and practical. I joked with him the other day that he looks better dirty than clean, and it’s really true – he is the Real Deal. Randy represents the type of man that we see less of and need more of in this country, a dying breed if you will. He is hardworking, free-spirited, poetic, and completely down to earth. I have learned so much about how to live and treat other just by watching and conversing with him. Some might call him a Deadhead, and he is closer to what a true Grateful Dead fan is really like than what most people think of when using that term, but I hope my tribute enforces the fact that he is so much more than just a Deadhead. Others might call him a Pranskter, but that is not completely true, either. Randy is first and foremost a “Kaptain” in every sense of the word, and when he gets behind the wheel I cannot think of a more comforting and ensuring feeling in my life. When you step into one of his rides, you will enter a machine that preserves the spirit of the open road, opening possibilities to a life that most people only read about in books. Randy Turley is a legend because he has revealed a most simple equation to live by:

Velocity + Uncertainty = Freedom!

So not funny!

An elderly man became the unwitting victim of a public toilet prank in Cairns over the weekend. The poor 70 year old had no idea when he sat down on the toilet seat some prankster had placed quick drying glue all over it. When he tried to get up he realized he was stuck well and good to it!. To add insult to injury rescuers were unable to remove the seat from his butt and he had to be escorted through the gathering crowd with it still attached. Hospital staff were eventually able to remove the seat after dosing it with industrial-strength solvents but not his embarrassment.

Prankster came over the other day and told us that he was head over heels madly in love with our daughter.

And then Pat electrocuted him.

Hee hee.  Actually what happened is the other night Princess informed us that Prankster was going to come over and she was going to straighten his hair.

Um, why?

No particular reason.

Um, ok.

Of course Prankster should know by now that everything that happens in this house (and outside the house for that matter) may be used for blog material. And the only way to prevent pictures from appearing on this blog is to give me a bag of Dove chocolate. Too bad for Prankster he’s out of town this week.

Hace ya un tiempo que vengo siguiendo a este frances. No se si es porque sus videos son muy creativos, o porque me intriga su total caradurez. Pense que era imposible carecer de vergüenza, o sea, al menos un poco de vergüenza uno tiene que tener. Pero me tope con este especimen. Increible. Asi es que, cada vez que necesito reir o largar una carcajada, recurro a sus videos.

Somebody said I’m beautiful. However, the person who said this (or rather, texted me the message) was a guy who is kinda suspicious. In the first place, he knows me and I don’t know him.

It sounds very fishy. I’m leaning towards a prank, pulled off by one of my crazy classmates. I have lots. Or if he’s not, the guy could be a potential stalker.

My instincts tell me to put up a defense. It always does. 

But… it was very flattering. Few people outside my immediate family tell me I’m beautiful. Not that I’m ugly. I am not, thank God. But I’m not drop dead gorgeous either. Sometimes, I wish I were.

But… I love the way I look. Simple beyond words. And my beauty is not of the obvious kind. And in a world where the standards for beauty is set by the flawlessness of one’s skin, the sheen of one’s hair, the perfect nose, the figure of one’s body, height, and etcetera, I fall far behind.

So… whoever you are. Thank you for telling me that I’m beautiful. Even if you are a stalker. Or a prankster.

This is Remi Gaillard, who according to Wikipedia is a French Prankster. What an awesome job. Seems like he does similar stuff to Jackass, but actually funny. Aso, Thunderstruck by AC/DC would make watching paint dry seem exciting.

Princess’s graduation party was a huge success! It was a great blessing to be able to share the responsiblities with Princess’s mom. She did all of the food, except the desserts, and so we just had to worry about getting the house ready for all the guests. We made a great team!

We had lots of pictures of Princess. And she displayed her obsession Zebra collection which turned out really cute.

And no, you aren’t imagining the next pictures. We hung up all of her artwork on the walls in our living room and dining room. It turned out so nice and allowed people to see alot of her artwork.

We had amazing food. Walking tacos, three kinds of salads, mini-desserts, punch and coffee.

It’s kinda hard to see in this picture but Princess’s mom rented a huge tent that we put up out back. Hubby finished the deck beautifully and so people were able to enjoy the nice weather outside. And that also meant the house didn’t get so crowded!

Princess and Prankster

We were blessed with many friends and family that were able to come say congrats to Princess. We were blessed with beautiful weather. And we even had leftover food to enjoy for a few days.

It was a great day!

And the tears wouldn’t come until the next day when Princess would officially graduate from high school.
