If you’re bored of Mass Effect, fed up with Final Fantasy, and even tired of that old copy of Earthbound for the SNES, why not try something a little different? We recently came across an upcoming RPG that looks a bit unusual when put alongside your everyday role-playing experience.

Created by Arvind Raja Yadav and Pyrodactyl Games, The A.Typical RPG features everyday situations, tactical RPG gameplay, cartoony hand drawn art, branching storyline and a sense of humor in a strange town called whatever-this-place-is-ville.

ATRPG is based on the lives of a bunch of friends as they trudge through a college semester, with everyone in the town, ranging from bullies to real estate agents, out to get them. Will they be able to survive?

The team have released both a gameplay trailer, as well as a demo of the game. A release date has not yet been confirmed but hopefully we can expect to see this intriguing title sometime in Q2. ATRPG is being released for PC/Linux.
