I want to thank Jesus for being who He is. God!!  I know him today to be a keeper. I knew before, but God has a way of showing things that you have never seen in him before. For three hours our porch was on fire and nothing not the smoke or the fire entered into the house.  The kitchen is right by the back porch and there is not even smoke on the walls. Glory to God.  Only God is able to keep you and me like that. When we walked out of the house that is when the smoke began to fill the house and glass began to break. Think about that, the very small back porch was on fire for three hours. I was on the couch sleep and smelled nothing. I woke up about 12:15 and went up to my bed room and went back to sleep, never smelled smoke or seen fire. I woke up at 2:45 to the smell of faint smoke but did’nt think nothing of it. I went into the hallway and seen nothing so I layed back down.

Then I heard my sister wake up and go down the stairs, she came back up and said we have a fire we got up and went outside. The fire just stayed contained to the back porch. She immediately called 911 and about 15 minutes later fire trucks and E.M.S. was there. They put it out found out what it was and fanned out the house. Another family member had taken the ashes that was inside of the grill, “ashes” I seen them for my self. she placed it in a box and put on the back porch. They left at about 4 to go take my grandfather some dinner at the nursing home and then to take my mother and sister home.  I watched a movie, took a small nap and never smelled anything.. My sister came in went into the very kitchen to and smelled nothing. God is good and I know him today more than ever to be a keeper, and protector.  Our God is an awesome God.

The blood and it’s application is so very important. You need the blood of Jesus to wash and cleanse you but also to protect you from all hurt harm and danger. God is a shield for me my glory the lifter up of my head. Thank you for reading my story…You are blessed.

Regardless to our wrongs, attitudes, unpure thinking, and wicked hearts, while we were yet in our sins, God sent his son to die for us. Now that’s love. Before he came He had already purposed in his heart before the foundation of the world to be the lamb who would be slain to take away all of our sins. In his commandments he admonishes us to love our neighbors, in the new testament he tells us to love them, forgive over and over, to pray for others. What God is telling us is that just like he loved us and layed his life down for us, that like wise we should love those around us weither they treat us right or wrong unconditionally. Understanding that hurting people hurt people, God has allowed me to look past the act and at the hurt and pain of the persons heart. Not to take the things that people do to heart. We all should be thus minded. We are all sick, have been sick and if not for the grace of God would not receive healing that would deliver us from doing, being or acting the same way. And for some of us it is still a process that God wants us to embrace and let what we are going through have its perfect way in us to purge, polish and create in us who he has called us to be. So It is for us to love unconditional, not based off of how someone may look or act. Yes some of the stuff we see in people is unsettling most of the times, But if we would only take a real close look at ourselves we would see we need alittle more varnish too. Love your neighbor as your self, yes your enemies pray for them.

     Now you may be saying “I don’t trust nobody”, well guess what if you share what you are going through with somebody and they take your garbage somewhere else then that is there issue. Keep in mind that it will help somebody else. It can’t hurt you because God said no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against you in judgement shall be condemned. Don’t worry about what somebody might say about you, because the truth of the matter is that they are going through something worse than you and just trying to take the focus off of themselves. Pray for them!!  Get free my sister, my brother and obey the word of God……

     Allow God to take all of your broken peaces shattered in your heart and minister his love and restoration to you. You are healed, Jesus died for you to be. And God is not a man that he should lie, you are healed in the name of Jesus.  You may have some scars, but your healed, circumstances, your still healed, disappointment, you are healed. YOU ARE HEALED!!!!!!!

     So much do we want and pray for the forgiveness of Jesus, we repent and expect a speedy restoration of fellowship, and the bible tells us that if we confess our sins that Jesus is faithful and just to do just that. But it also tells us to forgive those who tresspass against us as our Father does for us. Don’t we realized that if we hold resentments and oughts against people who hurt us and are mean to us that we are standing right at the door of judgement. Yes it hurts and God knows that, he is not hiding his face from your pain. But I believe tha t God is asking us to get another perspective and try looking at the other person for a minute. They are hurting and in pain, remember hurting people hur people, healed people heal people. Pray for them that they are healed and delivered. We can be so selfish at times and only think about ourselves, but forgetting that we too we wreched and have hurt people down deep.

   Lets forgive others and lets forgive ourselves as well. We are not who we use to be and if you are then today is the day of salvation, repent and Jesus will come in and wash you from all unrighteousness. The past is over, today is a new day, deal with today. How do you feel, share it with the father in prayer. He is waiting to hear from you, he loves you with an everlasting love and wants to be close to you. Journaling is always good to talk about the real feelings that come up, give them to Jesus for he cares for you and how you hurt. He wants to heal you. Be encouraged and wait patiently for the Lord. Stand, and overcome your past.

It is power to live right, power to love right, power to walk and talk right. URGENCY OF THE HOUR…

The hour in which we live in is urgent.  We are all aware that darkness, injustice and lawlessness are increasing.  But at the same time there is a movement across the nations of the earth. The Holy Spirit is stirring the Body of Christ, His Bride, to seek His face and know Him. The Lord is building places of prayer and worship where the church can meet together enjoying the presence of our King.  We have chosen to join this collective cry that is rising up from all around the earth calling out to the Desire of the Nations (Haggai 2:6-8).  Our purpose is to meet with Him and edify each other in the context of prayer and worship.  We seek to agree with the heart of God and partner with His purposes throughout the earth. The place of prayer and worship helps to facilitate this. Come and join us as we call out to our only Hope, the only answer and solution for all of our needs and desires, and to this hour in which we live.

 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.” (2 Chronicles 7:13-16; NIV)

Let us return to our first love.  Lord awaken our hearts to the urgency of the hour, day and time in which we live in.  We don’t want to be sleeping and have offense in my heart toward you concerning the way that you move.  Make us one with your heart.  What are you thinking and feeling? Reveal yourself to us through the Power of your Holy Spirit. Forgive us for our forsaking of you. Forgive us for turning to other things outside of you.  Heal us, restore us, make us new.

Who we are

Tri-HOP is an interdenominational group of believers that seeks to establish a 24/7 worship and intercession network between churches in the tri-cities. Ultimately this will be achieved through having a central meeting place that will serve as the missions base where the prayer room and offices will be located.  Presently we are desiring to do worship and intercession sets in the Tri-City area and praying for the Lord to open doors for us.

The Vision:

To be a 24/7 house of prayer, providing a common meeting place for the body of Christ to gather together.  That we would cry out as one, partnering with Jesus’ plans and purposes to come forth on the earth. From the place of prayer and worship we will encourage ACTION, to partner in service with other ministries reaching out into the community.

The Purpose:

TRI-HOP is a call to believers in the tri-cities to awaken to the soberness of the hour we live in, to band together in worship and prayer coupled with works of justice and service in our community.  We are not forming another church or desire to take the place of local churches but to provide a place for every denomination to meet together for one purpose-JESUS.    We are here firstly to love the Lord our God and live for Him in wholehearted abandon, secondly to serve the body of Christ by facilitating united worship and prayer as well as working with ministries and forming a network between churches in the tri-cities area. Lastly, but not the least insignificant, we are to reach out into the world around us with the love of Christ being His light in the darkness.

The CALL:

We are believing that the Lord will build HIS house.  Currently we are calling on all people in the Tri-Cities (Saginaw, Bay City, Midland; MICHIGAN) region who are passionate for Jesus to unite seeking Him in prayer and intercession till this place is made physical.

When i first came to Christ my mind and way of thinking was totally messed up. I had a negative way thinking. I thought wrong about people, talked about people, was intimidated and scared of people. I was in need of a healing in my mind. This scripture came to life for me the more I read it, meditated on it, heard sermons on it and the like. My mind was a total place of fear, worry, and confusion. But thank God for Jesus who came and died to free me mentally. I thought crazy and insane thoughts; and thought that I was crazy at times. I was defeated in my mind, and wondered why I couldn’t live a victorious life as a christian. Because my mind was not renewed. Renewed how? In the word of God that would wash my mind and give me a different perspective on how I viewed myself and those around me. When I began to pray and read my word and walk in obedience, little by little God began to give me back my mind. He began to heal my pain in the soul; my thoughts of how I was’nt special, unimportant, and ugly. I was told that so much by the children around me as a child til I grew up believing that I was very ugly and nobody really would ever want me. But God. I had to be transformed in my mind and alot of it was me becoming willing to do something about my state. I had to pray, trust God and begin to believe what I was reading in God’s word concerning me. I had to read those scriptures that told me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, that I am a new creations. I had to begin to believe and conform my mind to the words that spoke, life and prosperity to my spirit. As I did my part in saying daily affirmations, and prayer God begin to heal me in areas of my mind that I thought was o.k. I had to face somethings about myself and begin to ask God to heal the pain in my mind that associated with my past.

I know that this is no different for you. God is a healer of the mind, and soul. But we must allow God to show us somethings about us, and deliver us from that so that we can then reach out and help or sister who is still suffering.

He That Warreth: The Restoration of the Office and Ministry of the Intercessor

The Elijah Movement: Intercessory Prayer Campaign

Purpose:

The purpose of the Elijah Movement Intercessory Prayer Movement is to assemble and unify all Intercessors in the Cities of America, under the common spirit of repentance and reconciliation, to usher in a breakthrough and outpouring of repentance, salvation, healing and deliverance in your city and the surrounding areas.

 We are coming together, crossing denominational, cultural and ethnic barriers, to do warfare for the restoration of this city as a territory of the Kingdom of God. We are organizing the Intercessory gifts to bind up every principality, power, dominion, throne, ruler of the darkness of this eroding world and spiritual wickedness in high places; to release a wave of healing and deliverance in America.

 We are a “tallit” covering over the Churches, Ministries, outreaches, leaderships, and people of God in America, as well as a hedge for City officials and governments. We have been assigned in this hour as the Watchmen on the Wall. 

 We are watching over the revelatory Word of God that has been assigned to this city, and the unfolding of prophetic events in relation to the Body of Christ in America and surrounding areas.

The Inspiration:

We have as revelation and hearing that every city has an assigned purpose; that metropolitan areas serve as central hubs for the region. 

We have as revelation and hearing that over a period of time when prayer has lapsed and intercession has stagnated and ceased in a city, the Word (mandate) for a city becomes vulnerable to corruption and suffers a decline in effectiveness and power.

At this point the god of this world, Satan, then takes as territory that city and the souls in it hostage for his purpose and the perpetuation of the antichristian culture. The city begins its progressive decline, both socially and spiritually, becoming bound in the culture of violence, addictions, lusts, unemployment, hunger, homelessness, brokenness, incarceration rise-an aggressive plummet in the condition and state of the communities of that city.

 We have as revelation and hearing that the spirits of witchcraft, divination, confusion, hypocrisy, idolatry and every other form of spiritual oppression runs rampant, creating an atmosphere of desperation, depression, hopelessness, brokenness and death.

 We have as revelation and hearing that when this condition has run its course, there is an inner outcry of the people in a need for liberty and freedom which reaches the ear of God. It is then that God prepares to restore the Word and move on the behalf of those who are crying out to Him. He calls back into activation the office and ministry of the Intercessor and the Prophet first as a frontline defense, paving the way for the complete and ultimate restoration of the that city and the people of God in it. 

 The Word of Breakthrough and Outpour comes through the mouth of the Prophets, guarded and watched over by the Priesthood (Intercessors)-that the mandate for the Body of Christ in that city be fulfilled.

We have as revelation and hearing that there may be some minor breakthroughs by way of individual ministries and their intercession ministries, but a city wide, corporate move of God is initiated by a corporate anointing and a move of the offices in that city.

The Elijah Movement is an answer to the call of repentance, sanctify, Intercede, reformation, outpour, revival, and harvest. We are set for the Will of God to be manifested in America and the surrounding areas, by way of forceful invasion of the gospel of the Kingdom of God; we stand in battle array to reclaim the city as a lawful and eminent territory of the Kingdom of God.

Spheres of Jurisdiction:

REPENTANCE. Every move of God in the Body of Christ, and operation in a city, is preceded by a sweeping spirit and call to repentance. As the priesthood, when God is ready to send a Word into the earth for the Body of Christ, He begins to activate and intensify the office of the Intercessor. As the priesthood of ancient had to “clean up” before entering in their course, so the Intercessors are called first to repentance and sanctification; along with a heightened sense of expectancy.

SANCTIFICATION. Once the call to repentance is addressed, the Intercessors will move to sanctify the office and prepare for the manifestation of the Word through the mouth of the Prophet. They will begin to consecrate, in fasting and prayer, in addition to a search of the Word of God. They begin to ready the people and stir up the expectancy of the Body.

INTERCEDE. This is the time when the intercession groups have an increase in activity, for the Word is then moving into the earth with signs and confirmations, and the office of the Intercessor is watching and guarding the revealed Word.

REFORMATION. Intercession then shift to the lining up with the fresh Word established in the earth. They begin to pray the strategic positioning of the Body in line with the Prophetic Word.

OUTPOUR. We pray for the perpetuation and the reception of the Outpour. This is the Move of God in the process of reviving the Body for ministry.

REVIVAL. We pray for the success of the Revival to breakthrough and deliver the city. We strategically move in on the territory of the enemy and pray for hostage rescue (salvation of the lost).

HARVEST. The fruit of the labor. When we receive the result of the Word and Ministry of the Body.

The Prophetic Vista of our Cities:

Ten years ago, a fresh Word was placed in the earth that increased the knowledge and revelation of the written Word of God, which propelled the Body of Christ into a position of prominence in the earth. Many ministries and congregations received the Word and were brought out of mediocrity into an explosion of wealth and membership growth; they went from mere storefront churches into mega-ministries with stadium packed churches, and coffers filled with wealth. According to databases that track mega churches in the United States there are 16 mega churches in Kings County out of the 40 in the State of Washington; Seattle is the seat (throne) of Kings County.

Whenever there is an increase in the knowledge and revelation of the written Word of God, there also has to be an increase of Intercession to cover and guard that Word. Intercessors watch over and guard the Word placed in the earth by the Godhead, through the mouth and proclamation of the Prophets, employed by the Apostles, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.

The enemy knowing this, began to tempt many of the leaders who received that Word, they became rich, but neglected the intense establishment of the Office and Ministry of Intercession. This created a breach in the gates, in which the enemy crept into the pulpits of America, and corrupted the Word in the implementation. 

This is how the spirit of competition rose and partitions were erected that further separated the Body, and the Enemy had free reign of the communities, as well as the Churches. The watchmen either were sleeping, or were denied their ministry in the churches. This has birthed an atmosphere that we see prevalent in the city right now.

There is a spiritual warfare in which a “dominion” (territorial spirit) was assigned to the seat of every County and major metropolitan City in America. It is producing massive amounts of witchcraft, rebellion, and perversion in the city. It has been here since the breach 8 years ago. The dominion was ushered in by the rise of false prophets that were sent to redirect the move of the local Body; in other words they were sent to alter the course and Word (assignment) of the Body of Christ in America.

Without effective and consistent intercession, many of the Intercessors became either frustrated or became negligent of their course, and the Body suffered a great wound in this city; corrupted leaders, powerless services and worship, church closings and massive youth exoduses from the Body. The communities became callous to the Church, feeling alienated and forgotten. The outreaches suffered for there was no covering to take them into the necessary resources to continue operating at full peak or operating at all.

God has begun calling the Intercessors into a repentance and sanctification, that they may resume operation again at Kingdom level. The Elijah Movement is a warfare-based, prophetic and apostolic Intercessory unit that has formed for the specific purpose of breaking the stronghold of the territorial dominion of the kingdom of darkness of your City.

Priorities:

The primary objective of the Elijah Movement is to cover and intercede on behalf of the Body of Christ and the cities of America. We will then mobilize Intercessor workshops to train and develop Intercessors in Spiritual warfare and the Ministry of Intercession. We will host seminars to promote the office of the intercessor so that the Ministries can become more informed on how the ministry relates to the overall vision and movement of the ministry it is assigned to. We will also come and plant Intercessory groups in neighborhoods and cities as a means of covering that area.

We will meet every week to pray and discuss what the Kingdom of God is translating to the earth realm. We will build, empower and cover the Intercessors as they travel to their local Ministries and cover them.

We will have a blog and website associated with the Intercessory Prayer Movement, as well as a newsletter.

We are not attempting to thwart the local Intercessory Ministries of the local church, but we are strengthening it by corporately assembling to release a corporate and wide-ranged geographical covering.

We have published a book entitled, He That Warreth: The Restoration of the Office and Ministry of the Intercessor. We are asking the Body of Christ to assist us in pushing this NOW WORD into the areas where they reside, that it may propel the Will of God(in this hour) into the earth.

Satan was like “a strong man.” Yet Jesus claimed to be much stronger. He claimed to defeat Satan, and to take whatever He wanted from Satan (Matthew 12:22-29). How did Jesus prove this claim? By publicly defeating the forces of Satan! He could do this because “demons” – the evil spirits who serve Satan – were working in a very bold and open way. (Compared with the Old Testament, the New Testament shows much more visible activity from the demons.) Demons even forced themselves into some people. They caused much harm to those in whom they lived.

On the eastern side of Lake Galilee there is a place of caves and graves. There, Jesus met a man. “many” evil spirits lived in him. He kept crying out and cutting his naked body. The demons in him recognized and feared Jesus. They made the man shout,

What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You,don’t torture me!” Jesus now ask the evil spirit what is your name the evil sprit said Legion (Luke 8:28). Jesus ordered the demons to come out of the man. The demons obeyed at once. The local people were amazed when they saw the man “sitting at Jesus’ feet, dressed and in his right mind” (Luke 8:35). Jesus met many others who had demons. He always had mercy on them. He always healed them and forced the spirits to leave them.

All the people were amazed and said to each other, “What is this teaching? With authority and power He gives orders to evil spirits and they come out!” (Luke 4:36). Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with Him (Acts 10:38). Jesus shared with His followers the power to defeat Satan. He proved this by giving to those with Him power for miracles and casting out demons (Matthew 10:1; Luke 10:19; Mark 16:17). They too had the same success. (The disciples had only one failure, as recorded in Matthew 17:14-21. That was because of their own lack of faith. After that lesson, every other attempt at working miracles was successful.) When seventy disciples came back from their preaching journeys, they joyfully said to Jesus,

Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.’ He replied, ‘I saw

Satan fall like lightning from heaven’” (Luke 10:17-18).

Now no force can control God’s people against their will. Nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:38-39). Christians continue to win their struggles against “the powers of this dark world.” They do this by using the mighty strength of Jesus.

Confession – The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. (Psalm 27:1-3).

MY BELOVED : Make this power confession:

Before you continue. I announce that greater is the One that is in me than any devil on the side of my enemies. It is written, The righteous is as bold as a lion. By my faith in Christ Jesus, I am righteous. I receive my divine boldness. The angels of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him. The angels of God are with me, I have no basis to fear any man, any evil, any evil spirit. Because the Lord of hosts is with me, I take my confidence in Him. It is written If God be for us who can be against us? God is with me, I have no enough reason to fear, in the name of Jesus. It is written, The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life of whom shall I be afraid? Though a host of demons encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war rises against me, even in this I shall be confident. The Lord is with me like a mighty terrible one. I am not afraid. I cannot be threatened. My persecutors shall stumble and fumble. Their everlasting confusion and disgrace shall never be forgotten. God has commanded me to fear not. Of the 366 days in a year, no single day is allowed for me to fear. So, I refuse to be afraid of anything. You spirit of fear, you are not in God’s agenda for me. I dismiss you from my life now, in the name of Jesus. Jesus said even the very hairs of my head are not only counted but numbered. Not one single strand can be removed without God’s knowledge and permission. Therefore, I put my confidence in the Lord, Who takes so such care of me.

12. Let the finger of God begin to work against all the Egyptians and Pharoah’ s of my life.

13. Bring me into favour with all those that will decide in my advancement.

14. Cause divine substitution to happen, if this is what will move me ahead.

15. I reject the spirit of the tail and I claim the spirit of the head.

16. I command all evil records planted by the devil in anyone’s mind against my advancement to be shattered to pieces.

17. Oh Lord, transfer, remove or change all human agents that are bent on stopping my advancement.

18. Oh Lord, smoothen my path to the top by your hand of fire.

19. I receive the anointing to excel above my contemporaries in the name of Jesus.

20. Catapult me to greatness as you did for Daniel in the land of Babylon.

            God wants to deal with your heart, God wants to speak to your heart, God wants to heal your heart. That’s what Jesus died for so that we would be healed from the inside, down to the very depths of our soul. Those secret things in your heart, yes you are free delivered and healed, but pain comes and the process starts all over again. There is a balm in Gilead for your wounded soul. But I said I forgive them, I said its over, I rebuked the devil, the devil talks to your mind he has nothing to do with the affairs of your heart. That is God’s place. The devil can only speak things to you, you can receive it or not. As a result it can break your heart but that is not his purpose He don’t want to break your heart he wants to kill you and destroy you. Your heart is hurt as a result of what you take into it. The words of another, situation, circumstances; do you trust God, yes but there is yet still disappointments, let downs discouragement. Don’t get all deep on me and make it like it never visits your door. Even the most anointed and appointed in God goes through these feelings, and emotional pain, but the difference between us and the world is we have the word, the spirit of God and Jesus himself. We also have power and authority to overcome them all..

and not only did He restore it, He breathed new life and new hope along with the restoration of that dream. i really can see it with the eyes of my spirit that He can change this nation and HE WILL. my spiritual father, pastor joe di sarno, said last night that we must contend for the things of God and take hold of it so tightly that even if we go down, we must go down fighting for it.

i’m reading matt oliver’s “taking back the night” now and it’s like a resounding now word in my life. i’ve seen this before in my brother’s stuff and in my sister’s house but i never took the time to read it. i just browsed through it but today, God just started to stir up prayer and intercession for the young people in this nation.

every day, i take a cab to school. and almost every day, i see young people from their work at IT Park (where the call centers are) hanging out in a nearby drinking joint near their offices. bottles of red horse occupy the tables at 7:45 in the morning with young men and women probably swapping tales of calls from irate customers abroad. they’re out looking for an outlet. they’re out looking for comfort and understanding. maybe they’ve not yet even slept after work. but my heart breaks for them. today, tears came to my eyes as i passed them by. Lord, i don’t know what to do for them but my eyes are on You as the song of jason upton goes. My eyes are on You, Lord.

Not so long, I just found out that one of our co-employee/ colleague from Sutherland was murdered and beheaded by his boyfriend last Friday night, 1^st of October. I was in great shock. And because of this, I was awaken to earnestly pray and intercede for her and especially for her family for justice and penalty for this gruesome murder. May God find his way and release his justice for our beloved Ms. Katrina Gantan

Prayer for Justice

“Father God, as we lift up your most holy name, we thank you for your goodness, your mercy and your unfailing love. Thank you for your grace from where we always stand even in the midst of trouble and distress. But dear Lord, we pray and shout for great justice for the soul of Katrina Gantan, who was brutally killed and was murdered last Friday night. It hurts us so much that she is so young and innocent to experience such evil work. Our hearts are in pain, for we feel the hurt of her family and her friends and we pray that you will continually comfort them and release your grace upon them. We pray for justice. We shout for justice. This is what we all want. Justice. May your anger and your wrath be released to his killer,and may your mighty hand strike him a hundred times fold and may he pay the penalty of his great sin for taking away the life of his victim. This is the time for justice, Lord. We shout and cry for Justice. Our heart cries out. Our spirits cry out for justice. This is not your will, O’ Lord. This is not your plan and your destiny for her life. But this evil work won’t stop you from bringing justice to her and to her family. Take control, Father God. Have your way in us, especially to her and to her family. Teach them to open their hearts to you so they may accept your love, your grace and your mercy. And for this killer, take your revenge Lord. Strike him with your awesome power and great justice. We give it all to you, Father God. We offer you everything. And as we close this prayer, may your will be done in Jesus name,

Announcing a new photoblog– “echogram.”  It is a collaboration with a good friend, Mary Jo…

Mary Jo has served the pastoral staff of a large church as the Associate Pastor of Prayer & Intercession since 2004. She and her husband have two married daughters that have blessed them with four grandchildren.

I have served as a missionary for the last 13 years and also work as a freelance writer. My husband and I have one 21 year-old daughter.

One day over lunch, Mary Jo and I had the idea to combine our love of God’s Word, prophetic intercession, prayer, art, and photography into a blog…

One special weblog inspired us–the famous photoblog, “3191: A Year of Mornings” and “3191: A Year of Evenings.” In their blog, these two women have only met once,  live 3,191 miles apart, and decide to share their lives by photos taken in the soft light of morning and evening of their perspective worlds.

Each day for two years, they took photos from their very different worlds and entered them into their blog: “3191.” It was amazing to see how the photos “fused” and often echoed the same message, texture, themes, or colors.

Echogram–our photoblog–is our creative and prayerful expression as an echo or fusion as prophetic intercessors who love God’s Word and His creation. We see beauty and the expression of His presence–always wooing mankind with love and mercy–through creation, people, and the everyday, simple things that surround our lives.

The first photo on the top of each post will be taken by Mary Jo. The second on the bottom will be taken by me. After the first of the year, I will be traveling to Cyprus, Ethiopia, Ukraine, and Israel. Mary Jo will be serving the Lord’s body at home in the states in the area of her passion–prayer and intercession.

Several times a week, we will post photos of our everyday worlds–often with scriptures or prayers and intercessions–as a cry to a searching world… as a song of thanksgiving to our loving Father above… we long to “resound His glory and echo His praises from coast to coast” (Isaiah 42:12).

We believe that all of life is spiritual, and God is relentlessly revealing Himself to creation through daily events–from the monumental to the mundane.
