Taking out the paper to the recycling bin today, I came across this big moth, drying its wings, getting ready for its first flight. I’m both in awe of nature and envious. Imagine “knowing” that you will be able to fly and that you are about to experience it for the first time. I listened to a radio programme a while back (probably an episode of This American Life) where people were asked which superpower they would choose if they had the option — being able to fly or being able to be invisible. For me, it’s a no-brainer — imagine being able to spread your wings and take off! What could be greater than that?
