I’ll start by saying that I’m not sure how this game is rated M and contains nudity unless I skipped a vital part of the game (which is… possible).

Moving on, I enjoyed this game immensely. It makes you just the right amount of nervous without leaving you shaking and exhausted every time you play. I won’t go into detail explaining the whole game story since it will be pretty evident if you’ve heard of the two games that preceded it, and it’s not really all that relevant. This is the third and final in the Sands of Time game arc. There are multiple hidden rooms (and I missed about half of them I think) and rarely is there a place to heal which makes playing more strategic. The game is based on strategic jumps and kills (there are very few times where you actually have to outright kill an entire room). There is almost always a way to execute a stealth speed kill system on everyone in the room, but it has to be timed perfectly or you’ll end up fighting pretty much everyone. There is also the random (although not so random if you’re paying attention) scripted transformation into Dark Prince in which you are constantly losing health which can only be regained through sand (killing or getting it from pots). These parts of the game are more challenging of course since you are constantly on the brink of death.

Everyone should play each level (easy, medium, hard) if only for the secret weapon at the end of each game (All I have to say is Telephone of Sorrow). Not to mention that the game plays pretty quickly so you may feel compelled (as I was) to play again just to make it seem longer!

And yes, I play older video games. I think it’s more fun that way rather than always getting the freshest thing out there only to be disappointed and out a lot of cash!

Esse é para os fãs da franquia Prince of Persia. Confira abaixo um comercial, bem tosco mas divertido, feito para o game Prince of Persia – The Two Thrones, que é mais um dos muitos clássicos lançados para o PlayStation 2:

Prince of Persia: Two Thones, finalmente o ultimo capitulo dessa triologia para ps2!

Os fatos ocorridos até agora(PoP: Sands of Time e PoP: Warriors Within) se reunem até esse ponto. Onde o principe volta para babilonia, achando que conseguiu mudar seu futuro. Mas seu destino o persegue, e mais uma vez as areais do tempo estão no seu caminho.

Neste titulo o principe tem uma segunda personalidade, que é o monstro de areia, que o incopora e quer dominar o seu corpo. 

O enredo dessa historia é muito boa, mas com algumas falhas na união de todos os enredos PoP. Apesar de serem poucas falhas, ao meu ver, são muito importantes.

PoP:TT teve o acumulo de features dos outros PoPs. Voltar no tempo, Andar pelas paredes, acrobacias, combates que podem ter varios finais… o que adicionaram nesse titulo foi o modo assassino, é quando vc pega seu inimigo pelas costas desprevinido. É Muito legal, pois não é só apertar um botam, vc deve apertar todas vez que o personagem vai dar um ataque no modo assasino.

Tive ódio com quantas vezes precisei usar as areias do tempo pra desfazer uma merda do tipo: “Quero andar na parede na vertical” e o jogo interpreta como na horizontal, e virce-versa. Mas é questão de pegar a manha! kkk

Enredo : 8

Enredo muito bom, mas no final achei um pouco desenpolgante, foi reaproveitado muita coisa do MGS e algumas coisas ficaram… viajadas demais.

IA : 7

A IA é de bom nivel, oferece uma dificuldade rasoavel.

Total : 7,8

Um ótimo jogo, ou… uma ótima série. Recomendo toda a série! Uma ótima historia com poucos erros e uma experiencia ótima.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is the last game in the Sands of Time series. This game is a great closing to the series. It has the same great environmental puzzles from the last two games, a good campaign, stealth kills, and fun and challenging boss fights. It also has great cinematics that tells good parts of the story, and the conflict of the Prince. For people that want to start playing this series, start from the beginning otherwise you will get lost in the storyline. Overall, this one of the best games to play around.

+ Same great environmental puzzles you loved from the first two games

+ Lengthy, well-paced campaign

+ Speed kills keep the action moving

# Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones Cheat Codes

Hey guys,

As the title suggests, there is going to be a new Prince Of Persia game, which will be the fourth one with the “Prince Of Persia” title. (Not counting the original one from the 80s) I’m actually very excited for this one. I played 2 out of the last 3 “PoP” (Prince of Persia) games and those were some of my favorite games for the last generation.

I do have a few concerns…

First of all, it’s been a while since the last one came out and I’m wondering if they did that on purpose to try to have a “fresh start”. I’d hate to see Ubisoft throw aspects of the old game out the window.

Another thing is the setting. This game is supposed to be a prequel to Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time. With that said, I’m expecting the Dagger Of Time, which is a weapon which allows you to rewind events, in real time. Without that ability, there’s gonna have to be something amazing to compensate.

Also, I’m not entirely sure of the character himself. If it is the same prince who has appeared in the other games in the franchise that would be great, but to me it looks like a new guy. There’s also a replacement for Farah as “the ally”. I don’t have any problems with change, but my issue is they messed with a good thing.

I hope all the new ideas mesh well together and this game delivers. It would be a shame for this game to fall victim to the Prince Of Persia low sales curse. The series never seemed to get the recognition it deserved.

Since I mentioned Prince of Persia, I’ve got to remind you that there is a movie coming out sometime in the future starring Jake Gyllenhaal as the prince.

I’m gonna go see it, but the Sands Of Time and Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones fan in me is going to be critical. As much as I want to see that movie succeed too, I’m expecting something along the lines of The Mummy or The Scorpion King.

I guess we’ll see how correct I was… one day.

The Prince of Persia movie may have been pushed to 2010, but his highness’ loyal subjects won’t have to wait quite so long for another glimpse of the acrobatic monarch-in-waiting. Ubisoft today announced a worldwide early December shipping date for the game on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The publisher will ship Prince of Persia to North American retailers on December 2, followed by Europe, the Middle East, and Africa on December 4. In the UK, gamers will have to wait slightly longer, with the game going out December 5. The game marks a new beginning for the franchise, which hasn’t had a major installment released since 2005’s Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones wrapped up the Sands of Time trilogy. The series revamp features a new Prince with a new art style, as well as new gameplay mechanics. Players will work their way through the game with the aid of Elika, an acrobatic match for the Prince who helps him fight a corrupting force sweeping the land.

Every year, the Entertainment Software Association updates its industry facts and figures to underline just how widespread gaming is in the United States. According to this year’s update, 65 percent of American households play games. That number will likely skyrocket in the coming years if a newly released Pew Internet Project report is anything to go by. Researchers recently surveyed 1,102 teenagers and found that 97 percent of those aged 12-17 played video games in some form, with 99 percent of boys responding affirmatively, compared to 94 percent of girls. There are a lot of frequent players as well, as half of the respondents said they’d played games in the past day. As one might expect, the tastes of those 97 percent of teens who game are wide-ranging. Racing games had the most widespread popularity of any genre, with 74 percent of teens admitting to playing them. The puzzle genre was close behind with 72 percent, followed by sports (68 percent), action (67 percent), and adventure (66 percent). Interestingly, Rhythm games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band were played by just 61 percent of respondents, only slightly higher than the strategy genre, which includes hardcore gaming staples like Starcraft and Command and Conquer. However, when asked for three favorite titles, the most commonly responded titles were (in order) Guitar Hero, Halo 3, Madden NFL, Solitaire, and Dance Dance Revolution. The least popular genres listed were survival horror (32 percent), massively multiplayer online games (21 percent), and virtual worlds like Second Life or Habbo Hotel (10 percent). Pew also surveyed parents of teens to gauge their attitudes toward gaming, and found that most parents were actually ambivalent on gaming’s impact on their kids. Some 62 percent of respondents said games didn’t affect their kids, with 19 percent believing them to be a positive influence, and 13 percent considering them a negative influence. Just 5 percent of parents said gaming could be either positive or negative, depending on the game in question.

Flush with victory after learning that Guitar Hero had made us better than Metallica, we’ve already begun the hunt for our next conquest. Ahh, we see a challenger approaching through the mist, is that … oh, crap, is that Jimi Hendrix? If Slash is to be believed, Activision is busy crafting an all-Hendrix version of the franchise to (presumably) follow up Guitar Hero World Tour. The mono-monikered musician told Rolling Stone, “Well, having the Aerosmith guys do it was very cool ’cause Aerosmith’s one of the bands I was heavily influenced by. And Metallica’s doing it, that’s great. Those are two ones that I think gives it some credibility. And they’re doing a Hendrix one, which is great.” Assuming that this is one of the few times in life where the phrase, “if Slash is to be believed,” is followed by a fact, we’ll take this opportunity to remind you that setting plastic guitars on fire is a terrible, terrible idea.

EA has announced that its parkour, rebellion and delivery girl simulator, Mirror’s Edge, will release November 11 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Giving credence to the rumors already floating around, the PC version of the game is now confirmed for “later in the winter.” EA also confirmed that a demo will be available featuring “the tutorial” and a scene from the single-player campaign. Those who pre-order at “select retailers” after September 26 will receive a code that unlocks “Time Trial” in the demo. Hopefully, the game will be delivered on time watch the rooftops! Note that the pre-order incentive’s staring date may not necessarily be the release date of the demo. Upon contacting EA for a specific date, Joystiq was told, “The pre-order initiative begins on September 26th and the demo will be out before the game ships, as the press release sent this morning states.”
