I’m on a train somewhere between Lake Balaton and Budapest in Hungary. We’ve had a tortuously ridiculous journey from Zagreb, involving multiple unexpected changes of trains and a snowstorm. Finally the train is moving steadily towards Budapest, and I’m listening to the “Glee” version of “Defying Gravity” from the musical “Wicked”.

I first downloaded this song as I planned for my trip to the United States in August 2011. At that time, it spoke to me of the changes I’d made in my life and the need for me to keep pushing myself to engage in new experiences. To keep defying my life’s gravity in whatever manner I could.

Looking back nearly two years later, it’s almost as if the song represents some form of musical prescience or foreknowledge of what was to unfold in the months following September 2011.

A lightning bolt to the solar plexus. A moment of the purest and sharpest precognition imaginable. Coming home and, in doing so, defying gravity (or perhaps anti-gravity?) in a manner that only the rare few will ever experience.

I’ve found myself in a place where I have to defy my life’s gravity (embrace an anti-gravity?) every day because I have no choice. I am continually brought back by that grave element to this central place where it all starts and finishes but somehow never ends. I am powerless and empowered at the same time.

And I know that our defiance and denial of this strange gravity will bring us home. Together.

Well, last week I decided to take up pendulum dowsing on a whim…cuz I’ve been rather bored lately and I’ll admit I know that psychic energy exists. Most of it is tucked away behind the subconscious just waiting to be tapped into. Nothing is really going on with anyone romantically, and the guy from Italy did the ‘fade away’. I’m not really bummed about that since I really didn’t get to know him too well anyway, I think I was more infatuated with the possibilities. In either case, he’s still on my Skype friends list, should he choose to reappear.

Back to the point, on a whim I decided to dowse the cash 5 lotto numbers before going to the grocery store. Checked the drawing that night and got 3 out of 5! Not bad for a first timer, and maybe only $10 dollars richer, but heck…I see some potential for this and room for growth! I must say, it was rather fascinating when I got a hit, or ‘yes’ answer. It was like some unseen force had taken over and exaggerated the movements so I would take notice. It was almost unreal, I got to say, everyone should try it at least once in there life. I don’t have a pendulum, so I used my cross necklace that I always wear. I actually think it may have worked better in the sense that it has my energy on it.

Today I decided to dowse questions about ‘S’. What can I say, I was bored and curious. According to this unforeseen energy, I’m going to hear from him April 3rd in an email that will lead to a phone call. The reason behind the correspondence will be because of a breakup with his girlfriend. This energy insists it will be genuine, not to feed his ego, not for advice on fixing his relationship, and seems there will be an apology of some sort – not by email but by phone. It implicated right now he doesn’t miss me nor will he reach out for romantic interest, but that will be the result. So perhaps an unexpected building of attraction or romantic interest as a result of communication.

Anyway, you know how I like to document everything so I can fact check later. So this post is just that, let’s ride this psychic wave of energy and see if any of it comes true! If it doesn’t, no loss, this was more of in good fun ‘just to see’. Only a few days to go, I’ll update if anything happens, this should be fun!

Daily Prompt: Deja Vu

Have you ever truly felt déjà vu, the sensation that you’ve already had the experience you’re currently having?

I’ve been here before
I know what is to come
The end will be of no surprise
It plays out in my head

I’ve seen you before
You are not a stranger
Eyes I never forget
That smile burns my thoughts

I can’t over this urge
The need to run
Is there somewhere to hide
I look for shelter

There is no escape
The end always the same
I will see you again
This is no dream

My deja vu moments usually manifest that feeling that I have met someone before. It takes “never met a stranger” to a whole new level. It always feels a little strange. For days, I rack my brain trying to rationalize the situation.

I’ve had to have met this person in the past. The memories are just blurred. Were they in my dreams?

I rarely come to a rational conclusion … so the experience is filed away … Deja Who?

This is just too funny – like a burglar trying to be upstanding by warning you against other burglars.

Just for sh**s and giggles I visited the Psychic Access “how to spot a psychic scam” page to see what kind of advice they provide to help us avoid psychic scams.

Under the header Screened, verified and accuracy tested they list these qualifications as characteristics of a legitimate psychic service (presumably referring to themselves):

The psychic has been tested by an independent organization, or

is registered with the local authorities, or

the site clearly has a strict selection and hiring policy available to the public.

Most people would read this list and believe each psychic meets all 3 of these qualifications and is therefore Screened, verified and accuracy tested, right? You would be wrong.

Note the header DOESN’T SAY: “Each psychic is screened, verified and accuracy tested”.

Also note the word “OR” placed between each of the 3 qualifications. This means, to be considered a true statement, ONLY 1 of the 3 qualifications need be fulfilled – NOT all 3. So, as long as the Psychic Access website “clearly has a strict selection and hiring policy available to the public (qualification #3),” they’re technically not being deceptive.

So rather than promising real, verified and tested psychics, these words only promise a website with a clear, strict selection and hiring policy available to the public.

Am i the only one seeing the irony of this deception coming from a psychic service warning us to avoid deceptive psychic services?

Mason I. Bilderberg (MIB)

P.S. The fact Psychic Access doesn’t have a money back guarantee didn’t escape my notice.
Psychic Access, a trusted global leader in online psychic reading services, has issued a public warning against fake psychics, fortune-telling scams and con artists.

Every day unsuspecting members of the public are conned into forking out ridiculous amounts of money to line the pockets of con artists, despite the fact that potential victims have access to online information on the subject.

“We often deal with the tragic aftermath of psychic scams, when the victim finally finds her way to us for skilled help and guidance,” says Doug Christman, CEO and President of Psychic Access, Inc. “Phony psychics not only damage the reputation of other legitimate psychic services, but they also wreak havoc in the lives of innocent, vulnerable people. Our team of readers at Psychic Access too often has to clean up the confusion and distress caused by these fraudsters. ”

In an effort to combat the prevalence of online psychic fraud and swindles, Psychic Access has now published a set of useful tips and guidelines on their website. The new information page offers a detailed anti-scam checklist informing consumers on how to spot a psychic scam. The set of red flags and danger signs was compiled from actual cases encountered by the experienced team at PsychicAccess.com and is made available online in an attempt to inform and educate the general public and potential customers who are interested in locating legitimate psychic reading services.

Raw notes from the sermon by The Reverend Tom Capo: He quoted other authors whose names I didn’t catch. “Wholeness is not attainable. But it can be approximated.” Balance. Beloved community of spiritual seekers. Find tasks that invigorate you. Look out and protect from over burdening especially when difficult tasks are to be done. spend time in discernment. This is a bio-psycho-social situation. One of the songs with lines to effect, “I will stand with you will you stand by me….”

Two different thoughts from sources: “You are the peacemaker and you want to take care of everybody. Don’t forget to replenish your reserves.” and “Old friends are best for what’s ahead….Plan what to say….Take time for yourself.”

I cleaned while Rich chain sawed the box elder tree and bucked it up. I prefer to be around when he is doing that type of work. And, I am always amazed how much more clearly I can think when the house is in better order. After he went off for errands I ventured off to the end of the Reiki share. It was the right thing to do on many levels.

The main room was quiet as all were in share sessions. So, I picked up the Cheryl Harnish destiny cards and did a five card reading. They represent the present, what energy one is holding on to, What Spirit asks one to acknowledge, the process to follow for revelation, and the outcome to anticipate. Pretty much spot on.One can read the cards for self but here is the gist.

# 28 Freedom: a spiral with little circular lines flaring off and coming back toward the spiral that immediately made me think of the labyrinth. (it all connects.) Step out from the protective shell. # 27 a big spiral (must be a theme going on here!) and made me think of the crystal I bought that brought to mind a fetus. New directions. Be spontaneous to the energy of possibilities. # 7 A heart. Inhale and exhale love. This coordinates with the mantra I have had forever: “Be still and know that I am Lord. Trust me sight unseen. Be joyful. Love.” 8-4-2-1. # 11 Infinity symbol. Infinite possibilities. Daydreams are ones deepest desires and wishes. And, they are possible. # 13 An opening like an arched door. Intuition is flowing in the highest levels and through the sub-conscious. The open connection is how I am meant to operate.

This time alone was exactly what I needed and the cards quite instructive and verifying.

When the others returned Jenny facilitated ending comments. She kindly called on me but I am not sure why. She later said, “You looked like you had something we needed to hear.” Well, flattering, but I am not sure all that significant. Then, a woman Maryann H. introduced herself and the points of interconnection are amazing: Has taught GED, does energy work in Fairfield, IA, where we just were on Saturday, she has a long time friend in CR whose husband died of ALS, which is what Jane White has. Seems like a person to get to know more.

Then, home and some evening work.

The World Jones Made is one of Philip K. Dick’s early novels, published in 1956. As in many of his novels, The World Jones Made is set in a post-nuclear war Earth and the democracy has given way to a variant of authoritarianism. Unlike the party tyrannies of 1984 or the emergence of a new imperial system as in many space operas, Dick is comfortable with his vision of the rise of a technocracy. The story is made up of three interrelated subplots. The first deals with the rise and dramatic collapse of Floyd Jones, a “precog” who can see into the future one year. The second is a series of experiments in mutants (created in large quantities during the war and often used for entertainment) with the goal of adapting them to the Venetian atmosphere. The final plot is the arrival to earth of the “Drifters,” which turns out to the pollen of a interstellar species, using the Earth as part of their reproductive cycle. Jones attempts to use the arrival of the Drifters and his precognition to create movement to cease political power from “Fedgov” (a world government). The novel ends with the quarantine of Earth by Drifters, who look on humans as a virus to be avoided – essentially limiting humans to the Solar System. Jones movement succeeds in pulling down Fedgov despite Jones’ death. Jones’ main political enemy, Doug Cussick – an agent of Fedgov – is exiled to Venus.

Power and Ideology
The major ideology that took over Earth after the war was “Relativism.” In theory any absolutism claim is grounds for arrest. Even the expression of a preference for one composer could land someone in into forced labor camps. In hopes of avoiding another war, the Fedgov imposed these laws. “I suppose Relativism is cynical. It surely isn’t idealistic. It’s the result of being killed and injured and made poor and working hard for empty words. It’s the outgrowth of generations of shouting slogans, marching with spades and guns, singing patriotic hymns, chanting, and saluting flags. . . . Jones can disagree with us. Jones can believe anything he wants; he can believe the Earth is flat, that God is an onion, that babies are born in cellophane bags. he can have any opinion he wants; but once he starts peddling it as Absolute Truth.” (33-34) This ideology is threatened by someone likes Jones, who has absolute knowledge of the future. It is for this reason that Cussick begins investigating him for making predictions about humanity’s future at a carnival. In a liquid world, we can understand the attraction of “relativism.” It was absolutists who become terrorists, crusaders, and blind patriots. We know politicians are cynical and do not mean what they say. We vote for them knowing that they will lie. Their cynicism and relativism is already a part of the system of late capitalist democracy. A politician or activist who seems to really believe what he says is a curiosity, not to be taken seriously and useful for entertainment. What else can serve in a liquid world? Where Dick is too optimistic is in his belief that this regimen of thought control would need to be imposed by the state. Throughout the novel Jones’ activists hold up signs like: “Disband the Terrorist Thought-Control Secret Police-End Concentration Slave Labor Camps-Restore Freedom and Liberty.” (103) Characters question Relativism throughout. In the world we live in, Relativism has become dogma without any need for a state apparatus. On some level we already know that absolute claims are dangerous. It is easier to be flexible.

The problem with Relativism as enforced ideology or as a rational response to a liquid world is that it takes away the possibility of dreaming. Dick speaks to this at a few moments in The World Jones Made. “But the followers of Jones had not given up; they had a dream, a vision. They were sure the Second Earth existed. Somehow, somebody have contributed to keep it from them: there was a conspiracy going on. It was Fedgov on Earth; Relativism was stifling them. Beyond Earth, it was the drifters. Once Fedgov was gone, once the drifters had been destroyed. . . the old story. Green pastures, beyond the very next hill.” (104)

Precognition
Jones’ dilemma is that despite having the ability to look into the future for one year, he is utterly incapable of forestalling his death of controlling events. There is a suggestion that Hitler was a “precog” and suffered from the same problem. His predictions were accurate but not far-reaching enough to stop his downfall. He goes to war envisioning success, but cannot see the failure around the corner. By the time Jones sees his own death, it is too late to change the course of events. Dick also plays with the Calvinist question of free will. If the future is known, changing or taking advantage of that future is not possible.

We are all precogs now. Anyone who looks at growing inequality, environmental destruction, climate change, the murder of millions of animals a day, the destruction of fisheries, and the growing cynicism of our political systems sees disasters ahead. Some of us might seek to profit from these disasters and a few might try to avert it. The vast majority of us, no matter how clear the vision of the future is, move on with little real concern. Like Jones, who knew he was fated for great things, we assume we are fated for destruction. Like the Relativists argue, to speak harsh lessons of truth creates unnecessarily social disorder. Much better to go quietly, in full respect of everyone’s opinions and odious actions. Precognition gives warnings but it makes it impossible for us to arrest our future. A much better approach is to ignore the warnings from the future and create the world we want today without abandon or reservation.

Dick gives us one area of hope at the end of the novel. From a small settlement on Venus, a “civilization” is possible. “But it was a good sight. All of it: the fields, the animal sheds, the smoke-house, the silo, the main cabin, now a double-walled building with two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and indoor bathroom. And already, Garry had located a substitute for wood-pulp; an abortive paper had been turned out, followed by primitive type. It was only a question of time before their society became a civilization: a civilization, now, of nine individuals.” (195) Once we swallow our disgust of this new civilization being a replica of middle class America, we realize that it is the only hope that PKD gives us. We do not have a frontier to retreat to. We are instead Jones, realizing the end of our world and baffled that all of our knowledge has failed to forestall our doom.

The air outside and around is thick with damp and bad feelings of late, each silvery drop suspended

The air outside and around is thick with damp and bad feelings of late, each silvery drop suspended as a second ticking on a clock face, counting down until true Spring arrives and my future sorts itself. I still haven’t received a letter confirming whether or not I get to stay at the Nick. As with a lot of cleaning companies, they’re probably stringing me and the others out, to avoid a mass exodus of workers. At least until the new company moves in; and as to that, I still have no idea whether they’ll be bringing their own task force, or if I’ll be automatically absorbed.

So I continue to climb stairs, swill out muddy floors and badger the maintenance guy over leaks. Poor bloke. One day, I’ll walk up to him with a cup of tea and biccy, rather than the woeful news of yet another overflowing urinal.

I sometimes have little bursts of precognition. Please don’t laugh. I did, at first, over the years of predicting radio songs and finding cash on the ground. Safe stuff. But recently, it’s turned to tiny whispers in my ear; yesterday, I “heard” the name of the sixteen-year murdered on a Birmingham bus by a man sectioned today, before I’d even opened the article fully on my phone. I heard the letters spelled out like ghostly hands sifting through my hair. I read the name with familiarity an ache in my throat.

The fella has always rolled his eyes, hunched his non-believer-in-anything shoulders. He humours me, lets me talk myself to silence, and I know now to keep this stuff to a minimum; one of many secrets. I have no religion, though paganism was a fixture in my teens; but as a firm believer in Things, in the small-miracles of Nature that occur every day, I know to listen when the world speaks. I know some things are not for explanation. So, in order to reduce brain static, I’ve a somewhat dubious habit of blocking out surplus noise. Emotional hiccups being my forte, the less involvement with others’ lives (like my mother, and her guilt-trip conscience), the better. No crossed eyes, no split ends or shortfused brain. But every now and then, I don’t seem to have much choice.

I dreamed of my old school friend in the early hours of Thursday (yesterday) morning, and woke to that bitter taste of reality checking in. I never dream of her. In school, it was often said we were as much each others’ best friends as enemies, since our rivalry ran as deep as the bond that kept two very lonely, dark-minded teens together. We fought the world; it spat back, all that bollocks. But as years went on, we drifted apart, certainly not helped in kind by her getting involved with my Dad. Very Long Story, the upshot of which was anorexia, and years of non-communicado beween three people who should’ve known better, had the girls in question been older than sixteen and my Dad more than a lonely divorcee.

It could’ve gone on forever, that animosity which kept two erstwhile friends apart and Dad stirring up shit in the middle, were it not for my old man’s penchant for control, particularly of the strong-minded women he liked to people his world with. You can probably guess the rest, but it sure ended with a bang – namely, the back door, when she walked out, leaving the engagement ring. She’d finally learned her lesson from my mother; we all bit down on those God-awful words ‘I told you so.’

Anyway. She hooked up with a lovely new fella, albeit with his own issues, though these managed to finely mesh with her own. A comforting force all the same, a man I’ve always thought of as laid-back enough to fall over. They’re a perfect match, with her neurosis gently annulled by his confidence and decent humour. They were wed last September.

And yet, when I dreamed of her yesterday, she sat in pale lemony light in my mother’s house (of all places, perhaps a neutral point in an old home town filled with ghosts of our shared past) with my Dad and I. We were as we are now, and I knew something had changed in my dreaming. I rarely see myself in that world as an adult, the slightly weary and creative person I’ve finally grown into. To see my father too, a man still bitter but mellowing with age and experience of losing those he loves, was enough to make me pay close attention even as I slept. These two will never sit in the same room now, and have yet to speak amicably since she left him, to find herself. Yet there we were, the three of us making quietly laughing shadows on the walls, reminiscing sadly on our past – the horrid words, the unspeakable actions. Reflecting on where we are now, how different things could’ve been, had we only this kind of age and experience to mollify us. All things move towards their end.

Yet when she stood up to go next door for drinks, Dad looked at me sadly and admitted – as I’d known he would, not through any precognition but experience – that despite marrying another woman, he’s never got over my friend. I still distinctly recall being seventeen, shivering with winter and raw bones while listening to him sob in the dark of a rain-filled train station. We’d had our annual father-daughter time out in London, and all day he’d been morose. I learned about love that night, how it gets under the skin and breaks every bone, every cell, finding all that you hold dear and take for granted, and savaging it. Never letting up, never letting go.

This doesn’t bode well for me; but that’s another story, and another man.

A phone call came (in the dream) and when Dad answered, I heard a girl on the other end. She told us that my friend was having an affair with her flatmate, but had been tricked into it with alcohol involved. Before I could get to the bottom of this, my alarm went off to wake me; but I still remember Dad’s haunted face, how he hadn’t seemed the least bit surprised. And these words: ‘I’d know her better than most.’

Now, I’m not so sure she meant my Dad.

So – my friend texts last night, frantic and stumbling over herself to get the words out fast enough. To put it mildly, there have been problems of a marital nature that involve her feelings for another man, and her husband’s paranoia – to the point of hacking her FB and phone, when she wouldn’t come clean on where she’d been and who with.

My world has come slightly unpinned. A love like theirs is not readily turned off; they’ve been through too much together. Yet somehow, this generous bloke has become a paranoid shadow of himself, and she sure hasn’t done herself any favours, slipping lies behind his back. Whatever she feels for the other man, nothing has yet happened, and I’ve a sneaking suspicion that she may use this as an excuse to move forward. So my final warning to her ran thus: to discontinue seeing this guy, at least until things with her husband are sorted. If he’s any kind of a decent bloke, he’ll understand.

Speaking these words, I realized more about my own situation, as it once was with that other man; I knew then, what he may well have felt, and how he acted upon it. Or perhaps I’m imagining things again.

I didn’t imagine that dream though. Even she was spooked by the semi-accuracy. Maybe I will try honing this into some kind of skill. Not that I have much control over it.

Have you ever had a dream that just didn’t seem like it meant anything untill something happens that is Identical to what you dreamed of? I am so amazed at how frequent this has become for me, I can’t explain them to people without them thinking I have lost my mind. In the past I would just keep quiet about them because I was afraid of the reaction of people, But now my family has became believers in dreams. I have been keeping a dream journal and that really helps me to fully understand some of the symbols. When I am relaxed they become more frequent, if I ever get really stressed, I can’t remember them as much. I just want to say no matter how small you think your dreams are, WRITE THEM DOWN. You will eventually see patterns that will help you understand.

I think it was winter 2001, I was living in the northern suburbs of Chicago. My apartment complex h

I think it was winter 2001, I was living in the northern suburbs of Chicago. My apartment complex had a long winding drive that passed a few small ornamental duck ponds that sat in between the buildings. At one point, the road curved around the edge of a pond with only about six feet or so between them. There was an iron fence separating the pond from the road.

One evening after an exhausting day at work, I was driving through my complex past one of the duck ponds and the road was covered in snow. All I could think about was getting home and warming up. Then out of nowhere, an instant strong thought overwhelmed my mind – with so much snow on the road, a car could go straight through the middle of the iron fence and be submerged in the adjacent pond. This thought was not an image or words, but a concrete finished conclusion – more like replaying a memory than a what-if speculation or daydream.

As soon as I thought it, I immediately discounted it as not realistic. This drive had curves, snow and speed bumps. No one goes fast enough on it to have a big accident like that. Although a car could certainly drift or slide off the road, I could not see how it would make it all the way into the pond from that spot. It would have to do a very strange maneuver to go from the outer edge of the curve – which at that point is headed away from the pond – then make a 90 degree turn and hit the fence straight on. That path would be exactly perpendicular from the direction it had been traveling. Based on my limited experience, that was not how cars skidded in snow. Besides, the plowed snow created little berms on each side of the road, which would probably slow down or stop a car. Then I thought that the iron fence would further slow down or stop any car that had managed to drift that far. The whole idea of such a dramatic accident in such an awkward spot seemed ridiculous and I told myself firmly that it just could not happen.

Assuming that my very tired brain had simply cooked up some silliness to make me pay attention to my driving, I was extra careful going the few hundred more yards to my place. After some rest, the next day I headed back out to work. There was still lots of snow, but everything was normal in the complex and I did not think any more about the strange thoughts from the previous night.

Another long day and another drive home, took me back to the apartment drive about the same time of day and with the same snowy conditions. As I carefully made my way along, I could see something was a little different up ahead. There was something yellow flapping in the wind on the fence, but I could not see it clearly from the angle I was travelling. Then as I rounded that last curve and looked to my right, my heart stopped and I started shaking all over.

There were two tire tracks in the snow leaving the road from the furthest out part of the curve. They were exactly perpendicular to the direction of travel. They continued right up to the fence, or what was left of it. Now there was a car sized portion of the fence missing. The tire tracks continued past the fence, through the frozen crust and into the pond. There was a car sized hole in the icy surface. The yellow flapping in the wind had been the police tape warning people away from the scene.

My teeth chattered, my mind stopped completely and I felt devastated. Why? What was I supposed to do? I didn’t know any of my neighbors. I had no way to know which of them I could have warned. I had not even believed the warning, so why would they have listened if I had spoken up. Yet, no matter how I tried to rationalized it, I felt responsible. I felt like I failed and that the consequences were my fault.

I could not handle it. I did not know what to do, so I did nothing. I did not tell anyone. I did not watch the news. I did not read the paper. I completely avoided learning the fate of the person who ended up in that frozen pond. To this day, I do not know the end of the story.

But, I have learned my lesson. Now I do pay attention. I no longer dismiss the odd thoughts that intrude on my days. I try very hard to catch even the small warnings that pop up multiple times a day. I just hope that the next time I get a life or death message, I will know what to do. I can’t imagine anything worse that knowing something awful will happen to my loved ones and not being able to stop it.

by FlameHorse via Listverse Precognition involves the theory that people are able to think of an eve

by FlameHorse via Listverse

Precognition involves the theory that people are able to think of an event before it happens. It is still considered supernatural—a form of clairvoyance—and not generally accepted as possible. The most famous literary example is Morgan Robertson’s Futility: or the Wreck of the Titan, to which Listverse has already drawn attention. Here are eight other examples to stretch your belief in coincidence.

• 8 – Game of Death and the Death of Brandon Lee

Game of Death was Bruce Lee’s final film, and he died before he could finish it. The film is about villains kidnapping his character’s girlfriend, and forcing him to fight them one on one. In an early scene, his character, who plays a martial arts action star, is rehearsing for a scene and is supposed to be shot at with blanks. One of the villains loads his gun with a real bullet and shoots Lee’s character in the face.

Twenty years later, Bruce Lee’s son, Brandon, was filming The Crow, which is about an ordinary man who is killed by a gang of thugs who rape and kill his fiancee as well. Lee’s character comes back from the dead and exacts revenge. With the film almost completed, one of the scenes required Lee to walk on set and be shot by FunBoy, played by Michael Massee.

The weapon is a .44 magnum revolver, and a few days earlier, a scene required a close-up view of the weapon loaded with what appears to be live ammunition. These are dummy rounds: a bullet, a casing, and a primer if the primers are required to be shown, but no gunpowder. If the primers are not shown, they are either spent primers, or the casings are unprimed. This particular gun did not require live primers, and had spent ones in its ammunition.

One of the handlers tested the weapon by dry-firing it to be sure it was safe, and heard a loud pop. Upon inspection, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, and the weapon was set aside. What had happened was one of the dummy rounds had a live primer, which it should not have had. In the absence of powder, the bullet was pushed out of the casing, but not out of the barrel.

In the fatal scene, Massee had no idea the gun had a bullet in it, and fired what he thought was a blank. The full charge of powder propelled the the bullet out of the barrel and into Lee’s abdomen just as if a live round had been used. He was shot point-blank with a .44 magnum. The bullet perforated his intestine and lodged in his spine. He bled to death about six hours later despite surgery.

• 7 – The Lone Gunmen Pilot and 9/11

The Lone Gunmen was a spin-off from The X-Files, and featured the three titular characters experiencing adventures surrounding conspiracy theories, government cover-ups, and computer hacking. The pilot episode premiered on March 4, 2001, and proved very popular. It depicted the trio uncovering a United States government plot to have a commercial airline hijacked and flown into one of the World Trade Center towers in New York City. The government’s intent is shown to be a desire to sell more weapons to American civilians, and militaries around the world in the ensuing global fear of terrorism.

Six months and one week later, both World Trade Center towers were in fact destroyed by commercial airliners hijacked by Islamic terrorists. The Lone Gunmen episode aided immeasurably in fueling paranoia about a US government conspiracy and cover-up. The conspicuous height of the WTC towers always provided fear that a plane could strike them. It was no secret that they were the most obvious targets in the entire city, much wider at their tops than the Empire State Building, which tapers. But the similarity with the pilot episode is no less uncanny.

While there, he is an eyewitness to a terrorist bombing of a night club that kills two hundred people. Houellebecq stated later that one number was as good as another, and he chose two hundred arbitrarily. The terrorists are depicted driving a minivan loaded with fertilizer explosives into the building.

On 12 October 2002, in Bali, Indonesia, Jemaah Islamiya terrorists detonated minivans filled with potassium chloride, sulfur, and aluminum powder, wrapped in PETN detonation cord in the street between Paddy’s Pub and Sari’s Club. A suicide bomber had first killed himself by detonating his backpack inside Paddy’s, forcing the patrons into the street where the car bomb exploded. Two hundred and two people were killed, and another two hundred and nine wounded.

The two locations are 1,134 miles (1825km) apart, but this seems to be trumped by the similarities in attack methods and numbers of dead.

• 5 – The Illuminati Card Game and 9/11

This trading card game has been marketed by Steve Jackson Games since 1982 and is still popular. Expansions, in the way of cards, are frequently added to the game, and in 1995, new conspiracy theories were propagated for the game revolving around the Illuminati effecting a “fire sacrifice to Satan” by nuking the World Trade Center in New York City. At the same time, they nuked the Pentagon.

Cards were sold depicting precisely this, and the card for blowing up the WTC is now legendary across the Internet. Though it predated the actual terrorist bombings by six years, the fiery explosion appears to occur in the South Tower, at almost the very spot where the plane struck, about the 80th floor. The tower is drawn on the card as toppling over, exactly as it did in reality, not pancaking straight down as the North Tower did.

Law of Attraction and Dreams, Premonitions or Predictions Recently, I received an interesting email

Law of Attraction and Dreams, Premonitions or Predictions

Recently, I received an interesting email in which a woman told me that when she was 10 years old, she was shown in a dream how one day she would have a son and he would die at a certain age in a specific fashion. She also reported that this did, in fact, occur. Her question to me was, “How can I believe the Law of Attraction is working when some things seem beyond our control?”

What’s happening when we have dreams, premonitions or receive a prediction that something (usually unwanted) is going to take place in the future? Or when it does happen we remember having received foreknowledge?

Here are three things you might consider:

1. Time only exists here on earth for us humans. Quantum physics teaches that although everything; every event, every experience, every possibility exists at the same time–in the NOW–man has invented time: the past, the present and the future, to bring some sort of order into these experiences. Religions call this Eternity–the place where time has no beginning and no end.

2. The Law of Attraction teaches us that everything vibrates and every vibration affects all other vibrations. I like the way Abraham-Hicks put it: “Everything vibrates and is communicating, reacting, responding and integrating with other vibrating things.” ~Well Being Cards

3. Our subconscious mind is directly connected to the Super Conscious Mind (Source, Higher Power, Inner Being and Holy Spirit) and we are all learning how to translate this information for “human consumption.” Remember, the translator is a person with their own agenda, fears and ideas about the meaning of this information.

I have been experiencing dreams, visions and prophetic words since 1987–actually, I had many experience of this nature as a young child, followed by years of rare occurrences. What I’ve found is that ANY piece of information can be interpreted through a filter of fear or love. When it is filtered through fear, it usually brings an ominous feeling to the prediction. When it is filtered through love, the message uplifts, encourages and strengthens people. And the choice is in the hands of the interpreter. I have decided to interpret dreams, visions and prophecies in the most positive life-giving way! Any thing less does not feel good to me.

So, my answer to the question: “How can I believe the Law of Attraction is working when some things seem beyond our control?” is this–

All things are connected at Source. Believe the best interpretation you can give to your dreams, premonitions, and all such occurrences. And if the prediction should come true–or you receive an outcome which is different or less than you would have chosen–KNOW THIS: you are indeed blessed to have been PREPARED for this event.

When I was pregnant with my fourth child, Sarah, I had a premonition that something was not right with the child I was carrying. I even told one of my girlfriends, “You know how people say, ‘I don’t care if it’s a boy or girl, as long as it’s ok?’ Well, I can’t say that about this baby. I CAN say, ‘I don’t care if it’s a boy or girl and it’s ok if it is not ok.’ All will be well.” And of course, when Sarah was born it was still surprising that she was born with Down’s Syndrome. And yet, I felt so SPECIAL, because I HAD been prepared.

I truly believe in the prevalence of Goodness. I believe the knowledge of an event before it occurs is a gift. Something in us attracted this knowledge so that we could consciously prepare for it. Does that mean we have no choice or say in such matters? Sometimes the vibration of another person becomes a part of our life and deep down inside of us, we DO have a corresponding harmonious vibration. Sarah chose to be born different genetically. Her true self wants to experience life here on earth different from most people. I have a vibration in me that loves her and wants to encourage and support her along her journey.

We are a perfect match. And all really is well.

Impossible is Just a Word

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn’t dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can’t do this. It’s too hard. It’s too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

The Perfection Of The Law Of Attraction Creating Your Dreams

You have heard all about the Law of attraction. You’ve watched the DVDs, read the books and listened to the audios. You have visualized and affirmed your goals. Yet, still you have not realized your dreams. Isn’t it time you decided once and for all that you deserve the life you have always wanted? Believe me when I tell you that you can have , be or do anything you can imagine. Wherever you are at this present moment you can be where you want to be sooner than you think. Let me show perfection behind the Law of Attraction. Let me show you how to create your dreams!

Are you aware that a mere 2% of the world’s population holds around ninety percent of the entire world’s wealth? A mere 2% of our world’s population openly admit that they have everything they want and are living their fantasy life. But how come only 2% of the population achieve their most worthy and desired goals? It probably wouldn’t surprise you to learn that most of the 2% that have all the wealth are the same people who are also living out their fantasies (independent of money). They have perfect relationships, health and social lives. Is it that these favoured few are just born lucky? Is it simply their destiny to go through life with effortless opportunity after effortless opportunity while you are you destined to scramble about for the scraps from their table?

These people create their own lives. They build a world that they love and enjoy spending time in it. They are creators. They create their own lives and carve out their own destinies. However, it is not only this small minority of the planet that can create their lives. Every one of us creates own life, everyone – without exception!

There is a fundamental truth behind all reality. Do you want to know what it is? Good, let me tell you. The fundamental truth behind reality is this: Your thoughts are creative. Not some of your thoughts but all of your thoughts and you have, on average, 50,000 thoughts every day!

What are your thoughts creating?

The only difference between the creative 2% of our world’s population and the other 98% is how they think! They think differently from the rest of the world. It is through our thinking that we send out powerful vibrations that begin a process of manifestation that is governed by the Law of Attraction!

What you think about, you bring about!

The Law of Attraction an almost mystical concept for many of us and hard to believe for many more but it exists nevertheless and you ignore its eternal workings at your peril. Wake up! Whether you just want to play a bit with the concept, or you plan to become a fully conscious attractor of the life you want, you owe it to yourself to check it out!

If this great law doesn’t really exist then you have lost nothing and gained some new ways of finding out what doesn’t work. If however, and you will assuredly find that this is true, you discover that it does exist and you can use it to attract whatever you want, you will have the keys to the Universe! Do you think it’s worth the risk and a little of your time to investigate this Law?

We all know about those people who drift through their lives attracting opportunity after opportunity after opportunity. We all know someone who sits idly while things fall into their lap (usually, from our point of view, undeservedly) or those that have an unnerving knack for being in the right place at the right time. Do you understand that they have a certain quality that you do not? Do you know what it is?

This characteristic or quality has been referred to by many names. Being in the ‘flow’ or being in the ‘zone’ are two of the most commonly used. It is the quality of being at ease in life and just allowing life to come to you rather than chasing after it all the time. They live lives that seem to be almost effortless and attract almost effortless opportunities. I know of people who believe it is just “the luck of the draw” and others who swear that it is a mathematical certainty that someone, somewhere has to be that lucky – they truly believe it is all just a matter of averages and from a population of six billion someone has to be born lucky.

It may appear that these people are overly favoured by some omnipotent being or just by life at large. However, neither is true. It is only because these people think and also act in a different way than the rest of us do. They have made “luck” and “coincidence” a habit.

The rest of us live with a mentality that believes life must be hard and anything worth achieving must come with sacrifices and struggle. It is a type of victim mentality that immediately sets the Law of Attraction into motion and brings us more life experiences that confirm our current belief!

It is time you studied this Great Law of Attraction and come to understand exactly how it works. Don’t you think it’s time you put it to work in your own life and begin to create the life of your dreams?

I grabbed a paperback book from my stash in the closet this morning, and was about two chapters into the book when one of the main characters remarked how she liked the sound of her high heels when they clack on the wood floor. She said the sound was empowering.

The passage reminded me of hearing the same sound outside my office as people traverse the parquet wood floor and how the shoes have made indentations in the wood over the past couple of years. I got to thinking that the floors really needed to be sanded and refinished soon.

This afternoon when I arrived at the office, I couldn’t go through the main doors because the maintenance people were working on the floors, getting them ready for sanding and refinishing.

I was listening to the radio during a recent road trip and singing along to a Dolly Parton song called “Hard Candy Christmas.” I’m not a huge Parton fan, and I really don’t like C&W music all that much either, but I do like that song which was featured in the movie/show “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.”

When I stopped at Cracker Barrel for a pit stop for me, and to give Cosmo a quick walk, my last thought when I got out of the car was that I should buy the soundtrack from Whorehouse.

Just inside the front door of Cracker Barrel was a carousel with music cd’s and front and center?

Have you experienced sharing the same dream?

I woke up today from an REM sleep. I checked my facebook account and this guy in my dream sent me a private message telling me he dreamed of me last night. I was shock because we dreamed of each other at the same night. It feels weird because we haven’t seen each other for years and we barely chat in Facebook and comment in each others Facebook status and then suddenly we dream about each other. It got even weirder when we found out we both went to bed at around 3am and both woke up at around 9am.

It wasnt particularly sharing the same dream though, just like what I have told him probably its because we are in a different level of innocence. LOL

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Michio Kaku is the master of pop physics writing. While you may find names like Brian Greene or Neil Degrasse Tyson more recognizable, if you haven’t read any of Kaku’s work, this is a good one with which to start.

This book examines the possibility (or lack thereof) of many technologies and scientific concepts prevalent in science fiction.

Why spend time reading about things impossible? It turns out that one’s definition of “impossible” matters greatly. Kaku divides the world of impossible into three classes. The first, and largest class by far, are those technologies that are impossible given today’s capabilities, but aren’t prohibited by the known laws of physics. This class includes technologies that one can readily imagine such as: robots, starships, and phasers. However, it also includes developments that one might think are firmly in the realm of sci-fi, such as: teleportation, telepathy, force fields, and psychokinesis.

Class II impossibilities are those that look impossible now, but which may prove possible as our knowledge increases. They include faster than light travel, time travel, and the existence of parallel universes. The first two require uncovering loopholes in prevailing Einsteinian paradigm. The second also begs the question of why we don’t have time tourists.

Class III impossibilities are those that violate the known, well-established laws of physics. Kaku only puts two items in this bin, perpetual motion and precognition.

Kaku’s book discusses a fascinating topic in a highly readable format and using good science.
