MEANWHILE IN ISRAEL AND ‘PALESTINE’

Is this the same Sweden whose Prime Minister suddenly produced a President for the EU after (unbelievable, in hindsight) rumours of big differences between the 27? The very one.

If you were under the naive impression that the reason for ‘President Rompuy’ and not ‘President’ Blair had anything to do with Iraq, forget it. It was politics alright, but not as we know it. See here and here. Merci bien, M Sarkozy, petit bastard, poodle.

This decision was about the future and not the past; ‘Palestine’s’ future.

Mr Blair is seen by some in the EU as too pro-Israel. Wrongly seen as it happens. He is as pro-Israel as he was pro-Irish nationalism while settling the Northern Ireland conflict.

What Mr Blair would NOT have done if in any position of power in the EU was stand by and watch this:

Mainly, it might be suggested, because Israel too will not stand by and watch this.

As I suggested here, it may be time for the Quartet to up Blair’s powers in the Middle East. But don’t expect them to move in this direction any time soon. The Quartet is made up of the UN, the USA, the EU and Russia. At least one of those august bodies has its own reasons for keeping Blair’s profile low in the Middle East. The same one which has its own reasons for keeping Britain’s profile low in Europe.

Now which of them could that be?

There was a popular book in the 1950’s called “The Ugly American”, which proposed that the US was losing ground in the struggle against Communism because of its arrogance and refusal to try to understand other cultures.

Today a great deal of ugliness comes from Europe. It includes an arrogant belief that they can continue to remake the map of the Mideast however they want, as they’ve done for the past several centuries, as well as a deliberate ignorance about the intentions of the players there.

Someone — I’m sorry that I don’t recall who — said that they would have given him [Richard Goldstone] a Nobel, but he spoiled it by saying that ‘Palestinian armed groups’ (not even ‘Hamas’) “may be guilty of war crimes” along with Israel. And of course they needed to give it to Obama, for reasons not clear to anyone including the recipient.

Sweden is at the forefront of Israel-hatred in Europe. Its government refused to condemn the Aftonbladet organ-stealing slander, and it is the source of funding for many of the most biased NGOs. So naturally Goldstone is a hero to them.

But far worse is a resolution recently introduced by Sweden to the Council of the EU to split Jerusalem and recognize ‘Palestine’ in all the territories formerly occupied by Jordan.

By the way, a commenter at this site says:

‘As for the Europeans it is to be hoped that they will not follow the Swedish anti- Israel line, even if it is only because they understand it will not further their stated goal of ‘peace’. But then again they may be so cynical and corrupt that they understanding there is no chance for real peace for the forseeable future simply wish to gain propaganda points with the Islamic world.’

Iran’s Press TV quotes the EU: “Israel must resolve status of Al Quds”

European Foreign Ministers are expected to discuss a Swedish proposal which calls on Israel to recognize East Jerusalem Al-Quds as the capital of Palestine.

According to a draft statement obtained by media outlets, the EU officials meeting in Brussels on Tuesday will ask Israel to “end discriminatory acts against Palestinians” and resolve the status of Jerusalem Al-Quds.

The draft also criticizes Tel Aviv for building illegal settlements and demolishing Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank, saying it threatens the two-state solution.

The EU has made it clear that it is in favor of a viable state of Palestine comprised of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem Al-Quds as its capital.

Israel occupied and annexed East Jerusalem Al-Quds in 1967 and has labeled it as its “eternal indivisible capital” in a move never recognized by the international community.On Monday, Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn stressed once again that all European countries view East Jerusalem Al-Quds as occupied territory, saying that “if it’s occupied — then it doesn’t belong to Israel.”

My thoughts on the above last sentence:

World Bank gives $64M to Palestinian Authority to prepare for statehood

The World Bank has given $64 million to the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank to help it prepare for statehood.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad signed the agreement on Sunday. World Bank official Shamshad Akhtar says the goal is to boost Fayyad’s plan to set up institutions for a state within two years, though talks with Israel are stalemated.

First Gaza Use of Russian Anti-Tank Missiles Disclosed

(IsraelNN.com) It was disclosed Sunday evening that terrorists fired two smuggled Russian S5K anti-tank missiles which landed near the Gaza security fence in the vicinity of Kibbutz Alumim Sunday morning. Analysis by the Israel Defense Forces showed the missiles to be air-to-surface weapons designed to be fired from helicopters. Such missiles are used by terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the attacks are believed to mark their first use in Gaza.

Re-examines our ideas about birth control.

God’s people were never supposed to use it.

But with the introduction of the birth control pill in 1960 and its blessing by the World Council of Churches in 1961, Protestant ministers and their wives jumped on the birth control bandwagon. Their action lead many of God’s people to accept a lifestyle of family planning. Twenty-five years ago in the mid 1980’s home-schoolers revived the no birth control belief and today the movement has broadened to tens of thousands of couples.

Basically rethinking birth control has gone mainstream.

Those of us who are quiverfull know that quiverfull mothers are some of the happiest because we are birthing and raising our children. It’s a shame the liberal press is attempting to portray us as a bunch of “uneducated breeders” being forced to go along with dictatorial husbands. My husband is one of the nicest guys in the world, hardly a dictator and I am a college educated women. If this were true of other quiverfullers then there’s got to be some unhappy women out there!! RIGHT?

It’s been 25 years now. A lot of women have become quiverfull. Some of their sons and daughters are grown and are becoming quiverfull. Surely in 25 years time given the internet, youtube, blogs, books, cult watching scandals, religion in the news and the ease of information in our press wouldn’t a large group of women have spoken out by now?

THE TRUTH IS: They’re not out there!

Letting God give us children makes mothers happy and after twenty five years quiverful mothers are some of the happiest!

Well, quite a lot actually.

On Sunday I spent the day touring the Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior, which is virtually a celebrity, with all the press coverage it gets! Video of the day on its way…

In the next few weeks I’ll be meeting the one and only Boris Johnson and putting some questions to him. I’m particularly interested to know how green the Tories really are. David Cameron may well cycle to and from work, but it seems there’s mutiny in the ranks, check this out – http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/nov/16/tory-bloggers-climate-change.

Next week I’m gong to be interviewing someone from the Environmental Justice Foundation. Their recent report, No Place Like Home, highlights the humanitarian plight of an estimated 150 million people whose homes will be lost as a result of climate change by 2050. So why aren’t more human rights organizations getting involved?

Next Thursday evening Press TV is hosting ‘The Copenhagen Conference: Last chance to save the world?’ with Andrew Gilligan. It’s a chance to get a final world in before COP15 gets underway on December 7th.

I’ll also be getting to grips with freeganism, an increasingly popular movement here and around the world.

Finally, I hope you’ve heard about the Wave. ‘On Saturday 5 December 2009, ahead of the crucial UN climate summit in Copenhagen, tens of thousands of people from all walks of life will march through the streets of London to demonstrate their support for a safe climate future for all.’ Dress-code, blue. Holocaust Invention In progress
Next to the myth of a Palestinian Holocaust in 1948 in El Nabka; the most prevalent myth is the Palestinian Holocaust being created right now. This element of propaganda is so popular that it actually drives a real actual genocide in Darfur off the front pages.Its easy to measure. Just put genocide into Google and you will Darfur being relegated to obscurity while the Palestinian Holocaust or genocide had more entries. I find that amazing. The power of a fraudulent ethnic cleansing actually eclipses a real ethnic cleansing.
You have four parties attracted to the invented genocide as with much propaganda favorable to the Palestinians. The first are liberals and leftists who consider the oppression of the Palestinians unconscionable and that exaggerating the casualties and distorting the facts permissable as long as it stops Israels efforts. The second are those unfamiliar with the conflict and its history. They are just horrified by any war and since its easy to condemn Israel in a reactionary knee jerk fashion they go along with the crowd. They cannot believe that transplanted civilized Europeans would go down to the level of savage Arabs. This group includes phony liberals and what I call boo hoos. The third group are right wing white supremacist types. They include Neo Nazis, Aryan Nations, Christian Identity, Christian Fundamentalists (Not to be confused with Christian Zionists)and the like. The fifth group are the broad range of Islamists who will lie, produce hoaxes, disinformation, and of course exaggerations. This includes the Palestinian Media which actually manufactures tales of abuse that is commonly known as Pallywood. The famous Muhammad Al-Dura affair,the Gaza Beach munitions explosion, numerous fake accounts of Israeli cruelty and killings and exaggerations that transform gun battles into massacres like the Jenin operation. This is of course identical to the invented 1948 incidents. Why not; those were created not that long ago as well. The Arab Press like al-Arabiya and al-Jazeera dutifully reports and repeats the Palestinian tales of woe. And then there is the Iranian media which also invents news stories like the CIA predicts the fall of Israel in 20 years. That too gets repeated in the Arab medias as well although most informed Arabs are actually skeptical of the Mullah mafia propaganda mouthpiece. In addition you have various Western medias with some Anti-Israel stance.
The British media is driven by a large Muslim population to cater to. Leftist and liberal papers with their “Jews shouldn’t resort to violence” mentality exist in Europe. But the right wing press especially in nationalist Russia also has no punctions repeating Palestinian and Arab propaganda masquerading as news. You have internet agents filling up google with hoaxes such as the Palestinian Holocaust as well as forums, groups and other message boards.I usually reply “the Palestinian Holocaust is the Only Holocaust where the victims tripled in population, I wish the Jewish people had THAT kind of Holocaust.” This lie is usually followed by false descriptions of Gaza as a concentration camp. My reply again is ” Gaza is a huge piece of territory where people have self-rule. There are fields, farms, towns and beaches.”I wish the Jewish people who suffered in Auschwitz, Dachau, Buchenwald, Birkenau had THOSE kinds such concentration camps as Palestinian Gaza.”
