I’m both in awe of nature and envious. Imagine “knowing” that you will be able to fly and that you are about to experience it for the first time. I listened to a radio programme a while back (probably an episode of This American Life) where people were asked which superpower they would choose if they had the option — being able to fly or being able to be invisible. For me, it’s a no-brainer — imagine being able to spread your wings and take off! What could be greater than that?

A bit of research leads us to believe that it is a Willowherb Hawkmoth (although it isn't quite as green as the one shown here) or at least a very close relative.
