Hey Guys,

This will be the last update on my end for a while as I fulfill the final commitments of my travel schedule and take the necessary steps to make this the most amazing December of my life. As I prepare for another Masterclass weekend tomorrow, I thought I’d write a post for everyone out there.

Challenging Assumptions

“Maybe she’s with her boyfriend.”

“Maybe she has better things to do.”

“Maybe she’s busy.”

“Maybe she doesn’t want to talk.”

Sound familiar? It most certainly does to me. These were the excuses that I gave myself again and again when I hesitated upon making an approach. I am not going to lie : there is no denying that the Asian culture here is not as used to dealing with interactions from complete strangers and as a young man living within the Singaporean society, all the more these excuses actually seem like valid reasons for me to not approach a woman.

Back when I was still starting to make sense of the dynamics between men and women, I found myself giving lots of excuses. Like one of my early mentors, Val, would tell you, I would go out for 4-5 hours on some days and not do a single approach. I was always waiting for the right moment.  My inexperience was what caused my mind to wander and make me nervous. The truth is, in those seemingly “perfect” moments, there was a very real chance that things were not as perfect as I thought they were. It was very possible that a girl who was alone and bored (2 positive requisites for a successful interaction) was actually having some alone time and does not want to be disturbed.

In my experience thus far, I’ll strongly believe : There is no perfect moment.

So what should I do?

There are many ways in which a person can solve this problem (drink alcohol, getting someone to push them, drug abuse etc.). But I want to share with you my personal and most favorite solution.

Challenge your assumptions. Developing a good understanding of the dynamics between men and women (which is what TDD specializes in) will help immensely. The more knowledge I had, the clearer things became and the more confident I was. With this new found knowledge and confidence, it was a lot easier to approach a woman despite these assumptions I had in my head.

Be comfortable with success and failure. There is no such thing as PERFECTION. If you have been thinking that there will be a magic pill out there that will bring you instant success with women, let me smash that belief for you right now : There isn’t. As rare as they are, I am not ashamed to admit it : there are times where I did not have a successful interaction. These times are usually due to logistics and matters I can not control. What I do is this : Celebrate from the successes, learn the lessons from the failures and move on.

And here’s where it gets better…

The more I actually approached women successfully, the more it cemented the lesson in my head that all these assumptions were just my mind’s way of protecting my ego. I realised that most of the time, all these assumptions turn out to be false. In fact, as I practiced further, I realised that even if my assumptions proved to be right, by the law of X=X, it turned out that my undeniable good-vibe made the woman commit to an interaction with me. With the addition of my high-level awareness, I was more than capable of continuing the interaction very smoothly because I knew the dynamics of a good Macro Plan thus enabling me to make spontaneous decisions and enable me to give the women what they wanted : DIRECTION.

I adopt this same belief to all aspects of my life. Challenging assumptions also helps your life become less complicated. Most of the time, we already know whether or not we want to escalate things with women or with a task at hand. It is all these assumptions that cause unnecessary worry and hold us back. Knowing that there is not perfect moment and that failure and success are all very realistic possibilities no matter what, I choose to act. It is better to take a chance and gain a learning lesson from it than to not take one at all and regret.

You know what you want. Now push aside all these assumptions and just take action to make it yours!

Now, let me just say this.  I have never felt the need to dedicate a post to Roissy because we all know (in his many pathetic, repeated blog posts dedicated to me) that is exactly what he wants.  He wants to be the “dark villain” and the “dangerous man”.  Sadly, most women can see upon reading a few words of his that he is not a dangerous nor scary man.  He’s a sad, lonely, 40’s-something guy…..stuck in a big city…..where he just can’t keep up with the competition  (please refer to what he looks like and what he WEARS as a man his age to see what I am referring to).

*I am interested to see if Roissy “takes it like a man” or shrieks like a schoolgirl and demand it be removed.  ( I say this because Roissy has felt free to find and post photos of me, my family, my personal info, and anything else he can find to “call me out”).  I wonder if the “dishee” can also take it.*

This is a man who claims to be a Master of Seduction, a Jesus-Like Savior of (wimpy) men, a Colossus of Gaming, and of course an all around “Ladies Man”.

He extols the virtues of dodging child support payments, physically intimidating your wives & girlfriends to “keep them in line”, and even encourages men to “raw-dog” it and have as much unprotected sex as you possibly can (gross….can you say STD’s and MORE babies in foster care???).

Unfortunately, the men he is preying upon don’t realize that he is NOT out to help them, NOT out “offer advice”, but out ONLY to reassure himself in his aging, middle-aged, desperation…..that ANYONE still wants to hear what he has to say.

You all know the expression “Well….if I’m going down….I’m taking everyone with me.”  THAT is exactly what Roissy’s “Game” advice to men is.  It’s like the crack under a recovering crack-heads nose…….the “miracle diet pill” to the lifetime Anorexic……and the walking, talking ENABLER of the further decline of modern men in today’s society.  He encourages men to go back to the “id”…..the caveman inside themselves…….and care about nothing but eating, sleeping, and fucking.

Every step that man has taken forward in the world, Roissy helps them to take a step back.  For every man who DOES have discipline and character (and self-control)……Roissy helps to enable 10 more NOT to be.

The chauvinism, arrogance, and cock-obsessed points aside……Roissy is a living breathing example of the stereotype that many men have been trying to not be a part of:  drooling, horny, pussy-obsessed, “cocks-on-wheels” with not a thought in their head except finding a warm-hole.  (Pardon the nasty expression, but that is the main thought process of men like these).

Anyway…..I received an email directly from a mysterious (and generous) Miss X.  This is evidently a woman who feels much the same way that I do and is tired of witnessing this sort of degradation in our society as whole.

*OH, JIM…….LOL…..what does one even say about this?  Other than the fact that a 41 year old “finance-nerd” who dresses like he’s a 21 year old emo-prep college-boy.  The fact that he constantly berates women and evidently LIES about his age even to his own readership is really rather funny.  I recall so many articles talking about how “young hot women just LOVE old, pasty gross men” and now I know why he’s so desperate to get other men to believe this kind of thing.

Update:  Much like I expected….some of Roissy’s shrieking henchman came here telling me I have “stepped over the line”.  For a bit on the “history”….this is the first time I have published a “post about Roissy” on my blog.  Roissy has published at least 6 or more posts specifically about me.  Containing personal photos of me AND MY son….which is “unsavory” in the first place.  But he then continued over the past 6 months to try to slander me, give out personal info (like mentioning the town I live in as often as he can) and worst of all posts porno videos and says that it is ME in the video (and isn’t.)  He has publicly posted lies on his blog accusing me of prostitution AND pornography and attached my photos to the (complete lies) he is telling.

I never really bothered posting about it here on my blog, because anyone who knows me in real life knows those things aren’t true and are ridiculous…..but that doesn’t change the fact that Roissy likes to go and play in people’s lives and slander innocent people for his own amusement and to up his blog stats without remorse and without even having  a good motive to do it.  Just because it gets him attention.

Aber nochmal: wenn Du die Möglichkeit bekommst, mit einer sehr hübschen Frau ungestört einige Minuten zu reden, kannst Du das Ruder wenden…

Swinggcat has laughed real world seduction 2. I have read “Real World Seduction” and it is possibly the best book I have ever read with regard to picking up woman.

Lets just say that Swinggcat really does not disappoint with his latest book. His concepts of push-pull and prizability are so deadly that I reckon even some hunch back with 1 leg could pick up a girl using his technique.

Why is it so good? Human nature, people want to be wanted and when you immediately disqualify the girl and make out as if you are the prize, then pull her in, and push her away…. you will leave her completely hooked (or confused- which is a good thing) to the idea of wanting you.

The secret is that you apply to the girls “EGO”, she feels she has to get you to prove a point and the more you pull her in and push her away the more emotionally attached she gets. She invests emotions…. think about it, when people invest- they want to see a return!

that’s the only way to describe it! Its one of those concepts that’s deeply rooted in psychology. People want what they can’t have and people want to know what they don’t understand. That’s why it works.  Later I will give you a few examples of how to make it work.

Push pull is teasing, it presents something to someone then you pull it away as the person almost has it. By definition push pull is pulling in a girl emotionally, by a certain action, and then pushing her away with another.

Push-Pull Example #1 (Pick Up Example)

I grabbed a woman’s hand and said, you have the most amazing smile I’ve seen tonight It makes me feel so happy inside!

She responded with, thank you!

Then I counted the fingers on my other hand and said, you know what: actually there were four other girls with really amazing smiles tonight as well. Out of them, you have the fourth best smile. I’m going to call you number four.

And then I pushed away her hand.

She demanded, Nooo! I want to be number one!

And I replied, Alright, I’ll promote you to number three for being feisty.

Push-Pull Example #2 (Sarcasm)

A woman replied sarcastically to something I said.

So I said to her, “You know… you’re pretty sarcastic… and some people might think you’re mean because they don’t get your sarcasm. But I think your sarcasm is cool because I’m the same way. I’m also sarcastic. And that’s exactly why you and I could never hang out. ‘Cause if we did we’d have the best time making fun of everyone in our environment at their expense. And that’d be karmicly bad ’cause then all the people we made fun of would have low self esteem.”

She responded with, “Nooo. We have to hang out. You’re giving me your number right now.”

I challenged a woman to kiss me… and she did.

So I said, “You’re more adventurous than I thought. You get an A-. And you have permission to cook me dinner.”

She retorted with, “What type of food do you want me to cook you?”

Women Get Aroused Differently Than Men!

For most women, it’s a huge turn on when a man gets them all hot and bothered… and then stops touching them, making them anticipate his touch… and then starts again, exponentially increasing their arousal.

This is exactly the same as the underlying structure of Push-Pull…

And probably why many women are natural Push-Pull artists.

And as you saw with the examples above…

Push-Pull can be used to generate arousal and attraction inside women before you ever become intimate with them (A truism most men don’t realize).

I want you to do something…

Touch your arm with your hand very lightly, as if it were a feather… and then take your hand away.

If you did it right you’ll feel an itching sensation.

Touch your arm again lightly… and then take your hand away.

The itching sensation should have increased, yes?

Push-Pull has the same structure.

Whenever you emotionally Pull a woman into you and then Push her away… and then Pull her in… and so on, you’re creating inside her a sexual and emotional itch to want and reach and chase for more of you.

If you do this in a playful way, women won’t see you as a manipulative jerk.

They’ll instead…

* See you as charming and attractive.
* Perceive you as a Prize they must possess.
* Know that you’re one of the few coveted men that understand what arouses and attracts women.

The last thing I wanna say is this : Manage your expectations. Believe me, I have the ability to train you to date almost all kinds of girls. Models, celebrities, socialites, you name it. X = X, a quality man will date a quality girl and vice versa. You cannot expect to be that be-spectacled turd with bad hair and over-sized clothing and still expect to hold on to a quality girl. If you say other people can promise you that, go to them. But one thing is for sure, I can train you to make that happen, without a doubt.

Direct Natural Game is Defined as

An approach to pickup at woman where the PUA shows direct interest in a target, rather than hiding or implicitly stating his intentions, as in indirect game.

Direct game is probably the most powerful way of approaching woman, because it cuts out all the bullshit and makes you vulnerable to rejection, which is attractive to the girl you are trying to pickup.  The reason I like it is because It saves you a lot of time, If a girl isnt interested she will bat you right from the begining- there is no wasting time on an interaction that isn’t going anywhere.

Direct game often begins right with the Direct Opener. (Rather than using an opinion opener or some other indirect opener) to start a conversation about some random topic, in direct game, the pick up artist will often make their intentions known right from the get go. A typical direct opener might go something like:

“Hey, Im Tom- Nice to Meet you?”

or

“Hey, I noticed you from across the room, I wanted to come say hi”

A big factor of direct game is Body Language- Body Language is the make or break when you directly go up to a girl and open her. It is also possible for a PUA to use seductive eye contact to open a girl and let her know that he is interested in her sexually, and immediately begin kino escalating.

When is Direct Game Most Effecive?

Direct game is usually most effective during the day (i.e Day Game)! when women are not usually approached by random guys, rather than night game, where girls are often hit on directly by drunk men all night. Most PUAs consider direct game to be just one of the many tools in their pickup arsenal, and use it according to the social situation.

I personally recommend Direct Game over Indirect Game any day of the week!

i’m not so sure i agree with this. it’s one of the few statements in Strauss’s book that made me pause, re-read, and think, “i just don’t know about that.” you take two people—male/female, female/female, male/male—and sure you could say that person A gave person B the option to choose them. but person B could also see it that way. that statement gives entirely too much power to one person. both parties in a relationship have an equal chance to choose or refuse the other, at any point in the relationship. i mean, neil chose lisa but lisa also chose him. he chose her to try the whole monogamous-make-a-real-relationship-work thing; not isabel or jennifer 1 or jennifer 2 or hailey or any other of the 1000s of girls he met. he chose lisa to try it with. and lisa eventually reciprocated that feeling. she gave him an opportunity to chose her just like he gave her an opportunity to chose him. but its not as simple as the woman always chooses the man in a heterosexual relationship. both parties choose each other and both parties present the opportunity to choose to the other person. i think that that statement stems partially from the AFC mentality Strauss talks about—or widespread human mentality in my opinion—that basically says “Of course i’d choose her/him, but i am not good enough to be chosen so all i can do is hope that she/he chooses me, all i can do is present her/him with the opportunity to choose me.” that whole line of thinking is completely opposite of the mentality PUA supposedly develop, completely opposite of all the best things Strauss learned from the Seduction Sub-culture.

for me personally, you could say that frankie only presented me with an opportunity to choose him in february. but i see it as him picking me, choosing me, opening my eyes to the possibility of my life with him in it. you could see it either way. but i just don’t think its as simple as one person choosing the other. people choose each other and continue choosing each other, whether its for a day, a night, a weekend, months, years, or a lifetime.

How did the Story End????

I Went over to her house she cooked me dinner, put on a DVD and closed her on the couch. She asked me to stay the night and I said no, she has been emailing/smsing me ever since then.

Important things to remember is that I was just very chilled with her, even though there were stages where I made my Intensions known. As soon as I got to her house I kissed her… just to make her feel comfortable… the rest is history. Hope u get some value out of this

I Piani Urbanistici Attuativi dunque, costituiscono una specifica al PUC, attuando interventi mirati a porzioni ben definite di territorio comunale. Sono dunque piani esecutivi. Il più importante in vigore attualmente per la citta di napoli è il PUE di Bagnoli (area soggetta, come precedentemente detto, ad una Variante Occidentale al PRG), approvato dalla Giunta Comunale il 16 Maggio 2005, che specifica le scelte della Variante, ne definisce la precisa collocazione territoriale e quantitativa ed esplicita i contenuti economici dell’iniziativa di riqualificazione, confermando e riqualificando l’obiettivo che il Comune di Napoli ha da tempo assunto per la riconversione di Bagnoli e che anche la Variante afferma con chiarezza: costituire nell’area industriale dismessa di Coroglio un insediamento a bassa densità, connotato da un’alta qualità ambientale, nel quale trovino posto funzioni anche altamente rappresentative per il rinnovamento di Napoli.

E’ proprio l’articolo 7 comma 3 della variante Occidentale al PRG di Napoli che rimanda alla consultazione di un piano particolareggiato esecutivo (PUE) per la suddetta area.

Grown ups are so funny, aren’t they?  Anyway, on with the show.  Day 2’s challenge was to meet five strangers and look deep into their eyes and try to figure out what eye color they are.  Well, I didn’t end up doing it that day for whatever reason.  I think it was because it was getting late and I had work to do.  But I did make up for it.

Day 3’s challenge included me having to caveman it.  Which pretty much means don’t shower, don’t shave, and just look like a caveman.  Since, I didn’t do the previous days assignment, I just combined the two and went to the mall/town center we have over here to meet new people.  Drenched in sweat from coming from working out at the gym, I decided to just get the assignment done because it would make it more of a challenge and because I wasn’t allowed to shower anyway.

Nothing really interesting to note though.  I do now smell like Sweet Pea, Cucumber Melon, Vanilla Twilight, and some other crazy stuff from my quick visit to Bath & Body Works.  Most of the stuff smelled like something a mid-40 year old woman would drench her bathroom in.  But all in all, I stopped off at four different places, and talked to probably around 7 people (mostly because I wanted to get a more varied eye color than just brown).  End result: Brown, Brown, Brown, Hazel (I don’t know what color Hazel but it sounds like it fits), and another bluish-greenish type of color.

I’m actually running a little behind on the challenges. I still need to complete the voice exercises that are assigned.  And then I need to call three random people on the phone and ask for them to recommend a movie for me to go see.  I’ll try and record the conversation and if it’s worth posting you all might have something to laugh at.  I think I’ll reserve Day 4’s challenge for when I go out on Saturday.  It involves meeting more strangers.  Until then, PEACE!

Recap of Day 1:

I forgot to mention yesterday that Mission 2 of Day 1 involved me opening five strangers.  While that never really seemed to be a problem for me, I figured if I’m going to do this I might as well follow step for step just to see if this works.  So I cheated a little bit.  My job calls on me to open complete strangers, sometimes at least 20 a day.  I did try to take it a step further though and create small talk conversation and there really is nothing worth mentioning.

I did open this one HB 6-7, (Question: Are they still called HB’s if they are 6?  Because that seems kind of contradictory.)  who was in her 20s and talked to her for a while.  I did receive a few IOI’s as she was initially working with someone else but ditched him for my assistance.  I tossed in a few negs here and there but nothing really too serious.

The highlight of the exchange was that there was this man who knew the girl, I assume he was a friend’s father.  As I type this I realize now that I should have said, “How do you two know each other?”  But I think I picked that up when they were talking.  I did continue the conversation with both of them for a few minutes but I really didn’t close at all.  I couldn’t help but think that the father was trying to get some from his daughter’s friend since he stuck around.

Well, lets get on with the show.

Day 2 involves answering more questions.  This time goal related:

1.  What three accomplishments would you like to achieve to make you happier?

Getting my career started in something that I want to do.

Moving to the west coast where girls don’t need to layer their clothing to stay warm.

Getting my social life back in order.

2.  What are the reasons these accomplishments will make you happier?

(Shit, I know this routine.)  I will become more independent and I would be doing things that I enjoy and that I want to do.

3.  What is your personal mission?

I will become my greatest self (my role) who will take on the world (my claim to fame) with 3 days/weeks/years. (I don’t think I did this one right.)

4.  List three specific results that will let you know that you’ve accomplished your mission.  (For example, “I will have earned $200,000,” “I will have lost thirty pounds,” or “I will have won five Academy Awards.”)

1. I will have earned (action verb) $1,000,000 (number) by the time I am 30. (aspect)

2. I will have hit up (action verb) at least 2 (number) HB 10s.  (aspect)

3. I will have found (action verb) 1 job (number) that makes me want to be there.   (aspect)

5.  Why are you now fully committed to pursuing your personal mission?

Life is too short to let it pass you by without trying to get the most out of it.

Because if I don’t pursue it now, I will continue to suffer over the next years and

• my social life will decrease/get worse/fail
• my career will decrease/get worse/fail
• my impact in this world will decrease/get worse/fail

But if I do pursue it now, I will enjoy the next years and

• my dreams will increase/improve/come true
• my quality of girlfriend will increase/improve/come true

Introduction:

Yesterday I went to Borders to pick up a book by Neil Strauss called Rules of the Game.  I figure, my life is pretty dull as of late and I need something to spark it up.  So why not divulge myself into the world of pickup?  Plus I need a new hobby so why not make it girls.  I do have to say that I am doing this for pure entertainment value only and I do have experience with the fairer sex so this isn’t exactly Austin Kutcher’s, Beauty and the Geek, show.

If you’re not familiar with Neil Strauss, he is the author of the New York Times Bestseller, The Game, which takes us into the world of pickup and tells us how he grew to become known as the greatest pickup artist in the world.  Perhaps you’re more familiar with the TV show on VH1 staring Mystery called, The Pickup Artist.  So today begins Day 1 of the Stylelife Challenge in which I will probably be doing some crazy, uncomfortable stuff, and I’ll write about my experiences and challenges here.  Anyway, so begins the day:

Day 1:

Today, I’m supposed to evaluate myself.  Here are my answers:

1.  Write one or two sentences describing how you believe other people currently perceive you.

Other people probably perceive me as someone who is mysterious and likes to joke around.

2.  Write one or two sentences describing how you would like to be perceived by others.

I would like other people to perceive me as someone who can make anything happen and see me as a more confident person.

3.  List three of your behaviors or characteristics you would like to change.

Style – I understand what looks good but it all pretty much looks the same.

Create better conversations with a total stranger – I’m not sure how to create and maintain an interesting conversation with someone who is a complete unknown.

Closing – I need to close interactions better.  Whether it’s leaving on a high or just getting a number.

4.  List three new behaviors or characteristics you would like to adopt.

Eliminate shyness – I want to be able to walk up to anybody regardless of who they are and open with interesting things instead of small talk.

Leave on a high – I am able to do this occasionally, but not enough for my liking.

Higher level of self confidence

Dang, all of this makes me seem like a weak type of person.  Lets just make something clear, I routinely beat people up in my dreams at night.  So Chuck Norris better watch his back because who knows what might happen when I close my eyes.
