Last night was incredible.  The amount of fun I had was retarded and it’s left me feeling light and motivated today.  However, the reason why I’m here writing now isn’t to discuss what I did last night or anything.  Naw, this here is a revelation unfolding.  You see, last night Erik, Joe, and I went to Evanston, IL on a random chance and after dinner when we went to the most ballin-ass coffeeshop I’ve ever entered, my dear friend Joan (and super stud Ben) joined up with us.

Now, Joan and I kinda lost each other for a while there.  I got caught up in my life, she got caught up in hers, and the only real means of communication we had was AIM- and it’s hard to get me going on AIM.  But then last night I discovered that the Purple line starts at the Library stop right by my house… goes to Belmont then shoooots all the way up to Howard without any stops in between.  What does this mean?  It takes MAYBE 30 minutes to reach Northwestern’s campus and see Joan.  And after last night’s reunion and how much fun I had with Joan from start to finish has already made me decide I’m dedicating more of my time to that girl.

One of the things that made me want to be more a part of her life was the obvious adoration she has for me.  When we got to her room I opened up a photo album she had and I was in probably half of the pictures.  And of the two photos she displays in a little case, one is of a big group, the other is her and I.  Ben was in 1 picture… I was in like, 6 or 7.  Seeing this really touched me and reminded me of how much Joan really does love me.  And after Joe and Erik told me how cute they thought she was, I got to say, “Yeah, I realllly am not attracted to her, she’s too much of a sister to me.”  You hear that?  Too much of a sister to me…

I really have nothing more to say.  Just wanted to mention that I’ve missed one of my best friends dearly and I’m glad we’re working on getting back on track with each other.  :)

It has taken me a while to get into this amazing group. I downloaded a ton of their music in August, but was more interested in Suju at the time, so I kind of blew them off. Sadly. Recently I was going back and I listened to their song Purple Line. Okay, this song is so hot! I’m completely obsessed with it, because it is one of the most danceable song I’ve ever heard. LOVE! It is because of this song alone that I’ve given DBSK a second chance and boy am I glad I did. They are pretty epic!

Tohoshinki fired up the crowds by appearing in the large-scale music event ‘a-nation ‘09’!
They sang 7 songs, including the hit single ‘どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう / Doshite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte shimattandaro [lit. Why did I fall in love with you?]’.
Not just female fans but also male spectators watched the group with rapt attention!! They sang as if they were squeezing every ounce of energy from their bodies, and showed powerful, sharp dance routines.
A week before their appearance, YUNHO had hurt his right thigh. But after receiving acupuncture therapy he went up on to the stage.
No one would have noticed his injury from the way he danced just as energetically as the other members. They kept the fans captivated the whole time.

The name who has awaken the entire pop world. Tohoshinki, their popularity and talent are growing rapidly. After making debut in 2005, they’re experiencing a steady high-speed growth until now. In August a-nation 09 held in Nagai stadium (29th, 30th), as reported by Korea Daily News, they would make the 4th times appearance. In addition of the first concert at Tokyo Dome which turned to be successful, Tohoshinki, for has been noticed, is running their very own “best summer”.

A Crushing Force
Tohoshinki is having their sweeping attack. Yunho, the leader, “We just happened to finally realize that our popularity is growing high recently. It’s an unbelievable feeling. Thank you very much for that.” he said in wide smile. Hero Jejung who is responsible as the main vocal of the group explained what it means by just realizing their popularity. “More people now could suddenly aware of our appearance” he said. “Before, when I had no make up on, I could walk around without everyone notice, but now, even when I’m wearing a hat to undercover, people just suddenly knows. For example, when I’m in convinience store, I could hear people starts to questioning who is me, like ‘Don’t you think he’s just like TVXQ member?’ and another one will say ‘No, he couldn’t be!’” Jejung laughed. “But I better pretend not to hear anything.”

The most eye-catching thing among the members is the increasing number of male fans. “We heard for this year, the number of male fans who get interest to us is increasing plentifully. They said we had good songs. I must say, as an artist, this is overjoyed me much.” Yunho said. However, as an idol group, there’s one possible thing that can’t be avoidable. Following an increasing popularity, is a rapid decreasing of privacy. “We can’t have a truly rest day. There’s no day where you can actually relax all day.” (Hero Jejung), good thing that all members are still in their beginning 20 years old. It’s an agony for popular stars, however, “The hard moments when we have to work all day, abandoning our resting time, yet when we come up the stage in many regions to see a lot of people coming to our concert… the hard times are swept away.” (Park Yuchon) said to keep on faithful day by day. Since 2004 in Japan, five of them are still living together in a mansion in Tokyo downtown. “We talk about a lot of things. We talk about music, about game, about anything people in their 20 years talking. There’s always Junsu who keeps telling jokes. No matter what, we always want to be like this, the five of us. Things we’re impossible to do alone, becomes possible when we all five people do together.” Yunho said proudly about the good teamwork in them.

Hero Jejung on behalf of other 5 members talked about the 5th a-nation, “It’s a great show with a lot of artists performing, there are many people who are not our fans as well. How we can live up the stage with our power, that’s the burden of this big stage.” Yunho added, “Also there are many collaboration stages we can’t do with a lot of artists before, that can be done on this stage. I’m so looking forward to it.” he showed his desire.

Changmin revealed, “Until now, I still have the rookie feeling whenever we perform that never changes.” he told in calm expression of him.

“Of course we’re looking forward to get awards like anyone else. However, to get that, it’s not likely that we will do something we won’t do. We will just work our best, and see how’s the result later. Being number one is not always the most important thing.” Yunho said emphatically.

Ever since January 2008 release “Purple Line” until April this year relese “Share The World”, they already have six continuous Oricon Weekly Chart 1st singles (except planning work). They have become the first foreign artist that record such success. It’s in the end, a result of them not losing their original intention everytime they create a new record album.

What if time could go back?

Todo mundo já se perguntou o que aconteceria se pudesse voltar atrás, quais escolhas faria ou não, e quais oportunidades arriscaria se tivesse uma segunda chance. Será que é uma pena que esses questionamentos fiquem apenas nem nossa mente, já que não é possível transformar o passado? Acho que tendemos a pensar que se isso ou aquilo fosse diferente tudo seria melhor, quando na verdade nunca se sabe se isso seria de fato uma realidade. Aliás, se isso ou aquilo fosse do jeito que a gente queria que fosse, podemos ter certeza que encontraríamos outras coisas para exercerem o papel do “incômodo” nas nossas vidas, de qualquer forma.

Mesmo assim… existem coisas que passaram, idades que não voltam e momentos em nossas vidas que mereciam ser reprisados. E isso sim é uma pena, porque certos acontecimentos são únicos e especiais, de tal forma que você sabe que dificilmente irá vivenciar algo semelhante novamente. Talvez esteja aí a mágica de tudo, se fossem situações corriqueiras poderíamos não dar tanto valor quanto damos à eles ao pensar que são preciosos.

Acho que todos nós nos arrependemos de algo que fizemos no passado, todos gostaríamos de mudar alguma coisa. Quanto a mim… eu gostaria de ter tido mais coragem para perseguir os meus sonhos, ou pelo menos não ter aberto mão de algo que me fazia feliz, como a dança, por exemplo. A minha paixão por ela tornou-se ainda maior após ter começado a fazer aulas de jazz e dança do ventre, há seis anos atrás, mas  certas circunstâncias me fizeram deixar a atividade de lado e não pude chegar até onde eu me imaginava um dia. Nunca fui uma exímia dançarina, mas eu realmente amava dançar e me apresentar, por mais timidez e nervosismo que tinha ao subir no palco. E hoje, por mais vontade que eu ainda tenha de voltar, estou parada há muito tempo e com a idade avançada também para voltar ao começo e me dedicar novamente. Agora, como uma jovem adulta, os compromissos com o futuro e a faculdade ocupam um imenso espaço em minha vida e precisaria fazer um malabarismo danado para me dedicar à esse hobbie também. É… se eu pudesse reprisar…

De qualquer forma, continuo sendo uma amante da dança e ela continua presente no meu dia-a-dia. Quando assisto à performances em grupo aquela mesma sensação dos ensaios volta, e é muito bom poder reviver parte dessas memórias.
Aí vai algumas dance versions que eu ainda irei aprender:

Replay, do SHINee. A música faz parte do mini-álbum de debut dos meninos (bem meninos mesmo, né? Todos com caras de molequinhos, coisa cute), no ano passado.

Os deuses do leste ensaiam a coreografia de Purple Line, mas não sem antes fazerem as usuais palhaçadas, é claro. Detalhe para a postura dos dançarinos de “peloamor”.

2PM ensaiando I Hate You. É o que um ensaio realmente é, sempre tem os que zoam com tudo e os que apelam com isso, nada mais mara. E engraçado, seja aqui ou na Coréia, meninos sempre serão meninos; uns bobões.♥

Friday was one of the weirder, more exciting days of the past year. I took Graham to his Red Sox fan dentist, saw my psychiatrist, helped a lost Chinese tourist find an art gallery, gave my navel orange to a stoner, and intentionally walked my dog in a torrential downpour. And wrote yesterday’s rather interesting blog about visiting my dad’s gravesite and other ritually significant experiences. And got tipsy in the evening, after a darn fine home-grilled Omaha Steak.

The only missing ingredient left to make the day more colorful was getting arrested, propositioned, or growing a magic beanstalk.

I particularly enjoyed the el ride with Stoner Boy, on my way back from the shrink’s. He was about 22, from Wicker Park (which I found out later, and which means he rode from way Northwest all the way into the Water Tower area, changed trains, only to ride way north and then west again to get to Skokie to visti his friend). I asked him, after I got on the train down in the Loop, if he knew what was the starting time for the Purple Line (formerly called the Evanston Express cuz it skips all the North Side stops in Chicago). He didn’t know, but as we talked a bit, he realized it might be a good choice for him too. So we both decided to get off at Belmont and take our chances (it was about 3:30pm). While we waited for our stop, he rolled his own cigarette, from some papers and tobacky he had in a white business envelope. If nothing else, getting off at Belmont would let him have his smoke, even if he got back on the Howard Red Line ten minutes later cuz the Purple wasn’t running yet.

When we were on the el platform, I didn’t see him for awhile. Then he came back over to me and said somebody had told him the Purple would be here in five minutes or less. Then he glanced down at my plastic grocery bag and asked if I had any snacks. I said I had an orange. He didn’t come right out and ask, but after an awkward pause, I said, “Do you need an orange?”

“Yeah,” he replied. “I had a couple rice cakes earlier, but that was about it.”

So I surrendered the orange to my poor adopted stoner with the munchies. He was on his way to Skokie, same as me, but I stopped short of offering him a car ride to his friend’s.

I also wondered – in that old time “evangelical” sort of way – if I should be witnessing to him about Jesus. But I decided against it. Maybe I just don’t wanna work that hard anymore. I dunno. I was still ministering to him, in my own private way. If I had felt that Jesus Thumb pressing down on me to say something more directly, I would have. But I didn’t sense the timing was right.

So we rode the Purple Line in adjoining seats when it came, and we only spoke momentarily on the Howard Street platform when we arrived at the end of the line (the end for me, anyway.) I told him where he could pick up the Skokie Swift, and then went up the elevator, out of Stoner Boy’s life forever.

Or not. If you’re reading this now, Stoner Boy from Wicker Park, Jesus loves you. He’s even willing to tolerate your pretentious, fake bohemian, roll-your-own smoking habit, since obviously you’re piss poor, sort of lost, and therefore automatically one of His peeps.

Just remember to say “thank you” more enthusiastically the next time a complete stranger offers you his orange and gives directions unsolicited.

Konser di Saitama kemarin adalah konser kedua mereka setelah Kobe. Dan ini adalah liputan2 para Bigeast or Cassie yang lagi nonton disana, dengan kata lain video dibawah ini adalah fancam. Jadi kualitasnya gak terlalu bagus. Tapi hargai usaha mereka yg sudah mengabadikan momen itu! (Ciee..bahasanya..)

Oia, Junsu emang udah diperbolehkan berdiri, tapi dia belum diperbolehkan nge-dance. Ini bisa dilihat dari minusnya Junsu waktu mereka perform lagu Purple Line..

TVXQ has once again occupied the number 1 position of Oricon’s weekly chart.

TVXQ announced on April 22 that they have once again occupied the Oricon’s weekly chart with their Japanese new single ‘Share the World!’. With this, this had made TVXQ have 6 number 1 weekly charts which had made them the new No.1 ‘Overseas Artist.’

The group’s 27th Japanese Single ‘Share the World!’ has also occupied Number 1 position for Oricon’s album sales and Number 1 position for Oricon Weekly Chart.

Oricon has posted news on April 28 on how TVXQ has succeedly have their 6th Number 1 single on their weekly chart. Which set the Number 1 Overseas artists record.

According to recent news, TVXQ has also hitted number 1 with their hits ‘Purple Line’ back in Jan 2008, ‘Beautiful You’, ‘JUMON-Mirotic’ and ‘Bolero/Kiss the Baby Sky’. This establishes the best record at the Japanese successive overseas artist at the beginning.

‘Share the world’ is currently being used as the 9th opening music for the anime-series ‘One Piece’ ‘The Secret Code’ (their latest hit) was also used in a series-drama.

The 27th single `Share The World’ which meantime, shines to Oricon weekly single chart 1st place will be in Korea on May 6th in CD and CD+DVD 2 kind versions for domestic license sold. The DVD will contain `Share The World’ music video sketch image and translation Text record especially which will cause a hot reaction.
