Déjà fin novembre, plus une seule feuille sur les arbres, le vent qui souffle fort, les jours qui se raccourcissent… des conditions parfaites pour rester bien au chaud chez soi et se vautrer dans le fauteuil avec un bon film en dvd ! C’est là que nous intervenons pour un petit débroussaillage des nouveautés fiction qui débarquent chaque semaine dans nos rayons.

Et pour commencer, j’ai envie de dire “deux Christian Bale, sinon rien”…  car nous avons effectivement reçu deux films avec cet acteur, qui, souvenez-vous, avait fait sa petite impression dans  le dernier épisode de Batman : Dark knight. Alors, Public enemies de Michael Mann ou Terminator : renaissance de Joseph McGinty Nichol ? Le choix est difficile, quoi que, l’adaptation de la vie de John Dilinger, l’un des plus grands criminels de tous les temps (incarné ici par Johnny Depp) et mis en scène par le réalisateur de Insider, Heat ou encore  Collateral semble le plus tentant (et plus grand public aussi). Cela étant dit, Terminator n’est pas un second choix (je l’ai visionné hier soir) mais pêche un peu sur le redondant du jeu du “si je viens du futur pour aller dans le passé, est-ce que je ne vais pas modifier mon présent ?“. Effectivement, John Connor doit protéger son père plus jeune que lui pour pouvoir dans Terminator 1 l’envoyer dans le passé afin de rencontrer sa mère… Par contre, pour les amateurs du genre, pas de temps morts (trop peu peut-être que pour bien placer l’histoire ) et une bonne dose d’univers post-apocalyptique.

Sinon, nous vous proposons aussi deux comédies :

Penelope de Mark Palansky : Penelope est une jeune fille qui, sous le coup d’un mauvais sort, se voit affublée d’un nez de cochon. Pour déjouer ce sort, elle doit épouser un garçon de la noblesse, chose pas très facile lorsque ses prétendants s’évanouissent face à son visage… Une fable romantico-comique sur la différence physique, tournée comme un conte de fée moderne. Un univers qui n’est pas sans rappeler celui de Tim Burton. Avec Christina Ricci qui a du chien nez.

Erreur de la banque en votre faveur de Michel Munz et Gérard Bitton. Une comédie française emmenée par Jean-Pierre Darrousin et Gérard Lanvin et où l’on retrouve le thème prépondérant de ces deux réalisateurs scénaristes, à savoir la force de la solidarité contre le pouvoir de l’argent : voir Ah, si j’étais riche, La Vérité si je mens.

Enfin, un film argentin, La Marea de Diego Martinez Vignatti et un portrait de femme en deuil. Une oeuvre qui semble assez sombre, organique et intimiste. A découvrir.

  When John Dillinger – perhaps the most notorious of the American gans professionals who created the obese headlines during the 1930s depression – robbing banks with his well-coordinated band of robbers, he lets clients’ money and valuables be.

The reason is not primarily one of solidarity with poor people, just good business sense. Professional ethics are at the same time a life insurance policy. Between guys must Dillinger have nowhere to go, and after nearly a decade in prison, he is too hungry for good things in life to serve and hit in a cabin in the woods somewhere. Every moment of freedom is precious, and therefore he must be free to move out among the masses in the big cities.

Authorities may call him a public enemy, but in the masses, many people perceive Dillinger as a people’s representative in the fight against a corrupt establishment, a rebel who takes the only viable shortcuts to wealth and the silver lining in life which otherwise is well beyond the reach of the man on the street.

At every major collection of curious and admiring spectators in large numbers, after each escape or rescue mission, he always faithful friends to rest at. Dillinger is a media star in stjärnkultens and celebrity press early childhood. In addition, he is his own media strategist who cherished relationship with the audience. The dubious reputation makes him just so much more exciting.

Johnny Depp plays Dillinger with a restrained but clearly visible beneath the surface hardness: charismatic and delivery and courteous, but always cat-like vigilance, ready to mark its seriousness, emphatically, if necessary. In the naked self-interest is, however, an almost naive loyalty to the immediate environment. Director Michael Mann sneaks into a mild streak of romanticizing of this dark gangster poem, which emphasizes that Dillinger is active during a tumultuous period of transition.

The classic gangster and the spectacular bank wafers are becoming obsolete. Land Overrun syndicates have begun to engage in crime on an industrial scale, which requires maximum discretion. The old contacts begin to contact Dillinger back: he creates adverse attention. And when the network is crumbling, he becomes progressively more vulnerable. In the end, he has nowhere to hide, and the federal police could shoot him in the street in July 1934th

Another piquant point here is that the FBI also has worked as a media-driven strategists. When a power-hungry J Edgar Hoover (played by Billy Crudup) may not be requested appropriation by Congress, he moves the conflict to the media and leaking details of unpopular politicians to Walter Winchell, the modern skvallerspaltens godfather.

Michael Mann elegantly captures the many ironic nuances of subject matter, as he captures the mutual fascination between Hollywood and the gangster world. And he conserve so nicely with their style of funds: Public Enemies is a dark mosaics, fragments of violent poetry that image may be a deeper resonance in a reassuring solid structures.

I don’t know about anyone else but a story that was probably started in someones head on the internet has been saturated beyond belief now. I get Google Alerts all day everyday if a story about Johnny pops up and the last 3 days OMG! It has been a non stop deluge of stories about sex scenes or should I say “possible” sex scenes that “may” happen between Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie IF the rumors are true about them both doing the movie The Tourist which apparently has had serious issues with getting off the ground. So really the likelihood of this actually being true…. probably “slim and none”.

First of all Johnny has so many projects lined up squeezing another in is almost impossible.. Second… I may be in the minority but I just can’t see and don’t really want to see a pairing of Johnny and Jolie. Johnny being one of the most non public people (meaning he doesn’t like the attention would rather be just treated like everyone else) thinking about doing a film with someone that seems to want to be the center of attention and drags her children in it too is just weird… I think..
The news wire on the internet is like a huge regurgitating monster!! I think anyone can start anything.. rumor wise and within a 5 hour period it will start to multiply worse then rabbits and pretty soon it’s all you can hear about someone!! 2 days ago a small “rumor” started about Jolie and Depp signing up for this movie… today.. it’s the only google alert out there!!! So far I have not read anything that denies or confirms by Depp’s camp.. I for one.. no matter that I am always happy to see him on the big screen… don’t want this to come to fruition… at least not with Angelina Jolie…. Maybe Vanessa could do it… ?? Just a thought……………….
Most amazing thing.. I just saw on MSN.com that they too are buying into what is up to this point.. still a rumor.. Nothing has been verified by the Depp camp. The she said he said mentality just doesn’t fly if you are supposed to be reporting the “news”.

Starring Amy Adams and Meryl Streep and based on the popular best seller. This movie actually cost me a jacket — and a nice jacket at that! I was watching them film a scene on the 7th avenue subway platform and leaned up against a post that had been freshly painted — YELLOW! Damn you MTA, and my unabashed curiosity!

Honestly, what’s left to be said about this gem? Two documentaries and a commentary by writer Ernest Lehman, for which alone it’s worth picking up!

1,5 poäng från VG på tentan. Hade det varit lite mer hade det känts mer rättvist men just nu blir jag lite sur, men bara lite. Ska kolla igenom tentan och se till så att de inte har missat något. Men men, innerst inne tror jag att jag är ganska glad att jag klarade den!

I övrigt så har jag myst med film idag. Såg ju först Public Enemies, vilken kanonrulle! Sedan kollade jag på den animerade filmen 9. Rätt läskig för att vara animerad och det var många delar som påminde om andra actionfilmer som inte är animerade. Men en annorlunda film som jag tyckte var helt okej.

Ikväll har jag suttit med en rapport som jag och mina gruppkamrater ska opponera på. Ska alltså kolla igenom den och se vad som är bra och dåligt med den. Ganska svårt när jag inte har någon aning om vad som är bra och dåligt. Jämför väl som bara med det vi har gjort, för tydligen så tycker vi ju inte att det blir bättre än så nu när vi läst igenom den typ tusen gånger.

Imorgon blir det en träff med gruppen för att snacka om opponeringen, köpa biljetter till sittningen Christmas Gone Bad och sen blir det en fika på stan med Jennifer. Kanske lite filmmys i sängen sen, och än så länge är bara jag inbjuden. Då var det ju lite dåligt att jag åt upp min sista popcornpåse till middag idag. Dietisten i mig vet att det är så fel, men när man inte känner för att laga nån redig middag så får man äta popcorn säger den mänskliga delen av mig. Att jag dessutom hällde i mig en STOR kopp kaffe till det är ju också lite komiskt.

Har pratat med min far och mor ikväll också. Pappa hade visst haft besök av typ arbetsmiljöinspektionen eller vad det heter. Som vanligt så får de lite skäll. Han ska komma hit och julhandla med mig och det blir ju superkul! Mamma var jag bara tvungen att ringa till och kolla så att hon var okej efter allt som hänt. Men det känns tryggt att veta att hon har min syster och fina vänner där hemma som tar hand om henne nu när hon kanske behöver det lite extra.

Nu ska jag äta en apelsin och kolla teve. Hå hå! Hej!

I’m watching “Arizona Dream” (for like, the tenth time) and I suddenly remembered sitting in the theater this summer, watching “Public Enemies”, and seeing a policewoman appear on screen and going, “Hey, that’s Lili Taylor!”

And having my mind explode.

I wanted to tell someone – anyone – but my friends were still trying to understand the plot that I had conveniently already familiarized myself with by reading the book.

Because lo and behold, here I am watching “Arizona Dream” and it’s Johnny Depp and Lili Taylor in one of my favorite movies and KABLAMM there they are in “Public Enemies”, Johnny Depp is the slkfjslkjw huge star of the movie and Lili Taylor’s in there too and it’s like an inside joke that nobody gets because “Arizona Dream” was deemed too weird to be released in the US.

Public Enemies written by Michael Mann, Ronan Bennett and Ann Biderman is drawn from bestseller of Bryan Burrough (the Italian edition published by Sperling Kupfer) and narrates of a country, the States, during the crisis of `the
29, while the bands of brave cold blood’s gangster running with fast car for the cities roads armed of powerful and automatic weapons ,heisting banks and destroying keeping books loans like modern Robin Hood. These will be destined to be confronted with the reaction of Washington and baby FBI with to head a young person and unscrupulous director, Edgar J.Hoover (Billy Crudup) and agent Melvin Purvis (a stoic Christian Bale). Goes to to Colleen Atwood (already costume designer in Manhunter)the task ,does in excellent way because it becomes woven novellistic, to dress the personages of this film, sons of a casting at least fabulous: concept can be condensed with the face of the characther of Charles Winstead (interpreted from Stephen Lang). The production design, carefully splendid, are by Nathan Crowley (Dark Knigh,Batman Begins, Escape from L.A.) while in phase of pre-production the research work in location sees engaged, like always, Bravo photographer Gusmano Cesaretti that is also in dresses of Co-producer. There is who has compared Michael Mann to an author who prepares itself as Rembrandt and executes like Picasso others like Caravaggio that then is transformed in a Kandinsky, but what is the painting if not the main source through which the cinema he expresses himself visually? Interesting and true concept because in observing some they works have understood the visual process of Michael Mann. A visual and novellistic course ,that one of Mann,made by  a identification’s cinema (the scene of the Biograph Theater is a magum opus), revoluzionized  with ALI, stilized from Collateral and Miami Vice where Hi Def is contemporary phenomenon, witness of the change of our way to frame(shot) the images and transported in years 30’s it works to the perfection and that clean our preconcept been born from the repertory of sgranate, dirty images, sometimes sepia or black white images (than Mann it cites with a editing game during the scene of the extradition in Indiana), and far away from the reasoning that who it has lived those times and places has lived them  to colors and in the high definition of our eye.

ท่าน ว. เคยดูละครเรื่องตี๋ใหญ่ไหมขอรับ กระผมเพิ่งดูหนังเรื่อง “ศัตรูของรัฐ” (Public Enemies) จบไปเป็นรอบครึ่ง รอบแรกดูผ่านๆ ครับ-ไม่ประทับใจนัก ผะเอิ้น! คำพูดสุดท้ายของ ตี๋ใหญ่แห่งชิคาโก นาม จอห์น ดิลิงเจอะ (John Dillinger) แท้เทียว ผมจึงต้องกลับไปเริ่มต้นดูใหม่อย่างตั้งใจในรอบนี้

จอห์น ดิลิงเจอะ มีความเป็นมาอย่างไร เรียนอะไร พ่อแม่สั่งสอนหรือไม่ ในหนังไม่ได้ว่าไว้ครับท่าน (ผมว่า) เพราะผู้กำกับให้น้ำหนักตรงนี้อ่อนไป เขาจึงเป็นได้แค่ตี๋ใหญ่ หาใช่ฮีโร่อย่างที่ผู้กำกับคาดให้เป็น

ไม่ว่าจะมีที่มาอย่างไร, ในปี 1933 ยุคเศรษฐกิจล้มคว่ำ จอห์น ดิลิงเจอะ ตั้งหน้าตาปล้นธนาคารเป็นสนานท์ จนรัฐบาลมอบตำแหน่ง “ศัตรูของรัฐ” อย่างเป็นเรื่องเป็นราว ว่ากันว่า เพราะเขานี่เอง “เรา(สหรัฐฯ)จึงมี FBI” – ส่วนเรา(ไทย)จึงมี DSI ด้วยประการฉะนี้

ระหว่างการไล่ล่าและติดตามได้แค่เงาของจอมโจรปล้นแบงค์, FBI จับ“เด็ก”ของเขาอย่างง่ายดาย (อ่อนอีกแล้วใช่ไหม?) บนถนนยามค่ำคืน ฉากตี๋ใหญ่ไปช่วยคนรักไม่ทัน ถึงกับหลั่งน้ำตา หนังทำให้แลดูเหมือนว่า เขารู้ตัวจะหายใจได้อีกไม่นาน … “จะดีกว่าหากจะจากโลกนี้ไปอย่างแมนๆ” เขาคิด

“Bye-bye, black bird” (ลาก่อนแม่นกกระจิบของพี่!?!) นั่นเป็นคำพูดพร้อมลมหายใจสุดท้ายของ จอห์น ดิลิงเจอะ หลังโดน FBI เป่าทิ้งหน้าโรงหนัง โทษฐานเป็นศัตรูของรัฐ!

หรือเขาตั้งใจฝากคำ(สุดท้าย)ไว้ เสียดีกว่าจากไปอย่างไร้ชื่อ … และเสียง – ซาบ แต่ไม่ซึ้ง ผมสรุปของผมอย่างนั้น

ท่านไพศาลกล่าวโยงไปถึงโรคไข้หวัด H1N1 กับการรักษา “ปอดของผู้ตายถูกทำลายก็เพราะการโจมตีของเม็ดเลือดขาวนานาชนิดที่ตื่นตกใจ เมื่อรู้ว่ามีไวรัสแปลกปลอมเข้ามา โปรตีนที่เกิดจากเม็ดเลือดขาวเหล่านี้รวมทั้งเอ็นไซม์นานาชนิดถูกระดมเพื่อ จัดการกับไวรัส

There is so much more to a man being “sexy” then the way he looks. A truly sexy man has more layers and more qualities other then being gorgeous. Some of them all they have to do it open their mouth and sexy leaves the room!! Not sure why People Magazine has such a bad track record on the Sexiest Man Alive issue.. They have only been right twice so far as long as they have been doing it.
Johnny Depp has been chosen this year to make him one of three that have been chosen twice… Now the question is… WHY WHY WHY were the other two chosen twice before Johnny? Are they basically oblivious? I mean I really like George Clooney.. he’s great, Brad Pitt.. yeah.. very nice… But JOHNNY is the WHOLE package.. totally.. He is a sweet, humble, talented, gracious, loving, family man, smart, AND funny. And to top it all off.. ain’t too bad to look at either which is just a cherry on top..

To a “few” of us.. Johnny has been #1 for a very very long time.. and doesn’t appear that it is going to change…. ever…

Just one girls opinion…… hahaha!!!

Just yesterday, my friend Dan commented on how quiet I had been about the rapidly approaching premiere of “Twilight Saga: New Moon.”  (It’s midnight tonight, in case you’re wondering.)

I took this as a big compliment.  As an avid Twi-hard, I know I tend to chat up this particular franchise to anyone who displays even an iota of interest (i.e., breathes air), so I have tried not to belabor the topic here.

But today, guys, I gotta let loose…because an injustice of such magnitude has occurred, it cannot be ignored:

Robert Pattinson was not named People Magazine’s 2009 Sexiest Man Alive.

What the — wha?!??!

This is one year that pretty much everyone — and I mean everyone, not just Twi-hards — knew that Robert Pattinson had Sexiest Man Alive sewn up.  There was no real competition — that is, if you were looking at things from a topical, trend-driven, male, SEXY point of view.

And somehow the editors of  People still managed to screw it up.

Johnny Depp?  Gorgeous, yes.  He was Sexiest Man Alive back in 2003.  But this year?  Why this year?  His movie “Public Enemies” kinda tanked at the box office.  He did shoot “Alice in Wonderland” — which comes out in 2010 — but, seriously, which is sexier:  a vampire or the Mad Hatter?  Oh, and don’t forget the voice work he did for “Spongebob Squarepants” — wow, that’s hot.

Now, some would argue that naming Robert Pattinson Sexiest Man Alive this week would make it appear that People was part of the whole “Twilight” movie promotion machine.  A fine point.  Their magazine might get lost amongst all the other covers with RPatz right now.

But that’s thinking like a corporation.  You should publish for your audience.  And let me ask you, People Magazine — who would your readers say is the 2009 Sexiest Man Alive?  Johnny Depp because he needs a media bump before his new movie hits?  Or Robert Pattinson because he has dominated the imagination of movie goers for the past year?

I think we all know the answer.  And not giving the title to the most deserving man – that really sucks.

Stupisce, aggirandosi in rete, l’insospettabile numero dei cruscanti della pellicola. Quelli che, per esempio, sul board IMDB dedicato a Public Enemies, buttano lì che la fotografia in HD sembra quella di una ripresa matrimoniale, e che farebbero meglio loro con gli amichetti della scuola di cinema. Ma, a parte questi geni di cui siamo non poco curiosi di verificare le somme opere, il dibattito ferve appassionato (pur se non sempre appassionante), tra i cinefili, come tra gli addetti ai lavori.

C’è chi s’è affidato con entusiasmo alle nuove possibilità del mezzo, come i cercatori di verità ai tempi delle apparecchiature leggere in coincidenza della nascita della Nouvelle Vague. Pur se il primo fautore del paradigma digitale è stato George Lucas con la sua seconda (o prima) trilogia spaziale, la pregnanza formale delle riprese in hd va al di là di un’immaginario che si identifica con le CGI e il concetto di immagine totalmente plasmabile in postproduzione e non più dipendente dal profilmico. L’altro suo atout fondamentale, infatti, è proprio nella rivoluzione che introduce in fase di riprese, con la possibilità di girare una quantità di materiale prima impensabile, di alleggerire il parco luci, di avere subito a disposizione ciò che si è girato, perché – come dice FF Coppola – non è che sul set il regista debba per forza scontrarsi con gli stessi problemi di 50 anni fa. D’altronde c’è chi pensa, come Luca Bigazzi, che le difficoltà pratiche e il concetto di spreco legati alla pellicola, stimolano la concentrazione di chi è sul set, laddove una eccessiva facilitazione indurrebbe a una rilassatezza creativa. Opinione eticamente rispettabile (quanto quella dei montatori sospettosi sulle troppe alternative a buon mercato di tempo e fatica offerte dall’Avid). Ma andate a dirlo a Michael Mann che deve tirar fuori due ore e mezzo di film in tre mesi, e ha bisogno di tonnellate di ciak per raggiungere quello che vuole da ciascun take.

Le altre resistenze al paradigma digitale toccano invece in pieno il tasto stilistico. In un’arco che può andare da un Bong Joon-ho rispettoso degli esperimenti manniani ma troppo innamorato della pellicola per rinunciarvi, al rifiuto drastico di un Tarantino che spara a zero sulla nuova estetica, gettando dubbi sulle capacità artistiche di Dion Beebe (e ora penserà che pure Spinotti s’è rincoglionito, si suppone).

A noi pare che Mann sia l’unico cinesta ad aver capito fino in fondo le possibilità dell’HD di rivelare (disvelare) il reale. Public Enemies è come le candele di Barry Lindon che si fanno esperienza percettiva totale. Essere dentro un’altra epoca, dentro le sue frequenze atmosferiche, le sue onde di energia, con l’immagine a vibrare in perfetta risonanza. Dice tutto la prova di ripresa fatta in fase di preparazione: in pellicola, dice Mann, sembrava di vedere un film sugli anni 30, in digitale sembrava di essere negli anni 30. L’impatto visuale di PE è così clamoroso (e clamorosamente fraintendibile) perché si ha l’esatta impressione di aver squadernata di fronte una serie di frammenti di vita dell’epoca, immersi nel movimento sentimentale incessante che è il marchio di fabbrica manniano. Non è l’atmosfera ricostruita dei film in costume come li abbiamo conosciuti fino adesso. È (con la maggiore approssimazione possibile per un mezzo come il cinema) una tranche de vie in cui la Storia americana, lo schema di rise and fall del gangster movie, le brucianti accelerazioni action, si sciolgono nella cronaca “urgente” di qualcosa che avviene nel presente, testimone il pubblico. Noi, qui, adesso. Pare di percepire materialmente quel cielo azzurro sopra il penitenziario durante la fuga, quei chiaroscuri notturni nei boschi intorno a Little Bohemia, le nuvole di polvere lasciate dai pneumatici, le plumbee serate solitarie della Depressione, le chiazze di buio separate dai radi lampioni di Chicago, la dolce epifania di morte del sole che bacia Dillinger nella visita al commissariato, come nessun altro film mai è riuscito a restituire.

Il procedimento è sì quello già di Collateral, e ancor più Miami Vice: usare le fenomenali profondità di campo, la tattilità sensoriale, la presa totale sul reale dell’hd per immergere personaggi, ambienti, cose (spettatori) in un pulviscolo atomico di microsensazioni; infondere il massimo di vita e condurre al massimo di astrazione ogni inquadratura; spingere l’epica fenomenologica di Insider e Ali dentro un orizzonte vergine di conoscenza. Ma il tutto, applicato a un periodo storico passato e consacrato dalla mitologia filmica, è ancora più esplosivo, rivelatorio, nel perenne senso baziniano del cinema come macchina per rivelare la realtà.

Perciò lo showdown decisivo non è quello che coinvolge Winstead, Purvis e Dillinger fuori dal cinema, ma quello godardiano/bertolucciano che si svolge dentro il Biograph, quando Johnny Depp, fantasma digitale prossimo alla disincarnazione, si trova di fronte ai fantasmi in pellicola di Manhattan Melodrama (MM), rispecchiandosi nei baffi in b/n di Clark Gable, perdendosi nella rapsodia di pp di Mirna Loy dentro i cui occhi annega la pardita di Marion Cotillard: un faccia a faccia cinefilo decisivo ai confini e oltre la morte.

Mann è sempre stato un grande regista, ma il Mann digitale, per sintetizzare, è qualcosa in più. È qualcuno che sta osando indicare nuove strade alla sua arte, portandosi però appresso tutta la memoria di ciò che fu, un fardello inobliabile dove convivono Hawks e Antonioni, Rossellini ed Herzog, Peckinpah e Malick. È come quei tizi coi traccianti che fanno luce sulla pista all’arrivo dell’aereo che porta Dillinger in manette. Illumina il (nostro) futuro, riscoprendo (ancora una volta) la meraviglia di guardare al mondo.

I really believe that friends are very special and meant to be treasured and loved. Johnny Depp does it in this flaky “throw away” world we seem to be living in. While most change friends, wives, and husbands as fast as you change your underwear.. easily discarding people like yesterdays garbage, Johnny still has his best friends that he has known since he was about 12!! He still is tight with them, he brings them into his projects, which all in all I think he does so he can spend time with them more then anything else.

Tim Burton is one of his best friends and Johnny and Tim’s wife Helena co-chaired an event in New York City last night at the Museum of Modern Art where they are displaying all the incredible creations that come out of Tim’s brain. Now that one is a brain you could most definitely get lost in.. and it might be scary.
But the man is pure genius, and the team of Depp-Burton has created some of the most memorable characters in the film industry. The really cool thing is it looks like this exhibit shows the beginning stages of all of their collaborations.

Johnny really seems to rally around his friends and always is careful not to upstage them when it is the friends “time” not his. He comes… he supports… he loves… They really broke the mold with him…. DAMMIT!!!!
Last month he was presenting the award to Keith Richards at the Scream Awards, few months before that he was supporting Tim at the ComiCon Event in Los Angeles.
I’m not sure if I have ever seen anyone go to the lengths he does for his friends, family and fans… his 3 F’s!
He seems to hold those three groups close to his heart and appreciates everyone and everything he has.
So many could take a page from his book that is a given.

Un po’ una delusione. Mann è sempre bravo e il suo film è perfetto, ma appassiona poco.

3,2,1. A început. Cu tot corpul sunt prins în film chiar de la început. Mă aduce direct în sufletul anilor ‘30 dar totodată parcă trăiesc toate acţiunile. Un film cu o acţiune care te ţine în priză, rămâi fixat pe ce se întâmplă şi eşti nerăbdător să afli cum se termină.  O alergătură continuă, o acţiune dinamică şi nişte actori de excepţie.

Johnny Depp este John Dillinger, celebrul, şarmantul şi îndăazneţul jefuitor de bănci din America anilor ‘30, ajuns inamicul public numărul unu şi urmărit de un batalion de agenţi FBI conduşi de agentul Purvis. Erou al tuturor americanilor, satisfăcuţi că banditul jefuia exact băncile care-i blestemaseră cu greaua Depresiune, Dillinger reuşeşte câteva originale evadări din închisoare, dar şi să-i fure inima frumoasei Billie.

Dar totuşi parcă scenele alea romantice sunt puţine plictisitoare şi a durat ceva cam mult. Da’ pentru toate astea îi dau din toată inima nota 9.
