I think this champagne and bright purple color combination is absolutely fantastic!

I think the fabric on these sofa chairs is simply fantastic.

The dining room continues the color scheme from the living room of champagne and purple, the latter being a cooler tone. To distinguish the dining area from the living room in this open plan solution, another color is worked into the dining area; a deep turquoise.

I can’t help but enjoy a perfect open plan solution. It can be a challenge to create two separate spaces, which is still part of the same room. Jamie Drake has used both color and furniture style actively here. The dining room furniture is very modern.

A lovely calm and sophisticated bedroom with cream walls and carpets, accented by cold brown, white and peachy pinks.The medium stained wood furniture really brings warmth to this room.

The same room, with an ice cold make over. The walls have been painted a cold shade of blue, the furniture is light and bare, and the accessory color is a neutral white. The low headboard allows for a pretty winter landscape painting above the bed.

A cold jewel purple wall color is heated up by a warm tone of pink in this romantic country style bedroom. The bed has gone from wood to white metal. Frame-less mirrors in all shapes and sizes decorate the walls.

A very neutral tone of greige on the walls, with simple white furniture. And to save this room from bland-ness, the accessory color is a subtle yellow. Very pretty!

It strikes me what a huge difference the choise of furniture makes. The first and last room both have pretty neutral wall colors,  check out the difference! I think I prefer the first one. So, which style do you like the best?

The Disco:

Beige, white and black. That shiny wallpaper is real funky! The ceiling lamp is really disco-ball-ish.

The Funky:

Charcoal grey with white and a yellow shade of puke green (or is it a dirty yellow?)

The Shiny:

Aubergine, white and grey. I am not a fan of purple, but this looks great! Ultra shiny surfaces and straight lines. I would remove the spotlights in the ceiling though.

The Modern:

White, chrome, baby blue and dark wood.

Do you like the modern kitchens? I like the large easy-to keep-clean surfaces, but not so much the ultra modern look per se.

Would you ever consider this color combination for your home?

The problem is that most of the time, the plant looks like this:

There is an easy way to make your orchid look ‘ in bloom’ all year around, and it only takes a false orchid branch:

Just make sure you have to get this close to notice its fake, this will not look good if you boy the cheapest branch you find.

To make it look realistic, tie the false branch to the support-stick which originally supported the real branch, and you will have something that looks like this!
