MOST people will date the death of the great global warming scare not from the Copenhagen fiasco – boring! - but from Avatar.

It won’t be the world’s most expensive warmist conference but the world’s most expensive movie that will stick in most memories as the precise point at which the green faith started to shrivel from sheer stupidity.

Avatar, in fact, is the warmist’s dream filmed in 3D. Staring through your glasses at James Cameron’s spectacular $400 million creation, you can finally see where this global warming cult was going. And you can see, too, everything that will now slowly pull it back to earth. December 2009. Note it down. The beginning of the end, even as Avatar becomes possibly the biggest-grossing film in history.

Cameron, whose last colossal hit was Titanic, has created a virtual new planet called Pandora, on which humans 150 years from now have formed a small settlement. They are there to mine a mineral so rare that it’s called Unobtainium (groan), of which the greatest deposit sits right under the great sacred tree of the planet’s dominant species, humanoid blue aliens called Na’vi.

If Tim Flannery, Al Gore and all the other Copenhagen delegates could at least agree to design a new kind of people, they’d wind up with something much like these 3 meter tall gracelings.

The Na’vi live in trees, at one with nature. They worship Mother Earth and, like Gaians today, talk meaningfully of “a network of energy that flows through all living things”. They drink water that’s pooled in giant leaves, and chant around a tree that whispers of their ancestors.

They are also unusually non-sexist for a forest tribe, with the women just as free as men to hunt and choose their spouse. Naturally, like the most fashionable of Hollywood stars, they are also neo-Buddhist reincarnationists, who believe “all energy is borrowed and some day you have to give it back”.

And, of course, the Na’vi reject all technology that’s more advanced than a bow and arrow, for “the wealth of the world is all around us”.

Sent to talk dollars and sense into these blue New Agers and move them out of the way of the bulldozers is a former Marine, Jake Sully (played by Australian Sam Worthington), who drives the body of a Na’vi avatar to better gain their trust.

PARIS (AFP) – Man’s best friend could be one of the environment’s worst enemies, according to a new study which says the carbon pawprint of a pet dog is more than double that of a gas-guzzling sports utility vehicle.

But the revelation in the book “Time to Eat the Dog: The Real Guide to Sustainable Living” by New Zealanders Robert and Brenda Vale has angered pet owners who feel they are being singled out as troublemakers.

The Vales, specialists in sustainable living at Victoria University of Wellington, analysed popular brands of pet food and calculated that a medium-sized dog eats around 164 kilos (360 pounds) of meat and 95 kilos of cereal a year.

Combine the land required to generate its food and a “medium” sized dog has an annual footprint of 0.84 hectares (2.07 acres) — around twice the 0.41 hectares required by a 4×4 driving 10,000 kilometres (6,200 miles) a year, including energy to build the car.

To confirm the results, the New Scientist magazine asked John Barrett at the Stockholm Environment Institute in York, Britain, to calculate eco-pawprints based on his own data. The results were essentially the same.

“Owning a dog really is quite an extravagance, mainly because of the carbon footprint of meat,” Barrett said. Other animals aren’t much better for the environment, the Vales say.

Houthi fighters say Saudi warplanes have fired some 1,011 missiles on the borderline with Yemen where the Shia population is already under heavy state-led and US-aided bombardment. The fighters also said on Saturday that the warplanes had carried out nearly 60 air assaults on the residential areas in the northern Al-Jabiri, Al-Dukhan and Al-Malaheet districts.

Saudi Arabia joined Sana’a’s months-long fierce armed campaign against the Shia fighters in November. The Houthis are accused by the central government of breaking the terms of a ceasefire agreement by taking foreign visitors hostage. The Saudis, on their part, claimed that the fighters had attacked one of their border checkpoints.

The fighters denounce the offensives as a discriminatory campaign against the Shia minority under Riyadh’s auspices. The offensives, meanwhile, have been taking their toll on the locals with the Saudis reportedly venturing beyond the Houthi positions, targeting civilian areas and using unconventional weaponry including flesh-eating white phosphorus bombs.

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees estimates that since 2004, the conflict has forced up to 175,000 people in the Shia-dominated northwestern province of Sa’ada out of their homes and into overcrowded camps set up by the United Nations.

The US military equipment and intelligence have reportedly entered the equation in the recent days. The US special forces have reportedly been sent to Yemen to provide the national army with training services. The US Air Force is also said to have been sporadically pounding the northern areas since Monday.

The Houthis said US attacks on Thursday killed 120 civilians, among whom were women and children. Also on Saturday, a report on the Houthis’ website said that three civilians, including a woman and a child, had been killed in fresh air raids carried out by US warplanes.

Shortly after the second World Trade Center tower was hit, at 9:03 a.m. on September 11, 2001, an officer at Andrews Air Force Base, just outside Washington, DC, was notified that the Secret Service wanted fighter jets launched over the nation’s capital. It was now obvious the U.S. was under terrorist attack, and Washington would have been an obvious potential target. And yet the Secret Service’s request came to nothing.

No fighters had taken off from Andrews by 9:37 a.m., when the Pentagon was hit. Nor had any launched by the time Flight 93 apparently crashed in Pennsylvania, shortly after 10:00 a.m., while flying toward Washington. In fact, fighters did not launch from Andrews until over 90 minutes after the second attack in New York. The first fully armed fighters did not launch from there until more than two hours after that attack. So why was the Secret Service’s early request for help not acted upon? Why did fighter jets only take off from this massive Air Force base to defend the capital well after the morning’s attacks had ended?

SECRET SERVICE CALLS FAA HEADQUARTERS

The Secret Service agent who made the early request that fighter jets be launched appears to have been Nelson Garabito. Garabito was responsible for coordinating the president’s movements, and was also the Secret Service’s liaison to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He was in the Secret Service Joint Operations Center (JOC) at the White House that morning. Just after Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower at 9:03 a.m., Garabito called Terry Van Steenbergen, his counterpart at the FAA, who was at the FAA headquarters in Washington. According to the 9/11 Commission, shortly into the call, Van Steenburgen told Garabito “that there were more planes unaccounted for–possibly hijacked–in addition to the two that had already crashed.”

Possibly in response to this information, Garabito appears to have asked Van Steenbergen to arrange for fighters to be launched over Washington. Van Steenbergen asked three of his colleagues at the FAA to call various air bases to see if they could get fighters into the air. One of these colleagues, Karen Pontius, had previously worked at Andrews Air Force Base, so she made the call to the FAA air traffic control tower there. [1] Garabito would have been unable to call the tower himself, because, according to a 9/11 Commission memorandum, the Secret Service “did not have a phone line to the Andrews tower.”

FAA HEADQUARTERS REQUESTS FIGHTERS

Pontius spoke to Steve Marra, an air traffic controller in the Andrews tower. Marra has recalled that Pontius “told him to launch F-16s to cap the airspace over Washington.” He relayed this information to the District of Columbia Air National Guard (DCANG), which is based at Andrews, across the airfield from the control tower. [2] Marra appears to have done so when DCANG officer Major Daniel Caine phoned the tower and asked if any air traffic control measures were being implemented in response to the attacks. [3] Caine later recalled that the tower controller–i.e. Marra–told him “that they just received the scramble order.” However, oddly, Caine told the 9/11 Commission that the Andrews tower “would not have been in the loop for any Secret Service orders to scramble aircraft.” [4]

If the DC Air National Guard was notified of this early “scramble order,” why was that order not acted upon? Pilots and others working for the DCANG at Andrews were already well aware of the crisis taking place. Upon learning of the second crash, someone at the unit reportedly yelled, “We’re under a terrorist attack!” [5] And, seeing the television coverage of the burning WTC towers, an officer exclaimed, “Well, holy shit, if this is a terrorist attack, we need to get something in the air!”

For the past few days, I’ve received loads of emails urging me to get active regarding the healthcare vote – most of which had a subject line similar to: “Last Chance to Stop National Healthcare!”

Well, if you believe the only way to protect your rights is by begging federal politicians to do what you want, then these emails are certainly right. The vote went as expected, and so will the next.

So if you think marching on D.C. or calling your Representatives, or threating to “throw the bums out” in 2010 or 2012 or 20-whatever, is going to further the cause of the Constitution and your liberty – you might as well get your shackles on now. Your last chance has come and gone. But, those of you who visit this site regularly already know that the Senate’s health care vote is far from the end of things – and you also know that even when it goes into effect (which I assume some version will), it’s still not the end of the road for your freedom.

The real way to resist DC is not by begging politicians and judges in Washington to allow us to exercise our rights…it’s to exercise our rights whether they want to give us “permission” to or not.

Nullification – state-level resistance to unconstitutional federal laws – is the way forward.

When a state ‘nullifies’ a federal law, it is proclaiming that the law in question is void and inoperative, or ‘non-effective,’ within the boundaries of that state; or, in other words, not a law as far as that state is concerned.

It’s peaceful, effective, and has a long history in the American tradition. It’s been invoked in support of free speech, in opposition to war and fugitive slave laws, and more. Read more on this history here.

Regarding nullification and health care, there’s already a growing movement right now. Led by Arizona, voters in a number of states may get a chance to approve State Constitutional Amendments in 2010 that would effectively ban national health care in their states. Our sources here at the Tenth Amendment Center indicate to us that we should expect to see 20-25 states consider such legislation in 2010.

20 States resisting DC can do what calling, marching, yelling, faxing, and emailing has almost never done. Stop the feds dead in their tracks.

For example, 13 states are already defying federal marijuana prohibition, and the federal government is having such a hard time dealing with it that the Obama administration recently announced that they would no longer prioritize enforcement in states that have medical marijuana laws.

Better yet, in the last 2+ years more than 20 states have been able to effectively prevent the Real ID Act of 2005 from being implemented. How did they do that? They passed laws and resolutions refusing to comply with it. And today, it’s effectively null and void without ever being repealed by Congress or challenged in court.

While the Obama administration would like to revive it under a different name, the reality is still there – with massive state-level resistance, the federal government can be pushed back inside its constitutional box. Issue by issue, law by law, the best way to change the federal government is by resisting it on a state level. That’s nullification at work.

Over the years, wise men and women warned us that the Constitution would never enforce itself. The time is long overdue for people to start recognizing this fact, and bring that enforcement closer to home.

The bottom line? If you want to make real change; if you want to really do something for liberty and for the Constitution…focus on local activism and your state governments.

Thomas Jefferson would be proud!

Senator Ben Nelson, Democrat of Nebraska, announced his support of the bill on Saturday.

WASHINGTON — After a long day of acid, partisan debate, Senate Democrats held ranks early Monday in a dead-of-night procedural vote that proved they had locked in the decisive margin needed to pass a far-reaching overhaul of the nation’s health care system.

The roll was called shortly after 1 a.m., with Washington still snowbound after a weekend blizzard, and the Senate voted on party lines to cut off a Republican filibuster of a package of changes to the health care bill by the majority leader, Harry Reid of Nevada. The vote was 60 to 40 — a tally that is expected to be repeated four times as further procedural hurdles are cleared in the days ahead, and then once more in a dramatic, if predictable, finale tentatively scheduled for 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Both parties hailed the vote as seismic. Democrats said it showed them poised to reshape the health system after decades of failed attempts.

“Health care in America ought to be a right, not a privilege,” said Senator Christopher J. Dodd, Democrat of Connecticut. “Since the time of Harry Truman, every Congress, Republican and Democrat, every president, Democrat and Republican, have at least thought about doing this. Some actually tried.”

Republicans said that the bill was fatally flawed and that voters would retaliate against Democrats at the polls in November.

“It’s obvious why the majority has cooked up this amendment in secret, has introduced it in the middle of a snowstorm, has scheduled the Senate to come in session at midnight, has scheduled a vote for 1 a.m., is insisting that it be passed before Christmas — because they don’t want the American people to know what’s in it,” said Senator Lamar Alexander, Republican of Tennessee.

Mr. Alexander added, “Our friends on the Democratic side seem determined to pursue a political kamikaze mission toward a historic mistake.”

The other day, Dylan Rattigan on MSNBC was giving Rep. Wassersman-Schulz (D-Fl) a hard time about the health care package. He disputed her contention the bill was a big win for consumers. He wanted to know why the stock prices for Big Insurers (Aetna, Cigna, Wellpoint, United Health) shot up if this was such a big loss for them.

Unfortunately, he was so exercised on the point, he didn’t give his guest a chance to address the question. This is an important question. Asked another way, the question is: Why are stocks in this sector at a 52-week high if this legislation is such a blow to their profits? That’s worth investigating. Follow the money and things get real clear real fast.

The validity of the point Rattigan was trying to make is clear even with this thumbnail of a stock chart. This chart covers the last three months. It compares the S&P 500 to stock prices for some large health insurance companies. Each one is represented by a different color as follows:

S&P 500 (brown)

Cigna (red)

Aetna (blue)

Wellpoint (gold)

United Health (green)

If you look at the S&P 500, a broad indicator of the market, you see it is fluctuating but largely unchanged. However, all the health insurers took a dump towards the end of September, for an average loss of about 12%. They stay down throughout October. However, they start rising in November to reverse those losses. Last week they all moved again, this time to gain over the S&P. In sum, these stocks have posted an average 10% gain, after making up their losses. That’s about a 20% swing in value. That’s a big move compared to the overall market.

It’s true these stocks are more volatile than the overall index. That’s the point of the index, to smooth out volatility. The fact these stocks all move in concert shows they are being affected by the same forces. That’s not surprising. Stocks in the same sector should be responding in roughly similar ways to the same news. The interesting point is when they made their moves. That reflects the conversation of the time…

Democrats deceptively argue that health care is legal under the commerce clause of the Constitution. The commerce clause relates to business, not individuals, but the Democrats have skewed the original purpose and intent of the Constitution.

When asked to point out where in the Constitution authority is granted to force an individual — ultimately at gunpoint — to buy government health care, Speaker of the House Pelosi said: “Are you serious?”

It is said Obama was a constitutional professor at the University of Chicago Law School (even this is a lie — he was in fact “a senior lecturer,” not a professor), so we should assume he has at least some knowledge of the principles of the Constitution. Obama likely knows that the Constitution does not mandate Americans be forced into a contractual agreement with a private party for health insurance.

Apparently, like his predecessor, Obama regards the Constitution as little more than a “goddamn piece of paper”.

“Nowhere in the Constitution is Congress given the power to mandate that an individual enter into a contract with a private party or purchase a good or service,” explains the Heritage Foundation. No decision or present doctrine of the Supreme Court justifies such a claim of power.

Is it possible Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have not read Article I of the Constitution? It states that the government’s rights are limited. Article 1, Section 8 reads, “The Congress shall have Power … To regulate Commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian Tribes.” It does not say a word about health care. The federal government only has the power to regulate trade between itself, foreign governments, and the states. Period.

But then the government — including the Supreme Court — has chipped away at the Constitution for decades. Many of the most serious violations of the Constitution came under the reign of a supposed conservative Republican, George W. Bush.

The Democrat health care bill is merely the most recent and most egregious of those constitutional violations. Both parties – essentially the same party – excel at destroying our constitutional rights.

As recently as last week, there was hope this monstrosity in the Senate would die a natural death and hand a defeat to Obama and his big government statists in the House and Senate. Now that senator Ben Nelson has sold his consent — for Medicaid money to Nebraska — it appears this bill will soon be a done deal.

In a few weeks, the federal government may be making your most important and private medical decisions. Get ready for health care on par with Cash for Clunkers. Get ready to take the next step on the road toward government tyranny and slavery.

Although the final Copenhagen agreement is largely being dismissed as a failure by both the mainstream media and climate skeptics, it does establish the framework for a global government which will control climate finances via taxes on CO2 emissions, as Lord Monckton warned on The Alex Jones Show this week.

Monckton said that the main goal of Copenhagen was to “establish the mechanism, the structure, and above all the funding for a world government.” “They are going to take from the western countries the very large financial resources required to do that.” Monckton said, adding “They will disguise it by saying they are setting up a $100 billion fund for adaptation to climate change in third world countries, but actually, this money will almost all be gobbled up by the international bureaucracy.”

The final text of the accord states that funds obtained from climate financing will be controlled by a “governance structure,” and that a “High Level Panel” will be appointed to decide where the money will come from. In effect, this means that a UN-controlled structure of global governance will override the sovereignty of nation states in collecting and doling out funds obtained under the justification of climate change.

As Monckton explained, these funds will come from a global tax on financial transactions and a tax on GDP. Earlier draft versions of the agreement spelled this out in detail, but the final version leaves it more vague, merely stating the funds will be collected “from a wide variety of sources, public and private, lateral and multilateral.”

As information that was leaked in the first few days of the conference revealed, the money will not even go to the UN, but it will go straight to the IMF and World Bank who will then lend it at loan shark rates to poorer countries, thus further indebting them to the global government and advancing climate colonialism.

The agreement also gives the green light for carbon trading markets, which as we have documented are all owned by climate kingpins like Maurice Strong and Al Gore, to be more heavily financed and expanded.

Many elements of the final text have been watered down and the agreement has little teeth in terms of enforcing national limits on CO2 emissions, which is why many in the skeptic camp are celebrating the apparent failure of the conference.

The Club For Growth organization said that Obama’s failure to get developing nations to agree to more draconian measures has “probably saved thirty million jobs” in America.

“I am greatly relieved that the last-minute agreement President Obama negotiated is being widely described as ‘meaningful.’ When politicians call something ‘meaningful,’ that means it isn’t,” states their press release.

However, Copenhagen delegates have already promised to convene another series of meetings next year to strengthen what is spelled out in the final agreement. Globalists are persistent and they will continue hammering away until they get what they want, not because the environment is on the verge of collapse, but because their agenda for world government is stalling as more people find out the true agenda behind the global warming scam.

This is why we need to be more vigilant than ever and keep the elite on the back foot. While it’s true that the globalists have failed to achieve the entirety of what they set out for, they are still moving forward with their agenda by taking baby steps rather than giant leaps.

We have slowed the juggernaut of global government, but it continues to grind forward, which is why we need to continue to awaken more people so that we can have greater strength in pushing back and resisting the tyranny that the globalists want to enforce by taxing and regulating the very life-giving gas that we all breathe.

I had memories (engrams?) of Dianetics commercials in the Midwest when I was growing up.  I remembered the Bible-esque come- on about how the answer to this or that pressing life problem could be found on page one-hundred-something; the red-hot animation of a very phallic volcano ejaculating molten lava all over the damn place, chunks of rocky stuff flying across the screen in a dozen directions, right before the word “Dianetics” quaked across the screen,  like the orgasmic moan accompanying the last bust nut.

Manly, virile imagery, all that–and possibly also super-gay.

I  knew that quite a few celebrities were members of the “Church.”  I also knew about Hubbard’s connection to and idolization of Aleister Crowley, the bisexual British sex-magician, elitist, libertine, spy and occultist-cum-dirty-stand-up comic.

I knew about how Hubbard joined the O.T.O. in California, stole rocket-scientist/occultist Jack Parson’s money and his girlfriend.

I’d also read an obviously-Church produced 1970’s history of Scientology, seen a very-obviously Church-produced interview with Lafayette Ron Hubbard produced in the 1960’s.  From Japan, I’d read Barefaced Messiah online, the classic expose of Scientology.

I also knew that, paradoxically, for an organization run by a Sci-Fi writer/con man/ manipulative hypnotist, the Church was one of the first organizations to expose MK Ultra-like mind control experiments by the U.S. government.

I also knew that out of Scientology, est and the infamous Process Church were birthed (bastard children, they).

I knew enough, also, to realize that something this big was never “just” a con, not with  its origins in the mind of a closet occultist and hypnostist.  Hell, no.

I wasn’t doing shit Friday night, as the kids say, so why not see if I could test my mind and my will against one of the biggest, baddest cults around?

So, on a Friday, I hopped the subway and headed to the Scientology Celebrity Center to watch the “Free Movie.”

“Wanna see a Free Movie?” asked the flier-guy out front, flapping a Scientology postcard at me.

The final Copenhagen draft agreement which was hammered out in the early hours of Friday morning includes provisions for a global tax on financial transactions that will be paid directly to the World Bank, as President Obama prepares to bypass Congress by approving a massive transfer of wealth from America into globalist hands.

As Lord Monckton, Alex Jones and others warned, the notion that the globalists would achieve nothing at Copenhagen has likely been a ruse all along. The elite look set to ram through the lion’s share of their agenda, which would include a massive global government tax at a cost of at least $3,000 a year for American families already laboring under a devastating recession, double digit unemployment and a reduction in living standards.

Hillary Clinton arrived yesterday to rally global leaders around a resolution and Barack Obama is set to be portrayed as the savior of the world by rescuing what was pitched all along as a conference doomed to fail.

“The summit “hangs in the balance,” said Obama this morning. “We are running out of time. The time for talk is over. It is better for us to act than to talk. The question is whether we move forward together or split apart.”

The final agreement may not force countries to meet CO2 emission targets, but it will grease the skids for the biggest tax hike in human history, a fact that establishment media outlets have completely failed to emphasize.

A hearing in Sen. Claire McCaskill’s Contract Oversight subcommittee on contracting in Afghanistan has highlighted some important statistics that provide a window into the extent to which the Obama administration has picked up the Bush-era war privatization baton and sprinted with it. Overall, contractors now comprise a whopping 69% of the Department of Defense’s total workforce, “the highest ratio of contractors to military personnel in US history.” That’s not in one war zone—that’s the Pentagon in its entirety.

In Afghanistan, the Obama administration blows the Bush administration out of the privatized water. According to a memo [PDF] released by McCaskill’s staff, “From June 2009 to September 2009, there was a 40% increase in Defense Department contractors in Afghanistan.  During the same period, the number of armed private security contractors working for the Defense Department in Afghanistan doubled, increasing from approximately 5,000 to more than 10,000.”

At present, there are 104,000 Department of Defense contractors in Afghanistan. According to a report this week from the Congressional Research Service, as a result of the coming surge of 30,000 troops in Afghanistan, there may be up to 56,000 additional contractors deployed. But here is another group of contractors that often goes unmentioned: 3,600 State Department contractors and 14,000 USAID contractors. That means that the current total US force in Afghanistan is approximately 189,000 personnel (68,000 US troops and 121,000 contractors). And remember, that’s right now. And that, according to McCaskill, is a conservative estimate. A year from now, we will likely see more than 220,000 US-funded personnel on the ground in Afghanistan.

The US has spent more than $23 billion on contracts in Afghanistan since 2002. By next year, the number of contractors will have doubled since 2008 when taxpayers funded over $8 billion in Afghanistan-related contracts.

Despite the massive number of contracts and contractors in Afghanistan, oversight is utterly lacking. “The increase in Afghanistan contracts has not seen a corresponding increase in contract management and oversight,” according to McCaskill’s briefing paper. “In May 2009, DCMA [Defense Contract Management Agency] Director Charlie Williams told the Commission on Wartime Contracting that as many as 362 positions for Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) in Afghanistan were currently vacant.”

A former USAID official, Michael Walsh, the former director of USAID’s Office of Acquisition and Assistance and Chief Acquisition Officer, told the Commission that many USAID staff are “administering huge awards with limited knowledge of or experience with the rules and regulations.” According to one USAID official, the agency is “sending too much money, too fast with too few people looking over how it is spent.” As a result, the agency does not “know … where the money is going.”

The Obama administration is continuing the Bush-era policy of hiring contractors to oversee contractors. According to the McCaskill memo:

In Afghanistan, USAID is relying on contractors to provide oversight of its large reconstruction and development projects.  According to information provided to the Subcommittee, International Relief and Development (IRD) was awarded a five-year contract in 2006 to oversee the $1.4 billion infrastructure contract awarded to a joint venture of the Louis Berger Group and Black and Veatch Special Projects.  USAID has also awarded a contract Checci and Company to provide support for contracts in Afghanistan.

The private security industry and the US government have pointed to the Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker(SPOT) as evidence of greater government oversight of contractor activities. But McCaskill’s subcommittee found that system utterly lacking, stating: “The Subcommittee obtained current SPOT data showing that there are currently 1,123 State Department contractors and no USAID contractors working in Afghanistan.” Remember, there are officially 14,000 USAID contractors and the official monitoring and tracking system found none of these people and less than half of the State Department contractors.

As for waste and abuse, the subcommittee says that the Defense Contract Audit Agency identified more than $950 million in questioned and unsupported costs submitted by Defense Department contracts for work in Afghanistan. That’s 16% of the total contract dollars reviewed.

A visibly frustrated President Barack Obama was forced to address climate skepticism during his ill-tempered tantrum today in Copenhagen, desperately claiming that man-made climate change was “not fiction,” a view not shared by the majority of Americans he has failed to represent as he attempts to ram through a huge transfer of wealth to the new world order.

Obama said he was convinced the danger was real, adding, “This is not fiction, it is science,” before resolving to pursue his climate change agenda no matter what happened in Copenhagen – and evidently no matter what Congress or the American people have to say about it.

Obama restated his mission to craft policy that will cut CO2 emissions in America by 80 percent before 2050 – an act that will completely devastate the economy and herald a new great depression as we have previously documented.

He also said that $100 billion dollars would be mobilized for climate financing by 2020, the vast majority of which will come from a global tax on financial transactions and a GDP tax, as we have highlighted.

Obama said the ability to “take collective action is in doubt right now,” admitting that the success of the conference “hangs in the balance.”

Upset at the fact that the Copenhagen agenda is stalling, Obama is busily attempting to engineer an agreement via a series of behind closed doors meetings with world leaders.

“President Barack Obama and world leaders are holding another impromptu meeting in search of a climate deal,” reports the Associated Press. “Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said Friday that Obama was meeting behind closed doors with the leaders of Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan. Also participating in the talks were developing countries.”

As United States President Barack Obama and his advisors debated future troop levels for Afghanistan – which resulted in the decision to send an additional 30,000 troops – a new report by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) muddied the water on one of the most important issues in the debate – the effects of Afghanistan’s drug production.

The report, entitled “Addiction, Crime, and Insurgency: The Transnational Threat of Afghan Opium”, gives the false impression that the Taliban are the main culprits behind Afghanistan’s skyrocketing drug production. It also implies that drugs are the main reason why the Taliban are gaining in strength, absolving the United States and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) of their own responsibility in fomenting the insurgency. In fact, the United States and its Afghan allies bear a large share of responsibility for the drug industry’s dramatic expansion since the invasion. Buried deep in the report, its authors admit that reduced levels of drug production would have little effect on the insurgency’s vigor.

The following annotation rebuffs some of the report’s main assertions, puts in perspective the Taliban’s role in the opium economy and highlights US/NATO responsibility for its expansion and potential reduction:

A new poster campaign sponsored by the United Nations depicts humans as evil horror movie monsters intent on slaughtering wildlife, another abhorrent example of how eugenicists are following through on the Club of Rome’s 1991 promise to portray Homo sapiens as the enemy in an effort to construct a world government around the pretext of saving the earth.

The three posters reverse the roles of famous horror movies Jaws, King Kong, and Tarantula, characterizing humans as rampaging monsters out to kill defenseless species. They were produced by the Center for Migratory Species.

The poster campaign is being sponsored by the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), the world’s would-be environmental arm of the global government now being advanced in Copenhagen. Each poster features the UNEP logo at the bottom of the image.

UNEP is the regulatory body that established the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the politicized organization that has attempted to slam the lid shut on global warming skepticism by claiming it is the supreme authority, despite the fact that scientists used by the IPCC were caught manipulating data and conspiring to “hide the decline” in global warming during the climategate scandal.

The first poster portrays a man as some kind of sub-aquatic killing machine bearing his teeth next to the words “Evil Jaws”.

The next poster reverses the classic King Kong imagery, with the beautiful blonde woman recast as a gnarling murderer waiting to crush a defenseless ape in her hands. The woman is labeled, “The Horrifying Human Being (Homo-sapiens)”.

The third image shows a man’s boot about to squash tarantula spiders below the words, “Giant Terror 6 Feet High”.

Global warming alarmists have ceased to hide their genocidal tendencies behind euphemistic language and have now brazenly announced that humans are the enemy, and that they must be eradicated en masse in the name of mother nature.

From websites that tell children to commit suicide after they have used their allotted amount of CO2, to award-winning cartoons that depict humans as a deadly virus upon the planet, bloodthirsty eugenicists have re-emerged with their sick rhetoric couched in the righteous cause of environmentalism.

The most disturbing aspect of the poster campaign is that it is sponsored by the United Nations. The fact that powerful globalist organizations who view humanity as an evil plague upon the earth are also crafting policies around the fraudulent premise of global warming that are already devastating poorer countries is frightening.

As we highlighted recently, measures introduced in the name of cutting CO2 emissions are already killing millions of people in the third world, with a doubling in food prices as a result of the introduction of biofuels causing mass starvation and death.

The entire climate change takeover is being spearheaded by self-hating psychotics who want to impose a global one child policy in the name of curbing overpopulation. As we have vehemently proven, the overpopulation hype is a debunked myth with no basis in reality. The real reason global eugenicists want to implement such policies, along with taxing the life-giving gas carbon dioxide, is because it would give them absolute control over every single aspect of our lives – a control freak’s utopia.

The propagandistic method of depicting humans as the enemy is perfectly tailored to this agenda, because it elicits the response of making people call for their own kind to be regulated, controlled, and even killed under the contrived pretext of preventing an ecological apocalypse.

The global elite resolved to take this approach back in 1991 when the Club of Rome, a powerful globalist NGO committed to limiting growth and ushering in a post-industrial society, said in their report, The First Global Revolution, “In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill…. All these dangers are caused by human intervention… The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”

The decision to make humans the culprit of the manufactured global warming crisis is now manifesting itself on every level, with the EPA declaring the gas that we all exhale as a threat to public health, and the United Nations attempting to ram through an agreement in Copenhagen that would impose taxes on financial transactions and GDP that would go straight into the coffers of the World Bank and the IMF – bankrolling the implementation of what contrived climate fearmongering was always geared towards achieving – a one world government and a new world order.

Let’s take a look at the dynamics of “methane hydrates” vs C02 in the Climate Debate. Back in ‘04, hydrates (and associated terms, see below) were receiving quite a bit more attention from your average web-surfing citizen than C02 was (as it relates to CC/GW, anyway.) After the release(s) of “An Inconvenient Truth”, C02 became the vastly more searched term. I’ll let the graph speak for itself. [Also note that interest in "climate debate" has impressively "closed the gap" since October. Urah!]

YOU CAN’T REGULATE PEAT BOGS…

I admit to being a little freaked-out by the potential for the release of methane hydrates/clathrates to cause sudden warming — due to thawing arctic permafrost and venting from the ocean floor, etc. My layman’s theory is that the release of underground/underwater methane will inevitably be the largest factor in global warming — and there’s not much that can be done about it. It’s just “too scary” to play the role it deserves in climate debate, especially when you consider the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (an apocalyptic climatic shift) — which scientists seem to agree methane release was reponsible for.

Thus it’s been almost entirely left out of the insulting and manipulative propaganda and — criminally — also the IPCC’s projections (I guess CRU can’t model methane feedback properly either.) On top of this, ice core samples indicate that atmospheric methane has been rising since about 1800. (Is it all man-made? Or could we already be in the midst of an unstoppable methane release?)

HUMAN-INDUCED METHANE EMISSIONS:

Perhaps I’m awed by the power of Methane (CH4) — 23 times stronger than C02 as a greenhouse gas, based on same 100-year period — because I grew up in New Zealand, a dairy and sheep-farming nation. The process of “enteric fermentation” in animals with “ruminant” stomachs (cows, sheep, goats etc) creates methane emissions. 90% of these are burps (not farts). Livestock (including non-ruminants) account for 37% of human-induced methane globally, according to Wikipedia. (The rest? Coal mining, oil and gas production, flooded rice patties, landfills, etc.) Sadly, these emissions pale in comparison to the amount of methane waiting to be released due to the feedback loop presumably underway and/or natural or man-made warming effects.

Interest in human-induced CH4 emissions (and methane as it relates to climate change generally) tracks C02 interest closely [chart] — although at a lower level — and crosses over the “hydrates line” at the same time. The search volume results really show you the power a single documentary can have if distributed as if it were a religious text.

Now, if I were an evil genius — or cult leader — here’s how I’d play it out: (1) Ignore the inevitable… (2) Claim to be able to “fix things” (if given enough control)… (3) Simulate effective climate response through profitable institutions… (4) Inevitably admit failure, by which time… (5) My faction is the “last-man-standing”… (6) Die laughing (maniacally, if possible).

As previously reported, even religion has become a tool for the climate change agenda. A Yale-based project seeks to expand religious coalitions “both covertly and overtly” on climate change. This has manifest in ways such as a “Day of Prayer on Climate Change” and through organizations seeking ‘pathways to religious environmentalism.’

Not surprisingly, the Parliament of World Religions has also organized around ‘faithful’ action on climate change. Its December 3-9, 2009 meeting in Melbourne focused on a statement to Copenhagen, endorsing the target of 350ppm to be adopted in treaty discussions.

The spokesmen calls on ‘rich nations’ who “rescued the financial sector” to now “rescue the planet.” Like so many inter-religious organizations, this one appears to be in lock-step with the globalist agenda, materialized at Copenhagen, and disseminated through the United Nations, the World Bank, the IMF and etc.

The Parliament of World Religions states its aim to:

Engage worldwide religious, spiritual, secular, environmental, business and educational leaders to seek commitment and practical solutions through dialogue.

Work with others and within their own traditions to craft faithful responses to “global poverty and global warming” and “environmental care and degradation“

While the overall purpose of the ‘parliament’ is quite vague (i.e. world peace), the purpose for 2009, timed to coincide with the Copenhagen summit, seems, in part, to give the impression that billions across the planet, under the umbrella of any/all of the world’s faiths, are somehow in unified support of the Copenhagen agenda.

Even the most sincerely held convictions that we should save the Earth will do nothing, other than transfer wealth via a new carbon tax structure to the same greedy bankers– and Al Gore– who’ve carried out some of the worst environmental atrocities.
