Na stronie firmy SPL dostępna jest wersja beta wtyczki Vitalizer MK2-T pracująca pod kontrolą systemów Windows i Mac OS X  w formatach VST2.4, VST3, AU, RTAS i TDM/Venue. Do jej uruchomienia potrzebny jest klucz iLok.

Vitalizer MK2-T bazuje na algorytmie wykorzystującym psychoakustykę do obróbki sygnałów audio, a opracowanym przez inżynierów SPL – Wolfganga Neumanna i Hermanna Giera. Nokia N920 va fi, din toate informatiile aparute, urmasul lui N900 si va avea in mare parte caracteristicile acestuia. Sunt prezente si upgrade-urile cu care orice nou telefon este dator.

N920 renunta la tastatura QWERTY in favoarea unui touchscreen atotputernic de 4.13 inch care, se pare, va fi de tip capacitiv. Ar fi o premiera pentru Nokia, o premiera care trebuia sa se produca mult mai devreme.

La fel ca si N900, Nokia N920 face uz de sistemul de operare Maemo. Dar, spre deosibire de N900, noul dispozitiv ar trebui sa dispuna de versiunea 6. Ce va aduce nou aceasta, nu se stie inca. Nokia N920 ar trebui sa aiba in dotare urmatoarele: sistem de operare Maemo 6, procesor ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, touchscreen capacitiv de 4.13 inch, camera foto de 5 MP, spatiu intern de 32 GB, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, Bluetooth. Nu se stie exact data de lansare si nici pretul la care va fi comercializat.

Dupa multe anunturi, speculatii si informatii neoficiale, Intel se pregateste de o zi mare, 3 Ianuarie 2010, data la care vor lansa mai multe procesoare.

Unul dintre produsele ce urmeaza a fi lansate se numeste Atom N450, este un single-core pentru netbook-uri, are grafica integrata, lucreaza la 1.66 Ghz si pretul de lansare va porni de la 64$.

Un alt produs mult asteptat ce va fi lansat la aceeasi data se numeste Core i5 Dual Clarkdale. Este primul procesor de 32nm, iar din seria 6xx vom putea admira un Core i5 650 la frecventa de 3.2Ghz si pretul de 176$ si un Core i5 670 la o frecventa mai mare, de 3.46Ghz, si un pret de 284$.

Printre anunturile facute de Intel, ei au conturat si o temere de-a lor fata de viitori virusi ce ar putea fi creati pentru grafica integrata, grafica ce le intareste inca o pozitia de lideri in productia de procesoare.

Intel secara resmi memperkenalkan Core i7 untuk komputer jinjing alias laptop. Prosesor dengan nama kode Clarksfield ini disebut sebagai yang tercepat untuk platform mobile.

Intel memperkenalkan anggota keluarga Core i7 terbaru itu dalam Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2009 yang digelar di San Francisco, 22-24 September 2009. Terdapat tiga varian Core i7 yang diperkenalkan Intel dalam acara itu, Core i7 920XM, Core i7 820QM dan Core i7 720QM.

Shmuel ‘Mooly’ Eden, Vice President dan General Manager Mobile Platforms Group, Intel Corporation, mengatakan Core i7 pada laptop diperuntukkan bagi mereka yang menginginkan komputer performa tinggi untuk dibawa-bawa.

Fitur andalan Core i7 untuk laptop tersebut adalah Turbo Boost dan Hyper Threading. Turbo Boost memungkinkan kecepatan prosesor meningkat drastis apabila ada core yang sedang tidak digunakan.

Dalam demonstrasinya, Intel menunjukkan kecepatan Core i7 920 XM 2.0 GHz yang bisa meningkat hingga 3.0 GHz. Peningkatan kecepatan terjadi dalam proses seperti batch editing foto atau aplikasi lainnya yang hanya menjalankan satu core.

Core i7 untuk perangkat mobile merupakan bagian dari mikroarsitektur Nehalem yang telah lebih dulu menyentuh jajaran desktop dan server.

Dalam IDF Intel juga mendemonstrasikan generasi penerus Core i7 Mobile. Mikroprosesor dengan nama kode Arrandale itu nantinya akan mengadopsi mikroarsitektur Westmere dan proses produksi 32nm. (detik)

Avem mai jos o noua inventie. Tumora pentru calculator. Am zis bine. O TUMORA. Cand toata lumea isi doreste sa nu aiba asa ceva, altii cred ca e o necesitate pentru calculatoare. Care este scopul ei? Aparent aceasta tumora se umfla si se dezumfla in functie de cat de folosit este procesorul calculatorului. Care este utilitatea ei? Habar nu am. Avem mai jos tumora in actiune .

Desi nu sunt tocmai in lumina reflectoarelor, cei de la Palm au prezentat in

aceste zile un nou produs cu un nume mai ciudat, “Pixi”, care aduce numeroase imbunatatiri fata de modelele precedente.

Intre specificatii mentionam chipset de la Qualcomm “MSM7627” care are doua nuclee ARM, unul de 600 de MHz cu rol de procesor de aplicatii si un procesor pentru modem la viteza de 400 de MHz care poate interveni pentru a-l degreva pe primul in cazul suprasolicitarii.

In plus, Pixi va avea un procesor la 200 de MHz OpenGL 2.0 pentru jocuri, si inca o unitate separata de procesare DSP pentru aplicatiile multimedia cu o viteza de 320 de MHz, care face posibila codarea si decodarea video WVGA la 30 de cadre pe secunda.

Intre alte specificatii ale lui Palm Pixi amintim 8GB de stocare interna, tastatura full QWERTY si un ecran capacitiv de 2.63 de inci cu rezolutia de 320×400, in timp ce pretul de pornire cu abonament al acestui model este de 149 de dolari americani.

OS Choices

Anyways, lets get started on this article. The G51vx is a quick machine that starts up in under ten seconds and gets you connected to the internet in under five more. This laptop features a fast-startup mode due to a secondary linux OS called “splashtop”. The secondary linux OS features a browser, skype, mail, and a music player. While I do not wish to be trivial, the linux mode is not very necessary, unless one simply requires a quick boot and nothing else. It should be noted that under the quick-boot mode, the pc operates at a slower speed than when everything is fully booted.

Design and Keyboard

Next I would like to talk about the laptop in general. The outside is white and in the upper center of the lid a logo of robotic origin resides. Look at the pictures to get the real feel of this. The inside of the laptop is all black, with chicklet style buttons on the keyboard. The keyboard itself feels sort of different too, since I am used to a full regular key keyboard. The other item is that this keyboard has a full number pad on the right, which I also feel is unnecessary. Asus could have added larger keys, but I am already getting used to the whole layout. The keyboard also features a backlit option, so for those of you who need to look at the keyboard to type (no offense), the light is there for you.

Gaming Performance

As it is marketed, the Asus G51vx is a gaming machine targeted towards, you guessed it, the gaming audience! As it is, I ran a few benchmarks and the results are as follows. I myself do not have 3dmark06, but according to forums, other owners have posted scores ranging from 8k-9k with stock settings.

On games, performance was always phenomenal, but on CPU-intensive games, performance was a tad lower than usual. For example, whilst playing Mirror’s Edge, I was able to turn up the settings to full, with V-sync on as well. The game played fluently for my two hour long gaming sprees. However, with Team Fortress 2, a more CPU intensive game, my fps decreased so I had to disable AA to get a decent frame rate above the fourties. Older games like Counterstrike Source worked flawlessly, usually racking up 120+ fps on full everything. Half-life 2 and all of its sequels ran at full detail fluently for my long gaming events. I must exclaim that Mirror’s Edge is the best looking game ever! With its vivid colors and beautiful city, the game looks amazing on this laptop. I was blown away by this machine’s output.

Crysis, the gamer’s current benchmark, plays at full detail at 20-40 fps on stock drivers. However, according to forums, the laptop can overheat while playing this game on full detail, so a laptop cooler is a must for a notebook with a GTX 260M inside.

In the future, I forecast that this laptop will be able to play most of the games on full detail until the middle of 2011, when some crazy new GPU architecture will force this beast down. Currently I am waiting for Assassin’s Creed 2, Left for Dead 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and the Star Wars Online RPG.

Is it Worth it?

YES! This laptop has what every gamer needs to play games for the next two and a half years! You will not find many other laptops with this graphics card and this price point. Other systems to look at would be the Gateway P-7805u or the Asus G71GX, if you are into larger screens. Personally, being a college student, I bought this so I could do my work and relax when I had nothing to do. This laptop will last me the next five or so years.

Update: I just tested the laptop temperatures with a TARGUS laptop cooler and without. It seems the cooler doesn’t really help the laptop temps, except for the hard drive.

In configuratia sa regasim un procesor Intel Core 2 Duo din seria Extreme deocamdata necunoscut, doua placi video Nvidia GTX280M, pana la 8GB de memorie RAM DDR3, pana la 3 hard-discuri sau unitati SSD pentru stocare si optional, o unitate optica Blu-Ray.
Si displayul sau este deosebit, are 18,4 inci si o rezolutie bineinteles Full HD (1920×1080), si a fost deja pus in vanzare pentru cei care sunt dispusi sa plateasca atat pentru el.

HARD DISK:

Zagonetka – veliki su (nekada su bili daleko veći), spori su, greju se, ranije su bili jako bučni, nikada nisu dovoljnog kapaciteta, svaki kompjuter mora imati bar jedan i nikako ne možemo bez njih. U njima se nalaze sve jedinice i nule ovog sveta a potrebne su nam.

Tokom 50ih godina njihov kapacitet je bio samo nekoliko megabajta na ploči od 50 cm u prečniku. Da biste shvatili kako uopste ovaj deo funkcioniše, potrebno je otvoriti hard disk. To vam NE preporučujemo jer time gubite garanciju. Hard disk uglavnom čini zatvorena kutija od aluminijuma sa elektronikom zakačenom za jednu stranu koja okreće ploče unutar hard diska.

Ploče se u roku od 1 minuta okrenu između 5 000 i 15 000 puta. Najsitniji kontakt čestice prašine i ploče može dovesti do trajnog oštećenja no to ne treba da vas brine ukoliko poslušate savet iznad. Verovatno ćete se pitati zašto se onda na hard disku nalazi otvor. On služi za izjednačavanje između spoljašnjeg i unutrašnjeg pritiska, a otvor je zaštićen filterom kroz koji čestice prašine ne mogu da prođu.

RAM MEMORIJA:

Ova memorija pre svega zavisi od električnog napona koji se konstantno osvežava. Da taj napon ne postoji, podaci ne bi ostajali u memoriji. Zbog toga kada isključimo kompjuter, podaci iz ram-a nestaju i ne mogu se vratiti.

Latencija (memorijsko kašnjenje) znatno utiče na kompjutere sa AMD procesorima. Ukoliko vaša matična ploča podržava uparivanje memorija, iskoristite to. Time ćete povećati memorijsku širinu i ram memorija više neće raditi na 64 već na 128 bita, time bi trebali udvostručiti performans mada se u praksi (pre svega pri zahtevnijim igrama) to vrlo često pokaže da nije slučaj.

Overklokovanje – najlakši način da ubrzate kompjuter bez dodatnog novca. Ukoliko ne znate da overklokujete procesor, pročitajte uputstvo ili pozovite nekog iskusnijeg. Obratite paznju na voltažu ram memorije da ne biste dobili specijalitet kuće – reš pečenu karticu. Istražujte i dajte sebi vremena da uskladite memoriju i procesor vašim prohtevima.

Intel a anuntat ca noua generatie de procesoare va folosi un branding mai simplificat: I3 (cel mai prost), I5 (nivelul de mijloc) si I7 (cel mai puternic). Desi fiecare brand va avea mai multe modele, sper sa fie mai usor de ales un procesor. La modelele curente nu stii decat ca ceva cu 400 e Celeron, daca incepe cu litera E atunci e dual core sau core2 duo si daca incepe cu Q e quad core sau core2 quad. Daca nu te uiti la specificatii nu poti sa-ti faci o parere concludenta despre cat de bun e.
