The alien pistol in Silent Hill: Homecoming breaks the game. I learned this a couple days ago, after a replay of what I normally consider to be a fairly challenging survival horror game was turned into a cakewalk with my sci-fi weaponry in hand.

Now, I’ll grant, as it’s a replay bonus, it’s allowed to do this. I’ve braved the game’s monsters, earned my reward… which is senseless, merciless slaughter of all who stand in my way.

But as a game where the designers severely restricted bullets and encouraged players to learn enemy quirks and time dodges precisely… it seems underwhelming to just point, aim and shoot like an idiot.

It’s considerably worse when this sort of game-breaking stuff is integrated into the primary game experience itself. And I’m not talking about momentary shifts of power, such as the last sword given in the original Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, which provided unlimited killing potential because it did so at the cost of the ability to rewind time.

I’m talking about things that are given to you and consciously or unconsciously shatter the challenge. Often times these elements are tucked away, just past the line of sight.

A fantastic example of this is the Shield Rod in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. The aforementioned Rod can be acquired about a quarter of the way through the game, and on its own merely seems like a neat weapon. However, equipping it in conjunction with a shield will allow you to- by pressing both attack buttons simultaneously- to activate the shield’s hidden power at the cost of magic points.

Some shields are quite harmless- they may do nothing at all or merely provide a handy stat boost. Then you buy the Iron Shield for a few thousand dollars and discover that it, in conjunction with the vaunted rod, serves to unleash unholy terror upon the enemies before you. Twin swords fly forth and raze the landscape in a moment of glorious triumphs!

Which means anything dies. Anything. Even bosses.

And this is the less tame example. Aside from several other, admittedly less easy to acquire, shields with similar combat abilities, the later half of the game allows you to reacquire equipment that was stripped from Alucard early on, including the namesake Alucard Shield.

When combined with the rod and activated, the mere act of holding the shield outward and touching an enemy with it will ravage their meager HP stores and modestly heal the dhampir hero in the process. The damage dealt is absurd for such a passive attack and none, even Dracula himself, will survive.

The worst sin about this exploit is that it bypasses the need for any skill in what is argued to already be an unusually easy game for an otherwise challenging series. With the Alucard Shield you no longer even need to know how to fight- only to jump.

Another piece of equipment- though comparatively far less menacing- is the reaper blade in the first Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the original X-Box.

Part of the beauty of the first title- if only for fans such as me- is that it made one appreciate the art of the Slaying of the Vampyres. That said, it wasn’t easy. You had to beat the crap out of one, make sure you had enough clearance (read: nothing else trying to beat the crap out of you) and inject them with a dose of lethal splinterage.

Then, partway through the game, Giles gives Buffy a double-edged hand-blade which can be used in normal attacks, has no breaking threshold, and decapitates with reckless abandon.

Anything I fight with the reaper blade dies. Horribly. If things didn’t turn to dust all around me, heads would be everywhere. As things to do turn to dust I’m left with large piles of dust a couple feet apart from much smaller piles of dust.

It’s not that the weapon’s not fun to use- in fact, I wish I could use it in earlier levels- it’s just that it seems like it was placed into the game without consideration of the damage it would do to the play-balance. It feels like it should be powered up first or have a cool-down meter.

Instead it just kills. And kills. And kills.

Game-breaking needn’t be limited to conventional equipment, of course. Final Fantasy VI has a game-breaker that trumps all.

In FFVI, the characters can start learning magic. Among the first spells provided are the seemingly unrelated Vanish and Doom.

Doom (now called Death in the current games) theoretically kills something instantly, except it never works. Vanish makes something disappear- you can’t hit it with attacks, but magic works 100% of the time on it.

You see where this is going?

With the exception of some undead dragon, every boss in the game short of the final boss could be Vanish/Doomed (and it’s possibly that the final boss could be and I’m just forgetting, so spare me). Bosses with powerful techniques, masses of HP and devastating attacked could be rendered invisible and promptly beaten like kittens in a potato sack.

The Vanish/Doom trick is a staple FFVI’s design, like some sort of ultimate dirty trick. Exploits like this and the rod, and weapons like the Shield Rod and the reaper blade don’t necessarily ruin the games where they can be found, but they invariably subvert the intended experience.

The games are still fun, but are they perhaps less fun? Part of the joy of challenge is using skill and technique to overcome an obstacle. While there is something to be said for a power rush of overcoming a series of foes with great ease, in the end you’re just charging forward with your shield out, and if that becomes all you’re doing, it becomes less and less about developing a skill (however frivolous it may be) and more about taking the absolute path of least resistance. If one is going to take the easiest way out of every available problem, is a game really still worth playing at that point?

Wow, you can REALLY tell when a movie is from Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer can you not?

Every part of the sets, locations, etc., look pristine even the “dirty” places, the trailer attacks us with so much relentless action that has 0% real violence or even danger for that matter, but 100% meet-cuteness and a buckload of fake heroism.  Also everything is so theme park ready that you can just see the merchandise a mile away.  Even if it is calculated commercialism, I won’t mind it as long as it is fun.  So taking it from all the other franchises it has been concocted from, it has a 50/50 chance of landing on the side of enjoyable popcorn.  We’ll see.

♥ “Mammoth”

In this indie movie, Gael Garcia Bernal (“Y Tu Mama Tambien”) and Michelle Williams (“Brokeback Mountain”) play a couple whose lives start unraveling when Bernal flirts with infidelity on a business trip in Thailand.

The story also focuses on their live-in Filipino nanny, which is exciting since very few Filipino actors breakthrough in Hollywood. “Mammoth” even features subtitles for the actors speaking the Tagalog language. With more than 1,000 votes on IMDb.com, the film has received a 7 out of 10 rating.

♥ “Salt”

This espionage thriller was originally set to have a male lead, but when Tom Cruise (“Collateral”) dropped out of the project, the role was re-written for Angelina Jolie (“Girl, Interrupted”), naturally. Jolie is Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent, who is framed for a plot to murder the president. She must prove her innocence while on the run from authorities. Leaps unto buses ensue.

Jake Gyllenhaal (“Jarhead”) stars in this adaptation of a video game where he, along with a princess (Gemma Arterton from “Quantum of Solace”), must stop a villain from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world.

It sounds lame when you put it like that, but from the trailers, it looks like the film has a good dose of comedy. It’s even produced by powerhouse Jerry Bruckheimer (“Pirates of the Carribean”). Sir Ben Kingsley (“Gandhi”) and Alfred Molina (“Spider-man 2″) also star. Lionsgate and Relativity Media previously released a trailer for “Brothers,” which I posted here. This is the second trailer of the drama, which stars Tobey Maguire (“Spider-man”), Natalie Portman (“Closer”) and Gyllenhaal.  It’s better if you view it without reading a synopsis first, so take a look:

It’s based on Cormac McCarthy’s novel which tells of the end of the world. Hardly anyone is left but Viggo Mortensen (“A History of Violence”), Charlize Theron (“North Country”) and their son, newcomer Kodi Smit-McPhee. Guy Pearce (“Memento”) and Robert Duvall co-star. Dimension Films has also released two trailers for this Oscar contender. They are distinctly different as one is more dreary than the other. Disney is going back to its roots with this animated movie. Beating the likes of singers Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys, Anika Rose (“Dreamgirls”) as well as Terrence Howard (“Hustle and Flow”) and John Goodman (“Coyote Ugly”) voice the characters. A teaser trailer and full trailer below:

Here’s a film that’s been kept under wraps so much so that all IMDb.com states is this: “Corporations have developed a technology to enter dreams to extract information from certain people’s heads. A CEO (Leonardo DiCaprio) enters dreams and things begin to escalate, taking a turn for the worst.”

The buzz surrounding “Inception” is mostly due to its director, Christopher Nolan, who also did “The Dark Knight” and “Memento.” However, I’m watching it for one of my favorite actresses, Ellen Page (“Juno”). Marion Cotillard (“The Diving Bell and the Butterfly”), Michael Caine (Miss Congeniality”), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“Brick”) and Cillian Murphy (“Batman Begins”) are in it as well.

Although it’s by the same people who brought us “The Bourne” movies, I think some would hesitate to watch it since it’s another war movie. Still, Matt Damon gives it some star power.

♥ “Invictus”

Damon is one hot commodity as he also stars in this Clint Eastwood film, otherwise known as an Oscar contender. Based on a true story, Damon plays the captain of a rugby team who is enlisted by Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman) to win, thus, uniting the country. Prepare to hear Damon speak with a South African accent …

♥ “Gentlemen Broncos”

Some have have predicted that “Broncos” will be a cult hit, perhaps in the same vein as “Napoleon Dynamite.” (They have the same director.) “Broncos” is a comedy about a science fiction author who steals the idea of a student (Michael Angarano from “Will and Grace”) for his next book. Jennifer Coolidge (“Legally Blonde”) is also in the movie, playing Angarano’s mom.

♥ “A Single Man”

Colin Firth (“Bridget Jones’s Diary”) plays a gay man who tries to carry on after the death of his partner. Julianne Moore (“Children of Men”) joins Firth, who is a potential Oscar nominee. Based on Christopher Isherwood’s novel, I must say the trailer is pretty original. It eerily plays on with no words the entire time. The film itself received an 8.6 rating on IMDb.com.

♥ “New Moon”

As the second part in the “Twilight” saga, we find  Bella (Kristen Stewart) left to gather the pieces with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) since the vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) left her. This time around, Stewart finds herself among werewolves and vampire royalty, the Volturi.

♥ “The Book of Eli”

Denzel Washington (“Man on Fire”) stars in this action movie set in yet another future depicting the end of the world. To salvage what’s left, Washington has to protect a sacred book. Mila Kunis (“That ’70s Show”) co-stars.

♥ “Nowhere Boy”

I don’t know why, but this feels like the most refreshing trailer out of the bunch. ”Nowhere Boy” is John Lennon (newcomer Aaron Johnson) of The Beatles. It chronicles the band’s beginnings and Lennon’s life. Kristin Scott Thomas (“Life as a House”) is part of the supporting cast.

♥ “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus”

Perhaps better known as Heath Ledger’s (“The Dark Knight”) last film, Dr. Parnassus (Christopher Plummer) strikes a deal with the devil, trading in his daughter at the age of 16. Parnassus tries to rectify his mistake by offering his daughter’s hand in marriage to whoever can help him. Jude Law (“Closer”), Colin Farrell (“Minority Report”) and Johnny Depp (“Blow”) all stepped in to finish Ledger’s role.

♥ “When in Rome”

In this romantic comedy, Kristen Bell (“Forgetting Sarah Marshall”) takes some coins out of a fountain only to have the men who threw them in fall for her. The lovesick puppies include Josh Duhamel (“Transformers”), Will Arnett (“Blades of Glory”), Jon Heder (“Napoleon Dynamite”) and Bell’s real-life beau, Dax Shepard (“Baby Mama”).

Another Nicholas Sparks’s book, another movie adaptation. By now, I should know better than to fall for Sparks’s sap, but the trailer was enchanting. Channing Tatum (“Stop Loss”) and Amanda Seyfried (“Nine Lives”) fall in love, but Tatum, a soldier, has to return to war. *Tear*

♥ “Pirate Radio” (aka “The Boat that Rocked”)

Richard Curtis, the man behind the darling “Love Actually,” brings a new movie to the big screen. The film already has more than 11,000 voters rating it 7.6 out of 10 stars. “Radio” is a comedy about DJs who air their show on the high seas. Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman (“Doubt”) joins the ensemble cast.

♥ “The Messenger”

IMDb users give this movie 8.6 stars. “Messenger” centers on the soldiers, Woody Harrelson (“Zombieland”) and Ben Foster (“Alpha Dog”), who are tasked with notifying the loved ones of their fallen comrades. Things are complicated when Foster gets involved with a soldier’s widow. Acclaimed actresses, Samantha Morton (“Minority Report”) and Jena Malone (“Stepmom”), round out the cast.

This Tim Burton film hasn’t been released yet, but it’s already won an award. “Alice” was proclaimed the Most Anticipated Fantasy Film at the 2009 Scream Awards. If that still doesn’t convince you to see it, Oscar nominees Anne Hathaway (“Rachel Getting Married”) and Depp are in the movie.

And now Alladin and Sinbad are to be enacted in Hollywood, when Chuck Russell-maker of Mummy and The Scorpion King- reportedly plans a $70 m project based on One Thousand and One Nights, the collection of Middle Eastern Tales. The Arabian Nights has taken the names Alladin and his Magic Carpet, Sindad, Alibaba and 40 thieves to the hearts at every corner of the world. >>Read More

Like James McAvoy before him, The Gyllenhaal (I love him so much, he gets a The in front of his name like The Messiah or The Oprah) is back in action after a too-long hibernation— his last film in theaters was Rendition in 2007 (!!!). But now my blue-eyed boy is back with a vengeance, with three films slated for the next year. Okay, now when Gyllenhaal’s good, he’s great (Brokeback Mountain, Zodiac); when he’s bad, he’s Bubble Boy. Gyllenhaal’s next three movies tend to be a bit of the same— a mix of the drama roles he does so well, and the craptastic movies in between that help pay the bills (The Day After Tomorrow, anyone? Anyone? Bueller?).

First is a movie I posted about a while back: the Jim Sheridan-directed drama Brothers, a remake of the 2004 Danish film Brødre. Gyllenhaal plays Tommy, the deadbeat brother of a marine (Tobey Maguire). When his brother goes missing overseas during a tour of duty in Afghanistan, Tommy begins cozying up to his sister-in-law (Natalie Portman) back home. Of course, Sam is really alive, comes home to find his bro playing house with his lady, and drama ensues. The film also stars Sam Shepherd, Mare Winningham, Carey Mulligan, Clifton Collins Jr, etc. Kind of excited about this one; Maguire and Gyllenhaal are often up for the same parts so it’ll be interesting to see them butt heads in this film; I personally think Gyllenhaal and Maguire are best at their most angst-filled. The film is due out December 4th, but check out the trailer below:

The next Gyllenhaal film due out this year is the excitingly titled Nailed. Unfortunately, this movie will not feature Gyllenhaal as a porn star, in various stages of undress and positions. Instead, it’s a politically minded romantic comedy. Starring Jessica Biel. Fail.

Apparently, Biel stars as a woman who accidentally gets a nail lodged in her head. She goes to D.C. to get better health care, and falls in love with a young senator (Gyllenhaal). The film also stars James Marsden, Catherine Keener, Tracy Morgan, Kirstie Alley, Paul “Pee Wee” Ruebens, and Mr. Barbra Streisand himself James Brolin, as a senator who chokes on a cookie. Uh, yeah. The plot sounds like it was cooked up in a crackhouse, but Gyllenhaal’s pretty comfortable with quirk (see: Donnie Darko, Moonlight Mile, The Good Girl) so hopefully this won’t suck as bad as it sounds.

The last is Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (which, after Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, is pretty much the worst title of the year). Now, this movie has some things working against it: first, it’s yet another film adaptation of a video game, and, let’s face it, most video game movies suck (I’m looking at you Max Payne). Second, the trailer is awful. It looks like Pirates of the Caribbean stranded in Persia. Third, don’t get me wrong, I love me a British accent as much as the next anglophile but I don’t like it much on Gyllenhaal. Combined with the hair, I just keep thinking how much Colin Farrell should be in this movie instead. However, there are some goodies: the supporting cast is nice with Alfred Molina, Ben Kingsley, and Gemma Arterton (Quantom of Solace, RocknRolla). Plus, if it really blows, you can just tune out everything and focus solely on The Gyllenhaal’s abs/arms/body part of your choice. My bet is Prince will be for Gyllenhaal what Troy was for Brad Pitt- an awesomely bad big-budget action movie that will have people focusing more on his pecs than the plot. Oh well, I’ll wait till it hits DVD, and then I’ll watch it at home. On mute. Alone. With a large bottle of wine.

Yes, this one I do think is “sweet” (albeit a bit weak in parts).  But, after reading a lot of posts out on movie sites I frequent, it seems a large majority of people out there just aren’t liking this new trailer.  Watching the first longer trailer and this shorter ( International) one for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, I want to suggest that everyone step back, take a deep breath and stop hating for one moment.  As is common with the initial trailer, much of what you’re seeing is not completely finished or even guaranteed to be in the final product.  Sure trailers usually look like crap when they first come out but while I don’t think this has Oscar written all over it, it doesn’t look horrible either.  Let’s give this a chance to develop.  So for those of you who haven’t see it yet, have a look, and those of you who have, I ask you to give this a second try…

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time follows a prince who must stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world.  It is directed by English director Mike Newell, of Donnie Brasco, Pushing Tin, Mona Lisa Smile, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire previously. The screenplay was co-written by Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard (The Uninvited, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice) and the story was developed by Jordan Mechner, one of the original creators of the video game.

Now just because something looks like crap in the trailer doesn’t mean it won’t be enjoyable.  Remember about 5 years ago when Disney was developing a movie about one of their “rides” and everyone went ape-shit saying it would fail?  Well Pirates of the Caribbean turned out to be very fun (and successful).  The same could be said for this year’s G.I.Joe: The Rise of Cobra.  I would also like to remind some of you out there that just because this film takes place in the desert doesn’t not warrant the “Mummy rip-off” comments I have been reading lately.  Here’s some other movies involving the “desert” that had nothing to do with The Mummy or Brendan Fraser: Raiders of the Lost Arc, The Last Crusade, Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, Tremors, The Wind and the Lion, Gunga Din, The Four Feathers…shall I continue??

Now this movie may bomb, nose dive, take your pick of synonyms equivalent to FAIL but hey,  it’s a trailer.  Plus given that this is a video game adaptation (not totally in it’s favor) I can see where all the pessimism comes from.  Trailers really are funny things (read my post for a whole ’soap box’ rant) and people are even going crazy thinking Avatar will be crap, but we just need to sit back and see what happens.  Disney premiers Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in theaters on May 28th, 2010 .  What do you all think?  Anyone still betting on it’s failure?  Anyone moderately excited or willing to give it a chance??

Director of the Mummy spin-off The Scorpion King signs up to give a new spin to the classic characters of One Thousand and One Nights

It introduced the world to such exotic characters as Aladdin, Sinbad, and Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves. Now Hollywood has set its heart on bringing Arabian Nights to the big screen, according to Variety.

Chuck Russell, director of the Mummy spin-off The Scorpion King, is reportedly planning a $70m (£42m) new spin which unites Aladdin and Sinbad on a mission that you wouldn’t find in the original collection of Middle Eastern tales known as One Thousand and One Nights.

According to the synopsis, storyteller Scheherazade needs rescuing after being kidnapped by “dark powers” which have murdered her husband, King Shahryar. Russell has co-written the screenplay with newcomer Barry Ambrose.

“Through the use of a new generation of visual technologies, we will be able to quite literally take audiences around the world on a magic carpet ride,” Russell said.

The project is announced at a time when Hollywood appears to be showing a renewed interest in Middle Eastern fantasy. Videogame adaptation Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, from the production team behind the Pirates of the Caribbean series, is due in cinemas in May. The big-budget production stars Jake Gyllenhaal as the titular hero, alongside Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley.

Se aprecia la mano de los productores de Piratas del Caribe, y al menos a mi me ha dejado un buen sabor de boca.  Mas que a Prince of Persia, me trae recuerdos  del videojuego Assassin’s Creed (mucho manejo del bullet time en tomas panorámicas). Me ha convencido Jake Gyllenhaal en el papel principal, se nota que tuvo que dedicarse a un duro entrenamiento físico para dicha interpretación, aunque habrá que esperar hasta finales de mayo (28 de mayo estreno en EEUU, en España no tiene fecha confirmada) para poder hablar con mayor propiedad. En cuanto al peso argumental de la historia, puede que no difiera tanto del último video juego de esta famosa franquicia, ya que los  creadores del mismo (entre ellos Jordan Mechner) compartieron créditos a la hora de construir el guión.

Pues eso, os dejamos el trailer de lo que sin duda se va a covertir en la nueva super franquicia de Jerry Bruckheimer, esta vez en castellano. No os entretengo más. Sin más dilación aquí teneís el trailer.

A Walt Disney Pictures divulgou o primeiro trailer de Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time, adaptação para o cinema do famoso game. Se você é fã do jogo vai gostar muito do vídeo, assista abaixo:

Apesar do visual ter ficado idêntico ao game, seja da locação, a narração e claro as famosas acrobacias do personagem principal. Não conseguiu me convencer, não adianta fazer um filme igual ao jogo e que não traga nada de novo, com uma história sem graça e um show de falta de talento do elenco.

Depois de assistir ao trailer fiquei ainda mais convencido que foi uma pessíma escolha a de Jake Gyllenhaal como o protagonista da história, claro que sua beleza vai atrair o público feminino, mas essa cara dele de bebê chorão não convence com a personalidade do personagem dos games.

Na trama, o vilão Nizam (Ben Kingsley) arma o assassinato do seu irmão Sharman, o rei de Pérsia  para poder assumir o trono, a culpa do assassinato cai sobre príncipe Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal), que junta forças com uma misteriosa e linda princesa (Gemma Arterton) para guardar uma adaga capaz de controlar as areias do tempo.

Dirigido por Mike Newell (Harry Potter eo Cálice de Fogo), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time estréia no dia 28 de maio de 2010.

Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a street urchin in 6th century Persia. After showing valor in battle, he is adopted by the king as his heir, so the king’s two sons will not fight over the throne. He teams up with Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) to rescue the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that controls time, from the hands of the villainous nobleman, Nizam (Ben Kingsley).

Jupp, ganz genau. Der Film ‘Prince of Persia’ glänzt mit einem neuen Trailer. Und obwohl ich anfangs noch skeptisch gegenüber Jake Gyllenhaal war, muss ich zugeben, daß er mir in diesem Trailer doch ganz gut gefällt. Das der Gegenpart von Ben Kingsley verkörpert wird, ist auch ein gutes Zeichen. Aber mehr als ein belustigendes Stück Popkornkino wird wohl nicht daraus werden. Aber seien wir doch mal ehrlich (jedenfalls die, die das Spiel gespielt haben)…wollen wir das nicht genau so?

This trailer for the upcoming Prince of Persia movie is actually looking pretty good! I only hope they have enough material left to make the movie worth watching as well.

This is another attempt by Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer to create another Pirates of the Caribean type franchise.  This is probably their best bet.  This one is based on the series of games.  The games have always been very popular and for good reason.  Ubisoft has never let the game get old.  They keep on refreshing the series.  The newest game was totally different, light on story, but heavy on style.  This movie seems to have borrowed the style from the newest game and the story from the best game.  The trailer explains the story, it seems quite different from the game, but that’s not a bad thing (there are more humans in the movie).

The cast seems quite good.  I was very concerned when I heard that Jake Gyllenhaal was going to play the prince.  But once they started releasing pictures of him my worries were gone.  I was very excited when I heard that Gemma Arterton was playing the other lead.  I loved her in James Bond, even if she was only in for a few seconds.  Ben Kingsley will make an interesting villain, hopefully he doesn’t overdo it.

Disney y Jerry Bruckheimer Films nos ofrecen su visión del Príncipe de Persia.Jake Gyllenhall será el príncipe y Gemma Arterton la misteriosa princesa.Aún queda tiempo para su estreno,27 de Mayo del 2010,pero ya podemos disfrutar de este trailer avance.

Prince of Persia the sands of time

El trailer oficial de esta increíble película por fin esta aquí, Prince of Persia se estrenara el verano de 2010 y será dirigida por Mike Newell (Harry Potter y el cáliz de fuego) y estará inspirada en la saga de las arenas del tiempo como su nombre lo indica, se ve bastante bien, esperemos sea otro de esos caso raros en los que se hace una buena transición entre el juego y la película (maldito Mario Bros y Street Fighter) aquí les dejo el trailer.

Sin city 2 y 3

A finales de 2010 comenzará el rodaje de lo que sería la 2da y la 3ra parte de Sin City, si bien la primera estaba inspirada en la novela gráfica de Frank Miller, para estas películas el artista esta comenzando a elaborar una nueva historia. De nueva cuenta Robert Rodríguez volverá a  co-dirigir esta cinta, aún no es nada seguro pero se habla de la participación de actores tales como, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Antonio Banderas o Jhonny Depp; Frank Miller también confirmo la adaptación de otra de sus obras titulada Hard Boiled, donde un recaudador de impuestos descubre que es en realidad un robot (wtf),  sin embargo Miller señala que tiene prioridad en Sin City, estaremos al tanto de lo que sucede con este film.

Assassins Creed Lineage

Ya se que me tardé, pero por fin tuve tiempo de postearles la primera parte de una serie de cortos en conmemoración de la próxima salida de Assassins Creed 2, la verdad se ve muy bien, recordemos que detrás de ésta estuvo a cargo el estudio que realizó “300″.

Bueno, pues fueron dos películas por parte de Ubi Soft, ambas se ven bastante bien (aunque una fue producida por Disney XD) ojalá les haya sido útil este post, cuídense y paz.

Y recuerden: Antes sufría de amnesia, ahora no me acuerdo de que.
