December 2009: So it seems the PSP Go doesn’t have the appeal the PSP300 does. Even by reducing the number of PSP 3000 bundles produced is not winning the battle to coerce gamers or parents to buy a console restricted to download only games from PSN.

Several good PSP 3000 bundle were released in October: Invizimals, Harry Potter, Grand Turismo, Monster Hunter, LittleBigPlannet and Hannah Montana – but the chronic shortage manufactured as we enter Christmas THE BUSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR FOR CONSOLE SHOPPING, and they’re sold out of PSP 3000 bundles. 開箱開箱．．．

雖然說PSP-N1000，就是PSP Go 已經在10月1日在香港開賣，可是經濟不景氣，銷情都不怎理想，跟2005年當時經濟剛轉好時滿街都是黑色PSP-1000的情況可以說是差天共地。小的在開售大慨是20天去買的時候，還有首賣日禮品的存貨可以送給我．．．哎。在我的PS3兩歲生日的同時，作為Playstation Network早期用戶的我，倒想過用不了UMD該沒甚麼大問題反正小的用iso的年代經已不用UMD就直接開機了，算是習慣了沒有UMD的日子吧，幸好，不見了的那部PSP-2000都因為這樣沒有損失任何過一張UMD。

跟PSP-2000/3000的包裝盒故意顯出簿型設計相比，這次的設計卻沒有怎樣別出心裁打開了盒子之後只是發現甚麼東西都塞在一起，要拿出來都有相當難道和不便。

其實本來都不想取出盒子裡的東西，反正店員都給我看過充電插頭只是將普通家用電降壓和整流為USB電壓。可是呢．．．PSP Go用的可是專用接線，不得不取出來用。以後一條接線可以充PS3手制和PSP的日子不復再了。

弄出來了w　螢幕比一般PSP為窄，可是螢幕高卻沒有改變．．．就是說螢幕比例該調會到16:9了。

簿簿簿簿簿簿簿…..

花了好一段時間才找到螢幕亮度和聲音大小的按鍵。不過按下去才發現很不方便的說，因為要看得很清楚是甚麼按鍵才可以，而且按鍵太小，要準確按下可不容易。

一分為二後就可以更加看清楚機身是怎樣的簿，沒有了UMD牒機，只有SSD的確不同。而且跟PSP-2000的效果一樣，沒有了光牒機和PSP-1000機內的金屬底架，拿上手輕到不行了。

怎樣．．．一推去面蓋就自己開了機．．．喔，一打開就是遊戲都是存在內建16GB記憶

現在沒有了UMD牒機，那該怎樣辦呢？就是到PlayStation Store下載遊戲了，可以在PS3/PSP上登入PlayStation Store，或者在電腦安裝隨機附送的MediaGo軟件。

如果在PS3上下載的話，跟平時下載遊戲更新沒有分別。只是要注意的就是下載時間可能會很久（大約半小時），因為遊戲的確很大。下載了之後，就會儲存在PS3遊戲的資料夾，之後就可以經由USB線抄到PSP上。

哎．．．這樣下去，真的擔心空間所餘無幾．．．幸好還可以把遊戲存到記憶卡上或者是電腦內

其實PSP Go在非遊戲進行時合上外蓋會轉為只顯示時鐘和月曆的模式，有點像andriod的Night Clock程式，可是小的怎樣都找不到怎樣顯示數字鐘。

Esto sirve para emular la carga de backups (isos) en tu psp 3000. Es decir, no esta como en las anteriores psp, que estan “hackeadas” y ya rulan las isos de primeras, aqui lo que se hace es una emulacion

Y por ello, cada vez que apagues la consola, tienes que repetir el proceso otra vez. Por ello es mejor dejarlo en suspension, y cargando (o repetir todo, que se tarda 1 minuto)

Bien,, empezamos:

antes de empezar, debes tener esto:

1.REQUISITOS

- PSP 3000 (cargada 100%)
- Tener el firmware 5.03. Si no lo tienes, descargar AQUI.Instálalo copiando la carpeta UPDATE en la carpeta GAME, dentro de PSP (/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP). Luego vamos al juegos, memory stick, e instalais e firmware original, vamos como siempre
- Nnguna imagen en las carpetas PICTURE o PSP/PHOTO/.
- Ningún UMD dentro
- por si las moscas, restableced los ajustes predeterminados y poner el tema original.

2.Instalar el chicken

Esto es mediante un exploit en una imagen tiff
RECORDAD que esto lo teneis que hacer despues de actualizar al 5.03! si no no sale

- DESCARGA CHICKEN – AQUI
- Del archivo “ChickenHEN R2 – PSP SLIM y 3000″ descomprimelo y copia todo en la raíz de tu PSP, sobreescribiendo si se te pide.
- Vamos al menu de la PSP, y en foto, elegimos la memory stick >> chicken>> y vamos hasta la ultima foto (con las direcciones,, no apreteis la x ni nada simplemente situarse en ella)

Y pueden pasar 2 cosas:
A.- Que se ponga la pantalla verde y se reinicie. OK, se ha instalado
B.- Que se quede petao. Pues nada, a reiniciar a pelo, e intentarlo 20 veces hasta que salga (al final sale, que no cunda el panrico)
Si vais a “Información del Sistema”, os tendra que salir 5.03 ChickHEN R2 (si no sale eso, esque no esta instalado, a veces pone (full) despues, tambien esta bien)

3.Instalar 5.03 GEN-A

Descarga del 5.03 GEN-A –>> AQUI

Despues de instalar el firmware 5.03, y luego el chicken, pasamos a esto:

- Despues de instalar el chiken y sin apagar la PSP, conectamos la PSP por USB al PC y copiamos a la raíz de la tarjeta todos los archivos del GEN-A. Sobreescribir si se pide.
- Desconectamos el cable USB, y vamos en la PSP a Juegos Memory Stick, y ejecutamos Installer-Loader.
- Una vez dentro, pulsamos solamente para la primera vez L o R. Cuando termine de flashear pulsamos O.
- Vamos “Información del Sistema”, para ver 5.03 GEN-A y asegurarnos que ya esta.

Ya tenemos el 5.03 GEN-A, donde podrás ejecutar homebrew y backups.

NOTAS (de darkalex)

- Se recomienda que después de haber terminado, se elimine el archivo flasher.prx que se encuentra en PSP/GAME/GENA.
- No toquéis archivos de la flash, o causaréis un BRICK irreparable.
- Si apagas totalmente la PSP, tendrás que hacer de nuevo todo el proceso, desde el principio, incluyendo el HEN. Para no tener que hacerlo, basta simplemente con suspender la PSP, no apagándolo, ni quitar la batería, ni dejar que se descargue la batería.
- Si se apaga la PSP, tienes que hacerlo todo de nuevo, excepto en el punto 3 de la instalación del 5.03 GEN-A (momento de ejecutar el Installer-Loader), donde sólo tienes que pulsar O.
- Es normal que al ejecutar un backup salga el error 80020321, Para solucionarlo, pulsa Select para acceder al menu VSH, y en la opción UMD ISO Mode selecciona Sony NP9660.

One online shop reverted their decision to boycott stocking the console due to its digital download content only limitation. At Game Stock a decision was taken to give the PSP Go! a go. The PSP Go! console is out to pre-order now for release on 2nd Oct 2009, Game Stock has put together a page about the new console and how it compares to its predecessors.

The only place to buy “Sony PSP Go!” console games is going to be on Sony’s PSN. Once downloaded it is believed the games can re-downloaded time and again as and when required, in cases of changing a console and memory perhaps. The most beneficial aspect gamers want is the ability in trade in old for new at their favourite game shop – but no confirmation has been announced to date. Meaning digital content is likely to be locked to your PSN user ID. From a copy protection viewpoint it would be completely acceptable, to create similar EULAs for content, but for games this is a new concept. On the one hand Sony can control the monopoly of Go media on the other it could easily be integrated at retailers on the high street and online by simple asset management transferring digital license ownership to lock and unlock media. “We look forward to the possibility of comparing digital media download prices”, as much as game consoles.

Typically games players engage in conversation about pre-ordering and the joy of a product being physically delivered to their door. Similarly engaging in conversation about trading in games where to get the best bundle, deal and price is something that will be foreign in PSP Go community. Fiz só uma atualização em relação aos jogos xD

Depois de muito pensar finalmente decidi adquirir um PSP. Já tinha dito por aqui que preferia meu Nintendo DS a um PSP, mas como consegui um PSP3000 Verde + Final Fantasy Crisis Core por 550 reais, resolvi aproveitar para ter um portátil sem ser os da Nintendo. Afinal apesar de a Nintendo ser a empresa do meu coração, não sou um desses fanboys sem noção que simplesmente menospreza as outras marcas. Se pudesse, com certeza teria a coleção de todos os consoles de todas as gerações, seja da nintendo, sony ou microsoft. Quem sabe um dia chegue lá xD

Como eu já tinha jogado o PSP de meu cunhado, e também um bocado de FF Crisis Core ano passado, resolvi testar os outros recursos que não tinha usado ainda, como o skype, navegação em páginas da internet, rádio online, e download de demos. Não é uma avaliação técnica nem nada, apenas minhas impressões iniciais de quando coloquei o PSP nas mãos.

Pontos Positivos:

- Eu amei a cor! Lógico! Praticamente foi um dos fatores que me animou a comprar o PSP, o fato de ser da cor diferente daquelas mais comuns… E cá entre nós o Verde é lindo! Como já disse diversas vezes no twitter, esse verde me lembra o Link! E daqui a pouco é capaz de eu colar/pintar uma triforce nele =s

- Testei o skype, pensei que seria meio ruim, mas pelo menos no teste que fiz, a pessoa (bleu xD) me ouvia bem. O som tava saindo baixo, mas nada que um fone não resolva.

- Gostei da rádio online. Possui bastante estações, fiquei um tempo lá ouvindo músicas J-Pop xD, e o som saiu muito bom, nem preciso usar fones.

Pontos Negativos:

- OMG! Que barulho é esse que o UMD faz? Como tinha jogado no PSP do meu cunhado que é desbloqueado, joguei diretamente do memorycard, então não sabia que esse trequinho fazia tanto barulho, ao ponto de eu chegar a me assustar com os sons emitidos.

- Achei a navegação bem  lerda, demora um século para as páginas abrirem isso quando não dava erro, isso pode ser devido a minha internet compartilhada, mas ao conversar com alguns amigos que possuem o PSP,  já tinham me falado que era bem lerdinho a navegação.

- Acho que se tivesse tela sensível a toque como o DS, seria perfeito, uma coisa que muito me estressou foi o uso do teclado, acostumada a digitar pela tela de toque do DS achei bem mais demorado a digitação no PSP.

Jogos que possuo:

FF Crisis Core

Final Fantasy é Final Fantasy, o nome por si só já diz. Estou doida para terminar o jogo.  Mas uma coisa que me incomodou, é que eu gostei mais de ficar vendo os vídeos do jogo do que ficar jogando xD

Uma coisa que achei bem legal foi o sistema de level. Esse modo de subir de level meio que dependendo da sorte. 

OutRun 2006 Coast to Coast

Jogo que o chains me indicou quando anunciei no twitter que iria comprar um PSP e queria dicas de jogos para comprar. Comentei com ele que estava à procura de um jogo de corrida e ele me indicou esse.

Muito bom o jogo, principalmente as músicas do jogo, que aliás podemos escolher no tocador de nosso carro antes das partidas começarem.

Uma coisa que não entendi, é o fato de que o jogo não aceitou salvar, mas isso deve ser problema no meu cartão de memória

Monster Hunter Freedom

Sei lá, não curti muito esse jogo. Tipo de jogo que se eu ficar muito tempo jogando me dá dor de cabeça o.O

Jogos Demos: 

PATAPON 2

Ao testar o serviço de downloads de demo, resolvi pegar um jogo que sempre ouço falar por aí. O tal do PATAPON2. Achei o jogo espetacular, adoro jogos que envolvam ritmo (apesar de eu ser péssima nisso).  Fiquei hora e horas jogando, encalhei na quarta fase, uma que tem que passar por um dinossauro maldito, e acabei indo dormir ouvindo “pata pata pata pon”, “pon pon pata pon” “chick chick pata pon”. xD

HotShots Golf

Resolvi pegar um demo de jogo de esportes também, escolhi esse de golfe.

O sistema de jogo é bem parecido com o jogo online Pangya! que eu cheguei a jogar durante um tempo antes dele chegar a falir por aqui. Jogos de golfes acho que não tem muito o que inovar, mesmo assim demorei um tempo para pegar o jeito do jogo, lancei umas bolas em bancos de areia, lago e em tudo quando é lugar que não se deve =s

Rock Band Unplugged

A princípio achei bem esquisito ter que ficar de olho na barra e ver qual instrumento tem que tocar para não acabar perdendo, depois de um tempo acostuma. Pela demo não dá para jogar as músicas inteiras, mas depois joguei o jogo completo no PSP do meu cunhado. Jogo que já tá na lista dos que vou comprar.

Próximos da Lista

Jogos para PSP não faltam, o PSP3000 não tem desbloqueio ainda e nem sei se vai sair, mas até que prefiro assim, senão mesmo que eu compre muitos jogos originais sempre vai ter uns jogos aleatórios que vou tentar jogar só para saber como é, e vou acabar não jogando nada direito, como aconteceu no DS.

Os próximos que estão na minha Wish List são:

- Os Final Fantasy da vida lançados até agora, I, II, Tactics, Disgae, Dissidia. (um FF já ganhei do meu cunhado de aniversário )

Last week, I recently had found out about Sony’s brand new firmware for devolopers. It seems the same firmware is heading for the PSP systems soon, but the question is how soon?

This past week I’ve been seaching the internet for a free trial of Adobe Photoshop and I finally came across it and decided to download it. Here is a sample of my work I had recently done just for this post:

Sony had a doubt about the PSP 3000 when it had first came out but the question that everyone was asking at the time was why? Well that “Why” is suddenly about to be answered. As soon as the PSP 3000 had came out they started working on a new project as you know it, the PSP-Go. Now the PSP-Go is basically a PSP 3000 but the changes are only no UMDs and a sliding pannel.

Why would Sony start to make a new project other than because of money? No one will ever know…(Maybe)  but, I’ve read all over the internet that Sony will still be working with PSPs but how long will they keep it up? It seems to me that they’re trying to phase out the PSP 3000 and trying to make the PSP-Go something bigger than it’s not. So what do you think?

recently one of my colleagues bought a psp3000 and gave to me so that i can put in some games. because i havent had any news on psp since my last one last year so i have no idea why my old games are not working on his psp. so i tried researching first the latest updates on psp and found out that sony has been producing psp’s now that can only play games through umd and not through memory stick. so this is the first step i guess.

then i tried searching how to put the games in the memory stick and make it playable. then i found out bout this application chickHEN. and so this is the second step. checking on the version of the psp was my third step and found it was ver 5.03 so it is all good since the steps to crack this psp down is through ver 5.03.

these are the next steps i’ve learned.

1. install chickHEN hack

2. install CFW Enabler

INSTALLING chickHEN:

1. download first chickHEN R2-1 or chickHEN R2-2

2. Go to settings on your PSP and restore to default settings

3. turn off  UMD Autostart and UMD cache

4. connect your PSP to your PC

5. extract al files from the chickHEN archive you just downloaded

6. copy the file “h.bin” to the root directory of the memory card

7. copy the chickHEN folder in SLIM to “:\PSP\PHOTO”

8. then restart your psp

9. in your PSP, go to PHOTO then MEMORY STICK and wait for the options menu to appear. then press x to open the chickHEN folder

10. wait for it then you should be able to see a flash of color (in my case neon green) and your PSP will instantly reboot. after this process you’ll be able to find your PSP version as ”ver 5.03 chickHEN R2″ in systems settings

INSTALLING CFW Enabler

1. download CFW Enabler 3.01

2. note that you should have chickHEN installed first before proceeding in these steps.connect your PSP to your computer.

3. extract the files in CFW Enabler then copy the folder CFW Enabler to “:\PSP\GAME”

4. disconnect the PSP from the computer.

5. go to GAME – MEMORY STICK – CFW Enabler

6. after pressing x on CFW ENabler, it will boot up and press o then press x

after these steps your psp will reboot and you can now put ISO games to your mempry stick and play it directly on your memory card. enjoy!

note: try to google the installers and make some effort. you’ll find a lot of them through the net.these steps ive learned is factual and was done on hand.

Lately, Sony has taken a Skittles-esque liking for more PSP colors. Japan just got the new Carnival set and a lilac system is heading to North America soon, which I can’t wait to get my hands on despite the ridiculous pairing with Hanah Montana (Sony you suck major toes for that one!!!!!!!!). And, as it would appear, a lime green PSP is also in the works. According to Chinese website VGSky.com, the lime green PSP-3000 model pictured above was produced in a Sony factory in China. It’s currently unknown whether this specific color is being mass-produced or just a prototype.

Japan already has 12 different PSP color variants released on the market, and North America will soon have six. Where will this new color go, if it is indeed legit?

PSP 3000 differences: PSP 3000 has the ability to play on any tv, not just component connections. PSP 3000 overcomes the ghosting that ruined the experience on PSP slim and lite 2000 range. A new screen is yet again brighter, with ant-glare. So apart from the screen and rounder buttons, not much has changed and we’d say its not worth upgrading from your old PSP.

Mi exhortacion es que lo prueben(los que puedan) y me dejen comentarios sobre su experiencia. Yo en realidad no tengo PSP, porque no tengo tiempo para jugar. Lo unico que tengo es un N64 y un PS2 y juego en ellos si acaso en las vacaciones porque tengo algun tiempito. Si algun dia he de comprar un PSP mejor esperare a que lancen el PSP2 que segun algunos rumores podra tener pantalla tactil y video en HD.

The PSP-3000 plays the same games and offers the same media support as the older PSP models, but Sony has upgraded the system with an improved LCD screen and a new built-in microphone. The LCD is the same size and resolution as older PSP displays, but it has a “wider color gamut and anti-reflection technology,” according to the latest Sony press release.
The wider color gamut means that the new PSP screen is capable of displaying a wider range of colors. The new LCD also features five times the contrast ratio and quicker pixel-response times than the old PSP display. The response time has doubled in speed and will help eliminate ghosting or blurring during gameplay and video playback.

The PSP-3000’s other major upgrade is its new built-in microphone. Sony put the integrated microphone into the PSP design roadmap after seeing the success of the headset-enabled SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo. Sony placed the microphone pickup beneath the screen to the right of the volume buttons, well out of thumb reach, to prevent any inadvertent muting.

Ang tunay na edad nung model ay 20 o 21 ata, hindi ko na maalala, napakagaling niya, siguro nasa Guinness na siya (tae. nosebleed. hinanap ko pa ang tamang ispeling niyan sa google. kaawa-awa.) Iba na talaga ang nagagawa ng teknolohiya ngayon. Pedeng gamitin sa kahit saan, all around. Pedeng gamitin tulong sa pag-aaral, sa negosyo (tulad ng pag-pipirata), nagbibigay ng kasiyahan at libangan (tulad ng cellphone, tv, ipod), maari rin pang-kuha ng mga College Sex Scandals at pang Cam-to-cam. Ang dami na talagang nagagawa ng teknolohiya, isa na itong pangangailangan ng tao at buong mundo sa pang-araw-araw na buhay.

Naaalala ko tuloy nung dati ay Family Computer at GameBoy na black and White pa ang uso. Pinag-aagawan pa namin ito ng kapatid ko. Ngayon, computer na, may Wii, Playstation 3, Ipod Touch w/ speakers, PSP3000 at kung ano ano pa. Alam ko isa sa nabanggit ay meron kang pag-mamay-ari dahil abot-kamay at abot-kaya narin ang mga iyan.

Ngunit ang teknolohiya, kapag naabuso ay nakakasama sa atin. Isang pinakamalupit na humahagupit na halimbawa dito ay ang sikat na sikat at kinahuhumalingang DotA (Defense Of The Ancient). Ako, isa ako sa mga tumatangkilik ng larong yan ngunit hindi ako adiktus tulad ng iba na kahit paga na ang mata at ka-date na ang kape sa harap ng computer ay tuloy parin ang paglalaro.

Conclusion: Napakaganda niya (Eniko Mihalik) sa 30-year-old pose niya. May mga kanya kanyang kalamangan (advantage) at kasahulan (disadvantage) ang teknolohiya, kelangan nating i-balance ito tulad ng lamok, ipis at iba pang peste na binabalanse ang ating ecosystem.

Peripheral manufacturer Datel has been hard at work attempting to crack the PSP 3000 since its release. They’ve developed the Lite Blue Tool battery to force the PSP into service mode so hackers can run any arbitrary code they want. According to MaxConsole, Datel performed a silicon level investigation of the PSP’s chips to determine how to break into service mode. This means they decapsulated the the chips and reverse engineered any cryptographic protections. We’d love to hear exactly what chips were being used since some are fundamentally flawed.

Sony has released the long awaited PSP-3000, so now how does it compare to the latest from nintendo -

Super Mario DSiWare

Nintendo DSi hand held? Sony PSP 3k has improved LCD screen and finally a built-in microphone that should have been there in the first place. LCD screen has the same resolution and  size as PSP Phat and PSP 2000 a.k.a Lite displays, but Sony claims that it has new anti-reflection technology  – not really a problem before, and a wider color gamut – that is good + 5X times higher contrast – now this is more like it. We are getting close to being able to see PSP screen in the sun

So PSP3000 (no mod chips for it have been released as of yet)

• Better screen that is closer in brightness to what DS Lite has – YES
• PSP 3000 hacked and ready to play pirated backup games – NO
• Works with PSP3000 Custom Firmware M33 5.00 etc. – NO
• Can PSP3k play PSP iso and cso files from Memory Stick – NO

• Even bigger and brigter screen – YES
• Hacked / Moded to play NDS roms – NO
• Works with GBA Flash Cards – NO – No longer has GBA slot!
• Can play MP3 from SD card – NO only AAC supported !?#$@

so at this point I would say – stay with your OLD PSP and DS Lite and wait for the new console versions to hacked and modded or modchips released for them so that all the good features are unlocked. Untill than 3000 and DSi are good for the casual gamer who knows nothing about the roms and emulators, but not for the pirate in You!
