Brooklyn’s psych-pop foursome TOTAL SLACKER have teamed up with NYC cohorts FRIENDS on a split EP due out in July on Japanese label Sixteen Tambourines.

The bands cover each others material and while Friends recorded a version of Magical Date Night, Total Slacker return the compliment with a grungy take on Friend Crush.

Total Slacker don’t stop there though, with another single release scheduled for the summer and we’ll have that here on the blog tomorrow.
